This is a warning to all neighboring countries. If any Military, Civilian, and/or Political sea transportation vehicles; Boats, Rhibs, Cruisers Etc. are spotted 5 miles near the coast this will be considered as a threat. The new NMDMZ law is coming into place due to recent territorial conflicts. Any sea craft spotted in the NMDMZ will be ferociously attacked by the Royal Green Navy.

Just to make this clear this NMDMZ will not be De militarized for the Confederacy of the Cuatmono Regions, because it is not international water but it is our national waters. Territory of the royal CCR government and protected by all Sectors of the Militant Sectors of Cuatmono (MSC).

The Army consists of 3 divisions of armoured mechanized infantry units, along with 2 armoured divisions, Tier One SOG consist of 5 teams trained in unconventional special operations engagements. Cydonian Navy consist of 2 Fleets operating in the Pacific and Atlantic oceans. The Air Force consists of 2 air wings operating by itself and in conjunction with the Army and Navy.

After mass amounts of troop movements by nations across the globe Cydonia is pulling all forces out of Resdayn but will leave the pacific fleet to blackface his coast, we will be seizing the real world locations of Iran and Afghanistan to secure the future of tomorrow.

The Empire of Calibanus will be following Cydonia's lead and withdrawing Legionnaires from the front line to be re posted to the Indonesian Islands. Calibanus believes this area to be vital in its war efforts and will be annexing the islands to protect it's maritime interests in the West Pacific.

We will also be moving Naval forces to launch amphibious landings on the South Korean Peninsula with orders to capture the region. We will be stationing a large garrison there as a Maritime peacekeeping force. Our forces will be protecting Merchant Shipping in the area and as such, all Calibanian Warships escorting Merchant vessels will fire if approached without first being hailed. These Merchant Protection Ships will not me participating in conflicts and as such, will pose no threat to other nations.

A fair warning to your sea farers, I have multiple merchant trading in the Indonesian area and the 20 ships carrying cargo are indeed returning to our homeland. Just to make sure you don't assume or attack us as of suspicious behavior I am giving you a warning do not attack these ships mean no harm. Now don't assume they are a bunch of defenseless cargo trading ships. They are armed and deadly and are most certainly not subject to search, so if they are approached by any sea craft without fair notice they will defend and shoot at will. I hope you choose to let them pass peacefully as they will be 3.24 nautical miles away from the Indonesian coast in approximately 4 hours and 29 minutes.

I'm not sure if I qualify as new or not so I'm going to post my army size anyway. It was bigger but the numbers didn't look as realistic compared to the # of people in my nation, so I toned it down to 10% of my total population(5% are professional soldiers and 5% are apart of a mandatory conscription).
Professional army size: 700,000
Conscripted/Auxiliary army size: 700,000
Navy: None as of yet ~ I think my nation is still to small for anything outside of a few transports. Instead they rely on mortars to keep enemy ships from their shores.
Airforce: None as of yet ~ same reason with the Navy. Unless you count the 70 attack choppers used almost strictly for ground support. Instead they rely on AA guns around the border of Mifanna and a few around the major cities and other key strategic places.
For the number of (very lightly armored) tanks and other military vehicles: there's 420 land vehicles all-together including the attack choppers. Without the attack choppers there is 280 land vehicles. I have only had enough time to mention about 1/2 this post in my factbook as of yet.

Also, as a sidenote: 50,000 of the professional army are away from Mifanna occupying the 2 unclaimed territories of Pakistan and Oman on the world map. Also, the Conscripted/Auxiliary army never leaves Mifanna's borders. It's strictly for defense.

With a population of only 8 million inhabitants, Octavan's military is small compared to other nations, but our economic spend of 20% GDP on defence and our forced conscription allows us to hold our own against invaders foreign and domestic.

Approximately 12% of the male population are employed directly by the military with a further 6% of the population serving out their 5 year conscription. This gives us an armed forces contingent as follows:
Total military strength: 720 000
Professional soldiers: 480 000
Conscripts: 240 000

Our spending has been primarily focused on naval defenses, with air bases being a secondary concern. The majority of our naval bases are situated on the North coast, allowing access to the Meditteranean. Construction of secondary bases along our west coast is under way, in order to give us direct access to the Atlantic as well.

Two airbases (one in the north, one in the south) allow us to keep our air spaces defended.

At this stage Octavan poses no military threat to any of it's fellow nations inside the CAS and is content to continue to use it's military forces to violently repress it's own people and continue to force conversian to the state religion.

Defectors escaping the state to neighboring nations have reported massive build ups of missionary and religious materials.

Octavan Central Defence (OCD) hereby announces it's intention to purchase an small number of Naval vessels for coastal patrol, anti-piracy and regional defense. OCD would prefer to purchase these vessels from nations within CAS and therefore invites all CAS nations with surplus or shipyards to tender for the purchase of:

2x Destroyer class vessels
2x Frigate class vessels
8x Corvette class vessels
4x Diesel/Electric submarines

OCD is also interested in purchasing vessels suitable for conversion to Hospital or Missionary ships.
