Battle of Lake Brdo, Southern Flank, Southern Baggnagia

The separatists on the frontline saw the Baggnagian forces moving in towards them and thus they quickly warned the rest of the army that a counter-attack would soon be required. More separatist troops gathered on the frontline and immediately started firing at the incoming Baggnagian army with rifles and machine guns, while the mortar crews attempted to slow the enemy down with their traditional weapons. Although only very few separatist tanks had survived, they were all aligned on the frontline to fire at the incoming enemy. There was a very small number of troops and vehicles left in the separatist army and that is why the insurgents needed to put in extra effort to attacking the enemy, as they had very limited chances of winning the battle, unless they focused and attacked to the fullest.

Battle of Lake Brdo, Southern Flank, Southern Baggnagia

The additional attack and bomber jets arrived, tripling the number of the Baggnagian Air Force. Without wasting any time, the newly reformed and strengthened Air Force immediately launched a wave of bombings and air strikes onto the enemy positions, targeting tanks, AA wielders, flamethrowers wielders and mortar crews. As usually, the jets were receiving cover from the ground forces.

Battle of Lake Brdo, Southern Flank, Southern Baggnagia

After a certain period of non-stop bombings, air strikes and additional fires from the ground forces, the separatist army has been utterly annihilated. The tanks and all other weaponry had been destroyed, while 90% of the soldiers had been killed. The surviving injured troops immediately retreated fearing for their lives, allowing the Baggnagian army to claim control of a yet another territory.

As the surviving separatists began to retreat, the Baggnagian army advanced across the battlefield, making sure that the separatist retreat fully, while also taking control of all areas that they had advanced through. Additional forces were deployed to secure the newly-liberated areas.

The surviving separatists moved as fast as they could, trying to reach the closest insurgent-held area, where they would receive medical aid, as well as security. The separatists did not both to recover any tech or weaponry, as it was too damaged to be repaired or used ever again. Instead, the separatists choose their own lives, which was a smart choice from the very beginning.

C.N.S. Whiteout

"Bring the boat to periscope depth, helm."

"Aye, sir." The short exchange was completely normal, but it would change the outcome of the war yet again. As the nuclear submarine rose to the surface of the ocean, four of its counterparts shadowed it, rising from beneath the murky water like krakens from the deep. As they halted their ascent at periscope depth, similar exchanges took place aboard all five vessels.

"Weapons officer, open VLS tubes one through four."

"Doors open, sir."

"Fire tube one."

"Tube one away."

"Fire tube two."

"Tube two away."

"Fire tube three"

"Tube three away."

"Fire tube four."

"Tube four away."

"Close all VLS tube doors."

"All doors closed, sir."

"Helm, take the boat to 1000 feet."

"Yes, sir."

As all the submarines once more descended, their weapons carved trails in the sky. As they reached cruising altitude, their rocket motors cut out, and turbojets kicked in to carry them to their target, the same target as the aircraft strike the day before. As they neared the airfield, all sixteen FLAM (ADS) missiles popped up dramatically, and then dove straight into the runway. The explosions could be heard for miles, the deafening impact of high explosives on pierced steel planking and had-packed earth. The missiles were specifically created to deny the skies to the foes of their wielders, and each missile carved a hole ten feet deep and fifteen feet wide in the runway, creating miniature mushroom clouds of explosive-thrown dirt in the air over them. The damage this time was far past the mark of being repairable, a permanent fix to the blight of the enemy air forces.

High above, a lone eye watched the surgical strike being conducted. There was a nod from the examiner, and the message was passed to the commanders of the Cenerian force in the Southern Flank: The strike was good. All sixteen missiles had hit their marks. Craters were now scattered across the length and breadth of the airstrip. Aircraft would never use it again.

OOC: Kind of a god mod. You can't say that the airfield is completely destroyed, those are my forces. Besides, some missiles would have been shot down by my AA fire.

Fort Zorga
After tirelessly working on fixing the airfield, the airfield was out of commission again after a large cruise missile attack. Larger craters littered the airstrip, larger than the craters left by the air attack. About 11 cruise missiles hit the airfield, putting it out of commission. Thankfully, however, no one was killed and only a few were injured. But, this time, the airstrip would be even harder to fix, and would definitely limit the amount of air traffic flowing in and out of the facility. Immediately, every man and POW started to fill in the large craters. They filled it with destroyed vehicles, debris, and other large solid objects. After filling the craters with large solid objects, they were then covered with dirt with a new strip of metal to repair the airfield. A lot of works still needs to be done, and there is just enough room for a single aircraft to land at a time. (Meaning, only a small part of the airstrip is fixed)

In retaliation to the bombing/cruise missile attack on the airfield, the Zorganese forces increase the amount of artillery fire against the enemies in the mountains. Also in retaliation, the Zorganese artillery forces have allowed the firing of chemical weapons. A small batch of 8 TEL chemical tipped-ballistic missiles were fired at the enemy Bagnaggian Forces in the mountains.

In the Air
After fighting air to air combat with Baggnagian planes, the planes return to base. However, one plane at a time may land, due to the recent cruise missile attacks. The pilots are pretty pissed about this, and most planes are low on fuel. All the rest of the Zorganese aircraft are also en route to return to base, making it more difficult for the base personnel.

In the Mountains
After the heavy air attacks, the allies retreated, scattered, and ran for their lives, leaving the Zorganese to bear the full assault of the enemy force. Although the AA was pounding the enemies in the sky, shooting down numerous aircraft, it was not enough for the Zorganese to handle. With the allies leaving their equipment behind, the Zorganese had to quickly round up the equipment, and continue to fight off the enemy forces in their well-dug in positions. While their allies retreated, the Zorganese will buy them some time to make a final stand and continue to defend the area. They put on gas masks and chemical suits to prepare for the impending impact of the chemical missiles. The armored vehicles such as tanks and tank destroyers continued to pound the enemy forces with heavy fire.

A telegram was sent to the leader of South Baggnagia;

To: Southern Baggnagian High Command
From: Zorganese Command
Encryption: Very High

To all whom may concern,

This is the Zorganese high command. We wish to inform you that after long discussions in Zorga, the military command has ordered us to start pulling our troops out of combat. We have also been ordered to evacuate any key personnel from the area and transfer them to Fort Zorga, where they will be kept safe. We have dispatched two helicopters to your most recent location to evacuate any key personnel and key documents and transport them back to Fort Zorga for protection. We urge you to do so, in order to keep you and your command safe, as you are labeled as terrorists and they will most likely kill you.

Stay safe, and wait for pick-up,

Commander Lemskovsky, Force Commander of all Zorganese forces in Baggnagia

With that said, two Mydia Helicopters were dispatched to pick up the remaining Southern Bagnaggian command.

In the Mountains

Alorixian troopers clad in H.N.A Chassis armors and Kinetic Armor had arrived on the battlefield, along with Ares 'Ghost' Troopers, most armed with Arc , Gauss or COIL Rifles, and ACR-10s. Marching onto the battlefield, firing on and exterminating enemies with extreme prejudice.
Shortly after Octopus tanks rolled in behind the troops, followed by military jeeps and mobile artillery, firing on enemy craft in the sky, ground to air missiles being fired at them.
This mass of 15,000 moved forward along with its Baggnagian allies, to further assist in the battle.

The SFLF and the rest of the separatist factions had rejected the Zorganese proposal of evacuation, as they refused to flee from the battlefield, while still being alive and capable to fight. The surviving separatist units all around the battlefield refused to come with the Zorganese army, as they insisted that the fighting against the Baggnagian army and allies will continue until the very end. In order to make the Zorganese Command understand that the insurgents will not abandon their mission, the SFLF had written a telegram to the leadership of the People’s Republic, explaining this strict position.

To: Zorganese Command

From: Command of Southern Begnakia

It is a shame to hear that your military had decided to withdraw after such a relatively short period of presence. However, we would still like to thank you for the help that you were willing to provide and mourn the losses of the soldiers that you had lost in this war. They will be forever honored in Southern Begnakia, should we be able to achieve our freedom. Nevertheless, we ask that you cease the evacuation of our troops, as we already have a very small number of militants left in total and your evacuation of those still capable to fight will sabotage all possibility of achieving our cause. Also, apart from our militants, we – the leadership of Southern Begnakia will also refuse to leave, as our fight is not yet over. Fortunately, you had never been informed of the location of our primary headquarters and thus we will keep it that way, as we do not want any possibility of being evacuated against our own will. Thank you for your help, however, we will continue to fight even after you leave.

Sincerely,

SFLF (Southern Flank Liberation Front), leadership of Southern Begnakia

Battle of Matedia, Southern Flank, Southern Baggnagia

As the Baggnagian forces were rolling through the streets of a ravaged, half-destroyed smaller city of Matedia, they could already see the separatist army in the distance, awaiting the possibility of ambush. It was most likely that the separatists believed that they could ambush the Baggnagian military unseen, as they were not making too much noise and even looked as if they were trying to effectively hide, however, the powerful modern tech of the Baggnagian Armed Forces helped spot the separatists pretty quickly. The Baggnagian army did not let the separatists understand that they had been detected and instead continued advancing across the city streets, pretending that they were completely unaware of the upcoming separatist ambush. As the soldiers and tanks were advancing across the abandoned empty streets, they observed burning and destroyed building all around them.

Battle of Matedia, Southern Flank, Southern Baggnagia

As the Baggnagian forces were advancing forward, the separatist militants continued observing the incoming enemy from their hiding positions. All weapons were pointed to the direction of the advancing enemy, while some anti-aircraft weapons were directed into the skies, ready to shoot down potential enemy aircraft flying by. This was an important priority, as it was known that the Baggnagian attack and bomber jets were constantly circling the entire eastern part of the region, making it possible that the separatist-held Matedia might face air strikes at any time. As the insurgent troops continued observing the advancing enemy positions, tanks and missile batteries continued circling the perimeter, ready to strike the enemy at any moment, should a hostile attack commence.

The Baggnagian army continued advancing without allowing the enemy to understand that their positions had long been detected. The soldiers continued pretending that they had no idea about the enemy militants up ahead and resumed their advance as they did before. As they were doing so, however, the soldiers took a stronger grip of their rifles and started loading the weapons with more ammo, making sure that they are fully ready for a possible ambush. The tanks had also changed their maneuver position, making sure that they were going to have a comfortable opening to fire.

The separatists became suspicious, once they saw the Baggnagian soldiers slowing down their walking speed and loading their weapons. This served as a signal that the enemy has detected the separatist hiding location and had only been pretending to be unaware. This urged the separatist militants to immediately take action. One of the insurgent commanders contacted the militants operating the missile batteries and ordered them to launch missile showers onto the advancing Baggnagian positions. Soon after the order was issued, the Baggnagian positions had several waves of missile batteries coming onto them from the sky.

As the missiles started to drop onto the Baggnagian positions, the soldiers took cover and began searching for opportunities to fire at the separatist positions not that far away. A line of tanks continued their advance however, not fearing anything that the insurgents might from at them. As the tanks took over the frontline, the commander of the local Baggnagian forces called for attack and bomber jets to form a large Air Force and head over to Matedia to assist the army in liberating the city.

As the missile batteries continued dropping waves of assault onto the Baggnagian positions, the separatist troops called in for tanks to head for the frontline and attack the enemy counterparts. The separatist tanks soon engaged in battle with the Baggnagian tanks. The missile batteries had arrived onto the scene as well, firing further assault waves onto the enemy positions, except from a closer range. The separatist militants soon joined the battle aiding the tanks by firing grenade and rocket launcher fire at the enemy war machines.

The newly-assembled gigantic Air Force arrived to Matedia within 20 minutes after being called. Within this time, the local Baggnagian army already had a huge and destructive battle with the separatist militants, however, no major casualties had been suffered. It was not difficult for the Baggnagian Air Force to find the designated location, as the city itself and especially the battle zone, were visible from a great distance, as all the explosions and flames were impossible to miss. As soon as the Air Force arrived at the skies above the battlefield, the attack and bomber jets launched massive fire assault onto all the enemy positions, painting the entire battlefield in a color of fire.

The bombing run has been deadly for the separatist army. The insurgents soon lost 90% of their forces with soldiers being killed and weapons and tech being destroyed. The separatists attempted to answer back with anti-aircraft fire, but that brought little effect.

Seeing that the separatist army has almost been defeated, the Baggnagian military used the opportunity to lay as much pressure as possible and completely terminate the remaining insurgents, while they were at their most vulnerable position. The military had immediately begun moving forward, ready to crush the separatists with all might, force and effort.

Seeing how all chances to successfully counter the enemy military had been terminated, the separatists left all of their weaponry and tech behind and immediately began retreating not only from the battlefield, but from the city and the district itself.

Battle of Kolakovici, Southern Flank, Southern Baggnagia

Meanwhile, in the other, but not so distant part of the region, the Baggnagian and separatist armies were having a yet another bloody and destructive battle for the control of a certain large portion of an area. The battle primarily consisted of firefights between the ground forces, with the more armed and powerful side making progress. Although the forces managed to destroy a large portion of the separatist tech, the army took casualties itself, making it possible that the current battle might shift in any direction. Hopefully the Baggnagian army will be victorious in this battle as well, as a lot of innocent lives depended on it.

The separatists resumed their attempts to get the upper hand in the fight by continuing to launch intense fire at the enemy positions. Although the missile batteries had been a great tool in the separatist progress in the current battle, the Baggnagian army had managed to destroy a lot of them, meaning that the entire course of the fighting had to be taken over by the troops once more. AK-47, machine gun and rocket launcher fire continued being fired at the enemy positions.

Although the ground forces were holding up very decently, there were times when the number of enemy militants was simply greater. This made the Baggnagian army call for air support to take the heat off. Attack and bomber jets soon began taking over the action, covering the separatist-held part of the battlefield in fire.

The separatists tried to respond to the enemy jets with intense anti-aircraft fire. Although it was effective, but not to the fullest, as it only consisted of AA guns and rocket launchers. The missile batteries previously made up a large portion for the separatist anti-aircraft fire, however, most of the batteries had been destroyed and thus the separatists were left to work only with what they possessed.

Although several jets had been lost, the Baggnagian Air Force generally did not suffer too many casualties, as the jets resumed successful maneuver in the skies, as well as the bombardment and air offensives of the enemy positions. Although the enemy army was once again put in a vulnerable position, it was not completely helpless, as intense anti-aircraft fire continued coming the way of the Baggnagian jets. Intensified ground support was required and that was exactly what the army provided after receiving the request from the pilots.

After several bombing runs of the separatist positions, the insurgents began setting up mortars and firing at the enemy ground forces with an attempt to sabotage ground support for the enemy jets. It was effective at first, but the enemy forces soon found a way how to perform a “counter-sabotage” by disrupting this separatist activity. The insurgent forces soon began receiving mass assault from the enemy army, as both the frontline forces and back-up forces were getting attacked. The separatists continued loosing soldier lives and important tech as well as weaponry. The termination of primary separatist assault forces gave an opening for the Baggnagian Air Force to once again lay havoc onto the insurgent forces.
