To all you may concern:
Hello, President of Lossesin. We are here to warn you something. We encourage you to stop invading Pantaira, or you will suffer the consecuences. You see, Lossesin has a 60,000 army. But Ryccia has 30 million on its army. We will invade Lossesin if you don't comply. But first, we want to talk. We will not send our army now, we will talk now. So please, to avoid bloodshed, retreat your forces from Pantaira, and we will go easy on you. Or else, you'll see what happens next.

Lossesin's actually got a 3 million strong army, and only 60,000 are invading. Im planning on increasing that number tomorrow though.

Operation Nightmare Fuel had been called off, the LRAF had advanced too far into Pantaira for the plan to still be relevant. Major General Kovek took a look at the most recent map of Pantaira, and it didn't look good. While they still had one major city, their manpower was surely minuscule compared to that of their oppressors. He devised a new plan, secure Svelyekburg until more forces could arrive. Kovek only had 18,000 marines at his disposal, a fraction of what the LRAF could bring if they really wanted to.

Operation Stonewall relied on several key elements. Firstly, he would send in 6,000 marines, alongside 30 M1A1 Abrams to the city. Intelligence had only gathered so much, but he would go under the assumption that the LRAF had superior air power for the time being. He would bring in 6 ADATS, as well as 4 AN/TWQ-1 Avengers, which hopefully should be enough to deter any aerial assault. 15 LAV-25s would also move in with the marines. Further back inside New Austzeland territory, 35 F/A-18 Hornets are on standby, along with 12 MQ-9 Reapers, and 10 AH-1Z Vipers. 25 MH-60 Seahawks are being used as auxiliary support for the advance into Pantaira.

The operation objective was to meet up with remaining PNA forces, and hold the city at all costs. 12,000 marines would be ready to move in at the drop of a hat should the situation turn more sour than it had already become.

At 12:45, Major General Kovek looked at his watch. At the age of 28, he was the youngest Major General in the NLDF, and was eager to prove himself. He had the honor of being in command of all forces in the area, and hoped he would not let high command down. "Commence Operation Stonewall!"
Note to self, pay attention to maps.

Huh. Weird. Well in RP terms, they have 2 million reserve troops and 1 million frontline troops. Aight?

Parliament of New Austzeland, 9:45 AM, Prime Minister's Office

"I'm sorry sir, but the PNA only have an estimated 1,000 strong military now, and the only major city they have left is Svelyekburg and the LRAF are closing in on them quickly. We seriously need to intervene now. We've already got a plan drawn up for whe-" Brigadier Isalav was cut off by Marr Loteo. "Look, I too understand the situation. I also understand that war may be inevitable at this point. But I'm just going to give them one final warning, and if they do not stop by 12:50 PM today? We'll go ahead with your plan. Sound good?" It was a little difficult to negotiate with Loteo sometimes, however in times like these there were rather limited options.

Isalav let out a short, but loud sigh and nodded in agreement. "Alright. Here's the plan. This will be called Operation Fairway." He said that as he rolled out a map of Pantaira. "In our territory, we will have artillery positions set up. Once we give them the go, they will engage their assigned targets as planned. We'll also be calling in some jets to conduct air strikes against more enemy targets. Hopefully, we will be able to slow down the LRAF forces marching towards Svelyekburg and deploy some Ground Forces troops to set up an FOB. However, on the coast of Pantaira, we will assign some New Austzeland Navy ships to guard the waters, and have some guided missile destroyers bombard targets with cruise missiles. That is phase one." Loteo didn't say much. Either way, Isalav continued speaking.

"Now, Phase Two. Although the bombardment will still go on, but not as much as before; the invasion will begin. About 76,000 Ground Forces soldiers, who we are naming Task Force Georgia, are going to attack the south, southwest and western parts of Panthera alongside other Coalition forces. Meanwhile, after the bombardment of any defensive positions around the Podagorsk peninsula; about 4,500 New Austzeland Marine Corps soldiers will land on the Podagorsk peninsula and set up a beachhead. Hopefully we can use that area as an operations base and have some NAGF soldiers transported there, and take the southern parts of Pantaira. Then we can box in the remaining LRAF forces and kick them out for good. I do expect this operation to take about, ehhhh... maybe 15 days or so? I can't say for sure, but that's just my guess."

Loteo sat in silence for a couple seconds, and then gave his thoughts. "It does sound like a good plan. I will notify all Coalition nations of our plans so that they can make preparations for deployment." Isalav was relieved. "Yes sir. Thank you for understanding my thoughts on what should be done." With that, Isalav left the room and walked down the hallway."

Greetings.
For about two days now, Lossesin has ignored all of our demands to withdraw their soldiers. We've attempted to force them into giving in, to no avail. Unfortunately, this means war may be on the horizon. What we would like to ask is that everyone readies their forces for very possible deployment soon. It could even be today that we deploy, but it is not likely. We hope you do understand our decisions. If you would like the plan for how we will invade or if you have any other questions, do not hesitate to ask. If you are going to help us in our operation, which we are dubbing Operation Fairway, please do send us an ORBAT right away. Thank you for taking your time to read this.
~Marr Loteo, Prime Minister of New Austzeland

Libralis go ahead and edit your post. I was wondering why you were sending all your forces into occupied territory anyways :p

All other squadrons, North and South! Now!". "Yes, General!". The Ryccian Squadrons were about 10 squadrons, with 10,000 troops each. These huge squadrons divided themselves as Batallions directed by Commanders. The batallions were divided into orders, commanded by Seargents and the orders were divided into groups, commanded by Colonels. The groups, as divisions of an order were never too far of each group since they attacked the same place, but separately in the area. The west squadrons were actually in the area of Svelyekburg, since Pantaira was almost completely occupied.

Prezident Valentin Zharkov sat in his office in his grand Prezidential Palace awaiting the latest updates from Marr Loteo. He swung around in his leather chair and admired the grand architecture and watched the sunlight beam off and around the shiny marble tiles, he then watched the grand mahogany doors standing 15 feet tall in total coming to the point of the arch. He pulled his chair up to the desk and turned his attention to his laptop, he realised that he has received a message from Marr Loteo telling him that combat would soon be required. He immediately fast-forwarded the message to the Commander over at New Austzeland whom would ready the troops for mobilization, he also decided to name the Task Force, "Ekkoh'. With that message sent he resumed his usual duties of filling out paperwork and occasionally taking a break and drifting off into his own little world and admiring the architecture. He knew that the Commander would know exactly what to do, it was very unusual for the Commander to request further assistance as this specific Commander was experienced, he's been in almost every single situation possible. This man was also very trusted, he was permitted to call in any further force to join TF Ekkoh in the war. Heck, the whole military was almost at his command; not that he would actually use it..

Over on the ship the commander entered the flagship's bridge and picked up the radio, the transmission immediately begun and he spoke with great confidence, "Everyone, ensure that you are ready to unload the equipment and vehicles, everything given to us for this operation. We and the Marines have been brought together and named Task Force Ekkoh. Although you are all experienced, I would like to take this time to tell you all that you must understand that you could be blown to pieces at the very moment that we dock, so be ready." he put down the radio, firmly placing it into it's slot. The transmission ended. Everyone ran to vehicle decks on each of the ship's, every one of the 50,000 soldiers were storming around and getting the 1,000 MBT's and 10,000 Armoured Jeep's ready for unloading. The revving of the engine's echoed around the ships, they were sat in the vehicle's for around ten minutes before they received this message from the Commander, "Okay everyone, the ramp's are open and you are free to unload your vehicles. No matter how stuck up they can be, don't fuckin' roll over the marines. We need them too.." the transmission ended and the ramps opened up, daylight shone through and they began unloading the vehicles onto the solid land.

Soon after they had docked up in the Southern and secure part of New Austzeland the soldiers either took a seat in the Armoured Jeep's or an MBT and were told that they would soon, after permission was gained they would be rolling up to barely held Svelyekburg and possibly meet up with foreign, friendly military forces and probably begin the resistance from there. The Commander got onto his laptop and gained stable and secure internet access to send a message to the Prime Minister of New Austzeland whilst Task Force Ekkoh sat patiently in their vehicles waiting to move out. They Chinook's would stay in their current positions and carry the Marines up to Svelyekburg too, granted they were given permission. Meanwhile, the ships set off after there was a quick check to ensure everything was in order and all equipment was unloaded. They then set off for mainland Syadei once again, always expecting to return.

Greeting Prime Minister, I am contacting you from your lower ports in your current secure lands. We have just docked in one of your Southern Ports and unloaded all 50,000 soldiers, 1,000 MBT's and 10,00 Armoured Jeep's. Along with the Marines of which sit in their Chinook's awaiting permission too. We are requesting permission to move the aircraft and vehicles up to Svelyekburg in order to ready for the resistance, with this I am also going to send you a map of your general region showing our current location and the route we plan to take. Syadec Forces shall not move until we have gained permission to move out.

Assuming New Austzeland allows me to attack the airport and godmod Pantaira's actions, this is my capture of the airport. I would have been happy to roleplay it out with New Austzeland, but the pace of the roleplay does not really allow it. If New Austzeland wants me to include anything that I have not, or anything else like that, he/she should feel free to let me know.

SVELYEKBURG INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, PANTAIRA
A lone cargo plane was making headway through some clouds when in the cockpit, which was occupied by two pilots in military uniform, the radio burst into life. “Air Traffic Control to unknown aircraft, come in unknown aircraft. I repeat, come in.”

One of the pilots replied “Air Traffic Control, this is Romeo Golf November One Niner, we are coming in for an emergency landing, clear the runway, I repeat, clear the runway!”

“Received Romeo Golf November One Niner. Out.”

Minutes later, the plane made touchdown in a questionable landing. Rescue services, at least what rescue services were left at Svelyekburg International Airport, approached the aircraft, expecting to give help where needed. It was too late by the time they realised that this was not an innocent cargo plane with mechanical faults.

30 highly-trained special forces from the 35 Intelligence Assault Commandos burst out the back of the plane once the ramp had been lowered. Armed with SA80s, they split into 3 distinct Sections (4 Section, 5 Section and 6 Section) and began to approach the airport's terminals, bypassing the confused rescue services that were beginning to evaporate from the runway.

Amid the chaos, the airport security took a unanimous decision to evacuate the airport, and someone tripped a fire alarm. 5 Section assaulted the Air Traffic Control tower, pushing past the flow of scared employees. Once in the tower area, they took a few people captive that were brave enough to fight back. It was at this point 5 Section came under enemy fire.

After taking cover, they determined that the fire was sparse and inaccurate, so they continued securing the tower, just keeping their heads down low.

4 Section had been dispatched to take out the known and possible locations of enemy resistance, especially at areas that were usually occupied by police or security personnel. Whilst approaching one of the several customs checkpoints, Delta Fireteam came under fire so the Fireteam commander, Lance Corporal Robertson, took appropriate measures and the enemy resistance was eliminated within a few minutes.

6 Section had been dispatched to oversee and encourage the evacuation of all citizens from the airport building. Once that had been overseen, perimeter security and sentries would be positioned to halt or check the advance of any reinforcements.

Once Delta Fireteam from 4 Section had finished their security sweep, they joined up with Delta Fireteam from 5 Section, who, under the joint command of Lance Corporal Robertson and Lance Corporal Finnigan, conducted a deliberate attack on the possible enemy position that fired on the ATC Tower.

They located the position, approached it and assaulted it, leaving 4 Section's Delta Fireteam as fire support. 5 Section's Delta Fireteam then split into pairs and fought through the enemy position which turned out to be an Pantairan artillery observation post.

In total, 14 airport employees were arrested before being sent away from the airport. 3 airport security officials were taken casualty, as were two artillery observers. All others were sent away from the airport. One soldier from 35 Intelligence Assault Commandos was injured and is being treated by a GIDF medic.

Once the airport had been mostly secured, a further force arrived via several more transport planes – 1200 Royal Goryevdren Marines as well as another 200 or so special forces from both the Goryevdre Islands Defence Force and the Royal Goryevdren Navy. The work of Operation Spearforce began, and a safe haven was going to be created – but not before all possible resistance had been annihilated from the area of and surrounding the airport.

Technically, the Goryevdre Islands had just committed an act of war against Pantaira, but as the Goryevdren government would say, 'desperate times call for desperate measures'. It will not be long before the Pantairans are thanking the Goryevdre Island's for it's work.

Greetings.
We here have heard of your request and we hereby grant permission for your for Ed to move to Svelyekburg. Although we advise you take great precautions due to the fact that some enemy forces have taken the airport nearby it, we hope your plan goes well and according to plan. Thank you for taking your time to read this.

Parliament of New Austzeland, 2:06 PM, Prime Minister's Office

A man in a black tuxedo suit opened the door to Loteo's office, and immediately began speaking. "Sir, I have two pieces of news for you. Both are quite serious." The expression on the Prime Minister's remained neutral. "Go on, Dolvetski. If one of the pieces is about Lossesin still refusing to back down, I already know about it." Dolvetski replied. "Oh, okay. One piece of news than. We've just received word that The Goryevdre Islands has attacked the Svelyekburg International Airport in Pantaira. According to various sources, an unknown number of GIDF soldiers attacked it by ambushing the forces, with a feigned emergency landing. This is quite serious, if you ask me sir." The expression on Loteo's face turned to a "I can't believe it" type of expression. He began speaking. "Damnit... Well, we're most likely going to be deploying our forces along with the Coalition tomorrow or maybe even today. For now, I'll just let them know that their actions haven't gone unnoticed. Sound good?" Dolvetski nodded in agreement, and then left the room. Loteo, quickly turning on the monitor for his computer, opened up a program and began typing.

OFFICIAL MESSAGE FROM PRIME MINISTER OF NEW AUSTZELAND, MARR LOTEO

Greetings.
Today I have news for the allies and friends of New Austzeland, Pantaira, and various other nations. The Goryevdre Islands, as most may know them, have attacked Pantaira and are assisting the Fascist Armed Republic of Lossesin. Currently, both our nation and Pantaira face serious threats from two nations. While the Lossessians have been terrorizing the citizens and nation of Pantaira, The Goryevdre Islands are currently assisting them. This, as you may assume, is absolutely unacceptable. We would officially like to heavily condemn the actions of supporting Fascism and rogue states and demand an explanation for The Goryevdre Islands' actions immediately. We ask that all Coalition members condemn the actions that have just happened very recently, and continue the pressure on the enemy. Thank you for reading, and long live New Austzeland and his allies!

President Rikkon paced in his office. Word had reached him about The Goryevdre Islands' takeover of an airport, an airport just a few kilometers away from where he just sent one third of his deployed armed forces. Condemning this action would surely put his marines at an even greater risk, however fear is not what should dictate his decisions here. Looking at the intel one final time, it was clear what he had to do. He made a promise that cowards would have no place in the situation room, and the president, for one, did not want to leave his own situation room.

The following message was relayed from the office of the president of Neo-Libralis:

"I am truly ashamed. When a nation's blood thirst becomes so great that they must kill those who are different than them, we all should be ashamed. The nation of Pantaira did nothing wrong, and now it looks as though it will be the center of a massive war. It's awful that one nation feels the need to attack another. It's worse when it attacks without reason, without provocation, without any remorse. However, I can not think of anything more despicable, than aiding a nation who commits these horrid acts. Which is why I, president of this great nation of Neo-Libralis, condemn the actions of The Goryevdre Islands, and will go further to declare that all ties, save for the negotiation of their standing down, are cut completely. The world needs those who fight for justice. Those who are willing to lay down their lives for the sake of others. The world does not need those who prey on the weak for personal gain."

The president sighed heavily as the camera turned off. "That was terrifying," he mumbled to himself. Looking up at one of his military advisers, he asked quietly, "Given the intel we have now, what would you say it'd take to take that airport back?"

Huh.

OOC: I already began attacking their forces. I launched an air assault against their forces in Lotre and Arnold and also bombarded them with Tomahawks.

With the Operation in full swing, drones bombing small armoured and infantry units and monitoring the major roads and Fighters and cruise missiles saturating the enemy's frontline units and command posts with fiery devastation, The Admiral looked onward and continued to coordinate the forces.
By this time into the attack, the first wave of fighters deployed were returning for more armaments and fuel while the secondary fighters where just reaching their intended targets.

The Destroyers and Cruisers were busy readying up another salvo of some 100 cruise missiles. Tactical Air units operating in the area and UAVs flying over Lossesin occupied areas had confirmed successful strikes against Lossesin forces, but until the After Action survey unit scavenged the area, the IAR forces continued firing at the Lossesin. During the second wave of Cruise Missile Strikes, a number of Pantairan FOBs which were under the threat of being overran or facing large numbers of mechanized forces were also supported along the Western side of the defencive perimeter.
A few HAH-215s even provided close fire support to Pantairan troops against tanks and infantry.

So far with the Operation now a few hours under way, the IAR had lost 4 Drones, 4 F-29s, and a pair of F-27s against enemy air defences. A few aircraft also reported minor to moderate damages sustained by enemy air defences and on the casualty side, two Imperial Navy pilots were confirmed killed and another 2 were being recovered by V-22s operating in the area. The other two are as of yet, still MIA.

Though the Admiral was content with the IAR operations against the enemy advance, he was still disappointed by the Pantairan reluctance to engage the enemy and reclaim their land. He didn't want the public back in Imperial America to think this was the IAR's war and wanted to make sure that despite their decisive actions, the Pantarians would save themselves. He had been keeping up to date with the deployments of coalition forces to the area and the numerous plans in the works by Coalition commanders, but he didn't see any of them put their plans into play and as such felt a bit hesitant and dissuaded about the fighting. Despite this lingering thought, he watched eagerly at the development of the situation and simultaneously held a conversation through four digital panels over windows of the bridge with other key IAR military officials who would help him during the Operations in Pantaira and would also help him navigate the slippery slope of IAR Politics.

Back on the front, the air assault continued. various checkpoints and defencive emplacements in the East were fired upon by laser guided thermo baric AGMs and Lessosin vehicles which raced through the streets and trekked through the forests were tracked by their radar and substantial heat signatures and fired upon by IAR Imperial Navy and Air Force attack fighters. Hell fires zipped across the skies and met intimately with the cold titanium and steel alloys of enemy tanks and APCs and armoured piercing rounds shredded through the "plywood" like armour of enemy forces as they were gunned at and cut down by the relentless and deafening sound of 30mm Auto cannons on attack helicopters.

The Adrmial wasn't sure of the exact extent of the damage inflicted upon the Lossesin forces, but from the mass amounts of gun cam feeds and kills confirmed echoed over the radio links of airmen, he was certain they had at least slowed down the invasion for the time being and Hopefully bout the Pantairans some vital time to prepare and make their own course of action.

NAGFB Wilshik, Near New Austzeland-Pantaira border, 9:11 PM

Most of the men in the base were preparing for very likely deployment to Pantaira tomorrow. While some were on the firing range making sure their marksmanship skills were ready and others were cleaning their rifles, some had already finished preparing. Although nobody was supposed to put their gear on right away, most people had loaded their magazines and put everything they would need in their tactical vests. Everyone that was going to the combat zone tomorrow was told that they could quite possibly be fighting in an airport, so a majority of the soldiers in the base had gone to practice some MOUT in the Urban Combat Environment Training Center located on the base.

Some were even talking to their family and friends over the telephone or Skype if they had a computer. It was nearly inevitable some men were going to get wounded, or even killed tomorrow. But all of this could not happen until Phase One was over, and some key enemy targets have been bombarded. Thankfully, that would be done quite soon.

Near New Austzeland-Pantaira border, 10:43 PM, Battery Echo

Along the grass field, there was a straight line of about six 152mm SpGH DANA Self-Propelled Artillery vehicles. Some small slight emplacements for defense in the unlikely event any enemy forces attacked were set up too, and a mid sized command bunker. Along the border there were even more batteries of artillery, consisting of DANAs, RM-70s, and 2S19 Mstas. Soon they would be firing at their assigned targets, ranging from defensive emplacements, FOBs, anything they could think of that had to do with military targets. Suddenly, a voice came up on all the crewmen's headsets. It was the commander of the battery, alerting everyone to prepare to fire. "Alright, everyone listen up. I sure as hell hope you guys have your targets selected and zeroed on, because we've just been given the go to begin engaging. Prepare to fire on my command." The engines of all the SPGs started up, as the crew of each of them prepared to fire once they were given the word. "Everyone, prepare to fire in five... four... three... two... one..." Everyone braced to fire at once. It for sure was not going to be loud, and it wasn't going to be that pretty on the receiving end of the steel rain that was about to rain down upon them. "FIRE!!" The gigantic orange flames from the SPGs firing their cannons lit up the night, and those for sure weren't the only rounds that were going to be fired.

ATTENTION ALL COALITION FORCES, PHASE ONE HAS COMMENCED!

All Coalition nations involved in this crisis, which has now escalated to war:
The time has come to punish Lossesin and The Goryevdre Islands for their actions. We encourage your armies to conduct artillery barrages and air strikes against enemy targets which may affect the upcoming Phase Two of our operation. But we highly reccomend you do NOT send any infantry or vehicles into combat yet, as it would be likely that they would be hit by friendly ordnance. We would like to wish all of your armies good luck, and we can assure you that Lossesin will be severely punished for their foolish actions.

To Marr Loteo, Prime Minister of New Austzeland
From: President Alan Jefferson

Greetings Prime Minister, it appears that you have gotten yourself into a situation that could have dire consequences. Our nation has fought in many wars before this, and has gotten a pretty bad view of how this could it up. Your country is going to war against an aggressor, an aggressor who has ended up invading another country who has done nothing. So, we have honor our treatys and pacts, and have followed in with another ally of ours to help aid yours. However, over wars that we have fought, we have wasted to many and so we refuse to allow our combat troops to be pulled into another bloodly conflict, that our men lives are not needed. While we respect those that have lost their lives so far in this conflict, there, currently, is no need to continue the loss of life. We ask that you try to settle this matter, peacefully.

However, I am a man of my word, and so we have sent the Deigan Coast Guard, along with the Naval Medical Corps (NMC) and the Naval Sea Hospital Transport (SHT, basically a hospital that floats). We do offer all allies of yours the treatment of injuried soldiers. We also offer rescue operations for all ally nations, both on land and water and the newly formed Religious Corps, soldiers who are priests that travel to the front lines to offer last rites to those fatelly injuried. We hope that our Peace Troops will see little combat, but if the time arrives, and fate plays the hand, then we switch to combat troops, and give 40,00 troops in aid. We, as a nation, however, hope not to see happen.

Ratou, Lossesinese occupied Pantaira...
A force of 60 jets began to bombard Ratou when they arrived. "Sir, the Air Force of Lossesin here is weak". "Roger that, that makes it easier to attack. Now the 6AS and FD7 Jets bombard the West of Ratou, the RTY4 Jets bombard the East, TR6328 Jets attack the Lossesin Air Force and the rest bombard the North and South. Got it?". "Yes, Aerial General!". "Good. Attack as ordered!".

Main Operating Base ‘Artemis’ - 125 Kilometres From The New Austzeland-Pantairan Border (4:50 PM)
“Welcome to New Austzeland, Sir!” Lieutenant George Mallard shouted to General Joe Holland who was walking to the terminal building of the airport from his personal Canadair CL-84 tiltwing aircraft. The immense noise created by turboprops and turbofan engines in the background meant that you had to shout to be heard. Supplies were still being flown in by the hour and more than two dozen C-17A Globemaster IIIs and C-130H Hercules airlifters were being unloaded on the apron of the airport. To add to the cacophony of sound, Buccaneer multirole fighters were flying overhead guarding the area from air attack and the vehicles on the other side of the terminal building could be heard arriving and leaving all the time. Main Operating Base ‘Artemis’ was a hive of activity, and it would likely remain that way until Lossesin forces were defeated in Pantaira. It was the nerve centre of Korongolese operations in the theatre, and was the headquarters of PANFOR.

“As much as I would like to participate in an exchange of greetings, there are more important matters at hand. Please direct me to the operations centre.” General Holland replied as he approached Lieutenant Mallard, he was close enough that he did not have to shout. Joint Forces Central Command wanted Korongolese forces to move in twenty four hours if a response was not received from the government of Lossesin, which meant that Holland had much to do in a short period of time. Mallard nodded in agreement, he knew how hectic the operations centre was before the beginning of a major operation from experience. He then extended his left arm towards the entrance to the terminal building. The operations centre had been set up in the main check-in area. Holland walked off in the direction indicated and Mallard followed him close behind. As they approached the terminal building, a group of guards standing on either side of the doors moved into a line blocking access to the building. They wore universal camouflage pattern uniforms and blue berets, and were armed with Sheffield-Oxford Mk. 18 assault rifles. Holland quickly recognised that they were Aviation Forces security personnel, and they rapidly noticed his rank insignia. The guards quickly stepped aside, they did not wish to confront a senior officer from the Ground Forces, and the two officers promptly entered the building.

When General Holland entered the building, he saw how busy it really was. The departures area was littered with supplies ranging from batteries for field radios to portable anti-aircraft weapons. Communications and power cables ran across the floor and enlisted personnel marched about making sure everything was in the right place. In one corner of the room, several diesel generators whirred providing additional power to the terminal building. “Sir, the operations centre is just up the escalators on the other side of this room.” Lieutenant Mallard as he and the General walked through the maze of equipment. When they reached the escalators, Holland discovered that they had been turned off. After a brisk climb, they reached the operations centre in the check-in area. It was no more organised than departures. One side of the room was occupied by a large projector screen which showed a map of New Austzeland, Pantaira, and the surrounding area. Rows of tables buckling under the weight of computers and communications had been set up, and junior officers rushed back and forth as information poured in from the units preparing to move against Lossesin forces.

“Thank you Lieutenant, you can return to your duties.” General Holland said as he turned and saluted Lieutenant Mallard, who returned the salute and then disappeared into the crowd of officers. Holland began walking over to the projector screen, hoping to find the senior officer in charge of the operations centre. As he got closer to the screen he saw Colonel Catherine Barnett standing in front of it, watching the small icons move about. “Catherine, I am glad to see you are in charge. What is the situation.” He said as he approached her. Holland had known Barnett since high school, and the two had fought together during the Second Korongolese Civil War.

Colonel Barnett glanced over in the direction of General Holland and said “Good to see you too Joe.” She then turned her focus back to the map displayed on the projector screen. “Most of our forces are ready to move as soon as the order as given. Our cruise missile and rocket artillery batteries are preparing to strike the enemy after sundown in a joint bombardment with New Austzeland forces. The Aviation Forces have also promised that they too are ready. It’s our ground troops that I am worried about. We have twelve hundred infantry fighting vehicles and three hundred tanks ready to move to the border as soon as the bombardment begins, but their supporting elements may be slower. The self-propelled howitzers haven’t even arrived in country yet and most of our engineering and scout elements are at half strength.” She explained. The logistical branch of the United Provinces Armed Forces was reasonably good by international standards, but it wasn’t good enough for the time allotted. The force allocated to PANFOR was almost five times larger than Korongolese expeditionary forces in the past.

“We will just have to make do with what we have. Our enemies have already had several days to dig in and prepare for our advance, if we wait any longer we will lose many good men on the field.” General Holland replied as he too looked up at the map displayed on the screen. Most of PANFOR was grouped around Main Operating Base Artemis, it would take several hours to get most of them to the border. He turned back to face Colonel Barnett again. “Take a break, you have been hard at work for quite some time by the looks of it. I will take over for now.” He said. Barnett smiled and then walked off. Holland looked back up to the map. ‘It is definitely going to be a long day.’ He thought to himself.

141st Artillery Battery, 18th Mechanised Battalion - Near The New Austzeland-Pantairan Border (10:49 PM)
“Colonel, the New Austzeland bombardment began seven minutes ago and General Holland has ordered all other batteries to commence firing on your order. All ten of our guns are loaded and aimed at the targets located via satellite reconnaissance. With respect, Sir, what are you waiting for?” Lieutenant Joseph Nash asked his commander desperately. The men and women of the gun battery, illuminated by powerful spotlights, sat at their guns doing nothing as they waited for the order to fire. In response to Nash’s question, Colonel Walter Davis simply looked down at his watch and observed as the seconds ticked by. More than a hundred Korongolese artillery weapons were waiting to fire, and Davis was holding them up. Nash was growing impatient. “Sir, if you do not give the order to fire, I will. Please, I do not want to undermine your authority but…” He managed to plead before he was interrupted as the second hand on Davis' watch passed '12'.

“Battery! Fire at will!” Colonel Davis shouted in the middle of Lieutenant Nash’s sentence. Moments later the ten M777 towed howitzers set up in a circle around the fire control centre opened fire. The ground shook as conventional high-explosive and guided SMArt 155mm ammunition shot up into the sky and across the border. The latter round was specifically designed to seek out and penetrate the weak top armour of enemy armoured vehicles. The muzzle flashes of the guns lit up the field in which the battery had set up four hours ago. Shell after shell was fired into the occupied areas of Pantaira, and soon nearby batteries joined in. Within ten minutes, a total of one hundred and forty M777 howitzers were firing in unison. Each gun had a sustained fire rate of two rounds per minutes, which meant that two hundred and eight rounds were landing on enemy targets each minute. The targets which the Korongolese artillery units were bombarding had been selected by the Unified Intelligence Service, who had been keeping close-watch on the events unfolding in Pantaira with reconnaissance satellites. The guns shelled any target which had been spotted within twenty kilometres of the border. After the tenth salvo was fired, Davis turned to face Nash. “You can’t just begin a bombardment at ten forty-three, it’s not the proper thing to do. There has to be a zero in there somewhere or it is just not noteworthy.” He said, explaining why he had delayed the bombardment.

Lieutenant Nash sighed, he had serious doubts about his commander. Then he heard a loud continuous roar overhead and looked up. He could see dozens of bright circles zipping across the sky towards the border. The Korongolese missile artillery units had begun their bombardment too. Spread among the howitzer batteries were a total of sixty M270 MLRS rocket artillery systems, and fifty six Gryphon transporter erector launchers were positioned around Main Operating Base Artemis. The missiles darting across the sky above Nash’s head were a combination of M30, M31, and BGM-109K Tomahawk missiles. The first two were launched by the M270 MLRS rocket artillery systems and had a range of approximately sixty kilometres. The M30 carried a total of 404 sub munitions which could blanket an area, while the M31 carried a single high explosive warhead which could decimate a target with ease. The BGM-109K cruise missile, launched by the Gryphon transport erector launchers, was an entirely different weapon. The Tomahawk K missile was essential a modified version of the Tomahawk G with a conventional warhead and had a long range of 2500 kilometres. Because of its range, the BGM-109Ks were being used to strike important targets across occupied Pantaira. These included airfields, bridges, and communications centres. The destruction of a single one would hinder the enemy’s ability to respond to the ground invasion by coalition forces.

Lieutenant Nash could not, however, see or hear the force of forty Type-20 Ghost tactical strike aircraft and eight SF-27 Thunderstorm stealth air superiority fighters proceeding towards the border at high speed over fifty kilometres to the north. The pilots of the Ghost strike aircraft had one main objective, neutralise the enemy air defences. To accomplish this, each Ghost was armed with a combination of AGM-88 anti-radiation missiles and GBU-31 guided bombs. They also carried two IRIS-T short range air to air missiles for self-defence. The Ghosts would approach their targets at low altitude, below the radar, and then unleash their weapons on the enemy. The AGM-88s would seek out and destroy hostile radars, while the GBU-31s would be used against surface-to-air missile and anti-aircraft gun emplacements. The Thunderstorms, armed with IRIS-T air-to-air missiles and MBDA Meteor beyond visual range missiles, would fly at a higher altitude and protect the Ghosts from air attack. The pilots of the Thunderstorms would attempt to engage any incoming aircraft at ranges in excess of forty kilometres.

Operation North Tide

Postby Imperial American Republics » Sun Apr 20, 2014 9:37 pm

As the Fighter and attack aircraft participating in Operation Hour Glass conducted their operations against enemy forces in Eastern Pantaira, IAR Field Commanders turned their eyes to the north of the country. They had figured that even though most of PAntaira had been taken by the enemy force, the enemy still needed ample supplies and stable transportation routes to move their forces and equipment through the north of the nation and that a sizeable and sustainable disruption in such a vital transit point would restrict the Lossesin's ability to function and hold vital areas in the north. Areas such as Kabado, Lotep, and the all important Capital City of Zakkob. By reclaiming such an area, it would not only undermine enenym forces in the south of Pantaira, but also stop the further influx of enemy forces southwards as the IAR Imperial Navy had so far held firm control over the Eastern sea ways.

Coordinating the operation were a group of senior naval officers and on a more sideline position, the Admiral of the fleet. The Admiral wanted to see what these new officers from the Academy could do and so far they never stopped to intrigue him with their intuitiveness and cunning battle planning. They figured that Splitting the Fleet into two separate forces and having Imperial Naval Mobility Command sustain operations for both carrier squadrons would allow for the IAR to curb the enemy's control in the area.

They estimated that they would need an additional 2 weeks worth of JP-8 jet fuel and an additional 8,500 tons of both "Smart" bombs and unguided inertia or "dumb" bombs. They also filed a request for the Admiral to secure the use of cluster munitions from Naval High Command. The main point was to disrupt and inhibit the enemy's northern occupation zone and allow for a potential allied or Pantairan counter offencive in the north. The Area would be surveyed by a team of 6- 8 drones operated from the carrier and in addition to monitor enemy forces and gathering data, they would conduct small strikes against armoured, command, and more importantly air defence assets in the area. They figured they would need 50 or so ground attack fighters and rather than relying solely on the F-29 which had its ups and downs, they would request for the more agile, smaller, and nimbler F-26 and begin the operation just after the Op. Hour Glass Bombings ceased.
Should this operation be approved, it would take some 2 weeks for the aircraft and all of the materials to arrive, but many in their circle were sure the operation would be a success.

Back in the skies over Pataira, IAR Military F-27s and F-29s continued to engage Lossesin ground and air targets. One Squadron of F-27s managed to spot and engage a small number of LRAF cargo planes before heading back to the Carrier force.

On the major roads between the cities of Zappado, Arnold, and Radovljica, IAR Imperial Navy F-29s managed to attack a few convoys of Lossesin forces. One pilot even confirmed downing a Lossesin transport helicopter.

Also just outside of Radovljica, a squadron of 4 Heavy attack helicopters recorded their attack against what they believed to be a small temporary enemy camp or check point. They suffered moderate small arms damage, but are certain to have caused "adequate" losses to the OPFOR and have recorded the destruction of 8 vehicles including 2 enemy tanks. UAV scans of the area following the attack haven't shown much of an enemy presence in the area, but a pair of UAVs are still being armed and ready to launch a potential attack on remaining Lossesin forces in the supposed camp area.

The enemy losses for the attacks are still be awaited. During one of the four strafe runs, some small arms fire managed to injure a pilot and cause moderate damage to his left wing, but he managed to return back to base.

At sea, the Destroyers, Cruisers, and Submarines that participated in the attack are silencing their guns for the moment and are under full alert for both air, land based, and sea threats. So far half of their cruise missile salvos have been spent and they are awaiting resupply. For now, the operation is mainly being conducted by aerial units.

FOB Lapis, which sat just outside of Svelyekburg, had an eerie silence to it, much different from the sound of artillery barrages and jets passing by around it.

Corporal Stevens walked along his post, his mind elsewhere. "Stevens! Hey Stevens! You seein' this shit?"

Snapping back to the present, Stevens turned to face a fellow marine, "Yes sir, it's a show."

"You bet, looks like the whole coalition is lighting up the bastards!" Sergeant Jensen laughed, swinging his M4A1 over his shoulder and lighting a cigarette.

"None of it is ours." Said Stevens, his mind wandering again. Jensen tossed him a quizzical look behind a puff of smoke. "I mean, everyone's bombarding the enemy, and none one Neo-Libralian bird is in the sky, and our artillery hasn't fired one shell. I'm just wondering why we're just sitting here with our thumbs up our asses, while everyone else is on the offensive, sir."

"Well we've all been told about the hold up, back on board the Trident, someone screwed up somewhere along the line, and there's some issues with our supply lines. Command told us to hold tight until everything is sorted out." Jensen took another puff, his face lighting up from a short flash in the distance.

"I can't help but wonder if we still haven't been given the go-ahead to fire. I mean, the president has been all ho-rah about not watching anymore, yet here we are, watching."

"Well Stevens, you might be right. But here's my thinking, there's thousands, maybe even millions of Lossessian troops out there. As the situation stands, I don't see many of the coalition on the ground around us, and we're in the only Pantaira territory left! They started this war to take the country, and we're in their way. Yea for now we aren't doing much, but sooner or later, that safety of yours is going to have to switch off."

"Maybe." The horizon lit up once more, as another jet finished it's bombing run.

I'm going to pretend that my forces are already Svelyekburg and that the sizes are different, I also have decided to change what I currently have in Svelyekburg, and prepared for this war. But I haven't bothered to list it, don't worry though I won't Regenerate numbers or Godmod. :P

At the moment I can't be fucked to do anything because Lossesin doesn't seem to be here, kinda boring really.

South Lossessin Sea, 40Km from Podagorsk

Almost immediately after Austzeland gave the go-ahead to commence operations, the 4th fleet maneuvered into striking positions. The fleet had finished planning Operation IRONCLAD and the plan was to soften up all hostile targets in and around the city of Podagorsk, after which it would liberate with a massive two pronged amphibious invasion. The city would serve as a staging ground for further reinforcements, which would help in the further liberation of the entire east coast.

The LCS Gladiator, An Emmanuel-Class Nuclear Aircraft Carrier, was teeming with activity as aircrew and airmen rushed across the deck to bring planes onto the flight deck. The planes where the third phase, but were being readied regardless in case Lossessin attempted an air assault on the fleet. The airplanes had also been loaded with propaganda leaflets, which would be dropped on the third phase to warm Pantairan Citizens of the massive liberation.

Finally, to commence the first-phase bombardment, scores of small recon drones had been deployed to identify strategic targets for bombardment around the city and surrounding countryside. All this critical information was relayed to the fleets targeting systems. After a prolonged wait, during which the strikes themselves were being formulated, the LCS Titanicus was eventually the first ship to fire. Officially bringing the Corporate Federation into the war.

Occupied PNA Airbase Trany, 8:40 AM, Western Pantaira

An entire line of about 5 Dassault Mirage III fighter jets and 10 F-15 Eagle air superiority fighters were taxiing down the runway of the once Pantairan held military airport and taking off one at a time, to counter the enemy aircraft that was currently bombarding their defenses. It surely had taken quite a while for the commanders of the LRAF to order as many pilots to scramble and counter the threats by any means necessary but they probably did take some time to plan. Although, it did seem like a lost cause now. They were outnumbered, outgunned, out-everything'd. Either way, most of the jets have taken off from the runway and were heading towards their targets now. There were three wings in the entire line of aircraft taking off, and each of them had an area assigned to them for scouting the area and engaging any hostiles they can find.

Imperial Presidential Mansion, Togozina, 9:12 AM

The office where the President of Lossesin, Adam Tretikik, was crowded with LRAF generals and officers. On Adam's desk was a map of western Pantaira, and one of the generals was speaking to Adam as he was pointing to the border between New Austzeland and Pantaira. The LRAF had certainly already taking tons of casualties, with about 648 KIA and hundreds, if not thousands of men wounded. Most of their defensive positions had been severely damaged too, impairing the defensive capability of the LRAF. "The enemy is bombarding our positions along a very wide front. We fear that today they will be deploying their forces to re-take the Svelyekburg International Airport, which is currently held by our allies in the GIDF. If they do take it, they will use it to push deep into territory currently held by our armies and possibly even Zakkob. They would most likely be attacking from the south and western fronts if they do reach it. We also believe there is an upcoming amphibious assault by a large IAR force on the south coast, mostly on Podagorsk." Adam almost immediately replied. "Hopefully an assault will stop their advance quickly if necessary." Almost everyone in the room agreed. An officer in front of Adam's desk spoke, an Air Force officer to be exact. "I have already ordered some F-15s and Mirages to take care of the aerial threat that is bombarding us right now. Hopefully we can put an end to their offensive quickly so that we will be able to annex Pantaira entirely."

FROM: Office of Markus Witten, President of the Republic of SJT
SUBJECT: Condemnation and Concern of Lossesian Actions, Notice of Arriving Military Aid
ENCRYPTION: Medium

Headquarters of Kapital Republik Velds

The Government and Military Force of the Republic of SJT would like to announce that we, along with the government of New Austzeland strongly condemn the recent military actions of Lossesin. The nation has absolutely no right of intervention to a neighbouring nation who has done them no harm or conflict. The world has been concerned about the growing force of Lossesin recently, namely their military power, but this action by them has taken a step too far. The Government of SJT, as a pacifist move, has attempted to negotiate with the Government of Lossesin to talk them into pulling their forces out of Pantaira, however, such talks have proved entirely unsuccessful. The recent contact between our government and theirs, though, has taught us one valuable lesson. Lossesin will be extremely stubborn in this case, and will, unfortunately, require the use of military force on them for the ceasing of actions. That being said, as trustworthy friends and allies of New Austzeland, SJT will deploy KRV troops, vehicles, and fighter jets to the area of conflict to aid and assist you in any way possible with the goal of reducing unacceptable Lossesinian actions. If you require anything else in terms of support or military aid, please to not hesitate to tell, we are all working towards this common goal.

Sincerely,

Markus Witten

Operation Hour Glass

After a 4 hour wind down period, IAR forces are departing from the carriers and are again heading towards targets surrounding the cities of Lotep, Zappado, and Radvljica.
The 20 aircraft, mostly F-29s, will be taking out remaining armoured and defencive units along the far east of Pantaira and using their anti radiation missiles, will take down what ever communications and radar air defence systems still remain in the area.
Drones are still covering the roads against enemy vehicles and other formations and monitoring the movement of Lossesin forces.

Back at sea, the fleet's air radar systems have detected the scrambling of enemy aircraft towards the major Coalition forces airport in the far west. Another enemy air unit has been detected heading towards IAR air units entering from the east of Lotep. The aircraft are still outside of range, but the 4 manned fighter formations break off and the more air to air combat oriented F-27s take to a much higher altitude of 34,000 ft, while the F-29s hover between 15,000 and 25,000 ft.
The F-27s split their load outs and arm their long range Electro- Optical Guided missiles while another pair are their Passive Anti Radar Homing missiles. The enemy is just a few kilometers still just outside of their
firing range, but they still watch vigilantly and pay attention to the feeds from IAR forces covering the enemy forces' approach.

While the F-27s stay vigilant and ready to engage the enemy air force, some of the F-29s already deploy their laser guided payloads on a few enemy troop and artillery positions and armoured units and make their way back to the carrier.

At the Carrier, The Admiral and his officers are discussing Operation North Tide and so far the Naval brass is impressed by the implications of such a successful and decisive operation. Though Cluster munitions will take some time to acquire, and more JP-8 is going towards naval fighter and support wings for their seasonal training; they agree to procure some 1,200 tons of cluster and guided munitions for the operation and have already given out the order for the 4th Fleet to deploy another supply shipment to the IAR naval forces operating outside of Pantair.

Back Home in the IAR and in select overseas bases, the Ground forces are awaiting the order to be deployed. After a few days of sizeable logistical work, the force has gathered 60% of the needed field personnel and 82% of the supply requirements for sustained operations. So far, some 15,000 troops are awaiting deployment and a massive joint Imperial Air Force and Navy effort is being undertaken to ensure the troops can be deployed in a timely and efficient manner. Additional forces are still being discussed and ground operations are being discussed by with the Brigadier General and his subordinates.

ATTENTION ALL COALITION NATIONS! PHASE ONE HAS ENDED. PHASE TWO HAS COMMENCED! PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING IF YOU WILL BE ASSISTING US WITH LAND FORCES:

Operation Fairway

Briefing: Operation Fairway will commence at 1900 CET with code Juleen, initiating an airborne and armored assault of the Svelyekburg Airport, recently captured by GIDF forces. This operation will involve Task Force Georgia and they will attack the airport, a small military base adjoined, protecting it; and then the nearby town of Gvozdno to assess the situation. This will allow all Coalition planes to establish supply routes and supply the first bridgehead.

Situation: The airfield is defended by a possible military base. An unknown number of enemy infantry, vehicles such as utility vehicles, armor, etc. and possibly even aircraft is to be expected. Some small militia units may emerge among civilians in the town of Gvozdno.

Mission: The primary objective is to seize the airfield and military base, neutralize all OPFOR units and avoid collateral damage. A possible defensive perimeter around the objective must be secured, if there is one. The overnight bombardments did not target the airport as much, but do expect some defensive positions nonetheless.

Execution: Start with code Juleen at 1900.
Secure the LZ (Landing Zone) perimeter and report after landing. Engage any contacts and move towards the base to gain control over the objective. Await further instructions as militia could pick up their guns and attack.

Support: Although some armored vehicles and MBTs will take down any hostile armor or other types of targets, there will be limited support for this mission as TF Georgia has not established a solid base yet.

NAFB Khelm, 4:25 PM, Task Force Georgia

Along the tarmac of the airfield just in front of various hangars, there were four Mi-17-1V transport helicopters being loaded up with soldiers in their full combat gear. Most of them were armed with the N4A2 Carbine rifle, some with M203 grenade launchers mounted on them. However there were some using the M60E4 GPMG, and some using the LSW Mare. Each squad had two Designated Marksmans, armed with a CXMR-40 DMR. In the distance there were two Mi-24V Hind attack/transport helicopters already heading towards the airfield; probably to do some scouting and take down some targets. They would wait up, and then join the Mi17s to protect their flight from any trouble makers. Hopefully, it wouldn't take awhile to arrive to the LZ, and take the airfield which they would use for a main operations base. There were also numerous reports that there may be SOF forces and some hostages, so two NADF S-GRU teams would arrive not long after the helicopters have landed.
