"I'll see you at the Inauguration Ball" said Garcia, patting Estrada on the shoulder before exiting to his seat. "Sir, President Navarre and her congregation have been seated and the Chief Justice has also arrived, she's waiting for the go." said Chief of Staff, Jake Pollard. "Alright, let's do this" said Estrada as he began walking out towards the platform.

The crowds roared as people of all colors, of all states, of many nations, stood, bundled up in their coats and scarves, saw Estrada walk on the platform. He waved at the crowds as he walked, the Chief Justice put her bible forth as Estrada raised his right hand and swore the oath of office. After the swearing in, LeAnne Frost, great-granddaughter of Robert Frost, read the famous poem "The Commonwealth" before Estrada approached the podium.

The Naval forces move on to Eritrea where they find not only Pirate vessels but the single party governments own ships preparing to sortie out to attack them. The Eritrean forces open with a salvo of artillery fire which strikes one of the destroyers and hits one of the gun mounts on the battleship. The return fire from the battleship and Cruisers shatter the dozen or so combat vessels while the destroyers are able to deal with the pirate ships easily enough. The last few surviving Eritrean ships limp back towards their ports only to be destroyed as they try to withdraw.

Because of the actions of the local government a signal is sent to the LCACs in Yemen to begin crossing under naval escort. The rest of the day is spent moving troops from Yemen to Eritrea and naval bombardment of military positions in Eritrea. The news out of Djibouti has been good thus far. With the occasional Tritsuvian artillery strike the government forces were defeating most of the pirate forces including the reinforcements from Eritrea who were now trying to get back north before they were completely cut off from their homeland.

The Socialist Party would be making changes to the Federation as a whole with more representation for different parts states. One of the biggest changes the discovery of a large amount of oil around the Falklands islands which would be used to fuel the services around the Federation which would need oil to run, such as the armed forces, the department of energy and other important utilities. This would be a part of the recovery of public assets from the private sector which had been sold away under the Conservative Administration, polls had shown that the general populace were frustrated with the cost of living and prices being offered by private companies which had driven the Socialist Party to victory within the parliament. The party had promised that a nationalisation of important utilities would be happening, such as transport, energy and the justice department, this would hopefully lead to a economically successful period for the people of the Federation

In the distance a small black dot appears, it is was the Sparrow Transport which was carrying the Francis Sterling, President of the Triskelion Federation. The transport seemed to slow as the rotors of the plane raised upright to allow the vehicle to hover in the same spot. However with her party winning the election she had to carry out the role of a President. She smiled as she walked down the ramp and bowed slightly as she saw the Kaiser sat upon his majestic mount.

Yearly military exercise have begun near Northern Italy and Switzerland. With buildup in these regions expected throughout spring with Krolestwo and Treviso militaries; running a series of simulations and war games. Naval assets throughout the Atlantic, Mediterranean, and Indian ocean have also been mobilized. The Treviso 1st Grand fleet, stationed with patrolling the Mediterranean waters has been deployed to the central Med. sea, while other portions of it have been cast out to the Adriatic.

The Treviso 2nd fleet will be running operations off the coast of Morocco, practicing beach landings, among other sortie missions with Italian North African regiments. Previously, military exercises were planned in Libya. However, due to tensions with Tristu recently, these were moved to Morocco.

The N.S.O.T. has made a remarkable announcement. As of today, project Ceres is now going into effect. The possibility of asteroid mining is very real. Thanks to progress in rocket technology and robotics, countless rendezvous with near-Earth and main belt asteroids have been conducted. A wide range of metals and minerals – including gold, platinum, nickel, iron, zinc, antimony, copper, cobalt and phosphorus – are confirmed to exist in plentiful amounts. Treviso will be the forerunner of this industry within 10 years. Plans have been drafted with several private companies to being mass exploitation of near-Earth asteroids for mining should this mission go successful.

The rocket will be launched in southeastern Algeria next month. Containing 3 prototype probes to mine the surface of an asteroid.
