Reason for Involvement: Everyone needs something is Roanapur. A gun, a lift to somewhere safe, a body to disappear... that's where good ol' Danny comes in. You tell him your problem, and he fixes it: that's why they call him a Fixer. Last poker game turn into a big bloody mess that even your gang wouldn't touch with a ten foot pole and hazmat gear? Danny can make the floor clean enough to eat off of; that's why they call him a Cleaner. He's a busy man,and he doesn't sleep much, but damned if he can't make troubling times vanish like morning's dew. He's far from untouchable, but the gangsters in the area tolerate him crossing
their turf and working for the other guys because they know that they might need him tomorrow, and offing him wouldn't solve as many problems as it would create... particularly when the other guys start asking tough questions about where the Cleaner got whacked. He's even done some work for the ol' Hotel in the past, but he keeps his mouth shut for fear of what the boss-lady will do.

Character name(s): Danny Nunya, Cleaner and Fixer, atcha service. Half Chinese, Half New York, 100% Professional. What kinda last name is Nunya? Nunya damn business.

Head of State: Prime Minister Churchill
Reason for Involvement: Australia has had a major problem with crime flowing out of Roanapur. Specifically guns. Due to this, Australia created a special unit, known as the Joint Attack Force (JAF), to combat the illegal gun trade. The unit is operated under the name of the Jefferson Bakery on the south side of the city. A total of 20 people know of this operation. There is a total of 10 Echo Force and 5 Federal Police Detectives in the city. All of those in the unit have had their identities locked in the databases. JAF also doesn't follow any state or federal laws regarding law enforcement.

The main character is Captain John Overton, a captain in the Echo Force and former Ranger. He is 5'10 with brownish red hair. He has served in multiple combat operations and has a vendetta against illegal arms traffickers: when he was deployed, his brother (a cop) was killed in the line of duty will trying to pursue gun runners. He is a hard charger and had been cited for bravery several times. He is the team leader.

Considering this takes place before Price of Redemption, it doesn't appear as though legitimate Gozen Shogunate enterprises or agencies would be involved.

I'm still looking into various yakuza activities to see how they might get a piece of the Roanapur pie. Considering the number of arms and drug dealers already around, I can't imagine them wanting to compete; competition can get....nasty. Instead, there appears to be a general lack of human traffickers. I'm considering that the bakufu yakuza involved in this thread are probably of that variety; I just need to work out other details.

From the looks of it, the yakuza group involved will probably not be that big. The big ones don't seem to dabble in the less savory stuff, in favor of more legal shenanigans. The smaller ones seem to be far more willing to do dirty work.
