Under my administration for the entirety of my previous term, I made it my continued duty to enrich the minds of our nation's academics. Major General Amancio Belmonte poored over the cloth map before him. The war was not going well. Though his forces still held the air, the dense jungles of the south made that advantage mostly useless. The rebels also held a few of the northern cities, including the capital of Caracas. He intended to change that soon, and so the General turned to his comrade, Admiral Macario Vela, and whispered in his ear, pointing to the map as he did so. The Admiral nodded and turned to his officers to convey this new plan.

23:00 hours, just outside Caracas:
Captain Evaristo San Nicolas of the T.V.N Asis, set down his binoculars and turned away from the observation window to face his bridge staff. "We all know what we are here to do. We all know what is at stake and what measures we must climb to to preserve our nation. Though I do not agree to the death of civilians, they knew what they were getting into when they joined up with the rebels." Captain San Nicolas turned again to face the observation window. With a sigh he gave his orders: "Commence the bombardment of Caracas."

In his office Presidente Jorge finally put down his baseball and got to work. "No new messages?" he thought, it seems that none are partial to our cause. The war wasn't going to well, and Jorge knew it. If they couldn't find some allies soon or some new reinforcements, the True Republic of Venezuela might cease to be. That was so close to a reality that Jorge needed to start looking for a contingency plan. Puerto Rico was an ideal stronghold with so many old U.S. bases in the area, not to mention that the fleets formerly stationed there would come in handy. The island of Espanola would also come in handy, but Presidente Jorge didn't have the forces to spare for a mass anexation like that. Presidente sat down at his desk and sent out an email to General Cleto Elizondo, his acting Department Chair of the Interior, ordering the anexation of Puerto Rico.

Equalsun Empire poses not only a threat to Brovarria, but a threat to CIS and The Great Nova Roma. With his plans and military placement it seems as though he is planning to attack a bordering nation. And that is against the alliance I've formed with CIS. Brovarria officially declares war on Equalsun Empire. At 1700s tonight a military plan will be unfolded. Details will soon follow. After the annexation of North Korea Brovarria has gained 250,000 new armed forces members giving us 1 million men in the army. As of right now 950,000 ground troops have been mobilized and designated to either 1/3 aircraft carriers 1/5,550 transport helos, or 1/2,000 C-130J Hercules. Also, 16,550 Tanks, 20,000 LAVs and 5,500 MRAPs have also been mobilized and are currently aboard Aircraft carriers. More military mobilizations, 5,000 A-10 Warthogs, 4,500 Apache Helos, 5,000 AC-130 "Spooky Gunships", 2,000 B-52 bombers, 1 Air Command (Joint STARS), 1,000 F35s, 1,000 F16s, 1,200 F22s have been scrambled. On the naval side, 10 ballistic missile submarines, 40 attack submarines, 50 destroyers, 3 aircraft carriers. The invasion will go as follows: A joint and coalition of forces coming from the North (CIS) and from the South (The Great Nova Roma, will be also invading. Brovarria invades from the East. At first 105mm Artillery based in mainland Brovarria will start firing at known defenses alongside the shore. Soon to follow will be the B-52 bombers "carpet bombing" and using napalm to eradicate known enemy positions in country lands. Destroyers and Ballistic Missile submarines will start to fire strategically to inside city defense and other known "smaller" unit locations. Then land craft will 400,000 take ashore on the eastern shore of Equalsun. The entire eastern shore of China coinciding with Brovarria has been divided into sections which had units already designated. In sync will be 350,000 coming in aboard helos. Also in sync will be the paratroopers jumping (behind enemy lines) into the cities of Hong Kong and Shanghai. Once the paratroopers are in and the soldiers on the shore create a distraction causing more troops to flow onto the shore Force Recon troops within the paratrooper units will essentially stay low and spot out enemy positions calling in either A-10 Warthogs, or if it is bigger AC-130 gunships, despite that planes including the A-10 and AC-130 will be conducting operations of their own inquired targets. Before that F-16, F-35s, and F-22s will be clearing out the skies of any Equalsun air resistance before the initial gunships and strategical planes come in. If success happens and the soldiers push off the beach and into mainland China. Most B-52s will return home as their part is done in the initial invasion of Equalsun. But some will stay in order to help with the efforts of mass selections of units. Then it is smooth sailing from then on if it is a success on our part. Whilst on behalf of CIS and Nova Roma they have to do their job in order to conquer this nation. If there is success, efforts from the East, North, and South will have met in a classified rendezvous point in middle Equalsun we will have succesfully invaded, conquered, and will control the lands of China.

The Flaming Almighty looked up as General Cortez and the unfortunate commander walked into the room with their heads down. They knew their fate and had accepted it once it became clear that the former Vice President had escaped.
"This is very disappointing," said the Almighty,"The magnitude of your failure is almost incomprehensible. The Vice President was a priority target and you let him slip through your fingers!" He yelled as he slammed his fist on his desk.
"We did our best... there was nothing we could do... I swear! Please! I have a family!" The commander stammered.
"Shut it! You knew what would happen if you failed. I'm actually not that surprised that a peon like you is capable of this, but one of my finest Generals?" The Almighty shook his head in disappointment."This is almost inexcusable."
"Almost sir?" The commander said hopefully. That hope was quickly obliterated as the Flaming Almighty fired a single round from his custom made .50 cal desert eagle into the commanders head. He never saw it coming. "Take this as a warning Cortez, one more screw up like this one and your brains will be the ones being scraped off my tent. Now move back to your command post. Intel says that the Norgan navy is moving to bombard Caracas."
"Yes sir," replied Cortez.
The Flaming Almighty sat down with a sigh as Cortez left his tent. "Guards! Discreetly bury this body in the jungle. We can't let the people catch onto what we're doing." A time would come when that secrecy would not be needed, he knew. "Soon." He looked down at the map on his desk. While the failure to catch the Vice President was monumental, it hadn't changed much of the initial assault. Several northern cities were in their possession along with the jungles in the south, and they had taken over a portion of the oil fields. While only some of the air force, and almost none of the navy, had defected to his side, he did have control of a majority of the army. The afterward is what the Vice Presidents survival had effected. The small ground forces that had retreated quickly regrouped at less targeted cities and had put up an impressive defensive front with help from the air. The navy had also responded quickly, moving in to bombard the capital.His neighbor to the south, Shaler, had thankfully decided to stay neutral. An empire of that size was something he didn't need going against him. He had prepared a speech for today. The people of Venezuela and the nations of the world needed to hear his stance, and he intended to give it. He got up with his notes and went to the broadcasting station.
"Broadcast this globally, I want to address everyone." He ordered as he moved in front of the microphone and camera.
"Live in 10, 9, 8, 7, 6..." The director finished the countdown on his hand, it was go-time.
"People of Venezuela and nations of the world." He began,"As many of you know, I have started on a campaign to dethrone the corrupt regime that currently grips this country. Some of you that are in my control wish for me to fail, and you are entitled to that opinion. I will not jail or persecute you, but I cannot let you pass back into enemy territory. The danger to our intelligence and your well being is far too great. Strict border control will be exercised in order to ensure no civilians are caught on the front lines. I would also like to show you my side of things before you make up your minds about me, both my citizens and the surrounding nations. I would like to outline the fact that Norga simply doesn't care about their citizens. A perfect example is the start of their bombardment of Caracas. They indiscriminately fire on their own city, despite little intel on where to aim for my forces. They rain death upon their very citizens, killing randomly in the hope that they hurt me. They have no idea where my assets are positioned, and willing take the risk of taking countless civilian lives for little to no actually reward. Think about it! They push forward this campaign of being victims of a terrible attack, pleading for help, while simultaneously executing innocent people for simply being within a few miles of my forces! I refuse to step down until these terrible crimes have been answered for. Peace and prosperity to you all."

Fire rains down as the bombardment begins, soldiers have gone to fortified bomb shelters and other sturdy buildings for protection. Some forces have pulled back to the southwestern edge of the city behind the cover of the Venezuelan coastal range, waiting for orders on how to repel the attack.
"Sir! We have comms with General Cortez." yells a soldier from the entrance of a small command tent.
"Good," replies newly promoted commander,"I'll be there in a second." The commander enters the tent, and sits down at the radio. "Yes sir?"
"Intel shows that the Norgan navy is bombarding from the north, just east of the mountains." explains General Cortez,"I want you and a group of mobile artillery to go up the mountains and fire down on them, bring RPGs and some light anti-air in case of air support. Make sure your group is large enough to take care of the threat, but try not to alert them to you intentions until you start firing. The mountains should keep you out of sight of the ships, but a passing air patrol might spot you."
"Yes sir," the commander replied.
"Oh, and commander," Cortez added,"don't screw this up. Both of our necks are on the line."
"Yes sir..." the commander stammered nervously as he remembered the mysterious conditions of his recent promotion.
"Cortez out."
The commander left the tent. "Everyone, gather around!" he yelled,"We've got a plan, now we're gonna need..."

after hearing of the Brovarrian's invading and attacking the Equalsun empire from the east and ismeil declaring war in the west, the CIS ses it is time to aid their allies and stop the aggression of the Empire to the south. the CIS forces move in from the north in mongolia and manchuria, catching the equalsun off guard.

OOC: Ok CIS as well as Brovarria, I'd like to inform each of you that your numbers are dramatically larger in a large amount of areas then they should be. I understand this isn't exactly how the world is but at least do some research to find out approximations... Brovarria, you are drastically over calculating almost all of your armor units, as well as your air units. CIS, you're way overdoing the number of infantry, tanks, and AFVs you'd have at your disposal, and youre also moving them to points instantly? That sort of mass movement across Siberia would take months to complete, and your other borders would have little to no defenses... These unrealistic numbers are getting to the point where it's insane seeing as both Equalsun and I are using very accurate and realistic numbers. I'd like to request an immediate edit to the numbers. Possibly refer to http://www.globalfirepower.com/ for more realistic numbers...

Read it before you start throwing around numbers like that; the amount of mechanized forces at your disposal right now is absurd.
