However, they were not all inactive. Meanwhile, her pilots were monitoring latest radar and radio intel, working out the positions of the enemy forces and the path they wanted to take.
OOC - please don't skip ahead to arriving at your navy, I want to finish this IC conversation first

The rebels are foreigners and members of the Mamluk class. They all work in the military or as civil servants, obviously they thought they were better off working for themselves. Their position is what has allowed them to cause so much trouble. As far as democracy, we do not have it, so that is not the problem" the Prince explained. "Thank you again for your help."
Meanwhile, a patrol greeted Captian Kholer and the rest of the Alderaan Special Forces. "You must come with us Captain, we will soon need to fight, and Prince Abdul wishes to speak with you before the battle" said the Patrol leader. Just then his radio squawked. "That is signal, we must go, double quick." With that the leader signalled to his men, and hurried off towards the complex, expecting the Alderaan troops to follow

IC - One of the guards moved to hit the Prince, but Takara snapped in Yngenious and he froze. She subdued the humour in her face, but her amused tone was unmistakeable.
"I am sorry, Prince Sami, but you must realise this battle is over before it began. Your armies were not ready, your generals not loyal. Your house will die out and be replaced. Such is the sad way of the world. Only by securing the people's love and adoration can you be safe, and fear and love are rarely combined."
The helicopter pilot responded, meanwhile, his accented English slow and careful just as he had to concentrate to understand the rebel voice on the radio.
"Roger that, will comply. We have a dozen neutral infantry aboard and a hostile VIP. Over."
The Huey headed towards the green smoke, circling once to check the landing zone was clear before coming to a stop on the desert sands. Luckily the wind was low so the chance of the ancient engines getting clogged. The rotors span to a stop and the .50cal on the door was not manned, though the compartment was full of soldiers. A figure was kicked out onto the sand, followed by two men armed only with P226 handguns, both of which were pointed at the prisoner, and the little group waited.

As I hope you are aware, Barsovichian troops have arrived as close as possible to your last know location, an elaborate complex in the desert, as dictated by our military intelligence. We urge you to make official contact with them in some way through radio transmission, or to send a message to myself to relay orders to them. We have landed troops on your shore, including armoured vehicles, primarily tanks. We are committed to freeing your nation from the grip of these rebels.
Sincerely yours,

You give us orders and threaten us with death, do you not know who we are? We are the Mamluks, by custom and ancient right, we obey the order of our sovereign and no one else. As for death, it is nothing to us. Besides the die is cast, and the Rubicon crossed. All those who follow me know this. We succeed or perish. Since our cause is just, we choice to succeed.
It is for our cause, that I ask you. Refrain from this quarrel that is not yours. You will only bring extra bloodshed, to yourselves and to the civilians of Naudin. Leave us in peace.

Naudin wrote:"The pleasure is all mine" Colonel Naji responded. "Naudin, has so many princes, although there are now less than there used to be, let me see if I can recall this Sami. As a Colonel, I have met most of them, at one time or another, but I can't always keep track of which one does what." He paused and turned his head to think. "I can't recall now, but a Prince is a Prince nonetheless. The real question is not who, but why. That is why do I have the honour of playing host to you and our illustrious prince? But before I forget my manners, how shall I call you?" As he was speaking, Naji studied the woman warrior in front of him, unsure what to make of her. Fighting females were the stuff of fiction to him, yet here in front of him appeared a lady in a military uniform, and apparently offering him help. He was sceptical and decided to guard himself against her charms. For he supposed her most likely tactic would be to seduce him. Still truth is stranger than fiction, and he waited her response.

They were not fit rulers, and so instead I have decided to assist the people of Naudin in establishing a new, modern state, by handing over the most senior surviving member of the royal house. At least, he was most senior at the desert palace from which we took him."
She was young, with dark hair and olive skin, but her eyes were tinted bottle green, hinting at a mixed genetic background, as all the other members of her unit were either fair-coloured, or dark of hair and eye. She stood with an arrogance that seemed to automatically confirm her rank.
