The Free Kingdom of Allanea mourns the deaths of valiant Allanean and allied sailors who have perished in battle against the Sassinians. We do not, however, falter. We will not, however, back off. We will not, however, surrender.

Here we have the nation of Sassinia engaging not merely in imperialism - Allanea is also imperialist - not merely in aggression - everyone is aggressive. We have them engaging in raw thuggery, merely leaping upon a nation and attempting to bow them to their will without the flimsiest attempt at a justification.

Our fleets - and the fleets of many of our Monarchist allies - are now on their way to Sassinia. We, as a civilized and freedom-loving (which is the same) people, call upon Sassinia to back down. We will not be vengeful if you do. We will be magnaminous and will call upon our allies to do the same.

But we remind you also - our ships will soon be in range to attack. If you do not surrender by that time, they will attack.

Sassinia demanded that Deutsch-Brittannia become its protectorate, threatening war. At this point, various members of the Coalition of Monarchies, including Allanea, Quirina, West Frania, and also some nations that were not members, such as New Roma Republic, joined in to fight Sassinia.

"Well here we are. Prepare to be cleansed, dastardly vermin!"

VRS Alimanne, a small frigate of 560 men on board was sunk by one of the four kinetic bombing devices launched against the combined fleet. The men swam to the nearest hospital ship with lifeboats, while ships nearby fetched the crew of the sank ship. 30 men were killed in the sunken frigate. Another destroyer was hit by the kinetic device, although damaged, it is still capable of doing ranged attacks. The other devices were intercepted, thanks to the super-long ranged interception system equipped to the core of the naval formations.

Now, it is our turn. Using the Sjolmasrobot 10 supersonic stealth cruise missiles for larger capital ships, and HK7 'Viking' Hypersonic Cruise Missiles for the less-sized capital warships, the "Death Sea Orchestra" begins. While ships are playing loudly and repeatedly through the loudspeakers of the warships, the military march of the Armed Forces was the noise at the silence of the seas. The barrage had a significance to the intervals of launching the missiles. At the course of the whole march, two cruise missiles are launched to the coordinated target relentlessly until targets are no more blinking in the radar. Submarine squadrons started their first set of barrages continuously at the enemy Sassinian ships. Attack submarine squadrons at 15,000 meters below started to cruise under sea with an almost unknown destination, even the commanders can't figure out where they're heading, but was ordered to be the first attack.

Warships at the surface started their orchestral barrage of guided missiles, without mentioning the Longsword-class awaiting full operation at shore.

The flight group reaches Sassinia, they change their heading to make way for the closest city. The fighters arrange themselves in a defencive pattern around the bombers. The bombs are armed, and ready. They begin their approach to the city.

Naval Taskforce
"Sir, a message from SHIELD." the Legionnaire hands a message to the Navibus Praetor.

"Hmm, ok. They are 10 minutes to Port. Order the fleet to make the changes."

"Yes sir." The fleet is now heading for Sassinia's fleet. The aircraft on the carriers all take off. Both are Nimitz class, and carry 87 planes each. 55 AV-8B Harriers, 59 F/A-18 Super Hornets, and 60 S-3 Vikings takes off to intercept the Sassinia fleet.

In Orbit
"THis is Strike Group Alpha, we are approaching the closest one. All Scramjets, concentrate fire on the thrusters on that rocket. Lets knock it out of orbit!" The 5 scramjets concentrate fire on the thrusters. The metal begins to heat up.

The fleet detected the missiles with a matter of seconds, and quickly launched anti-ballistic missiles. Most of the enemy missiles were destroyed, although one of them crashed into a cruiser, sinking it. 24 men were killed, and the rest were transported to the other ships with lifeboats. Meanwhile, the fleet detected the submarines, and launched submarines of its own, firing underwater missiles at high speed. The ships above launched a barrage of ballistic missiles.

One ship launched 5 deadly chemical weapons, and in them was a chemical formula invented by Sassinian scientists, codenamed "Project X", and the chemical was a gas, but would turn liquid when exposed to air, and would quickly dissolve gas masks and other countermeasures.

"Open bombay doors." The order goes around the B-52's. All are ready. The 2 with the BLU-82's peal off and fly toward the business sector of the city. The8 with incendiaries prepare to drop their bomb. They will soon be over the targets. The 2 also prepare to drop their bombs, but one of the bombers peals off, and flies to the city hall. They are almost over their targets.

2000 km away from Sassinia

Not being in anti-ship missile range of Sassinia, the Allanean ships continued to maneuver, to avoid being targeted by some kind of new long-range munition. The ships deployed floating RADAR decoys, that would make it appear to a RADAR observer that the fleet was thrice its actual size, and then, once the ships' weapons operators plotted the missiles' routes, launched their first attack - 100 cruise missiles, launched at military camps and installations on the shore, each of them carrying a 500-pound high-explosive warhead.

The planes from the Mars and Bellona quickly reach the Sassinian Fleet, and begin their attack. The New Roman Fleet is within missile range of the Sassinian Fleet. The Guided Missile Cruisers fires upon the enemy fleet. The 7 Destroyers also fire their missiles upon the Sassinian Fleet. Hostile action has been taken against the Sassinians by the New Romans.

"Command, this is Strike Group Alpha, we can't take it down, Bravo and Charlie haven't gotten it down either. We keep heating up a single area, but it doesn't melt." reports the Mission Commander

"Leave it, Intelligence found it is made of Tungsten. The melting temperature is too high."

"Oh, great that is ju-" VROOOM "Command, the thing just launched! Bravo 3 is flying out of control. Bravo, eject!"

The Sassinian fleet launched the aircraft from the carriers, along with the jets that were already flying, and a aerial dogfight began, each jet firing its own array of missiles at the enemy. A few jets got into formation, and began assaulting the Roman fleet, using their missiles. The Sassinian bombers began dropping their huge bombs, hundreds of them at once.

Sassinian shores

The soldiers were on the look out for enemy ships, and were on full alert.

Then..

*BOOOOOM*

A cruise missile crashed into a camp, and it exploded. 40 men were killed. The alarms were set off, and the anti-ballistics were launched, destroying the rest of the enemy missiles, except another one which crashed into a civilian building, killing hundreds of innocent women and children. This shocked the soldiers, whose relatives were staying there. They were now in rage, and the defensive fleet began sailing towards the Allanean fleet, to avenge the death of the Sassinian people.

2 Birmingham-class destroyers, 1 Churchill-class aircraft carrier 3 Acacia-class Hayabusan attack submarines that were near the combat area of the combined CoM and Sassinian fleets had recieved word from the High Lord Commanders that they were to engage Sassinia and Sassinian fleets, with very specific instructions given as to what they were supposed to do.

The 1 of the large Birmingham-class destroyers were to move to assist the Allanean fleet, which had been engaging the Sassinians in a hard fought maval battle, and might need a helping hand.

2 of the Acacia-class attack submarines and the one Churchill-class aircraft were to move their way stealthily near Sassinian shores, but specifically out of range of FLIR detectors and major radar arrays that were placed along that line. The 2 subs would siege Sassinian coastal defenses and cities to weaken them up for a possible landing on the beaches of Sassinia in the future.

Aircraft would be deployed from the Churchill-class aircraft carrier to attack and neutralize key enemy assets near the coast, such has ammunition deposits, forward operation bases, radar arrays, anti air defenses, and supply convoys that would be moving along the Sassinian coastal line.

1 of the Acacia-class attack submarines was to remain in position to cover a possible retreat from the Hayabusan Royal Navy from a good range, making it easier for the ships involved to sustain less damage and regroup in a position where they could hold out defensively for a long time before getting support from another Hayabusan fleet.

Operation Shark Fin had begun once the Hayabusan navy had mobilized in the name of the Coalition of Monarchies. All ships were expected to reach their destinations within 48 hours.

The first squadron of the Gladoway fleet consisting of: 3 James Class Destroyers, 2 Aquas Class Frigates and a Molvani Class Carrier, cruse out of Gladoway Maritime Port into International Waters.

"Prepare Jets to scramble, Tower!" Flight Sergeant Ginny Poltov orders into a radio from her cabin aboard the HMNS Leipzig, Moonshine Squadron lined upon the carrier and prepared for takeoff

Encrypted Message from the Allanean fleet to all allied ships

Dear friends. Please share targeting data with us on all Sassinian vessels you spot. This will extend the range of allied cruise missile operations.

At the Allanean fleet

The Allaneans remained rather far away from the Sassinian shore, a distance of as far as 2,000 kilometers. As such it would take a while for the two fleets to close to an engagement range. Allanean aircraft carriers and other ships maneuvered in the sea, and the aircraft that protected them carried out routine patrols, trying to prevent enemy fleets from sneaking up on them.

Meanwhile, the fleet launched 100 more cruise missiles. This time, knowing the enemy's high rate of interception, all of them were aimed at the locations of the enemy's ABM launches, which had previously been spotted by satellite.

Engaged with the Sassinian Fleet
The Kinetic Bomb hit the NRS Apollo in the stern, totally blowing it off. Most of the crew was killed by the concussion, but the survivors made way for the closest ship, the NRS Jupiter. The Mars was damaged from the aerial attacks, but the fleet's anti-air barrage was keeping most of the enemy fighters at bay. The NR Naval Planes took some losses, with 7 downed, but the kept on fighting. The NR Fleet has made it to the Sassinian Fleet, and are firing the deck mounted batteries at the ships. The destroyers also fire anti-ship torpedoes.

Over the Sassinian City
The B-52 with the BLU-82 over the business district dropped first. Then the one over City Hall dropped its BLU-82 on City Hall. The other 8 dropped their full loads of incendiaries on other parts of the city. On of the fighter pilots is worried: This can't be right, where is the resistance? I don't like this...

The AINS Lucifer cut through the ocean with elegance. Its majestic beauty only magnifying with the large fleet behind it. High on the mast of the Inquisitor class battleship flew the Artitian Imperial Naval Flag and below it the flag of the Church of Satan; a Black Flag with an upside down red cross. Her Captain was a new one fresh out of the academy and nervous by being around a bunch of heretics. One of the radar operators broke Captain Frank Williamson from his trance and spoke with urgency.

"Cap'n enemy fleet is out there and our ally New Roma Republic is engaging enemy fleet and commencing bombing runs on Sassinian cities." the radar operator turned back to his monitor plotting coordinates to the N.R.R Fleet.

"Get me a connection to the captain of the N.R.R Fleet." Captain. Williamson headed towards his captains seat to reach his phone at a nod of the radio operator Williamson began to speak.

"This is the AINS Lucifer to Roman Alliance fleet, New Roma Republic. We are one thousand and four hundred and eighty five nautical miles from your current position, what is your situation." after he got off the phone he waited for his ally to respond. In the mean time he got on a different phone and got patched to the AINS Pegasus.

"Yes this is Captain Williamson of the Lucifer. Scramble fighters and hold defensive formation. Combat Readiness level one. Correct, understood. Will be looking for them in the sky." hanging up the phone Williamson looked out the window of the bridge and looked over the majestic bow of the ship. Its three batteries of three sixteen inch guns lying dormat for the time being waiting for the moment when they awake and spew fire towards the enemy. Williamson chuckled a little when he remembered when he saw the ship and her crew for the first time. It was like something out of a pirate movie. The ship had been painted black unlike the rest of the battleships. and the barrels of all of the guns on board had something painted on it. The most noticable one and the most offensive in Williamson's eyes was the middle battery's middle barrel. It had a painting of Satan facing the battery with his behind the end of the barrel where the shell came out. Williamson was most displeased with his new duty station;being brought up as a die hard Artitian Catholic. The first satanist William met was the Master Chief of the ship, a large muscular man covered from head to toe in tattoos, however he spoke respectfully.

Williamson chuckled even more as he saw the middle battery middle barrel. He was still very nervous being in command of a bunch of heretics, but the AINS Lucifer was the most decorated and prestigious ship in the whole entire Imperial Navy.

The Deutsch-Brittannian task force had slowed its advance, choosing to remain in international waters to minimise the chance of attack. Even Sassinia would not dare launch an assault for risk of many nations taking action against it. Naval Command had sent 200 Type 45 destroyers and a single Queen Elizabeth-class supercarrier to monitor Sassinia's ports for a potential invasion. HQ Army Command had sent 40 Black Watch Infiltration specialists and Air Command had insisted on sending 5 Eurofighter Typhoons to complement the Fleet Air Arm's aircraft.

"This is Rear-Admiral Amy Stark broadcasting to all ships. Drop anchor, we have reached the edge of international waters"
The Rear-Admiral put the microphone down and walked over to her desk to read a report from HQ Naval Command. She was flicking through the pages when there was a knock on her door.

"Enter" she said.

The door opened, and a man in his mid-twenties walked in.

"Ah, Commander Taylor, did you need something?"
Commander Taylor, the OC of the Black Watch specialists on board, saluted before he spoke.

"No Admiral, I came to tell you that BWIU3 is prepped and ready to go"

"Good, they have the all-clear, see to it that they are careful, a slip-up will have severe consequences"

"Yes Ma'am" he saluted again and left.
