I would like to add that since Stahn's former leader, Warlord Gomhtog, is still in Aglinean standing trial the current leader, Iegres Vonotirahk, does not enjoy the support of the Stahnese people or military to be able to declare war on any foreign power without Stahn's own wellbeing being under direct threat.

However, The Republic of Stahn has several semi independent "armies". It works a bit like in Europe during the Dark Ages when besides the nation itself and it's monarch having an army and fleet there was also the aristocracy in which several noble houses could call upon their own armies as well.

In Stahn these are more like army unions/organizations of various sizes with a democratically elected leader.

It is a bit of a long story but it all comes down to the fact that the "Bone Gnawers" Horde of 47,660 fighting men and women have democratically decided to help our ally, New Tyran.
