2) I mean, holy shit man. I'm not looking to have my main population center totally annihilated and I'm certainly not looking to get into a war with you over a siginificant, wide-spread biological weapon attack. Let's either tone it down or have some failures happen here 'coz I get the feeling I'm working with a hand tied behind my back here and it's NOT fun. I thought the point of this RP was stealth and intrigue, not wide-spread panic, chaos, and loss of life.
4) What is it with you people and trying to kill/maim the Guardia? Haha have you no shame? I mean, come on. One police fatality is too many in my book, but you're talking about killing hundreds if the Guardia HQ bombing goes down. Frankly, that's going to be unacceptable and I will RP as such.

I mostly agree with you, Ver.

1) While the F799 Syndicate would, if they are RPed with stats at or near that of the actual F799 nation, be a massively powerful criminal organization, I highly doubt Three would have full access to all the wealth and technology of it. Even if he did, it would be difficult if not impossible to get all or most of it into Verlorenen.

2) While it's possible that the little spider bots might only be concentrated in one location, they've been RPed like they're widespread; I would imagine there would be at least a few people who have seen them by now.

3) Indeed, I'm not really sure what all these terrorist attacks are supposed to achieve. It should be clear that if one attack isn't going to make the Guardia call off the hunters, two or three or ten won't either, if anything it would only steel their resolve. I'm also getting the sense that you, F799, aren't talking to Verlorenen about most (if not all) of this. You might want to get in contact with him/her/it -over posts in this thread, TG, AIM, MSN, e-mail, whatever- and see what's appropriate and what's not, and how far Ver is willing to go. Personally, if I were RPing and somebody set off bombs or whatever in one of my cities without my permission, I'd be pretty pissed.

4) While I can't fully sympathize (maybe because the two Guardia I've had any dealings with were complete jerks , and they are a private security force, basically mercenaries, hired by a police state) I can see where Ver is coming from. I'm not going to debate the logic of having a hunter incapacitate a couple of Guardia, but I think it's pretty safe to assume that the Guardia HQ is very heavily fortified and they would be aware of a potential attack from the sewers, especially if maintenance workers found all the droids down there.

So I suggest one of you get in contact with the other and talk it out, RP is all about cooperation and making a good story, it doesn't work if one of the players is running around blowing stuff up and killing people at whim without the OP's (or whoever happens to own the stuff that's getting blown up and the people who are getting killed) permission.

Sorry for the dilemmas guys, I got a bit carried away. And for that I take full responsibility and apologize. As per the plague and mining bombs, well those I think can be easily explained away as it is not the largest of shipments, were brought in low key in very small quantities via several different routes, and yeah. However, I did not explain (my bad) that I didn't want to plague the entire city, killing thousands and what not. I had, and this is my bad again, been thinking about having it cause widespread headaches, hiccups, or uncotrnollable laughing for periods of time-all in a very criminal but non-lethal way of Three telling the Guardia to back off.

To clarify the justification of said shipments (beings they are expsensive) to a seemingly smaller criminal within the Syndicate, I will just leave it at, Three is more than a simple Syndicate member/criminal, and that he does hold some power within the organization. Verlorenen, I explained more in my TG.

I hope this helps explain some stuff, and I will try not to get carried away in future posts.

ANd once again I apologize for not communicating fully with Verlorenen prior to taking some of my percieved actions.

The warehouse has lots of shelving, empty and a small office in one corner. That'll be all. There are a few empty boxes scattered about. In the office there will be a single desk, with a computer and chair. The computer's hard drive is missing, and there is a rug on the floor, attached to a doorway into the sewer. On the desk, there is a single shipping manifesto, denoting a variety of explosives and other unknown supplies from "Halfax Constructs of Mechis" to a Herman Knox, 122 Pine St Verlorenen City (if that address is alright with you)

They reproduce sexually, but as a science teacher (to be) my definition of "sexually" is not the "you stick that bit in there and then wriggle about a bit" sexually your thinking of

They swap genetic material via exchanging small samples of their cells by essentially handing it over with their tendrils (tentacles just being the trailing non-oving parts of their jellyfishiness). They then store it withen their sexual apparatus and then reproduce asexually by budding smaller jellyfish off themselves.

So it's sexual transferring of DNA, and then asexual reproduction, as a kind of backstory to the Phale A'Theins their genetics is incredibly simple aside from the brain and eyes and so they have a very advanced genetic modification industry; Bioshock plasmids are quite common where they're allowed.

So:

a question for all.

These bombs and airborn viruses that will be released relatively soon, need some parameters. Verlorenen has said no more than 15 for the effects, so basically one quick fell swoop of an extremely fast spreading type of attack (perhaps virus or plague is not the right word, but a gas attack of some sort) My question is this. What would you all, ya'll like to see as a result of said attack? I want it to be done in such a way to inspire fear in the people of Verlorenen, fear of Three and perhaps a willingness to listen to his demands (when made) and be moe than willing to consider them, with or without police pemission. The will of the people may be what saves Three from the executioner this time around. So, I was wondering what you all might like to have happen. As it is airborn I don't think it will harm the "jellyfish" people, but everybody else will most likely fall prey to it. Would something like widespread hiccups work? Not exactly fear inspiring but if people were to think about it, if Three could do that what else is he capable of? Or should we go with something more generic, like knock those it comes in conact with out cold for about 15 minutes?

Verlorenen any thoughts? I know out cold would cause widespread casualties as vehicles crashed and people keeled over on their stoves and what not, and I know you don't want a lot more death and destruction, but what about some sort of other annoying symptom?

How about a double whammy? A first wave of, say, 8 bombs releases a chemical which induces people to fall asleep for, say, 15 minutes. Whilst a good proportion of the city is out cold a second wave goes off of simple explosions blowing up specifically targetted gas pipes, a rather tall building, hospital ect.

Whilst everyones panicking about why half the cities asleep the rest will be blown away by explosions to which they cannot respond. Then the rest of the city wakes up to chaos, if that doesn't inspire fear I don't know what will! And you can do it so that not many people are killed. (So maybe not a hospital) but showing that you CAN do these things will be power in itself.

And no, the jellyfish won't be affected by any chemicals, but what are they in this grand event? Although I look forward to seeing Jardis knocked off his feet by a double whammy of it in the sewers.

There's a lot of things you can do with a biological attack, ranging from mildly irritating to debilitating or even lethal (though I know Ver has vetoed the latter). These includes agents which could cause any one or combination of the following:

Contraction of pupils, profuse salivation, convulsions, involuntary urination and/or defecation, blisters on exposed skin, blurred or dim vision, headaches, nausea, diarrhea, intense sweating, muscle spasms, seizures, loss of consciousness, rash, cough, shortness of breath, erratic behaviors, shared realistic and distinct hallucinations, disrobing and confusion, dry mouth and skin, internal bleeding and natural defense (nervous system) break down to allow exposure to other diseases.

However, I like 3rd Floor Flat's idea, it would sure scare the hell out of me!
