You successfully manage to take out a few thousand front-line grunts and one or two mechs that were unfortunately too close, however, you lose all but one of your B-2's, as the dreadnought looses a small squadron of interceptors that quickly overtake and shred the other four in a matter of one or two minutes.

In preparation for the possible invasion of the state of Greece, a major territory and civilised area in comparison to the colony of Turkey, Sylvanna will be posting manual artillery along Greece's eastern coast including flak cannons and squads of troops armed with RPGs, and battalions of Sylvannan Crusaders will be posted in Greece's northeastern quadrant, as well as Bulgaria. Grecian citizens, less likely to be militarised than the rest of the nation due to the academic and creative ideals typically upheld in the region, will be evacuated to the western empire. Macedonian and Albanian troops and citizens will begin preparing for attacks, and will move troops southward to Greece and north of Constantinople. As far as the islands of the Aegean, ships with bombardment and gunning capabilities will be hidden throughout the channels and islands, and flak bases armed to the teeth will be built throughout the islands, secretly, and will remain hidden and inactive unless the O.O.C. should begin to cross to the sea. It's expected to be an extremely well done defense by Sylvannan standards, and while it will most likely not destroy the crossing forces, it will be sure to do significant damage.

All these operations will be carried out with utmost secrecy, and will remain a surprise, should Turkey be lost completely and the O.O.C. crosses the sea, which seems inevitable as Greece is the most obvious target to cripple the nation of Sylvanna.

The Imperial Conglomerate will begin attempting to gather info on the situation through their ally, Brindos. In the mean time, the I.C. is withdrawing their SR-71's, though the Emperor is staying behind, and deploying the entire Imperial Ground Legion to the borders of Paradisio.

FLASH: The island of Cyprus has been taken by the Holy Empire of Sylvanna, and they are currently pouring enormous amounts of military forces into the area. The purpose is currently unknown, however, the fact that this is happening so soon after the O.O.C. assault is very strange.

Standard Infantry Training: Every citizen of the Empire is required to serve six years of military service, as well as often being conscripted afterwards should they prove to be worthy warriors. At age twelve, a citizen will begin his or her mandatory military service, and will be relieved of service at age 18, however, conscription is very possible at this point if they prove worthy. This as well helps maintain the permanently standing army of no less than 10,000,000 troops.

Training generally consists of rigorous physical exercise, brutal hand to hand, as well as bladed weaponry, combat training, and both dumb and live fire ranged weapon combat practice for extreme environments. It is required that every soldier be knowledgeable of the full capabilities of their weapons and the weapons of all other nations, as well as those nations' languages. They are as well trained in the use of all Legion vehicles, and are taught to follow a rigid command structure, though at the same time be able to think for themselves and make discretionary calls in combat as need be. Each soldier is trained to an expert level with his or her assigned weapon, however, they are also trained to be at least proficient with the gear that all of their squad mates will use. This training is done every day, 20 hours a day for the duration of their time in the Imperial Ground Legion. They are as well trained to operate under extreme conditions such as life threatening weather conditions and/or exhaustion from lack of sustenance and/or sleep(Most Imperial citizens get very little sleep to begin with). Conscription is fairly similar, the only real difference being official deployment during non-war scenarios. Unofficial Imperial Ground Legion force count is approximately 500 million, with a conscripted standing force of 10 million official soldiers. Special Forces: The Imperial Conglomerate houses only one special forces division, which is the Emperor's personal escort. These men and women are referred to as the Praetorian Guard, and number 50,000. They are the mightiest soldiers the Empire has to offer, and are assigned to his Holy Majesty, Maxamillian Telgara specifically. Only he can command them, and they follow his every beck and call. The Praetorian Guard is separated into three distinctive groups. The Praetorian Capricus, the Praetorian Maximus, and the Praetorian Titanus.

The Praetorian Capricus are soldiers showing exceptional skill from the Imperial Ground Legion. They are considered the best of the best, and only those whose skill borderlines the superhuman may be allowed the honor of joining this division of the Praetorian Guard. That being said, they are also the lowest ranking of the three. They number 30,000 and are issued special weapons and armor, as well as special training. This training is universal among the Praetorians, and I will go into detail on it later.

The Praetorian Maximus:

The Praetorian Maximus are chosen from birth from the finest genes that the Empire can offer, and are rigorously trained from birth to kill and be killed in the name of the Emperor. They receive special arms and armor of a higher caliber than the Capricus.. They number 15,000 and are ranked about the Capricus. Normally, these two are deployed in tandem, forming groups of three where one Maximus will command two Capricus soldiers. Further info will be posted later.

Similar to the Maximus, the Titanus are selected at birth from the finest gene pools, however, unlike the Maximus, the Titanus undergo extensive physical enhancement through drugs and hormones, making them post-human, herculean hulks of muscle and killing power. They number 5,000 and are separate entirely from the other two divisions, normally fight alongside the Emperor directly, or are deployed independently for special operations. They receive special arms and armor of a higher caliber than the Maximus. Further will be posted later.

Upon the withdrawal of O.O.C. forces, Sylvanna has let out a great cheer. However, this cheer is entwined with discontent over a foolish emperor who's arrogance started the mess with the Cossacks in the first place. Grumbles of coups and assassins abound. It is unknown how this situation will devolve, but Sylvanna will be celebrating its survival in the meantime. The nearly destroyed territory of Turkey will begin getting rebuilt, and citizens from the eastern territories are returning home.

Due to the large number of forces thanks to O.O.C. attacks, Sylvanna is using the surplus as an excuse to launch a Crusade for the Holy Land. The target territories of the Crusade are Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, and Syria. This action will be performed at the same time as the annexation and conquering of Georgia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan. A secondary target of this Crusade will be the northeastern corner of Egypt and the Sinai Peninsula. The Egyptian territory, along with the western half of the Sinai Peninsula, will be gifted to the nation of Memorah as a token of friendship. Any and all nations are welcome to aid Sylvanna in its Crusade.

Volunteers from the Emerald Coast are being sent home, and the Marines are place mines along the border with the Cossacks. The Marine Corps is also being stationed permanently on the border, with orders to make defensive positions even more defensible with all resources available.

With the situation cleared, the Royal Family is headed to Bermuda to carry out their plans of the King's Birthday ball, and the decorating the men who fought in St. Petersburg. All foreign diplomats are invited to attend the ball.

We would like to thank Sylvanna for their gracious promise of lands in the Southeastern Mediterranean, and would like to, in exchange, begin a culture-sharing project to further solidify ties. This would involve the monthly transfer of artworks between the two nations, on a temporary basis. Similar to travelling museum exhibits.

Deals have been struck with the emerging Sovereignty of Glarauch for a transfer of lands. Memorah will be receiving the the lands along the Black Sea formerly owned by Glarauch (Seventy miles inland of the coast) in exchange for the Eastern fringe of Poland.

Cayuga-class Destroyer

The Cayuga-class Destroyer is a custom ship being put into production by the Brindosian naval forces.
It utilizes an upgraded variant of the design used for the Sovremenny-class Destroyer.

Its surface area has been increased from the original design, allowing for an additional two operational helicopters to be stored and maintained on the ship. It should be noted for relevancy that instead of the traditional Ka-27 Helix class helicopter that normally accompanies the Sovremenny-class, the facilities have been modified as to allow AgustaWestland AW159 Wildcats instead.

It's traditional armaments have been traded for the following:

16x MK 57 VLS modules
~x P-800 Oniks anti-ship Missiles
~x Vertical Launch Anti-submarine Rockets
4x Mk 110 57 mm gun
It has kept the 2x PK-2 decoy dispensers

Its hull has been upgraded to reduce radar signal.
The propulsion system is now nuclear, allowing it to reach speeds in excess of 32 knots.

Brindos has also applied for an international patent, so as to prevent other nations from constructing the Cayuga-class or similar variants.

I, the Emperor, will be leading this assault alongside the men and women of my Air Corp. However, due to weather we cannot mobilize any of our aerial tankers, nor could we launch them fast enough. As such, the best we can expect is for our force to make it just barely into the Southern tip of Africa. Any and any nations capable, we request that you divert a small contingent of tanker aircraft to refuel my assault force so that we may reach Turkey and Scandinavia for our assault run. Afterwards, we request permission to land in a friendly airport to prepare for another run.

Second, I would like to request that the Australian Conglomerate open it's ports to my Pacific fleets that are currently evacuating the Pacific under E.W.P.(emergency wartime power). This would be viewed with great respect and kindness if you allowed this. Our men are weary and our ships need to do some minor repairs and refuel.

Beyond this, the entire Imperial Ground Legion is preparing to be mobilized to counter the O.O.C. offensive. This force will not be battle ready and deployable for the next week, however, so you must last that long before we can provide support en masse.
