The Welch Pact

The Welch Pact, a Military, and to a lesser extent Economic, Alliance between an ally, right-wing and/or libertarian, or just nations looking for military support in warfare. You need help in a conflict? Having internal troubles? Want new trading partners? Then this is the pact to join.

Formally established on April 17th, 2014, The Welch Pact's origins began around the 6th, when Zanera, Darwin-Brentsylvania, and many more allies said they support a new group to hopefully grow into a major power. The formal meeting was held in Welch, Darwin-Brentsylvania. Welch is a huge shipping port where Darwin-Brentsylvania's Navy is based at, and it's location and places made it an ideal place for the pact.

Member nations are protected by each other member state, and if you fight an offensive war, the pact can vote to get involved or not. Each member promises to protect each other if one nation is invaded. We will urge our nations to stay united, and keep the pact strong.

Welch Free Trade Treaty

Welch Pact members who are up for being able to establish merchant ports, trading posts, or anything else involving economic ideals, then this is the application for you. However, this treaty follows a free trade, Laissez-Faire style, so socialist members may not find this as the right pact. Of course, socialist nations can join.

This gives Welch Pact nations who are part of this treaty the right to open up Trading Posts, Merchant ports, and trade goods within each other's territory. Let's say your nation is a large cheese producer, yet you can't sell your cheese outside your nation. Members of this can, in market-square like places in member nation's large coast cities. Then you can sell your cheese internationally.
