Announced the pretty female newscaster before continuing "Earlier today around 12:00 PM in Warsaw the nationally elected Executive Vladimir Tula gave a speech concerning the tense situation between the New American Commonwealth and the Confederate Commonwealth of America. Many political commentators have stated that the speech by President Constantine Maxovich of the NEO Rome Republic has prompted the Executive Council to have the Head of State give the Confederacy's official position on the situation in the North American continent. I'm being told that we're going to be showing you the speech given earlier today."

Suddenly the image changed to that of a podium inside Warsaw's executive building with various flags for Tula behind it. A middle-aged man with a military-style high and tight cut and in a dark suit approaches the podium and stops behind it as he looks to the gathered crowd of politicians, soldiers, press, and the common people of Tula.

He is silent and let's the pause grow pregnant before finally speaking in Russian, the most widely spoken language in the IST "Comrades of the Confederacy of Independent States of Tula, I am here to announce to you today that our grand nation has officially acknowledged the existence of the Confederate Commonwealth of America and that we happily welcome them to the international community as a fellow Confederacy. The Independent States of Tula is proud to see a nation that so gallantly listens to the demands of its people for Liberty and Justice and we would like to personally extend to the CCA our nation's promise of aid in its time of need whether it be materials, wealth, weaponry, or even Tulan soldiers in the event of an outbreak in hostilities perpetrated by the Tyrant of the NAC or his Sonacist allies. Furthermore the Independent States of Tula would like to state that we denounce the actions of the National Sonacist tyrant in New Washington who rather than answer the pleas of his 'people' with words like any civil leader instead opted to gun them down in cold blood as his answer of what type of leader he was. It should also be noted that the Confederacy wishes to extend to the NEO Rome Republic this warning, any military actions against the Confederate Commonwealth of America will be seen as military actions taken against the Confederacy of Independent States of Tula and will be acted upon as such.

"The cause of the CCA is a Just and Righteous one, when they attempted to peacefully leave the New American Commonwealth which under new leadership has spurned the people which it is supposed to represent, the Tyrant Neil Stephenson ordered the military to crush the CCA before it could even draw breath and spill even more bloodshed. Thankfully the sons and daughters of Liberty within the ranks of the NAC showed their defiance and marched under the banner of the CCA to preserve the liberty that the New American Commonwealth had once been known for. It is therefore the fault of the National Sonacist Tyrant for this tense situation, he was given multiple chances to resolve the situation peacefully but at each chance he spurned all that the NAC once stood for and choose to spill the blood of those who publicly opposed him. It is clear now to the world, to honest men around the world, who is to blame for this disastrous situation. Should we lay the blame at the feet of the victims who's blood was spilled for using their God-given right to question their government or should we lay it at the feet of the man who spilled the blood of those he was tasked to protect?

"The answer to that question is clear, and so to freedom loving people around the world I implore you to protest the continued injustice that is Neil Stephenson's reign in the NAC and to celebrate the heroic nature of the CCA. Together we must stand against the Tyrant and support the existence of the CCA which seeks only to have its people rule their own destinies and that of their nation. Remember Comrades, so long as we stand united against those that would steal their fellow man's Liberty and Equality we can never truly be defeated. And with that roaring applause from the gathered crowd erupts as Executive Vladimir Tula III leaves the podium.

However, The New American Commonwealth is a great ally to Scotatrova as well as one of it's largest trading partners and a fellow National Sonacist nation, so Scotaotrva will side with the N.A.C. in this war and also stands with NEO Rome Republic. Whatever the N.A.C. needs, Scotatrova will supply. The Independent States of Tula has stated that it will support the Confederated Commonwealth of America which does not sit well with me. The CIS Military command states that it will back the NAC with both supply and Military help to assist them in winning their Civil war.

Protests turn Violent in Baghdad

During a mostly peaceful anti-government demonstration in Baghdad, Riot Police fired into the crowd when protesters tried to storm the Sultan's palace in central Baghdad. By the time the riots ended, around 7:30 pm, around 4 protesters were killed and at least 100 wounded. Given the violence, extremists in the nation are now calling for the Sultan to step down from the throne. In response, the Minister for Interior, Fahd Ali Kemahli, signed order 1123, which now allows the Secret Police to arrest at will.

After the riots in Baghdad, the Sultan, Farouk VI, gave a speech to address the crisis at hand: "My friends, this is the crossroads of our nation. We have come a long way since the founding of our nation many years ago, do not let it crumble now. In this day and age, a strong government needs to quell revolutions, and the extremists in our nation are trying to get one to commence. If you listen to them, our nation will collapse into a shadow of it's former self. Choose the nation's fate wisely."

Our other top story for tonight is the civil unrest in the republic of Ostri where Riot police and pro-separatist protesters clashed earlier today. While Ostri is the smallest republic in the UIR it contains 3/4th of its oil and 2/3rd of its natural gas.....but the situation is calm since police and military force's have secured certain assets.

It has been confirmed by President Constantine Maxovich and Marshal John that NRR has indeed sent military forces to aid NAC in it's war with the rebels of CCA. 15,000 forces of the Army of the Sonacist Revolution have been sent to aid the NAC armed forces at the front-lines of the war and sent a few hundred military advisers from the elite Republican Guard to the capital to help with military plans and to establish a popular local militia in NAC to help them in the war. Recruitment stations have already been set up in the capital of D.C and more are set to follow other stations. The extent of how far military aid shall go to NAC is currently undetermined. With President Constantine Maxovich saying earlier today "The extent of our aid to NAC has not yet been determined. The extent will depend on how far the war shall go on and how much the CCA shall continue to carry out it's insurrection. But one thing is certain, NRR shall NOT give up on it's ally and will accept nothing less of an unconditional surrender by the rebels of CCA to their legitimate and sovereign government of NAC. President Neil Stephenson of NAC has our full and unconditional support." Marshal John had later said "The military situation for NAC looks good. They should have more than enough men and resources to put down the insurrection. With our help the process should be made even easier. But it is still too early at this time to make definite claims of victory."

the Protests Outside the Stockholm city hall escalated, when the protesters reached 700 in number. the Police tried to calm them down, but fighting stated, when a Radical protester threw a makeshift Molotov Cocktail at the police line, injuring 5 officers. the Riot police struck back as the protesters got even more violent. the clash in front of the city hall light up a storm when Rioters started attackign police and building all over the city. the rioters are around 2,000 in number, ranging from many of the protesters to even hoodlums and crooks that lived in stockholm, Stockholm Police are currently currently trying to scramble, now being otunumbered by the protesters.

International Address calls for ceasefire enforcement and peace conference to address growing violence and instability in the New American Commonwealth

In response to military actions taken in the New American Commonwealth and secessionist territories, as well as military aid reportedly being provided to both sides by their allies, the Vaelgracht Union has made calls for action to be taken in the prevention of increased hostilities.

An international address by Chairman Marek Vahldomshev has called for a deescalation of the conflict and the scaling back of promises of military support which may result in emboldening the NAC and the CCA to outright conflict. In addition, the speech by the Chairman included proposals for a demilitarized zone and a ceasefire agreements, as well as the creation of a international peacekeeping force and a peace conference between the two sides.

Controversy has arisen at home as preparatory legislation has been announced that will lead to an increase in resources and power for the military and the Vaelgracht International Intervention Force as they gear up for peacekeeping operations on a massive scale. Further outcry has been sparked by rather subtle riders in the legislation that would lead to an increase in funding and size for the Vaelgracht Defence Force and other military assets. Although many Vaelians feel that the current state of uncertainty and instability in the world today calls for such measures to be taken, multiple pacifist groups within Vaelgrachtmar society and government have been extremely outspoken against these actions being taken without due process and more solid justification.

Today on a MNIH (A prominent news broadcast for the region) broadcast, it was announced that Moorwhyne would be pulling out of any territories it had no land connections to. This came as a big shock to the international community as Moorwhyne had recently been going on a warpath through another island continent to reach an international Terrorist organization known as VDVS. After occupying nearly 4 whole countries, Moorwhyne was pressured into leaving the countries by the international community. This was considered a huge victory for the WA as it was already being pondered wither or not a WA coalition should be started against the warring nation. However in light of this incident current Moorwhyneic Head Elector Vidack Allër has said in a news interview with the WANN (World assembly new network)

It is suspected that the recent wars started by Moorwhyne are a direct result of the April 5th attacks on Aden, however there is a considerable group of Moorwhyneic political analysts that believe it was more then likely that the wars were started in a bid to allow the current Head Elector to complete his goals before his term of nearly 5 years is up.

The people voted for us, the people supported our cause, and in the end, we triumphed. The Social Democrats sold themselves to the Devil of Neoliberalism, leaving them helpless. But I, nay, we, the National Sonacists heard our workers' voice, voice of the common man, our nations voice, filled that void. Despite all odds, the people picked us in the end, after over a decade of struggle, a decade of difficulty, we pulled it off.

We not only went from being the Dominant party in the Republic, but we instituted the Revolution we promised, our corrective, Sonacist Revolution, creating this great society. A society based on the National Sonacist principles. We stood by the common man, the working man, stood by with unity and promise to our nation, with patriotism in our hearts and pride for our Fatherland. Knowing the Justice of our cause. We brought our Corrective Revolution upon the Reactionaries and Theocrats that sought to destroy us, casting those scheming serpents down. Now this country is ours. But not only that, we expanded our Revolution aboard, to extend our success to the common men of other nations. So that other nations may feel the Justice and Equality we've felt. It was a gradual process, but we managed to get it done. Our ideology has spread to 11 other nations aboard. 4 of which is it the ruling ideology in, 5 if you include us in that number. 5 out of 12, that's almost half the countries Sonacist parties reside in, where they're the ruling parties and Sonacism is the ruling ideology.

This shows not only the gradual growth of our cause. But the righteousness of our struggle. But of course, we must not only be wary of the enemy without, but the enemy within as well. We will always continue to fight the bourgeoisie Reactionaries and Theocrats, those who are against the common man. But we must also realize something; Just as the Right-wing replaced Aristocracy, Lassiez Faire for their failures with Neoliberalism, we are, the Sonacists, are to replace the failure of 20th century Marxism. We are the heirs of the 20th century left-wing, heirs to the Progressive movement, heirs to Socialism. We must also, therefore, throw down the Reactionaries of the Left. Those who seek to replicate the failure of Marxism, the failure of it's economic ideas and dogma, and replace it with a more pragmatic, clear, nationalist, progressive, revolutionary movement. One that realizes the mistakes of the old. The National Sonacist movement. Hence we are enemies of the old Communist cause. They have failed, to allow them to try again, would only lead to more genocide, gulags, in the hopes of the fairytale dream of a perfect society, where men become angels and can live without a State. Nonsense, utter nonsense!!!

We are the rightful leaders of the left-wing now, and we shall strike down this relic wherever we find it. Lest we allow it to devalue our own movement and bring about ruin by the fairy tale promise of Communism. Lest we let it destroy our national pride, culture, lives, and economy again. BREAKING NEWS: The National Assembly, the National Legislative body of NEO Rome Republic, has granted President Constantine Maxovich his requested Decree powers for his whole Presidential term. Decree Powers are defined as the powers granted to the President to be able to pass laws by decree, that would under normal circumstances require the legislatures approval. Such powers can be granted up to a whole term of 4 years to the President, if it is approved by a 2/3+ majority in the legislature. He cannot however use these powers to amend the Constitution nor pass any law that violates the Constitution. Such an action can result in the Judicial branch stripping his Decree powers from him and likely his dismissal from Presidency and arrest. Still, Decree powers provide immense power to the President and Executive Branch. President Constantine Maxovich has earlier in the week asked for Decree powers to be granted citing "The growing of 'International Right-wing enemies' and growing 'Anti-Sonacist sentiment' aboard as a threat to the 'National Sonacist Revolution' at home". That such times required the President to be able to act with speed to pass laws to combat both external and internal threats." The National Assembly voted on the Presidents proposal 338-12. Granting President Constantine Maxovich his requested Decree powers. The 12 who voted against it claimed that the "External and internal threats are too early to call and 4 years of Decree powers are too excessive and unnecessary." and that "More conclusive evidence is needed to prove the necessity of such measures".
