It was now July 30th, a few months had passed since the Mongolian invasian. Ever since June 8th both parties had been stuck in a deadly and bloody war without progress at the river Ur, also known as the ''Bloody Line''. Both parties made little progress, but also defeats here, keeping the frontline almost the same for all this time.
Due to the heavy losses and the Scandinavian barricade from the seas the Stenzan Economy had pretty much collapsed, someone had to do something. That's why, at July 30th 2014, two unarmed FAA/FGA-15 SuperWasp fighter jets, having droptanks under the hardpoints, took off from an airbase close to Reach and set course for both Scandinavia and Mongolia. As soon as they reached both the river Ur and the Scandinavian border they requested actual permission to cross the borders and land at an airport for a diplomatic mission.

President James Gaffney this morning announced to the people of Chesterville to avoid waterways and seas near Stacytopia. The Federal Chesterville Navy has been commanded to guard Chesterville peaceful (not military) ships outside the country itself. "We will make sure that the situation happening in Stacytopia will not claim any innocent Chestervillain lives", the president ensured the reporters present at the press conference.

The dreaded stalemate between the armies of Stenza and Mongolia had prolonged for days with neither side gaining an inch of territory. As a result, the Mongolian soldiers were battle hardened yet tired and sick of being behind the river. The original plan to cut a path through to Reach and end the war quickly had to be put aside as the Mongolian Army had to focus it's resources primarily on getting past the blood-soaked river. At the forward commander center for the Mongolian Army, several high ranking generals were preparing to launch a massive assault across the river, when suddenly, one of the radiomen picked up the message from the unarmed Stenzan aircraft.

"General Oyunchimeg! An unarmed Stenzan aircraft is requesting to enter Mongolian airspace for diplomatic talks! AA guns are standing by, what shall we do sir?"

The General paused. Unsure of what to make of it. He knew the Khan would've ordered the plane to be shot down, but he decided to humor the Capitalists.

"The Khan would want us to shoot them out of the sky, no doubt. But, let's humor them. Direct them to Karakorum and give them permission to land at Karakorum International Airport. Notify the airport and the Air Force, I and Prime Minister Ögedei shall take them to the safety of the Khan's Palace, with the Khan's personal guards to watch over us, and so they don't try anything, we'll deny them of any armed guardsmen or weapons. In the meantime, tell all forces to stand down and cease fire. Just make sure the Stenzans cease fire as well."

The radioman nodded, and responded to the Stenzan aircraft, informing them of the demands of no weapons and a mutual cease fire.

The Scandinavian blockade was highly effective in weakening the Stenzan economy, and if it were kept in place then the capitalists would surely be too weak to fight against the ComIntern. However, it would seem that the Stenzans were aware of that possibility, and they wished to prevent exactly that. Having no good reason to decline the Stenzans' diplomatic mission, the following message was relayed to the jet in Russian:

"You may proceed across the border. You will be escorted to Jensen Airbase near Copenhagen, and then you will be transfered to residential accomodations until you can be met by the party or parties deemed appropriate for this meeting.

Once you cross into Scandinavian airspace you are subject to Scandinavian laws. As counter-revolutionaries you must comply with the orders and requests given to you after arrival to ensure that all parties that will be involved will remain safe."

Both aircraft acknowledged the responses from the nations. In the Scandinavian case, the aircraft simply changed it's flight path to accomodate with the escort and continued it's journey to eventually land.

The aircraft approaching Mongolia replied with the message that the diplomatic document he was holding was already carrying a request to cease fire, and that so the cease fire will be in effect iimmediately. This aircraft changed it course to head towards Karakorum.

Around the frontline, Stenzan weapory stopped firing at the Mongolians.

As the Stenzans lowered their weapons, the Mongolians were ordered to do the same, and lowered their weapons while tending to their wounded.

Meanwhile, at Karakorum International Airport, Prime Minister Ögedei and General Oyunchimeg stood outside the hangar, surrounded by dozens of the Khan's personal guards, known as the 'People's Guards'. The People's Guards also functioned as the secret police, special forces, SWAT unit, and even an espionage organization, receiving some of the best combat training, armed and unarmed, in the world. The control tower gave the Stenzans permission to land, as the General and Prime Minister awaited the landing of the Stenzan aircraft.

And just to be on the safe side, of course, they brought with them 5 snipers and a T-72. Just in case.

As the aircraft got permission to land at Jensen Airbase, they began to land. Once landed, the two Scandinavian jets were taxied to a hangar to be refueled for their trip back to the blockade. The Stenzan jet was also taxied to a hangar, except in this hangar was Major Bendtsen, an officer at the base who knew Russian, even though he spoke it in his thick Danish accent. As workers attended the aircraft as best as they could, a ladder was rolled up to the side of the jet next to the cockpit so that the pilots could exit.

At Jensen Airbase, a short, blonde female stepped out, ''LT. P. ORTENA'' was written on black letters under the canopy. The woman had left her helmet in the airraft and took a small black suitcase with her. She looked around the hangar for any notable personnel, awaiting someone to approach her.

At Karakorum International Airport, the other aircraft gently touched the runway. This aircraft was carrying a more important pilot, ''LT.COL. A. MENDEV'' was written under this canopy, with six small mongolian flags under that. Mendev was a famed flying ace in Stenza. The craft proceeded towards the designated hangar, shut off it's engines and systems and opened up the canopy. Mendev took off his helmet, grabbed his own suitcase and awaited a staircase to be attached.

General Oyunchimeg signaled for the staircase to be attached to the door. Once it was, each of the 30 People's Guards stood at attention while clutching their SKS'. Meanwhile, the snipers, which had been set up on rooftops all across the airport to watch over the plane, readied their VSK-94's, as the lone T-72 positioned it's main gun at the cockpit of the aircraft. All of this, of course, was a precaution to make sure the Stenzans didn't try anything funny while in Mongolia.

The general stood staring at the door of the plane, smiling from cheek to cheek while Prime Minister Ögedei was less enthusiastic and looked ultimately disgusted at the sight of the aircraft.

"You should have shot them down, general. The Khan will hear about this."

The Prime Minister said in Mongolian, although the general completely ignored him, maintaining his fixation on the place, awaiting it's passengers to depart.

[Stenza]

Mendev climbed out of the small cockpit of the fighter jet, took his suitcase out and gently awaited someone to approach him.

Major Bendtsen approached Ortena and greeted her. He told Ortena to leave any weapons she had in the cockpit of her jet and to follow him. They would go to a room designated for investigating individuals deemed suspicious.

[Stenza]

Ortena started speaking Finnish, being from the Finnish-Stenzan border region herself.
"I have been given the strictest orders to get this briefcase's content to your political leader and return with a formal reply."

Bendtsen looked quite confused. He knew Danish, Icelandic, and Russian; not Finnish. In all three languages, hoping that she knew at least one of them, he asked her, "Excuse me, but what was it that you said?"

[Stenza]

She replied, in Russian. ''Oh, my fault... I thought you would speak Finnish.'' She then repeated the words she said before.
"I have been given the strictest orders to get this briefcase's content to your political leader and return with a formal reply."

[Dayaar Mongol]

"Welcome, Stenzan."

General Oyunchimeg said in Russian as he and Prime Minister Ögedei approached Mendev. The latter was a short, old man with a grumpy expression and a small mustache, while the latter was a tall, clean-shaven man in his late 30s, with a big smile on his face.

"You should consider yourself lucky, had the Khan been here he would've ordered you to be shot down. Thought I am a fan of comedy, so let's hear what humorous requests you have to spin for us. Let us hear what you're offering for peace before the Khan finds out what we're doing and has us both shot."

[Stenza]

Mendev examined both men before speaking.
''I have, in this suitcase, a formal request for your political leader or a representative to come to Scandinavia to discuss a possible treaty. We are asking the same to the Scandinavians at this very moment. I would appreceate a formal respose to this request to return home with.''

[Forenet Skandinavien]

"Reasonable to assume, if we were in Finland. However, we're just outside of Copenhagen, which is in Denmark," replied Bendtsen in Russian. "As for your mission, come with me."

Bendtsen started walking out of the hangar.

[Stenza]

Ortena did not talk during the following walk, she didn't feel like she had to, this wasn't a leisure trip anyways.

[Dayaar Mongol]

The general and prime minister conversed in Mongolian for several moments, with the prime minister being more irritated and aggressive with his tone of speech, obviously indicating hostility in the conversation. The general finally waved his hands signalling the discussion was over, the distraught prime minister merely pouted and looked away with his arms crossed, while the general returned his gaze to Mendev, restoring his smile.

"Very well. We were hoping to discuss it here, but Scandinavia will be fine. The Khan himself is in Scandinavia, unable to return home for obvious reasons, and will gladly meet you there. Prime Minister Ögedei will accompany you, with several guards of course, to Copenhagen. In the meantime, I must return to the front to prepare for either a withdrawal or a re-engagement, depending on how your treaty goes. Knowing the Khan, we'll probably be at each others' throats again shortly."

Bendtsen led Ortena to another building, however he made the Stenzan wait outside. After a while he returned and said to Ortena, "Comrade Hansen will be arriving shortly in a helicopter at the helipads," walking off and expecting Ortena to follow.

[Stenza]

Ortena got up from the wall she was leaning against whilst waiting, stretching out a little before walking after Bendtsen.

In the meantime, Mendev replied to the general with the simple words.
''My jet cannot accomodate two crewmembers, I think the prime minister needs his own transportation.''

[Dayaar Mongol]

The general grumbled in response to Mendev's reply.

"Very well, then, Prime Minister Ögedei shall take a separate aircraft to Copenhagen."

As the general said this, he motioned towards the control tower. Several minutes later, the doors of one of the hangars opened, and out reeled a jet. The Prime Minister and 4 of his guards got in, as the two pilots inside prepared to launch the aircraft.

"Your message has been delivered, now please, leave."

Bendtsen then proceeded to take the briefcase from Ortena after stopping near the helipads. He handed it to one of the workers there and told him of its contents and of its destination. The worker then walked off with the briefcase. Returning to Ortena, Bendtsen said, "Your message has been delivered. A response will be sent to your government, and in the meantime you may leave." After that he walked off to resume his work.

In Mongolia, Mendev had one lest thing to say. ''We will inform your nation when Scandinavia is ready to host this.... Meeting.

Both pilots then went to their aircraft to fly home.
