Carlossian jet fighters and tanks continue to advance further northwards towards the Austzelandi rebel capital of Serkala. CPAC-AJs and Mig 29s of the Carlossian Airforcs resumed heavy bombardment of insurgents who have begun to foritfy themselves in territory they are rapidly losing. Heavy armour and infantry halting outside Vybor, awaiting until the all clear is given to advance. The Carlossian Armed Forces are also working with the militaries of the Emmerian Republic, who two days ago aided in the capture of Vybor.

Cruise missiles continue to be launched into Northern Austzeland, targeted at Columbionite installations which have begun setting up there. Reports are unclear whether any casualties have been inflicted.

Malian stood in the Aesir's command room, waiting impassively for the final-all clear to be sent. She wasn't one for ceremony. As soon as she heard the signal she looked directly at her communications officer and said a short sentence:

"Start the attack."

Within moments the order had been relayed across secure channels to all Valaran and allied forces in range. The fleet would be the first to respond. Having spent several hours preparing the launch launch, pinpointing enemy coastal positions, the missiles were already targeted and locked; they only waited for the order. And now that had been given, they attacked.

56 cruise missiles were launched in the first volley, and their contrails stretched into the sky. however it was only seconds before the automatic loading systems launched a second volley, and then a third. Smaller escorts would then close to within 2 miles of the shore, and their 60 mm guns began strafing coastal positions to provide an unrelenting barrage to complement the ranged interdiction strikes.

This storm of firepower would then be considerably magnified by the airforce. The three squadrons of F35s, 36 planes in all, had been refueled and were now ready to strike once again. They were to work with Predator drones already in the sky to bring down enemy remaining AA before it could retaliate. They would then turn their attention to all hostile forces within 5 miles of designated landing zones, focusing their payloads on armored columns and artillery. The Valaran's were also using their own jammers and the electronic warfare of the EA6s to maximum effect, while the F22s were also in the air hunting for any possible response by the enemy airforces.


The aerial assault, and the ospreys before launch

The first stage of landing the troops would then commence. It would be initiated by 30 Hydra helicopters, recently bought from Ceneria and launched form the attack carrier. This was to be their first combat test Once the AA had been knocked out, these would be sent in to secure the second landing zone. Each carried eleven soldiers who would disembark quickly and set up a perimeter. Once the site had been cleared, and before any counterattack can be launched a further 850 VRF soldiers would then be landed by 30 Ospreys (refueled in flight). Finally, the main assault force (5,000) would arrive via hovercraft and C130s on temporary landing strips.This would be the actual assault force, designed to secure the beach so that heavier equipment could be dispatched.

It was undoubtedly a complicated plan, with numerous interlocking components that had short timeframes to operate in. It would test the VRF's ability to maintain cohesion and coordination under pressure. However, Malian was proud of her troops; they would not fail her.

Over 300 QA-10 drones, 28 B-1 Lancers, and 250 F-22As are preparing to take off from Iyui International Airport towards the battlefronts in Zavodsk and Serkala air campaign. The Emmerians are increasing mitary activities in North New Austezland by sending in 2nd Division towards Borisgrad and the number #rd Infantry Division and the 1st Marine Division take the city of Serkala.

The 5th Imperial Peacekeeping division, Air has engaged republican planes in battle over the city as a combination of Imperial Army and supplied rebel fighters have regained air control over key areas, However the losses on the Escanthean side were significant, although the Emperor has refused to allow pictures to be shown of the carnage. The 5th Army continues to push through several poorly defended recent republican gains as it slowly moves otwards the capital with an increasing number of locals being hired to join the force.

Emmerian M-1 Abrams began extraction airdrop for the counter-offensive.

With the Fourtese withdrawal complete, the Emmerians can now began the counter-offensive in the North to take complete control of the lost territory. However, the Emmerian Congressmen back in the homeland aren't willing to believed that the Fourtese have withdraw after their false withdrawal announcement. The Badger Battalion starts moving north to take complete control of e northern western sector of New Austezland. The Ultra-nationalist aren't plan on giving up without the fight as of result, the Emmerians are taking the offensive to them as Badger Battalion.

Ultra-nationalist fires their anti-air as the Globemasters takes hits up close, damaging the engines and the tanks inside. When hit, the Emmerians immediately drop off the tanks and they will have to be airdropped in whatever height they are on. As Badger Battalion gets airdropped, the 1st Infantry Division advances to where Badger Battalion was airdropped to began their counter affensive

IFC ANNOUNCES STRONG SANCTIONS AGAINST COLUMBION AND DISTRICT XIV

After a quick vote in the IFC Counci, the IFC approved strong political and economic sanctions against all the parties that have been attacking fellow IFC Ally, New Austzeland. President Albanov of Bratislav commended the sanctions and said that his Government was implementing the sanctions on all fronts against the hostile countries. He said that with these sanctions the countries that have sought to violate New Austzeland's sovereignty will be punished and internationally isolated.

This comes as heavy fighting continues against Nationalist Rebels and their backers in the North of the Country. Bratislavian Forces have pounded rebel areas with missiles and aerial attacks, while a ground assault is still on hold to determine the best way of attack. The Bratislavian Government has affirmed its strong support for New Austzeland and has said that it will use its political and diplomatic clout to bring about strong support for the allied country.

President Albanov in his statement also said that rogue countries like Columbion and District XIV should be internationally isolated as they remain erratic countries that are willing to destabilize sovereign countries and support terrorist elements. He has said that he will push for such countries to be labelled as 'State Sponsors of Terrorism'. President Albanov has also stated that he is willing to send up to 50,000 Bratislavian Ground troops given the right conditions on the ground. He has praised the IFC forces and the unity of the coalition forces defending New Austzeland. President Albanov ended his statement with a famous proverb: unity makes strength.

After a recent wave sent towards NA, the 2nd one is now going, this time on sea, as the Officials said.Larthinian president Colins Laekart said that ,,NA nationalists are heroes. They must have help from us. After they will win, NA will enter into a new, glorious era!.
Since then, a 2nd wave has been sent to help the brave nationalist rebels. As Officials said, president Colins is imposing tough sanctions on the nations assisting NA. President Colins, also exprimed his deep sadness that "Valaran, as part of STO, does not want to help Columbion and the nationalists". Also, Larthinian troops ar being deployed all over NA. Exchequer confirms that no Austzeland War Sanctions will be immediately enforced

Fourtese Forces in New Austzeland before their recent withdrawal

While war continues to rage in New Austzeland, the Ausitorian Exchequer has confirmed that it 'will not be implementing the International Freedom Coalition Resolution no. 16 any time soon' - which is conventional Ausitorian code for 'never'. The question of implementation has so far been referred to three executive committees, four government departments, three parliamentary committees, and six quangos; and one of the four overseeing committees have so far recommended that the implementation be considered by three further committees in a twelve step implementation process with fifty-three sub-steps and seven parliamentary discussions over a three year period.

This is, of course, in marked contrast with the Ausitorian decision to blockade Heilanor earlier on in the year, which apparently took three days to implement.

In light of this apparent stone-walling, the Ausitorian government has come under attack from the Opposition for even signing up to the Coalition in the first place, with the Leader of the Opposition asking 'how is Ausitoria's foreign policy served by pretending to pay lip-service to an organization which the government doesn't even agree with?' and backbenchers accusing the government of failing to intervene to support fellow liberals and end the conflict sooner. However, interest in the war among the public remains highly vague, with a straw poll by the Courante finding 83% of people unable to mention more than four participants in what is already a highly convoluted war. Vox Populi, an online debating chamber, voted the war 'not ours' by 82%-18%, suggesting that post-Heilanor intervention fatigue continues to run high.

The war, escalating when Ausitorian trading partners Columbion and Fourtese District intervened in support of nationalist uprisers in New Austzeland in their quest for a better and more inclusive government, has been somewhat simplistically labelled 'a war between dictators'. However nobody seems to be entirely sure what the war is really about, and with the Fourtese District withdrawal, the war is hoped to be near to closing, although heavy fighting has continued and the Ausitorian government is understood to have offered its continued diplomatic services to the countries in negotiating a quick end to the conflict.

Ausitoria's delay in implementing the sanctions has been echoed by Valaran, showing the apparent hollowness of Bratislav President Albanov's speech from the IFC Headquarters, where he stressed the supposed unity of the International Freedom Coalition.

Clearly he needs to make more of an effort to explain to the Ausitorian citizens what this war is about and why they should care about it.

Korongolese Bombers Return Home

The force of three hundred B-1B Lancer and B-2A Spirit strategic bombers, and their accompanying escorts, finally returned to their bases in New Korongo after a several hour long journey. The bombing operation focused in the north west of New Austzeland had been a success. The Fourtese Democratic Republic was, for now at least, out of the war and a large number of insurgent positons in the area had been destroyed. If that was not successful enough for the senior officers of the Royal Air Corps, few Korongolese aircraft had been shot down during the operation. The anti-aircraft fire which the Korongolese bomber force had encountered during their operation was largely ineffective as the force had been flying above the effective ceiling of the enemy anti-aircraft artillery. Three Lancer bombers, two Eurofighter Typhoons, and a single SF-27 Thunderstorm had been shot down by the hostile air defences. One of the Spirits and a another Thunderstorm had crashed on the journey home as a result of damage sustained in combat. Around forty other aircraft had suffered damage in varying degrees, but all of them managed to make it back to New Korongo safely. The crews of the Lancers, now back in New Korongo, had the opportunity to rest for as long as they pleased. The Royal Air Corps did not envision another large scale strategic bombing campaign at this stage as tactical aircraft were to take over most combat operations. The pilots of the Spirits, however, would only receive twenty four hours rest before they began another journey to New Austzeland. They would continue striking important strategic targets with guided munitions until further notice.

42nd Mechanised Division Joins Emmerian Counter-Offensive

As the Emmerian forces in New Austzeland began a counter-offensive in the north west, an armoured regiment and a motorised brigade of the 42nd Mechanised Division joined them. The other components of the division had either not arrived in New Austzeland yet, or were being held in reserve in case the Fourtese Democratic Republic re-entered the conflict. The two regiments could field around one thousand infantry, 45 BCV-96A Jaguar main battle tanks, RAV-14E Armadillo mobile gun systems, 135 BCV-98B Cougar tracked infantry fighting vehicles, 135 RAV-14A Cougar wheeled infantry fighting vehicles, 18 PzH 2000 self-propelled howitzers, and a number of support vehicles between them. It was not a large force, at least when it was compared to other deployed forces in New Austzeland, but it was a start. The soldiers of the 42nd Mechanised Division began pushing north alongside their Emmerian allies, and were carefully followed by a supply chain which stretched all the way back to the airbase at Stenhen. It was a reasonable distance, but nothing the Korongolese Army could not handle.

The push in the north west of New Austzeland was also supported by a force of forty FG-30A Hornet ground attack aircraft, twenty SF-27 Thunderstorm stealth fighters, an an E-3G Sentry airborne early warning aircraft. Once again, it was not much, but AUSTFOR was nowhere near its planned strength yet. The Hornets were tasked with providing close air support to allied forces in the vicinity of the counter-offensive. Each one was armed with, in addition to the standard two 25 millimetre autocannons, two IRIS-T short range air to air missiles, four AGM-65K Maverick air to ground missiles, two rocket pods with nineteen SNEB unguided rockets each, and four GBU-38 guided bombs. The Thunderstorms were armed with two IRIS-T missiles and five MBDA Meteor beyond visual range missiles. These aircraft would intercept hostile aircraft detected by the Sentry airborne early warning aircraft before they could attack the Hornets, or allied forces on the ground.

The 278th Provisional Task Force, which had been forming off the northern coast of New Korongo for quite some time, finally departed Korongolese territorial waters as they began their journey to the Fale Ocean. The force was composed of ten Nimitz class super carriers, six Invincible class light carriers, sixteen Apla class guided missile cruisers, forty Itut Hagin class guided missile destroyers, forty four Anzac class frigates, thirty two Astute class fleet submarines, six Ohio class ballistic missile submarines, and sixteen Sacramento class fast combat support ships. It would take quite some time for the 278th Provisional Task Force to reach the waters of New Austzeland, but it was hoped that it would provide a reasonable deterrent to further international support for the insurgent forces when combined with other allied naval fleets in the area when it did arrive.

Ardea, Ardoki - The Fourtese Federated Republics are a fascist country existing in the region of Atlas. For several weeks now, they have been supporting neo-nazi rebels in New Austzeland who are destabilising the legitimate government of New Austzeland. These neo-nazi terrorists (who have the support of the Fourtese) have committed countless acts of genocide (mainly amongst our Islami comrades) and intend to create a fascist dictatorship in New Austzeland. The Fourtese support these terrorists, so therefore according to logic, the Fourtese must also support neo-nazism and genocide. The actions of the Fourtese, against our ally New Austzeland, are only proof that the Fourtese are too dangerous to be left alone. Their government is incredibly hostile to New Austzeland, a fellow member of the IFC, and seeks its ultimate annihilation.

We are presented with two options. Either let it be, and suffer the consequences of its aggressive and destabilising actions. Or intervene, and put a more passive and democratic government in power. A government which would mind its own business, and stop trying to destroy New Austzeland, a noble ally.

Minister of the Exterior, Ríona Obrien, has something to say on this topic:

"The Fourtese Federated Republics are a threat to the entire world, and must be neutralised! They seek chaos, destruction, and fascism. Exact opposites of the Social Democratic Republic of Ardoki, which seeks order, equality, and liberty. Their hostile acts against New Austzeland cannot go unpunished, they must pay dearly for their crimes, and I shall make sure that happens, with interest! As I am a peaceful women, I offer a peaceful compromise. The Fourtese Federated Republics shall pay the Republic of New Austzeland a total of US$ 2 Trillion, as reparations for the damages and injustices they have caused.

If the Fourtese Federated Republics refuse this generous offer. The Social Democratic Republic of Ardoki, may force a regime change and enforce much harsher reparation payments."

The very merciful terms of the Ardokian government are the last chance we have for peace. However some have called the government a "Bunch of spineless cowards who are afraid of a little 'liberation' time!".
But nonetheless, peace is everyone's priority.

My forces have just initiated a naval and aerial bombardment of all rebel and Columbionite positions near the coast. This will be in advance of of a general landing of the Valaran expeditionary force, where I shall seek to establish a new front and advance on Serkala.

To make maximum use of this assault, I recommend that we coordinate any subsequent offensives we make, so that the rebels and their supporters will have to divide their forces or face being overrun. We could then gradually encircle Serkala, cutting off any retreat and breaking supply lines to the rebel capital.

Alternatively, once we have established a secure landing zone, any additional allied forces could join my own soldiers there, to make a joint push on Serkala.

I trust we can agree on a strategy to end this war quickly, and so await your responses.
