The Angostican 9th and 6th Air Squadrons bombed Praetorian positions in Miami, causing the enemy to scatter across the city, along with an estimated 250 deaths.

Meanwhile, Angostican Forces of 20,000 strong are gathering outside the city with artillery and tanks, ready to pound the city. At the same time, the Christainville forces have cut off supplies for the Praetorian forces. Resistance groups have formed as well, already causing much damage to the enemy. They have blown 2 command centers, killing 24 enemy soldiers and officers.

MASSIVE BOMBING RAID ON ANGOSTICAN CAPITAL!

At 10:30 a.m. this morning, the Imperial Air Force launched a bombing raid against the Angostican capital, targeting government buildings and military installations. A force of 75 SB-2 stealth bombers and 100 Typhoon ASF's took part in the strike. The Angostican President's Mansion was hit 7 times by high-explosive bombs, but we do not know if he is alive or dead. As the strike force neared Washington, they were surprised to see the Angostican 7th Carrier Fleet waiting in the harbor below. A small detachment of bomber and fighters broke off to attack the ships.

In all, Venatorian losses were heavy, numbering at 29 bombers and 36 fighters lost. They gave as good as they got, however, destroying many important Angostican buildings, including the headquarters of the War Department. They also sunk 2 carriers, 3 battleships, 13 cruisers, 4 missile cruisers, 9 frigates, 12 destroyers, as 6 submarines, crippling the 4th Fleet indefinitely.

The Battle For Miami
August 21, 7:45 A.M.
The beaches of Miami were red with blood as Praetorian soldiers marched onto Angostican soil. Within an 3 hours, the soldiers had taken the beaches and established a firm grip on the area. Taking over 10,000 prisoners and suffering mild casualties, the Praetorians are regrouping into stronger positions. Since most of the landing force's offensive equipment, i.e. tanks and heavy artillery, were sent to the bottom of the ocean after the savage air attack on the fleet, the troops will hold out until new equipment and reinforcements arrive.

11:48. Christainville subs come behind the enemy forces and shoot missiles on the beaches attacking enemy soldiers. From there 3,000 marines begin a attack behind the praetorian forces, making it a double front as angostican soldiers and christainville marines attack them, boxing them in. During the next 3 hours it is a civil blood bath, as christainville soldiers help prisoners, arm them, and advance on the enemy. After another hour the Miami area is almost recaptured.

RESCUE MISSION A SUCCESS!PRAETORIAN GENERAL SAFE!

Seeing the imminent collapse of the Praetorian beach-head due to the cooperation between the Angostican and Christainville forces, the Grand Emperor ordered the Raptor Team 7 to execute a tactical insertion in the Praetorian command center, and extract the captured General and his entourage. At 11:57 the team reached the drop zone, and, after eliminating the nearby hostiles, touched down. Within an hour, the General was safe in the helicopter, and the team was departing with only 2 Raptors wounded. The Team Captain reports 18 hostiles eliminated, and the salvage of countless top-secret documents.

Currently, the Praetorian Army is being evacuated, although they are taking heavy losses. Thankfully, the thin Angostican lines were vulnerable at many points, and the Praetorians managed to make a small breakthrough and are heading towards the beach. The Grand Emperor of Venatorium is sending a small detachment of attack submarines to help escort the rescue fleet.

The President of Angostica is alive and well. At the time of the bombing, the President was at a secret bunker underground. Due to the bombing, government officials have been evacuated. The Angostican 6th and 2nd Air Squadrons have been up in the skies engaging in a dogfight. so far Angostican losses amount to 6 deaths and Venatorian deaths are 7.

The City of Miami has been liberated by Angostican and Christianville forces after 4 hours of fighting. Angostican and Christianville casualties are 3,567 soldiers and Praetorian are 9,265 soldiers.

ANGOSTICANS BOMB ONTARIO! VENATORIAN ARMOUR SAVES THE DAY!

Soon after the successful raid on Washington, the Angostican Air Force launched a raid of their own on Ontario. Although they were initially successful, as more and more AA units and fighter-interceptors were brought into action, the raid was driven away. As Angostican artillery launched was is being seen as a preliminary bombardment before a ground attack, the Venatorian 11th and 19th Armoured Corps surged across the front lines, wreaking havoc in the Angostican artillery sectors. Eventually, the Venatorians were in turn repulsed, but not before inflicting severe damage and creating confusion behind Angostican lines. The artillery barrage has stopped, and it the imminent Angostican attack has been delayed.


Venatorian losses number at 1,890 men lost, including 34 tanks, while Angostican losses are estimated at 276 guns, 47 tanks, and 2,377 men.

50 Miles out from the miami coast, bombers begin their attack on the rescue fleet, bombing some ships and aiming to divert subs. We continue the fight by taking out 5 ships with bombers. As our fighters engage in fights with anti air craft cannons with the ships. This goes on for a hour until the planes have to pull back. with 10 enemy ships and 4 subs destroyed.

Many people in both nations expressed relief at this news, and hopefully, the talks will produce a peace treaty.

The President of Angostica enters the conference room with his advisor, William Adams. He is shown to his seat by a Stornfanian soldier. As the President sits down, he asks the soldier, "Where is the Grand Emperor?" The soldier replies, "The Emperor will arrive momentarily." The President discusses with Adams about what they should do, "I think we should propose that we want our Canadian territories back and that we also want Venatorium to leave the continent" "Good idea," replies Adams. The Emperor then walks in and sits down. "Lets hope that he is willing to accept our demands," whispers Adams.

After many hours of delay, the Grand Emperor of Venatorium finally arrives in his personal jet at the peace conference. As the Venatorian national anthem plays, the Emperor swiftly walks into the room, flanked by his Minister of Foreign Relations, Michael Richter, and his Minister of Defence, George Lauds. All eyes are on the Venatorian delegation as they take their seats by the table. The assembled are all anxious to get this conference started. They all realize that this meeting will either stop the bloodshed, or prolong it...

The High Protector and Minister of Defense of the Terran Republic appear as news of the summit spreads. It would seem as though another nation is intent on taking a stance in the war. Broadcasts over television, the internet, radio, and other media are available internationally as the High Protector makes his brief address to the world.

"On August nineteenth, just after five o'clock, the world sprung into war. The Angostican authorities across the pond, upon Venatorium's request to sign a second treaty after the first war, declared war once again upon the Empire. The Terran Times, as well as media across the world jumped to the defense of Angostica and the POWs held by Venatorium. I have only one response, and the world ought to take heed as the leaders of these two nations have their summit. I cannot support, nor endorse, nor approve of what the Venatorian Empire has done in its extortion of Angostica. However, they are our friend and ally. That is also a fact I cannot ignore. Let the world know, that in accordance to the Black-Red Joint-Military Alliance, the Terran people shall defend said ally from our enemies. From here henceforth, the Terran Republic is at war with Angostica and affiliated allies, and shall not and shall not relent in its pursuit of victory until the two nations either obliterate each other, or a treaty is signed allowing the Terran people to exit the war. Long live the Terran Republic!"

The broadcast fades the the Terran flag before cutting back to your regularly scheduled program.

The Grand Emperor watches the recent news broadcast regarding the entrance of the Terran Republic with growing optimism.

"Now the war is surely won. Already, we are at the gates of the Angostican capital. With the Terrans in this war, we can destroy the threat from the south, opening up Florida to invasion. Send a battle plan to the Terrans, outlining an offensive in the southern waters near Cuba,'' he tells his Defense Minister.

"It is being done as we speak, Your Excellency," he replies.

The Emperor continues, "Now Venatorium and the Terrans will be able to rid the world of that shamble of a 'democracy' known as Angostica. Today, the Global Fascist Order begins."
