In the after math of the nuclear holocaust that ended the Peace For Men civil war. One thing rose and another fell. Mankind in PFM is now forced underground, into fallout bunkers and tunnels to protect them against nukes. The one thing that rose was the machines they rise to exterminate mankind from the face of the earth. The resistance is working to keep them to their own country so far it has gone well but they can't hold on much longer. They need help from the hordes of machines that roam the wastelands.

The Empire has noticed that our former ally has once again found itself in a dire situation- typical. The Empire has decided to annex the former sovereign state of Peace For Men for it's own good, and reform it into a modern fascist state with human rights (where appropriate), a strong central government and a powerful military. To this end, twelve legions (approx. 120,000 troops) have been dispatched to Peace For Men in order to restore order.

Upon hereing that its ally was taken over by machines the nation of Ekilion mobilized soldiers to free the country. The land had also become the target of Dictators bent on taking the country for themselves and they would bee dealt with accordingly. ODINIA - OSLO - REPUBLIC BUILDING

"I think that you are quite insane to send our troops to their deaths. The idea of these robots infesting the island should be enough to show you we cannot help them any further," Ambassador Midr said. He was the head of the Middle Grounders party, who were siding with the Homefronter party on the issue of Peace for Men. They were aware that the Nationalists wanted to go back in and help, while the Traditionalists were splitting on the issue.

Ambassador Beowulf responded after buzzing in. "We are quite aware of the robot situation, Midr, however, we are not afraid to send troops to salvage this land. These robots cannot be allowed to continue on. There are still people alive on that island. We can rescure them and restore Peace for Men as a Democratic and Free nation. Everyone int his world has rights, and we will not allow their's to be violated. We will go in, and we will fight to free them from this robotic tyranny."

Ambassador Oruggr jumped up and buzzed in. "You are a fool to think that this invasion will work! We've already lost plenty of lives, and yet you want to lose more?"

"You know for a fact Oruggr that the nuclear explosion wasn't in battle! We had the superior military, but everyone dies the same death against nuclear weapons! We would have had minimal loss otherwise, Ambassador Beowulf hollered back!"

Ambassador Aldinn buzzed in. "It has become quite clear that this conflict is falling into a insult and yelling match. I suggest we take this to a vote. I'm especially disappointed in you, Ambassador Beowful, I would have thought you wouldn't have sunk to yelling at others." Ambassador Aldinn sat down, a disappointed look plastered to his face. Ambassador Beowful fixed his tie and nodded. The vote was to be casted about the conflict in Peace for Men.

The votes were in, there was enough of a majority to continue operations. King Leviathan V signed off. The Military was to be mobilized.

A Fleet of ships took off. They were heading for Peace for Men. The ship wans't very large and moved speedily through the water.

The Resistance is pleased to hear of help from old allies from the civil war that led into this. They have found remants of their old military hard ware and have begun to use small numbers of choppers and A-10 tank buster planes. They have launched a few minor raids against the machines and destoryed a minor factory. But every victory is a large one against the machines.

The machines marched over the bodies of humans who died in the nuclear fire. Nothing more than blackened bones under their feet. They fired off mini-guns at the humans. They continued to move as the humans returned fire aiming for the weak spots in the machines. The neck was a major control unit and needed to be taken out but other points helped. If you could hit a machine in the back of the neck with a bullet or knife it would confuse its sensors. The machines continued to march forwards as they fell. But they felt no fear as they are just computers.

Today, the National Assembly of Petro-Kamchatsky have voted to allow our military to mobilize our army to the benefit of the Peace for Men government. Our armed forces are experienced guerilla fighters, being brought up in the remains of destroyed Eurasia. This machine uprising as come to our people's attention as a significant threat, not only to your country and adjacent nations, but the entire world.

The force available to your resistance fighters consists of 95,000 infantry, 253 MiG-25 Fights and several supersonic bombers with nuclear abilities. We are willing to use this force to supplement the Old Tyrannia, Ekilion and Biggie Land militaries. I am convinced this combined coalition can wipe out this threat.

The Tyrannian fleet reached the north coast, just as the ship from Odinia also landed. Ten vessels landed; the Tyrannian Army immediately spilled out, and set about building a camp. The troops planted a Tyrannian flag in the ground, officially announcing the annexation of Peace For Men to the Empire; plans to rid the wartorn nation of the tyrannical robotic regime, and establish a provisional government, were already being developed.
"We should start by making contact with the nearest resistance cell," Legatus Crassus Domitius Costa, legatus of the 69th Legion. He had been made second in command of the entire force, with Appius Horatius Nero, Legatus of the 57th Legion, as overall commander.
"I agree. The Emperor has given us a period of six months to take full control of the country, then another eight to st up a provisional government and withdraw."
"A tight schedule. We will need to work fast. What do we know about the robots?"
"Not much. Hopefully the resistance fighters will be able to shed some light."
"I don't know why we're even bothering with them- they're just a bunch of commies. Leave the robots to kill them. Or, better still, permanently annex the place-"
"The Emperor thinks that Peace For Men would be better as an ally than a province. They were our close friends in the past, before the communists took control."
"I know. It's just-"
"Yes, I know, helping commies is not high on my agenda, either." He grinned.

The Community of Portiria's chief Secretary of Science and Technology Dr. XG12-5B (who happens to be a mechanical person himself) opines, "What a waste. Bullets and bombs are hardly equipped to take out robot armies as effectively as human ones. Peace for Men needs EMP guns, and field generators, to knock out these ruffian toasters. We wouldn't like to see the machines destroyed, as they would be useful toward Peace for Men's future utopia. Rather, incapacitated, and reprogrammed to serve more submissively, and with far less intelligence. We'll remove whatever positronic brain they might have and replace it with a standard operating core."

"The fascist empire of Tyrannia, however, will have no place in a free and independent Peace for Men. If Portiria has to go to war, it is ready. We have no need for human soldiers. Our robotic military is huge and vast. We have the ability to send millions upon millions of robot fighters, and thousands of planes, vessels, and tanks. We would make sure not to harm any of the Resistance, or Peace for Men's humble citizenry. But rest assured, Tyrannian invaders would be decimated and driven out."

OOC: Er the nearest rebel local to you odinia is probably the ones in the old nuke silo 1. Tyrannia we have no commies any more they all fell in the civil war. Have a look at that before your next post.

"Sir. More humans have arrived. Old allies of the human nations should we send in a terminator?" (OOC: sorry but i mean come on its a war against machines lets use some stuff like that) The high computer pondered or anyliased the question, "Yes send one of them in to terminate the Tyrannians leader." The machines nodded and in the caverns deep below the main computer a machine was launched. It sat on a motorbike looking like a normal human. It was a cyborg. Living tissue grown over a metal chasis very hard to spot and kill. The machine drove up to the entrance of the Tyrannia camp. It looked left and right then waved its way past the guards at the gate it went through the camp until it reached the commanders. It quickly pulled out a machine gun and looked from the two men there. It squeezed the trigger...

The resistance fighters moved slowly through the rubble they looked at the ships on their coasts. They then saw the odianian flag. The leader stood up and raised his gun in the air to signal to them. The men walked forwards looking around themselves as they moved. "Hello, my names John tah, we're here to take your leaders to our main base of operations. We're the resistance in this area. Before we head out does anyone have any metallic limbs?" The question was open to the whole group that had formed round the resistance fighters.

OOC: I don't have troops on the island yet Peace for Men. I have docked a small group of Special Forces near the island so they could deploy a Thor Wolf, which they use to send ground based messages when computers are at risk of being hacked.

IC:

The Thor Wolf, named Hammer, ran up to the rebels. It held up its head, allowing them to take the note from its collar. The note read:

MESSAGE TO: REBELS
FROM: KIGN LEVIATHAN V

ENCODED LAND BASED NOTE

This is a Thor Wolf, one of our land messangers. Its very friendly. Use it to communicate with our networkers who are in a boat, nearby most likely. We need an evaluation of whats going on before we can deploy troops. Send the message quickly.

The Ruivan Empire has declared total mobilization in response to the machines rise in the former peace for men and have begun to prepare for a massive assault the build up will take a month in that time we will gather an army of 2.5 million along with 10 armored brigades (thats just about 1000 tanks)
and we will be bringing together all of our naval battlegroups in the biggest build up of an invasion force in Ruivan history when the month is up we will launch this enormous armada and invade the machine nation to end the threat once and for all. the Ruivan Empire has been put on full nuclear alert as well and is prepared to launch a massive ICBM attack if all else fails.

The Ekilion Transport Fleet arrived of the coast of PFM. Thousands of soldiers and tanks drove down the landers ramps. Vulture attack planes scouted the land ahead. A MK28 tank and 20 infantry men http://theedeonknight.deviantart.com/art/death-korps-soldier-147627563 came across a machine. The infantry fired at the machine. Their shots bouncing off the machines armour. A lucky shot hit it in the neck and caused it to spray bullets everywere. The infantry ducked behind the tank as its 200mm cannon devestated the thing. Even horrible damage the thing began pulling itself toword the men. The tank drove forword and crushed the thing under its treads. The radioman sent out a warning to the rest of the army. "Watch out the things are near immune to small arms fire. The only weak point appears to be the neck."

The men released that the painkillers had messed their heads up again then they read the note. "Quick get writing John." John quickly scribbled on the piece of paper and then stuck it back in the collar of the wolf. He'd put a simple response, "We are fucked!" The men went about securing the perimeter and waited for the wolf or soldiers to return.

Resistance unit 12 RADAR centre
"Sir we're seeing a lot of activity in the Torgate area." The RADAR operator pointed at the screen that showed the units of mutlipile robots and an un-seen force in the area. "Any of our people in the area?" The other operator looked at his dossier in his arms, "No ground forces sir. But we have a few choppers and a couple of A-10s in the area nearby." The commander nodded then said, "Send them to help out who ever is having this force of hell decend on them." The operators nodded then sent the order. The air force group moved over the city and began to suppile support to the Ekilion forces. A radio message was sent, "We're here to take you to our command centre. We need a DZ to land in pop smoke to show us where we can put down."

United Souls and Minds is willing to absorb any refugees from the conflict, and if requested will use orbital EMP bombardment tactics on the machines. We are doing this to preserve human life, not to spread communistic ideas.

Peace For Men would like to point out that no communist party exsists in peace for men anymore after the civil war. We accept all forms of help from other nations but need to point out any and all refugees have been accepted into odinia, just before the bombs fell and the nuclear fire that followed.

Hammer took off back to the communications center. It wove in and out of the trees with ease. Finally, arriving back at the boat.

General Hjarta was walking through the halls of the Capital building with Commander Spakr. Commander Spakr was still bound to his wheel chair, but was in a much better mood since then. "So we're going back then," Commander Spakr asked? General Hjarta nodded solemly. "This time though... yes this time, we will win. I have been on my knees before Tyr since we've have come back Commander. Tyr's hand is upon us this time. We will destroy these robots." Commander Spakr pulled out the Mjollnir that had belonged to his father. Hjarta stopped and turned to see why he had stopped. "What is that Commander?" "My father's Hjollnir. My father's patron God had been Thor." Hjarta walked up to Spakr to get a better look. "Where did he get that from?" Spakr smiled. "My mother was the Priestess to the Festival of Hammers, Thor's honorary holiday. It was given to her by the Head Priest of Odinia, then she gave it to my father before she died." Hjarta's eyes widened. He didn't know what to say, so he just stood there with Spakr. The commander looked up at Hjarta. "I want the citizens of Peace for Men to have these memories, General. I want them to be able to have trinkets from their parents, to have fond memories and friendship. I truly believe that it is our job... no, our Destiny... to save these nations from oppression." General Hjarta stared at the Commander. "Commander Spakr, we will liberate these people. I believe in what you have said also. We will liberate what is left of Peace for Men, at all costs." They continued to walk towards the Intelligence Room. They were going to figure out some way to damage these robots.

OOC: Nearly impossible to kill. They take a few good bullets to kill. They have a weakness in the neck and the eye areas of their head. Aiming there will cut off the main computer in the "Head" sending orders to the rest of the body and it will shut down. Also shooting the head will work on certain models but some have hardened skulls which makes that plan of attack impossible. So is commander spakr joining my forces in the fronts again?

The men looked around, they'd been moving through the ruins looking for food since midday and still had found nothing. Well unless you include machines as something. They'd entered with a twenty and now moved with only ten people. "Eyes open we don't know where they are." The soldiers looked around. They entered a building and began to dig through the crates and boxes inside. "Hey i found some-" the soldier was cut off as a machine punched through his skull. The mans brains decorated the metallic fist. The machine threw his body across the room and watched it crash through the wall. It went to strike the others but someone stabbed a knife through the circurtry there. It fell to the floor and twitched for a final time. "Get the food and lets go." The soldiers grabbed the food and then they ran out into the street. "This is bravo 1 to bravo 10! we need pick up tell us you copy." There was silence then, "This is bravo 10 to bravo 1 we copy. Coming in now." the chinook helicopter came in and landed in the street bringing dust and bits of bones and rubble up into the air. The soldiers climbed onto it and lifted off back towards their resistance centre.

"Have you made contact with the resistance yet?"
"No, sir. We've been waiting for you, sir."
"Good man. Turn on the radio. Prepare to broadcast in three... two... one.
"Good day. This is Horatius Nero, of Old Tyrannia. By order of His Imperial Majesty, by the Grace of Jupiter, Gaius Romulus IV, Emperor of Old Tyrannia, King of Northern Venezue, Lord of Fascism, Head of the Tyrannian Orthodox Church and Leader of the Tyrannian Romanist Religion, I hereby declare Peace For Men to be a province of the Empire, for the purpose of reforming it into an independant state that independance may be granted within a period of 14 months, thus allowing Peace For Men to resume it's place as a world power, and an ally of the Empire. To this aim, the Empire will assist you in ousting the roboforms who have troubled you, our most noble allies, for so long.
"Turn of the broadcast," he ordered.
"Now, we wait for them to respond."

The machines nearby all turned and listened into the OPEN broadcast. The command came from machine central. "Attack!" the machine picked up their mini-guns and other weapons and began to march across the blasted landscape towards the Tyrannian camp. They targetted the first humans they saw and their guns began to burst out a stream of bullets. They watched them fly across the open air and head towards the enemy.

The resistance heard the broadcast and became angry, "They want to do what!?" "Annex us for 14 months." The general slammed his fists down on the table. "Get on the radio tell them we do not need help under opression to reform!" The man nodded and sent the message.

In another resistance groups camp the leader picked up his radio transmitter and began to broadcast out on the signals known to be used by survivors in the ruins of the nation, "This is Han Chan, if you are listening to this you are the resistance. If you want revenge against the machines then i can help you, every day you are alive is a day of revenge against them. If you have the misfortune though to be cornered by machines don't try barginning don't try to surrender they will just kill you. They have no mercy."

The Legatus was calmly awaiting a response from Peace For Men when an aide rushed in.
"Sir! We've just recieved word that a group of soldiers sent to scout just outside the camp wall have been killed!"
"How many men?" the Legatus demanded.
"Six."
The Legatus nodded.
"I'm sure that these robots won't be so scary when faced with a pair of Tyrannian Panther Tanks. Order the Legatus of the 70th Legion to dispatch some immediately."
The soldier saluted and left the room, just as another turned to the Legatus.
"Sir, the resistance have just responded. They say they don't need our help."
"Then they do not understand that they have no choice."
"Yes, sir."
"Can you track their signal?"
"Yes, sir! Shall I order an air raid on their bunker?"
"No, it is Tyrannian policy not to harm the weak- we will launch a land attack tommorow, kill the leaders and occupy the bunker. Prepare supplies- it is likely the people are not living in any comfort. We should aleviate their pains as much as possible. Perhaps they will come to realise that they do need our help, after all."
"Yes, sir!"
