The Kel'anth stood in her command module. "This is Kel'anth Jeska Numena to IKN fleet. Activate Overlay Shield. Give me firing solutions for the AM missile pods. Lets shred these locals so we can focus on the primary theater of the war here. I have two Nidhoggur Transports and four Lyssa Battlecruisers asking for guidance into the atmosphere and I need this place cleared. Gwarm Cruisers, launch your CFA-77 fighters and keep them within the fleet and shield for strike craft defense."

She turns her attention to the weapon systems. "I want a volley prepared. 20 waves. 7 Second Intervals. Don't let these guys know what hit them. We will wait for the Pords to exchange fire with them after that before unleashing a second volley. I want same volume cut to 13 waves with 8 second intervals. And electronics, set the Sensor Probes to activate their scrambling systems. I want their comms cut off so no reinforcements show up while we are deploying the grogs."

The ships begin to comply. A layer of shielding projected from each ship surrounds the entire IKN fleet while the fleet drifts towards their opponent maintaining formation.

Above Clorinth

The Dropships and their cover begin their movement towards Sinovet with the Cyhelenes ready to drop into the water off the coast of Scarborough Beach. When they arrive the dropships would speed back to the carrier without escort and the fighters and Destroyer escorts would stay with the infantry as support.

Orbit; VRZ Detachment:
VRZ Y-639; Nezharekazh Rift Cruiser:
500cm PSKR Battery; Primary Gun Deck:

The cruiser glides silently through space, keeping formation with the other vessels, closing, ever so inexorably. It too reaches the optimum long-range artillery distance from the hostile fleet, and prepares to make its strike. In the restricted confines of orbit, any engagement will be quick, decisive and bloody.

They make their move without having need for direct orders. Once the distance had been closed, their hour had come. The artillerymen of the PSKR batteries begin the opening salvos of the Pordish fleet. VRZ Y-639 - and the myriad rift cruisers like her - open fire upon the fleet as a whole in a staggered fashion (ships closest to the Pords receiving the heaviest fire), the vast PSKR batteries - ranging from the smaller shielded airship mounted 100cm PSKR up to the capital ship mounted 1,500cm - 5,500cm PSKR batteries - unload their dense shells at near .9c, the shells themselves passing through kinetic/phasic converters to coat them in a sheath of charged particles for added shield penetration and point defense protection. A sickening amount of these guns open up in concert, firing from their guns in rapid sequences of four, with every fourth shell being completely converted by the kinetic/phasic converters to simply a dense charged particle bolt. The entire fleet erupts with fire, as each ships' guns loose their first four rounds of the initial salvo.

Eerily, silent however, are the planet-rending high yield attacks from the projector array weaponry. Instead, their power is channeled fully into defense. It would seem a disproportionate amount of power from the small fleet is being channeled into the defensive systems, with even a localized PAI field being generated within the extent of the Primary Array's sphere.

Of course, on the receiving end, they would see merely the numerous rounds of the first salvo emerging from the outer edges of the array.

Bridge of the VRZ High Island:

"Let's finish this rapidly, captain," notes the Admiral.

The captain, however, is busy sending a message back to VRZ High Command:
From: VRZ High Island
To: VRZ Command, Yamsai

Located and have begun engaging hostile forces in accordance with current objectives. Requesting additional VRZ assets to remain on standby should situation for their need arise.

When he finishes, he looks up and to the admiral before speaking: "Tasi." thus, the captain.
"Sent orders down to the hangar bay for the ZJR to prepare to be sent planetside."
"They mention anything about wanting orbital superiourity first?"
"No, they haven't. If we wrap things up here rapidly, we shouldn't need to worry about it."
The captain merely nods.

Hangar Bay:
34th Yamsai'an Brigade-Chünezhnar; 8th Division-Chünezhnar:

The Pord is a brigade commander - DritteJloknam Atka Nürzh. He is one of many such officers... Hunters, turned soldiers for Nalydya.

"Hope we get some nice weather down there." Nürzh.
"Yea. Schalchnu just got over with back home... Cold winter this year," thus the Rezhnam.
"Really, already?"
"Yes. Cold too. Hit a record low the other day."
"Sounds like Naluztian weather."

A few CTM-6 move by. Their dark colours contrast sharply with the colours of the hangar bay. They roll towards one of the shuttles, and a few men move to secure them inside. Very soon the ZJR will be moved out. Behind the tanks a few drummers and standard-bearers move around. They follow the tanks into that particular landing craft, no doubt part of that unit. They will be needed once combat has finally been joined.

Redbeard smiled under his namesake. There are two needed to play this game, you know?, he thought.
The enemy opened fire before he could get his answer, which kind of bugged him, but what were the wise words of a General from a far off land? "No plan survives the first Hard Contact."
He was right once again.
"Losses, Gentlemen?", he asked.
"Two light cruisers destroyed, Sultan Darda reports heavy damages and Volci isn't replying, but still following the course.", one officer reported. "Shields on most ships are holding good. Better then expected."
"Fighters report minimal losses. They keep their fire on the larger ships.", another officer, this time from Flight Command, reported. He didn't sound too happy.
"Enemy trying to block our communications!", came a yell. "Direct connection holding!"
This was another thing, which Sultan Süleyman made known again: The importance of communication in a battle. This prooved to be the birth hour of new systems on most ships, including a direct Laser communications link between even the smallest fighters and the talent for improvisation.
In fact, that meant, that the communications officer on a ship had the power to, if needed, turn on and off all lights on a ship as a morse code. That the Volci wasn't replying even in this way was worrying. Then there was the matter of own initiative of Captains and lower Admirals, as well as squadron commanders.
"Well, no time to act like the present, ladies and gentlemen.", the Grand Admiral said. "Main Battle Line, open fire. Focus on the nearest capital ship! Fighterbombers and Bombers, Maneuver Süleyman 41-D on my mark. Bring the uglies in the first row! Fighters stay here!"
"Fleet's response positive!", an officer reported.
Redbeard took a deep breath. "Mark!", he yelled.
With this order, the fleet returned fire. Pure and simple coincedence wanted, that some of the laser shots, ion canon fire and rockets met their opposing counterparts. The lightshow was pretty as not even a percent of the shots annihalated each other.
The Heavy cruisers moved forward as a shielding force - maybe the Utica-class was more or less outdated and ugly, but they were heavy armour was hard to make a dent in.
Bombers and Fighterbombers, carrying heavy loads, meanwhile commenced Süleyman 41-D. This was another maneuver from the wars against pirates, who were quick to be there and away again - for an organized fleet the pure horror, as they had to take formation and to enter into the gravity well of a planet after coming out of Hyperspace and therefore giving the enemy more then enough time to flee.
However, jumps deep into gravity wells were not impossible, on the contrary, it was just a security measure to keep the ships from crashing into planets with nearly the speed of light - they learned the hard way, that this was never a good idea all those centuries ago.
These security measures, programmed into computers, could be turned off. Coming to a planet's gravity well required a very good bunch of navigators, but leaving?
Hundreds and hundreds of fighterbombers and bombers jumped to Hyperspace and reappeared behind the Nalydya's famed fleet protecting shield*.
Those making the jump, around 75 percent of the force immediately began to unload their payloads, hundreds of torpedoes and conons fired at the enemy. Those not making it either crashed into the shield, crashed into the enemy's ships or jumped to far, pass the enemy.
Most crashed.

Then, the most beautiful sight came for the fleet.
Called days ago, Hyperspace windows opened above the enemy and his shield. Hurrying to war, the Sultana herself commanded her ships to the greatest haste with the famed words "Then let them fly apart!"
Hundreds of reinforcing ships appeared**, larger then the original fleet, but mostly outdated ships from the Reserve Fleet. The whole bunch was pro forma led by the Sultana herself on board the carrier Allat.
In fact, Prince Ilia, Lord Commander of the Space Command led the fleet. His only order was resounded through the laser connections with speed and was followed with the same as thousands of fighters, from outdated Alephs and Beths to the most modern Condors, Scorpions, Eagles and Falcons began to start from their ships.
This order was: "Fire."

I hope, that you don't see this as a godmod. If you do, let me explain my line of thought:
When a ship enters Hyperspace, it enters a different dimension, where it can travel with the speed of light. In this dimension, neither weapons can be fired, not shields erected.
Every barrier in Normal Space is null and void or rather not existing.
So, with a very good calculated jump, something can bypass a barrier of any kind.

You may ask "Why don't you use this for torpedoes?"
Because this is very complicated and difficult to do even with such small ships (and I do not assume, that the enemy will be kind enough to have enough space between his ships to safely do this with my capitals).
And torpedoes don't have enough room for the corresponding computers, engines and systems.
In the end, I will leave it to the OP if this is a Godmod or not.
May he judge fair.

The Reserve Fleet appears - they were called days ago in this post, long before the scrambling try. They took many regular fleet ships with them, including:
- The Allat, the Sultana's personal flagship
- 9 more ships of it's kind
- 150 BR-111 Blockade Runners
- 60 Aaron-class Cruisers
- 5 Wadi-class heavy cruisers
- 15 Sultan Süleyman class Battlecarriers
- 10 Golden Eagle class Carriers
- 30 Utica-class Heavy Cruisers
- 150 Rasha-class Light Cruisers
- 120 EF-552A-class Escort Frigates (including the 60 originally leaving along the with the transport ships)
- 56 PF-887-class Patrol Frigates (30 of which originally belong to the Police)
- corresponding complements

Well, this will be interesting, don't you agree?

In Space above “The Pony Lands.”
Day one of war +35 minutes

The chosen team’s leaders cluster around the briefing table with a Fire cast tactician and a Warrior marked as a fireblade. Es'shi: “Wont going down there ruin our diplomatic immunity?” To which the tactician replied “The minuet that Clorinth captured Aun’Anuk they declared war on the Tau Empire and our allies. We have detected several large warp signature 7 days out from this planet which means there will won’t be much time for preparations. Thisis a map of Clorinth we lost contact with the Ethereal and his entourage somewhere here. The enemy as you may or may not know from the rumors are indeed ponies. They seem to have adapted for night time operations. Any questions?” Yes,” said Vash'aun'an “who are these allies you speak of?” The tactician replied “When the Clorinth abducted the Ethereal they also declared war with the Sinovets the other large faction on the planet and since we still have a rather small foot hold on this system Water caste ambassadors have been dispatched to talk with them we believe them to be more honorable than the Clorinth.” When dose the rest of the fleet arrive?”asked Sho'aunor'es. “Quite coincidentally in 7 days” replied the tactician “This is Fireblade Monat Lar. He will be leading this expedition. If there are no more questions then proceed to the simulators for training. You drop in 5 days.

I am assuming here that the space battle take place a week after the start of the war if that's wrong just tell me and i'll fix it

In Space above “The Pony Lands.”
Alpha team(ooc the expedition team) please report to the hanger bay for launch. For the last 5 days the team had been training hard for the upcoming battle. Now it was time to put all that training to use. As the team got to the hangar bay they were greeted with the sight of a mad scramble to get the manta missile destroyer ready. The devilfish were getting loaded the drones were already in there births and the Skyrays were prepped to be orbital dropped. Now all that was needed was for the team to embark. Monat Lar: “Ok, men we all know the drill we set the manta down at the northern most point of the search zone. We sweep south and search for any signs of the diplomatic team. And remember once we are down there we will be in communication blackout with the ships in orbit. Now get embarked drop is in 10 minuets.”

In Space

Arrival of a second fleet prompted Jeska to do something she found distasteful. "If these people are as jump happy as those we have fought in the past it is best that we go ahead and set it up now. Activate FTLi. Order the fleet to exit rift and the carriers to enter the atmosphere while the battlecruisers join our formation before we set up the DSD to stop all additional travel."

Fully in formation, four rift canals open on the flanks of the IKN fleet bringing out a single Lyssa Battlecruiser each. With actual line ships in the formation Jeska could open it up. They would require time to organize their weapon systems, but the Carrier was 100% ready to fire. It did so. Targeting the original fleet a first volley of missiles comes out. It would have 20 total waves, but the first two were heavily saturated with Gravitational Warp Missiles to tear apart shielding or if they make it to the hulls of the enemy, stretch and put additional strain on the metals of the ships. The rest were filled with the deadly Anti Matter warheads the IKN was famed for. This became all too apparent when the names of the newly arrived ships reached the enemy CIC: IKN Bombardment of Cerea, IKN Bombardment of Atlanta, IKN Bombardment of Ryasterroth, and IKN Bombardment of Mezzo Jerusalem.

The missile storm break down was so:
Wave 1: 374,400 GWMs(Gravitational Warp MIssiles) and 84,500 Class H-Planet Anti Matter(AM) Missiles
Wave 2: 374,400 GWMs and 84,500 Class H-Planet AM Missiles
Wave 3-20: 57,777 Class H-A AM Missiles; 75,111 Class H-C AM Missiles; 112,666 Class H-Planet AM Missiles; and 4622 GWMs per wave

Total missile count: 1,040,000 H-A AM missiles; 1,352,000 H-C AM missiles; 2,197,000 H-Planet AM missiles, 832,000 GWMs

The waves were fired 7 seconds apart to try and overwhelm the opponent's point defenses with early waves so the later waves will have the most impact. The next wave was being prepared, but all the missile pods would have to be reloaded. The fleet accelerated towards the original Kyrenaian fleet. The Gwarm Cruisers had yet to engage the enemy. Instead they were waiting for the Carrier to use its second missile volley. The Gwarm Cruisers were saving their missiles for defensive actions. The Destroyers with the fleet were also holding their weapons back for defensive actions should they be fired on anytime soon.

Lower Atmosphere above Clorinth

The two Nidhoggur Carriers with their load of Grog soldiers had arrived when the Nuxipal Battlecruisers had. As these ships arrived the FTLI(FTL interdiction), and DSD (Dimensional Shift Disruptor) activated from the Iaso Carrier putting a complete end to the possibility of the enemy trying their close FTL movements and prevents trans-universal/trans-dimensional travel. Staying above Clorinth for the time being the Carriers only deploy a total of 52 CFA-55 Fighters to provide air defense for them for the time being.

Transmissions were sent to Clorinth to request a location for the Grog Reinforcements to land.

Orbit:

Battle had been joined. And it would prove to be a very bloody one indeed.

"Captain... Admiral... I think you should look at this." Sensors Officer.

The admiral looks to the displays first. They indicate a fairly large FTL jump. Suddenly, the enemy had placed themselves within extreme close range with his vessels. He scratches his head, then sends a message to the ships. It is but five words: "Free to do Individual Battle."

Outside of the VRZ High Island, all hell has broken loose. The Cholanrüchen gunships - 480 in total - gun their throttles and accelerate towards the hostile fighters, their own miniature Projector Arrays lashing out to destroy any remaining fighter or attack craft. Behind them, with no reaction time for PDS, the ordinance fired off by the enemy is largely successful in hitting their targets... However, it would seem they has no sense of scale. The explosions go off against the shielding of the VRZ High Island, seeming to be mere dots against its bulk. And yet, on top of this, the Arrays are still linked between the gargantuan VRZ High Island and the other ships. And so, the same scene is played throughout the other vessels, albeit a bit differently.

"More FTL signatures, sir. Massive ones."

Again, the Admiral looks to the displays. This time, it would seem an entire fleet had jumped. "Jlokhemit's Trident," he mumbles. "Captain, give us an FTLi field. Same extent as the PAI."

"Tasi," returns the captain.
"Arrays: 50% to offensive. Keep them pinned between its extent and our fleet! PAI is operating as normal?"
"Tasinehdao," replies another bridge officer, apparently one whose primary objective is monitoring the field.
"Alright. All weapons are cleared to be fired. Roll up on the capitals." thus, the admiral.

The enemy might notice a shift in the Array Shielding at this point, as some is shifted over to offensive power. With the Redirection Probes up, they are quick to retrain their weaponry. Not even a few seconds after the enemy made his jump, the Array opens up, sending powerful attacks racing inwards towards the hostile fleet, from seemingly every direction. Some of the attacks are simple yet large solidified kinetic pikes, and others are over-sized relativistic "battering rams." The presence of the PAI field means the Array is limited to kinetic-based attacks.

However, the Array are not the only attacks now. While the larger artillery takes a bit longer to retrain, the missile and torpedo bays on the vessels slam open, unleashing a deadly torrent of shielded Type 1 - 6 Array Missiles. Behind them are a number of gravitational wave missiles, as well. The missiles fly off in waves, each wave more numerous than PSKR rounds from their individual salvos, perhaps a few hundred missiles winding their way to each one of the Kyrenaian vessels.

"What is the status of this new fleet," inquires the captain.
"They've fired. PAI and shields are stable," returns the Sensors Officer.

Almost as if to prove his point, a splash of turbolaser fire crashes against the outer hull. It had somehow survived the transit through the PAI field without being destabilized. No matter though. The excess energy from the fire is shunted into the vessels' power cells, much like the fire impacting the outer array from the original Kyrenaian fleet. All around the fleet, the same sight is replayed over and over, with most of the fire becoming victim of the PAI field. The current volume of fire, though impressive, is not of the right composition to tax their systems. It would seem the concussion missiles are the greatest threat at this point, with two of the shielded airships signaling VRZ High Island that they've sustained considerable damage from them.

"However, I'm not entirely sure how long the field will remain operational. Over-saturation is a real threat here. We need to be careful." Sensors Officer.
"Right," replies the captain.
"We will switch over to full defensive power, once the field is over-saturated," the admiral chimes in. "Do you have an estimate on how long before that is?"
"No, I don't. It will depend on the volume of enemy fire. It seems the vast majority of their fire is energy and particle-based... So I imagine it won't be terribly long."
"Alright. We will adjust accordingly. We have a small window of opportunity here," continues the admiral, "we'll need to make the most of it."

"Status report!", the Grand Admiral yelled as he climbed up to his seat.
"Sultan Mustafa destroyed, Sultan Osman burning, we have taken heavy fire.", the officer looked at his console. "New Utica broke apart and..."
"You know what, I don't want to hear it!" Something tickled down his forehead, most likely blood. "What about the bombers and fighterbombers?"
"We seem to have slightly miscalculated the scales. Enemy is taking far smaller losses then estimated.", another officer, a female, replied, after she stepped up to the console - the original officer laid behind her leaned against the wall with his head halfway blown off. "Additionally, the enemy deployed systems to disable Hyperdrives."
"Anything good to report?"
"The point defense systems are working better then estimated. Only five percent of the enemy's rockets are coming through." The ship was shaken again, from being hit itself and from the Selma, a light cruiser, exploding. "And causing massive damage."
The Admiral took a moment to recompose himself. Should he order the scattering of his fleet so that some of them were capable of fleeing? Should he make a stand?
"The fighters begin to attack the enemy.", he ordered and paused for a second, before he made his next decision: "All not-essential personell - get spacesuits and out on the hull. Fire on the enemies ships with your personal arms, assault rifles, repeating blasters... if you need, throw stones!" He leaned back, as one of his cruisers broke apart. "We need every bit of fire we can get!"
"And the rest?"
"The rest of the not-essential personell gets into the escape pods, take weapons and supplies with you! Program them on locations in Sinovet!", he ordered with a heavy heart.
It was only one step from scuttling the fleet.

"Status report!", Prince Ilia yelled.
The Alatt had been hit, not much, but enough to bring him down on the ground due to the shaking. He knew, that his mother was still standing in her lounge, still her cup of tea in her old, but firm and strong hands.
"Shields and point defense holding for the moment. Light damages on several of the ships.", an officer, quite a stunning young lady, replied. "Redbeard is faring far worse."
"Continue to fire.", the Prince ordered. "Bring us into a better position, while we are at it!"
A fact was, that the batteries were both on the top as well as on the bottom of the ships, with only the bottom batteries with a line of fire - if they changed their degree, especially of the heavy cruisers, they were capable of bringing all firepower into battle.
That was good.
"And send the bombers and fighters after the Grand Admiral's. I want everything on the Nalydyan forces!"
"What about the Nuxipalians?", an officer asked.
"Send them a message: 'Dear enemies, I hope you forgive us, but will have to wait for your turn to be torn apart. Please stand by, lower your shields and deactivate your weapons. I assure you, that I will not redirect firepower to destroy you. Signed, Prince Ilia of Kyrenaia.'" He smiled, as the communication officer send the message.

Red Five meanwhile had other worries.
Scorpions were not fighters in the classical sense - they were fast and agile as fighters, yes, but they also had a torpedoe launcher. That little thing made them bloody expensive.
The top mounted Ion Canon didn't help matters either.
He found himself jumping and attacking the enemy in an inefficient manner, while his wingman (or rather wingwoman) was blown apart by a 100cm-slug. He would never laugh at their allies for using Gauss-weaponry again.
That was, if he survived this mess.
Enemy gunships had been deployed and their were making life not that much easier for them - flying for their lives in defensive fire was appearantly not enough for them.
Most of the pilots were flying completely alone, taking potshots at the enemy, wether it be in form of his capitals or in form of his gunships. He did so, too.
His two Laser cannons fired and hit, but due to pulling away he wasn't able to see the results. The fights, close ranged dogfights, continued.

Orbit:
Cholanrüchen Gunship:

"Bandits, seven o'clock low," calls out Hanüch to his pilot.
"Gotcha," replies the other Pord.

A targeting solution is rapidly made and a Projector Array attack is launched from the plane, the beam rapidly speeding through space to its target. Without waiting for the result, the craft banks away to find other targets. Like all Cholanrüchen, Hanüch makes sure to use the crafts' advantages. The Array in particular, which really has replaced any need for a high degree maneuverability, especially in these close range combats in which it would be impossible to dodge relativistic ordinance regardless.

Laser fire races past the cockpit. The pilot - Kornat - flinches, then composes himself. A few more streaks of laser-fire fly past; one hits the gunship. It shudders, and begins to trail black smoke.

"Damn it!"
"Both shields are down. We may be able to make it back to the VSG.."
"No," calls Kornat, ripping his tundra wolf-emblazoned headband off. "I don't think we will. Going to pass you control, systems up here are fried."
"Alright," replies Hanüch.

Hanüch proceeds to pulling the craft out of combat. Signaling for landing clearance, he lines the gunship up and prepares for a touchdown. Inside of the hangar bay, the crew watch the craft rapidly closing, swinging from side to side as it moves it. It smashes down on the deck and slides a good way, the left side quickly becoming engulfed in flame. Fire crews rush over to put it out, and the two pilots are dragged from the downed machine.

Bridge of the VRZ High Island:

"PAI field status?" the captain.
"Nearing complete saturation," replies the Sensors Officer.
"Admiral, I believe it's time to take it down."
"Is it time for us to use our blades, gentlemen?" the High Hunter. He'd been silent for a while. Now, as he speaks, he runs his hand across one of his swords. Looking up to the two officers, he continues: "I think it's time."
"Of course. Admiral?"
"Yes. I agree with you." he moves a few indicators on the display, then sends out an order: "All weapons free."

Outside, the PAI field comes down. The vessel shakes from a few impacts, shots that only seconds before would have been countered by the PAI field. Very likely, only superficial damage, though... The energy mainly shunted into the power cells and contained. For the smaller ships, not so much. VRZ Y-563 is hit repeatedly, then begins to list through space. Too much energy for the small vessel to contain, and venting procedures not taken rapidly enough. Dozens of escape pods are jettisoned and race towards VRZ High Island. The linked Arrays are shifted again, 60%/40%, with the larger hunk towards defense. Vast particle beams now join the solid array attacks, although overall the power being used is less than before. However, a multiplicity of attack is always vital to maintain. That stabilized, the fleets non-Array energy and particle weaponry are now cleared for use...

K/E Plasma Torpedoes are launched in waves and wind their way towards targets (for a total of three different types of missile being fired, the Gravitational Wave, along with the shielded Array missiles, which now coalesce in groups of ten and link their arrays, resembling great nets in space. This gives them more survivability, as well as amplifying the damage caused by them, as the linking between the missiles also impact their targets at relativistic speeds), followed shortly by a wild cacophony of 127mm particle-beam cannons, set in quad mounts, firing rapidly to shred shields and armour. The batteries of Dark Phaser Banks come online as well, targeting specifically lighter vessels and escort craft. And finally, courtesy of the Grazhnirüzhän class vessels, 100cm ENS batteries, nasty weapons that essentially operate by disintegrating matter at the atomic level. These target specifically surface-mounted weapon systems and visible bridge structures of the hostile capital ships.

Lighter anti-fighter weapons are now used as well: 20mm plasma autocannons and 20mm particle beam cannons, both of which focus exclusively on hostile fighters, bombers and fighter-bombers. They fire mainly in support of the Pords' own Cholanrüchen gunships, who've - at this point - sustained 50-60 craft taken out. They criss-cross through space, adding another element of danger to the battlefield. Defensive missile fire also begins, with Type 6 DE missiles being lobbed in clumps of five to seek out hostile fighters and destroy them. These aged missiles have been around since the first fleets of Nalydya took to space. In those days, they were anti-ship missiles. In this day and age though, they've been relegated to anti-fighter work.

Now, the firepower of the Nalydian fleet was focused entirely on the Kyrenaian ships that had jumped inside of the Array's primary sphere.

It was not the clean sweep she was looking for, but she was getting positive impact readings from 271,050 missiles exactly 5% of the original assault. The second missile wave would be launched at the original fleet. She received the message from the Kyrenian Fleet and smiled, they were overconfident. Just as she was dialing in the final preparations for a new system she noticed something. Escape pods, from the ships she had just fired on. A devilish grin flashed across her face as she quickly barked out orders.

"Change target of the next missile swarm. Use last missile storm settings for 95% of the missiles. Send 20% of the first five waves towards those escape pods. Show those cowards why it is a bad idea to try and escape from the Mri here among the stars."

The missile storm launches again. This time with the deviation as she ordered to hit the escape pods. She then drafts a message for the Kyrenaian Ship and program it to be sent just before the first wave of missiles is to impact the escape pods.

To: Kyrenaian Tin Cans
From: Kel'anth Jeska

It would seem that you are in a tough position, but I would not suggest leaving your ships under any circumstance. Please Observe what happens when you do so.

Meanwhile, the Fighter Groups begin launching after the last of the missiles are away. 39 Locust Fighter Wings, each wing containing 169 fighters, had launched themselves towards the Pord fleet to help provide defense against the enemy fighters there. Another 104 wings also took to clean up operations on the original Kyrenaian Fleet. The rest of the fighters begin to deploy beneath the carrier to prepare to swarm the second fleet as a mass formation. The entire fleet then moves in unison to point at the Kyrenaian second fleet above the Pords.

"Gwarm Cruisers, Lyssa Battlecruisers. Lock on and fire at will."

As each individual ship aligns they open fire. From the 25 Gwarm Cruisers bolts of high energy plasma, with a mass of 460kg per bolt, scream towards the enemy fleet taking emphasis to hit the smaller ships to cut down overall firepower from the enemy fleet. The Lyssa Battlecruisers on the other hand opened fire with their MAC guns. With 26 normal sized guns per ship they would cycle between the barrels being used to create a constant rate of fire, which would only be interrupted to fire the two Storm Rail Guns at the Enemy Carriers every twenty seconds or so. They would keep this rate of fire up as they approached the enemy force.

A second message is drafted and sent to the flagship of the second Kyrenaian fleet.

To: Commanding Officer of Second Kyrenaian Fleet
From: Kel'anth Jeska Numena of the IKN

Surrender your forces and you will be allowed to leave the battlefield upon your vow to never return to intervene on this world again. Refusal and you will face the premier Naval might of the Multiverse.

The lounge had a rather spartan interior.
There was the holoprojector in the centre, displaying the centre, two or three couches, sideboards and a carpet, a gift from a very good friend, as well as a console. On the walls were copies of beautiful or important paintings, among them a portrait of Sultan Süleyman, another one of the current Sultana's mother. During non-combat-situations, the large armour plates could be opened and gave a stunning view of space.
Now, however, they were closed and left the occupants of the room in the blue light of the projector. There was an old woman of 110 years, looking splendid for her age, who sat on the couch with one of her closest employees, Mahmut, her loyal butler.
By the door stood two men of the Sultana Guard, her personal lifeguard.
All four of them watched the space battle. The lights of weaponfire flew between the four fleets, damaging ships, as did the tiny dots representing fighters and other small ships. Small blossoms signalled the fiery end of one of these, larger ones erupted from hit compartments of ships, Redbeard's fleet and the enemy alike.
They were shifting fire.
Just moments ago, they watched the enemy destroying helpless escape pods.
War was a rough thing, that was out of question, but one needed to have certain rules - escape pods were not to be touched, under no circumstances, was one of those. Otherwise, it would be more of a slaughter then it already was.
However, the Sultana's eyes rested on a little wedge, if one compared it to the gigantic enemy ships. Many fires came out of it's hull, only some of the engines were still working and not all batteries fired anymore.
Then, IKN Sultan Süleyman broke apart.
About quarter of an hour (or four destroyed ships) later, the doors opened and gave way to a young man of thirty years, who inheritated his late father's eyes. "Peace with you, Mother."
"And with you, Ilia.", the old woman responded. "What are you doing here?"
"Bringing a message.", was his simple reply, as he presented the pad.

"I ordered Redbeard's fleet to mave forward and to attempt a breakthrough to our lines, but I am not sure, if many ships will make it.", he continued to explain. "I also ordered all ammunition on the replenishment ships to be armed. We are still concentrating on the Nalydyan Forces."
The Sultana's thoughts were occupied with something else. She had been promised support on the space front. She had relied on the support, since she simply wasn't able to send more ships into battle without leaving her nation without defense.
She had been disappointed so far.
Now, this Kel'anth Jeska Numena offered her a way out - but she wouldn't make it easy for the enemy. Slowly, she began to compose a message in her son's name:
To: Kel'anth Jeska Numena
From: Prince Ilia, RKN Allat

Good day, Kel'anth Jeska Numena.
The Kyrenaian Forces will never surrender, be it in space or on the land. However, I will agree to an honourable truce, if you can assure me, that the Nalydyan Forces will stand by this agreement, too.
These are our conditions:
One. Survivors of destroyed or fatally maimed ships will be rescued.
Two. As soon as the rescue operations are finished, all ships, from both sides of this battle, will retreat and not come back until the 4th Sino-Clorinthian War is over.
    Three. There are no reparations.
Four. There will be no charges for war crimes.
Five. Following to this truce, all two or three (it depends on Nalydya) nations of this truce will hold peace for five years.
Conditions One and Two are not matters, which can be negotiated. However, the last three are open for discussion.
What are your conditions?

Signed,
Prince Ilia of Kyrenaia, Lord Commander of the Royal Space Command

The Prince had not other choice then to give his fingerprint as a signature, since his mother ordered him to.
The message left with the best wishes.

In route to the Pony lands
Aboard the Or'es El'leath (Custodian) Class Battleship Korst'la'cea
“Captain 1 minute before we drop out of the dive. Early probe scans indicate a battle raging around orbit between several fleets.” Said an Ensign “Prepare the ship for return to real space,” Replied the Captain. There was no sound as the tau fleet slowly crawled out of its shallow dive into the immaterium. “Statues of the other fleets?” Asked the Captain. The fleets displaying Friendly IFF tags seem to be taking a pounding from as of yet unidentified fleet we assume they are the enemy and have been marked as such. “Good. Tell the fleet to launch the escorts of there hooks and get them into a battle line formation. Launch torpedoes when we get in range then halt the fleet and launch the fighters. How are the prototype void shields?” “The Earth caste engineers believe they are ready for a field test.”Replied the Ensign. Captain:”Very good bring them online, but have the regular shield spin up just incase. And advance the fleet, launch the scanning probes, and send a message to the friendly fleer telling them we are here to help so there is no confusion.”

"Prince!", a voice yelled through the speakers connecting them to the bridge. It was a young female's voice, full of excitement. "Reinforcements have arrived!"
All eyes turned to the projector and indeed - new ships, marked friendly, numbering exactly twentynine, were there. It wasn't salvation, but it was a beginning.
"Send greetings to the new arrivals and inform them, that there is a nearly not existing chance, emphasis on that, that we can win this battle without any more bloodshed. And thank them for their arrival.", he told the officer.
"Well, better late then never.", the Sultana smirked.
If this Kel'anth Jeska Numena was as thick headed as they assumed she was, then this nearly not existing chance had a negative possibility. But if she was even halfways intelligent, then she would accept it.
Of course, nobody expected anyone to follow Condition Two. Covenant faithfulness was a high value after all.

Capitan we have received a reply from our allies they thank us for our arrival and have identified themselves as the Kyrenaia’s. “Ok, do not fire until I give the word. Move us into range and in a formation that complement there’s. Also contact the Du Fio'tak and her escorts and tell them to move in behind the fleet, And prepare the troops for deployment.” Said the Captian.

The Message was forward. Jeska looked it over then forwarded it to the captains of the other ships. "What do you guys think. Have we taken enough damage to withdraw?"

The message hardened the resolve of the Fleet captains as a general consensus of No was reached. Another fleet, considered instantly to be hostile, arrived at the edge of the FTLi/DSD zone. Fortunately they would have a relatively large distance to travel before engaging, but they were now there and would have to be dealt with. A response to the Prince's message was composed and sent.

To: Prince Ilia of Kyrenaia
From: Kel'anth Jeska Numena

You disappoint. Now, by the will of Nika, I will have to destroy your fleet.

At this she sent orders to her ships to destroy the last of the Kyrenaian fleet and prepare to turn and face the new threat. While doing this her fighters were beginning to engage the remnants of the first fleet and the fighters inside of the Nalydyan fleet's defensive sphere.

At Original Kyrenaian Fleet

The Locust Fighters were just that, Locusts. They fired small plasma bolts at ships and looked for signs of life. They would land on heavily damaged ships and use their plasma to cut open the hulls and drop down into the ships themselves until they could get to a place where they could either destroy the ship or destroy the crew. Individual fighters were meaningless.

Kyrenaian Forces inside Nalydyan Defensive Sphere

The Swarm here was larger. They grouped up to hunt down the enemy fighters. Looking to trap them between the explosions of ordinance or the Pordic Ships.

Main Fleet

The Gwarm Cruisers continued their barrage as did the Lyssa Battlecruiser. The difference now came as the Iaso Carrier turned its attention to the Kyrenaian Second Fleet. The Iaso Carrier opened fire with its own Agni and Tengri cannons. The volume of plasma fire doubled almost instantly and to make matters worse the Carrier had pointed the front of its mass towards one of the Kyrenaian Fleet Carriers before Activating its Havok Energy Cannon.

The Havok was located inside what could only be described as the mouth of the carrier. The great maw opened as the weapon fired sending a beam of energy across space at the speed of light. Inside the ship the ten story 'battery' that charged the cannon was discharged and would require replacement after the one shot, which sent a beam of energy equivalent to the yearly energy output of the Class-A Star from the Mri Home System.

After the beam was fired a swarm was unleashed. Another 104 Locust Fighter Wings were deployed from the group that was clinging to different parts of the Carrier. The Carrier still held 520 of these wings in reserve. The Fighters that were deployed here went directly for the second Kyrenaian Fleet, keeping themselves just outside the stream of fire coming from their own fleet, something they would have to enter when reaching the enemy fleet.

Captain! The enemy fleet are reopened fire on our allies they also seem to have release more swarm fighters! “Have ½ the fleet change to submunitions and have the Skether'qan Class Starship prepare firing solutions for area of effect and find the carriers, also forward that information to our allies. Ensign are we in range?” Coming in range in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. Captain: “Fire!” 52 shots arced away from the fleet traveling at 1/10 the speed of light. 500 meters out 26 of the 52 shot split open and thousands of small drone controlled bomblets flew toward the fighters while the rest smacked into the closest carrier.

This may or may not be a little bit of godmodding if so I'll just reduce the number of shots

The Sultana nodded.
"Can't really say, that I am surprised.", she told her son. "This is the most unenjoyable, unintelligent and unwise commander I ever had the pleasure with."
"So... I am allowed to...", Ilia began to say.
He was interrupted by one of his officers: "Sir, enemy launches fighters and builds up a massive..."
The Allat was shaken, as a carrier nearby, the Scorpion, was simply annihilated in one shot. The carrier was not destroyed, it had simply been blown away, together with a frigate nearby.
"Gods...", the officer said. "A... A... Anyway... larger fighter complement deployed, our new friends already reacted and began to open fire."
"From what I can see, they will meet Patrol Group 123, right?", Ilia asked.
"Yes, Sir."
"Then let them meet PG 123!"
One thing, that was always underestimated by any enemy was the pure and simple fact, what the PF-887-class Patrol Frigates were built for: For patrolling, especially against enemies using fighters of any shape and form. Their main utility for that were laser canons, 20 in fact.
PG 123 once numbered eight of these frigates. One of these were taken out by enemy capital fire, two were vaporized with the same shot, which blew away the Scorpion. And while the enemy concentrated on the capitals, the frigates turned to face the enemy and his fighters with all twenty laser.
As soon as they were in range, they opened fire and provided a continuing stream of high energy laser fire.

The remains of Redbeard's fleet meanwhile fought their way through the Nalydyan fleet.
It wasn't pretty. Many ships were damaged, even more quite heavily so - in the cases of the heavy cruisers, much of the weapon's fire was ineffective.
Many fighters, fighterbombers and the last few remaining bombers did their job against their enemy counterparts, holding off especially the Nuxipalians. They were not able to do anything for their wrecks left behind, except hoping for them already being dead, when they had time.
They didn't have it.
But one of their replenishment ships was hit quite heavily, especially at the engine. It drifted away from it's course, thanks to the codes a more then four kilometre long bomb of ammunition and fuel.
It blew up as it crashed into an enemy capital ship, blinding everybody looking at it. The Replenishment ship was not there anymore. What happened to the enemy capital had to be seen.

Orbit:
VRZ High Island:

"What is the fleet status," inquires the captain.
The admiral looks to a few displays and recalls certain reports. "Nezharekazh and Grazhnirüzhän types are nearing the end of their endurance," he notes. A message is sent to the fleet, and the displays change again. "Recalling them to the far side of High Island."
"Is that it?"
"No. Another fleet has arrived in the area."

Outside, the remaining smaller vessels begin to withdraw. One of them is shredded by a nearby explosion, apparently a ship that had drifted through the Array shielding and exploded inside. Elsewhere, the line battleship shifts ever so slightly to bring more of its guns to bear on the enemy. Overall, the amount of fire being lobbed downrange hasn't changed terribly much.

"What do you suggest, Admiral?"
"Looks as if the IKN are bringing out some of their heavier weaponry now."
"It does," he muses, "it does."
"Recall the gunships and equip them for anti-ship strike," he orders.

The order rapidly disseminates through the ranks. With the Locusts in the area, the Cholanrüchen begin their withdrawal, ending their local dogfights and making their way back to their carriers. A good 85 have been brought down by now.

VRZ Vast Shimmering Glacier:
Medical Bay:

A man lays silently on a medical cot. To his side, a few medics work feverishly to stabilize his condition. Already, nanites have been injected, and *waterbending-based healing administered. The room is eerily silent, save for an explosion rocking the vessel every now and then. These are fewer now, though. Overall, however, VRZ Vast Shimmering Glacier escaped serious damage. Then, a knock at the door.

Inside of the room, another pilot makes his way. He sports and bandage on his head, and a left arm in a sling. He maneuvers through the other cots to make his way to Kornat.

"How is he?"
"We've managed to stabilize his condition. I believe he should be fine."
"Good."

He recalls back to the crash landing. The flames had licked up into the cockpit. The entire left side of the plane had been engulfed, really...

"Hanüch, pull up a bit, we don't have enough clearance."
"Controls aren't responding! I'm trying. Damn it!"

The craft veers a bit, then clunks down.

"No gear! going to see if I can steer us a bit over..."
"You're going to need to bring us to a stop," calls back Kornat. He'd long since braced himself in his seat.
"Yea, I got it," calls up Hanüch.
"Got fire up here! Fuck, restraints are jammed," now with more concern than before. Fortunately, the gunship had come to a stop.
"Jettison the canopy."
"Might be able" - he smashes his fist against the mechanism, attempting to shake it free. No such luck. He coughs, then tries again - "Fucking thing's jammed too."

Smoke fills the pit, seeking its way into every nook and crevice. And Kornat fades into unconsciousness as the rescue crews arrive at the craft...

I assume since there are ponies & pegasi and unicorns in this RP, OP is fine with limited use of waterbenders. If not, that's fine too.

Fisherman's Wharf, Sobrik
Northern Sinovet

The crowds were long gone now. The scars of their panic stricken retreat filled the waterfront. Belongings were scattered randomly on the old cobblestone roads of Fisherman's Wharf. A Federal Marshall contemplated the scene, sitting alert atop an upset cart. His shotgun was within easy reach. Atop a nearby building, three ponies bearing the unmistakable black and white PDC uniform surveyed the horizon. The afternoon sun glared across the waters from the west. The Marshall observed as they dove down from the roof to a lower balcony, without warning. One readied a carbine, while the other two scuffled into the derelict building. Moments later, the Marshall's radio came alive, bearing warning of Clorinthian attack. Turning to the horizon, the Marshall glared at the distance. Indeed, a thin crust of grey lined the waters, where they met the sky. It was a huge Clorinthian fleet, right on Sobrik's doorstep. The Marshall grabbed his shotgun an dismounted his perch. He trotted to a cluster of nearby PDC officers and other Marshalls. The PDC moved off, and the Marshalls received separate orders. The defenders of Sobrik were spread thin. As the Clorinthian armada rounded the harbor breakwaters, several columns of Browncoats came to the waterfront from inland, and took up positions on the boardwalks and docks.

Screaming from the sky, a handful of Darts harried the formidable Clorinthian force. They hunted after the enemy's slower moving aerial craft, struggling to evade the mighty Clorinthian anti-air weapons trained on them. Flak bursts puffed like little white clouds all across the sky, hungering after the Darts as they weaved and bobbed. Explosions drew closer, as the Dart fled ever so slowly into the air over Sobrik. Now, the Clorinthians came directly towards the harbor at full speed. They descended upon Fisherman's Wharf, and soon lead was in the air. Guns swept the cobble stones, while the defenders hunkered down behind any available cover. Buildings were shredded, but still they remained unmoved. The Clorinthians landed, their tanks rolling from the warships docked in Sobrik harbor, accompanied by legions of grey uniforms. The Marshalls, the PDC and the Browncoats clutched their weapons ready, silently waiting as the enemy neared. When the prey was close, the city's defenders swung from cover, and they opened fire. The Battle of Sobrik had begun.

December 1st, 2013
4:58 PM
Majel Shipbreaking Yards, Korov
Northern Sinovet

The distant rumble of war was growing louder, ever so slowly. A row of massive rusting behemoths lay half disassembled, casting long shadows over an ominous scene below. A few dozen PDC officers, and several squadrons of Browncoats were trudging across the ship breaking yards of Majel, north of the city of Korov. A tank sat alone atop a nearby hillside, it's gun peering out over the waters of Korov Bay. The soldiers below entrenched themselves amongst the gutted ships, and they too peered out over the waters. Some whispered among themselves, behind their cover and deep in the dirt. They told each other it was safe here, and that the battle was sure to swing around the other way. But they all knew it was a lie. The enemy was gunning for shore, and they were brining the war with them. As the rumble of war grew ever closer, they were all forces to accept the reality. It wasn't long before the tank atop the hill began to fire haphazardly into the distance. It was only a matter of time now.

The bullets came in sheets, clanging like rain of the steel hulls of the ships scattered about the place. The PDC officers closed their eyes and made themselves slight. The Browncoats, however, remained unmoved. They stared over the mud of the ship breaking yard through their masks, waiting patiently for their first victims to come in range. The ships rumbled, and loose steel was shaken free and came down with a mighty crash. A handful of shells were scattered over the yard ever so often, but it was apparent the fire was being focused elsewhere. The throb of a helicopter soared high overhead. Dart swooped about, all over the sky. Sound like rolling thunder punctuated the naval battle out in the bay, nearing the shore with each passing moment. The war was almost upon Majel beach.

Violence spilled into Majel Ship Breaking Yards in an instant. Clorinthian solider made landfall, and within seconds they were riddled with holes. The Browncoats swept the flat ground with swathes of death, while the PDC with their Carbines attempted to shoot off any stragglers. The PDC wore no mask, but their faces were themselves masks, concealing the dread that was rapidly growing within with, every passing wave of the enemy. Survival seemed impossible against such odds. Every Clorinthian got a few steps farther than the last, and they just kept coming!
Even so, the reassuring pound of a tank gun continued to boom from atop the hill. The rumble of naval war still roared out in the bay. The Maritime Fleet was tenacious! The battle was far from lost. The throb of a Clorinthian helicopter was quickly joined by another pair of rotors, but these belonged to a Sinovetite craft. This new player lunged from the sky towards the enemy chopper.

The front line was worn thin. Now, only a handful of Browncoats remained alive, hunkered down in deep cover. Bullets and explosives raged above them, as the Clorinthians advanced up Majel beach. A handful had succeeded in creeping into cover, while their squads lay guttering in their own blood, strewn about in the mud. A Sinovetite tank, a threatening silver armor, burst through the gates and drove at full speed into the yard. It's main gun roared with furry that moved the air itself, and it tore into the advancing Clorinthians with righteous furry. Another tank was not long to appear in the muddy flats of Majel. The enemy seemed to falter. Their landing ships fled, one by one, and none returned to reinforce. The attack had been repelled! The defenders of Majel were hesitant to rejoice, however, and with good reason. Such a retreat so early on could mean only one thing. The Clorinthians had succeeded elsewhere. Now, with a Clorinthian beachhead established, the real battle would begin.

December 2st, 2013
1:45 AM
Grande Avenue, 23 km south of Taris
Western Sinovet

The 44th Federal Infantry was not alone in the night. Close squadrons of Browncoats, their sleeves emblazoned with Sinovet's insignia an the number 44, seemed to struggle to remain isolated from a mass of PDC soldiers and officers, as well as the occasional Federal Marshall who moved like a nomad from group to group. Columns of tanks were treated like parade floats, and every available inch was being used as a perch or a seat by those PDC and Marshalls hitching a free ride. The Browncoats trotted alongside, apathetic to the potential of rest offered by the unoccupied steel just meters away. Overhead, the occasional helicopter droned high in the sky, accompanied by the common streak of a Dart or two. On the flanks of the amorphous group known as the 44th Federal, other divisions marched, and adjacent to those groups, more. Together, the armies of Sinovet marched on to Redemption. The countryside was lit up with the light from every flashlight and every headlamp and floodlight. Hovering above the 44th, a lone attack helicopter surveyed the mighty sight. All it could see, from horizon to horizon, was a sea of scattered dots of light.

At first sight, there was nothing out of the ordinary on the surface of the sun. The luminosity of the massive ball of fusing gas was unhanged as yet, and the stellar skin of the celestial body was rounded and un-deformed. Nothing was unusual whatsoever, unless one looked a little deeper. Just above the star's photosphere, on the absurdly tiny quantum level, there were unorthodox happenings afoot. Surrounded by the usual chaos of inexplicable phenomena, there arose an unusual order. What appeared to be a natural wormhole was swelling exponentially. Within milliseconds, it was the size of a Carbon atom, and in a few more, it was 3 millimeters in diameter, radiation leaked from the tiny spherical anomaly, completely masked by that of the star all around it. Soon, however, the luminosity of that star began to decline. It was a tiny, localized change at first, but like the anomaly itself, it grew quickly. The South Pole of the sun was dropping by almost one millions watts in power output, one billion. The anomaly had grown utterly dark, sucking in the storm of energies all around it. Now, within he impossible little sphere, an umbilicus began to form through the fabric of space, driven by the power the hungry mouth was absorbing. The anomaly itself was almost a full meter wide when the umbilicus, flailing through an unseen plane of the universe, met the other end. Unquantifiable power flooded through the bridge. The sun's luminosity took a leap, climbing to just above normal. The anomaly opened wider and wider, releasing a massive wave of blue light, that was drowned out by the sun's own. As more energy flowed through, what is known as an Einstein-Rosen Bridge was born. A wormhole had come into existence.

The event horizon was almost 2 kilometers wide when at last the umbilicus stabilized. Clear light came through. Drowned it the tremendous blue glare of a blue giant star, billions of light ears away, an object began to traverse the stable bridge. Radiation seemed to bounce right of this object, reflected by some unseen force. The event horizon was 12 km wide as the object dove into the blinding soup of radiation that was the corona of our Sun. Coronal mass caressed the barriers that protected this mysterious object from bombardment. Whatever it was, the body that had emerged from the Sun was 74 km long, and very thin. Unmoved by thrust, the body somehow bent the space around it, pushing itself through this form of pseudo thrust from the star's gravity. 7 hours had passed since the first appearance of the wormhole when it collapsed on itself. Not long after that, the object rose above the stellar corona of the sun, an it's barriers became transparent. It was no natural object, evidently some bizarre craft. At the top of the spear-like vessel, there rested a sharp, round, bud-like head. The bud even seemed to have petals, which were thin, bladelike, and clamped down hard over some hidden commodity inside the head.

The thin body of the ship split into thousands of segments, which unfurled much like a flower. The ship continued to move away from the sun, and as it did, the unfurled segments formed a conical skirt behind the ship's head. The ship's barriers became translucent as they absorbed the force of tremendous acceleration. The fully unfolded craft bore mysterious glyphs and insignia, unseen by Earthly eyes. However, many eyes had seen those symbols, and most had fled as far as they would as soon as the recognized their meaning.

Byrcantum Kopaz

Deep within the unfurled vessel, a bizarre creature curled it's spindly body around it's nest of cables. It's own pseudo-metallic skin scraped noisily against the rough alloy that composed it's nest. A intricate soup of electro-magnetic radiation bombarded the creature's head, seeming into it's almost microscopic optical sensors, and through mechanically augmented neural pathways to the creatures brain. This organ was the one that distinguished this creature and it's kin from the rest of their star faring race. This organ was a finely tuned weapon of psionic destruction, the defining trait of the Byrcantum clan of the Kopaz. Now, the creature's formidable brain was being used as a cognitive center, not a weapon of terror. The creature surveyed data feeds, both though it's eyes and though direct interface with the ship. This creature was even more unique amongst it's race, as it was the pilot of this craft. Granted, it was a fairly small warship, but it was nonetheless fit for the front, which was why it had just emerged from a star so far from it's point of origin. So far from home.

The Byrcantum vessel was designated Totchkmari, bringer of fear. It had a very complex set of directives to guide it's behavior. Primary among these was the retrieval of one of many thousands of failsafe capsules deposited across the Milky Way Galaxy, known as the Rossem Spiral by the Kopaz Navigation systems. This capsule contained various technologies and datasets vital to the reconstruction of a Kopaz civilization in the event of collapse. It also contained the dataset necessary to render the Totchkmari a veritable warship, a necessary step in the ship's long list of objectives. The pilot of the vessel contemplated the relevant data on this region of space. Only one know faction. It was some salient group, designate "Sinovet". The beings that populated the territories of this faction were bizarre bags of skin warping flesh and organs and structural support into one. Locally referred to as "Ponies", or at times "Equines", these specific creatures had exchanged three volleys of communication through primitive radio systems with a Radiat Kopaz probe sweeping the area almost 24 years ago. This civilization had built it's highest sanctum, it's capital, directly over the failsafe capsule. The Totchkmari decelerated as it neared the planet of Sinovet, and-

How odd. There was only one unified faction on record, and yet...there were several distinct groups currently in orbit. And they appeared to be in combat. The Byrcantum Kopaz ship swept the planet. It was stunned to reveal many hundreds of seemingly distinct divided regions. It looked further, finding some were larger, or had superior infrastructure than others. The pilot wondered how this planet could have a stable balance of power with so may unbalanced groups. At last, the sensors found a Kopaz beacon, 34 km under the surface of the planet. Yes, that one was Sinovet. It had to be. But then, what was all this commotion in orbit, not to mention what appeared to be a hostile incursion on the territory of Sinovet? The pilot slowed further, entering into a slow orbit over the planet's only moon. The Totchkmari would bide it's time, process it's data, and only then make it's move, having observed and judged the situation, as any true Kopaz would do.

Scarborough Beach
Northern Sinovet

The Dropships and their 13 Destroyer Escorts hovered over the beach for a moment before the 40 large troop ships descended onto the surface. Charging out of them came 20,000 Octopus-like Cyhelenes coasted in a kind of bioarmor to both protect them from enemy fire and to allow them to live on land. They were armed with energy rifles which fired small purple bolts of plasma at their opponents. The Cyhelene infantry was supported by the escorting Locust fighters, most of which had flown off with 11 of the Destroyers to support the other landing zones. In total 20,000 Cyhelenes, 200 Locust Fighters, and 2 Destroyers reinforced the Clorinth Lines at Scarborough Beach.

Fisherman's Wharf, Sobrik
Northern Sinovet

As the Clorinth Fleet begins to engage the Sinovet forces another threat looms before the City. The vessel looked like a long stretched out metal tent with a command deck at the very rear of it. This was one of the two troop carriers arrives above the battlefield. While tiny compared to the other ship the IKN brought, the Nidhoggur class still was extensive coming in with dimensions of 16 Miles long, 7 Miles wide, 3 miles high. The downside of using the Nidhoggur was its lack of heavy weapons. It had only a few point defense weapons and could deploy troops, but as a warship it fell short. Fortunately, it only needed to deploy troops here. The first launch of troops was taking place as 200 of the large dropships began falling from the wide opening in the ship that was visible from the bottom. The second group of dropships also descended from the ship, 100 of them.

The first dropships were heading south of the city where they would form a barrier between the city and the rest of Sinovet. The second wave landed near in the western districts of the city, the dropships deploying their warriors directly into the city itself. The creatures which emerged from the Carrier were completely alien to the world. 12 foot tall monsters, many had horns sticking out of their head. Most had some kind of metallic armor over parts of, but not all of their body. Unlike the Cyhelenes who landed further east the weapons these creatures held were enormous to a normal sized being. Unfortunately they were only semi-automatic bolt action. On their positive side they fired enormous .50 caliber rounds. Most of them also carried shovels which they immediately put to use digging trenches. Also with the monstrous creatures were much smaller ones. These were on average 5' tall and appear like walking plants. They range in color greatly depending on their planet of origin and its soil content. They all carried similar rifles to those the Cyhelenes were using and appeared to be in command over the larger creatures.

In total 300,000 infantry were being deployed, 200k south and 100k west. There were many more where these came from aboard the ship, but those waited for any sign of success on the ground before being committed to combat here.

Second Infantry Transport

The transport had submerged itself a long distance south of Korov. It waited for the signal to be given.

Orbit

The Scattershot Ordinance is effective against the Locust fighters. The guidance systems brought them into contact with thousands of the fighters. Whenever a fighter had been hit twice(once shields, once hull) it was done for. Being in a swarm gave the locust fighters the ability to withstand such punishment though and the swarms continued on their assigned objectives using plasma bolts to attack enemy ships as well as chase Redbeard's fleet back from the Nalydian ships. As they did this the point defense lasers found it just as easy as the guided bombletts to destroy the fighters. The swarm sent after Redbeard's fleet was down to about half its total strength as its target was able to slip out of the Nalydian formation.

Nearby the IKN fleet moved forward passing beside the Nalydians. "Kel'anth, 26 rounds approaching the Command Ship. Overlay Shield should hold it off." Jeska looked at the ordinance and said, "Open a path in the Overlay Shields for those rounds. No need to give away the combined fleet shield on such few rounds." The officers oblige the command and the rounds pass through the outer most shield without any trouble. They find trouble on the inside of the shield as the Kinetic barriers reduce the speed of the round before impact.

The Impact came hardest in the area hit by the shots. The Iaso Carrier shuddered as its shields were flexed inward from the impact.

"Damage report from those shots?" Requested Jeska. "No skeletal damage Kel'anth. The shields held only a minor bruise. The Carrier will heal in time."

"Good. Respond to that attack. Lyssa Battlecruisers. Redirect fire to the Tau(edit is here) Ships. Gwarm Cruisers continue Agni Cannon assault and add the Tengri Cannons to the assault now. We are preparing to mix formations with the enemy."

The orders were carried out. And indeed the fleet was approaching the Kyrenaian fleet with alarming speed. The Iaso had taken a position to place it directly above the Allat when the fleets mixed formations and close range and individual ship fighting began. The Tengri Cannons that began firing were a smaller version of the Agni cannons, where the Agni Cannons fired 460kg of Plasma with each bolt the Tengri Cannons fired 46kg bolts but at a rate that was twice as fast as the larger guns. With each Gwarm Cruiser having 39 Agni cannon and 169 Tengri Cannons the out pour of fire was immense.

The Nuxipal Battlecruisers, of which there are 4, opened fire with their own mass accelerator weapons. They fired in rotating shifts their MAC guns in a matter that 13 rounds were going towards the enemy fleet every second. In addition to this the Larger Storm Rail Guns on the ships would fire once every 10 seconds to add 8 total larger rounds to the barrage.

The Iaso was gaining a launch vector to strike the new enemy fleet with a missile swarm when the threat detection alarm went off. A mass had just appeared and moved rapidly to the planet's moon and was holding position there. The gravitational irregularities produced on the planet's moon were similar to those you would see when a starship was in close proximity. Jeska couldn't risk letting her guard down, "Halt missile strike process. Continue with Agni Cannon strikes on the newcomers fleet. Launch a pair of additional probes to the far side of that moon. Polar and equatorial orbits. I want visual on the mass that just appeared." The Iaso's Agni cannons scream out as they return fire on those that fired on them.

Jeska now activated her ground display to watch the invasion process on a holoboard.

The enemy fleet approached really fast, so fast in fact, that the Prince, now on his bridge again, was... not in the least surprised. After all, he just witnessed a 74 kilometres long, unidentified spaceship approach.
I want one of these ships!, he still thought, before he turned to the helmsman. "I guess it is time for full reverse gear! And signal the fleet appropriately!"
"Full Reverse, coming!"
Normally, these engines were used in docking meneuvers and not in combat, but if they learned one thing from their allies, then it was, that improvisation was sometimes a far better weapon. Also, throwing a manual at the enemy could prove quite effective.
"Enemy tries cutting through the main line!", an officer reported calmly.
Ilia nodded. "Would do the same.", he spoke to himself.
Nuxipalians didn't seem to be too kind. Instead of simply letting them deal with the Nalydyans first and then collect their fair share, they had to interfere. Fighters weren't a problem, it seemed to be highly reminiscent to the sport of turkeyshooting for PG 123, but capitals proved a problem at any time.
Now, breaking an enemy by breaking his main line was always a good idea. But what, if there wasn't a main line to break?
"Signal the fleet - scatter into Battle Sqadrons on my mark."
"Fleet signals readiness!"
The Prince breathed in to give the order, but suddenly, a voice cut through: "Redbeard's fleet is engaging the enemy from his backside!"
In fact, while many ships were heavily damaged, many of them were still capable of fighting. Many barely so, but still. From the once proud fleet under the old Grand Admiral's command was not much left, namely five Battlecruisers Yatagan-class, fifteen Heavy Cruisers Utica-class (sturdy old basterds, which they were), the same number of Light Cruisers Rasha-class, eight Aussault Frigates AF-102-class, nine Patrol Frigates PF-887-class and exactly one Replenishment Ship RS-22-class.
The rest had been slaughtered, including all Sultan-Süleyman-class battlecarriers.
But now wasn''t the time to mourn the lost men and women. Now was the time to take revenge, time and time again, until the enemy was taken apart.
"Good.", Ilia said with a smirk. "Mark! Tell the fleet to make evasive maneuvers and to concentrate fire on the son of a dog in the middle! And concentrate everything capable of holding a torpedo on it!"
His oders were carried out and with a surprisingly high maneuverability of a ship it's size, the Allat and the ships like her began to move away from the line, showing their broadside to the enemy, as well as the still fresh shields in this section.
From all sides the Kyrenaian fleets, both Redbeard's Remains as well as the Sultana's Personal Fleet, began to pound on the ship, which was most likely the Nuxipalian Flagship.

Around the same time, as message was sent to the new arrival:
Greetings.
This is KNS Allat of the Sultanate of Kyrenaia. You are currently in a warzone between the nations of Sinovet and Clorinth, as well as their respective allies. Please state your alignment or retreat.
The Sultanate is on the side of Sinovet.

Sir! Incoming fire from the Nuxipal’s! Shields and deflectors holding but I don’t know how long they will last. Our last salvo seem to only to minor damage to there carrier. And our allies are concentrating fire on the Capital ship. (Captain mutters to himself) “So there a bit tougher than planned.”(to the Ensign) “Contact the Du Fio'tak and her escorts and tell them to get out of here with the ethereal. Get us into main battery range, load the torpedo tubes with emp torps, launch the fighters, switch all rail guns to solid slugs and get me a firing solution on there Capital ship’s weak point. Also rout the targeting information to our allies.” Coming into range in 10 seconds. Captain: “Do we have a Weak point identified?” Yes. “Tell the fleet to concentrate fire on that point. And to continue firing until it dies or I give the word. Now fire on my mark…Mark!” Once again the tau fleet opened up. This time the 52 long range Railgun shots were augmented with regular rail gun shots, ion cannon shots and emp torpedoes.

"Our friends are sending target solutions!", an officer called from the bridge. "They say, that it's a weakpoint!"
Another officer picked it up: "It is."
Silence, as the whole bridge crew of the Allat turned to the Prince.
He shrugged. "Well, what are you waiting for?! Hit it's weakpoint for maximum damage! And signal the fleet and the Remains in accordance!"
Immediately, they weren to work.

6:43 AM Relative Terrestrial Time
High Lunar Orbit

The nerve center of the bio-mechanical Totchkmari was alive with though and data, coursing though it's compound mind. The ship was using it's own space-time well as an antenna to probe the fabric of space around it. Two small craft from one faction, most likely probes, approached rapidly from across the plant's moon. Totchkmari was intently observing them, sweeping them again an again with EM pulses. They appeared to be unmanned, which signified they would be carrying some sort of computerized guidance system, if anything. On the other hand, the skirmish between the orbital fleets was taking interesting turns. What appeared to be the flagship of one group, labeled group B, was being attacked heavily by groups A and C. There were also concerning developments on the planetary surface. The incursion of Sinovet intensified. It was possible foreign incursion could place the Failsafe capsule in jeopardy, setting back the Totchkmari's agenda until it could locate an secure another capsule. The pilot of the Totchkmari considered the situation. There was a fourth group as well, group D. All sensors indicated groups A and C were co-operating, while B and D allied themselves against them. Interesting patterns of behavior. It was quite unlike the massive free for all the Totchkmari was used to.

Suddenly, a pulse of EM radiation in the radio range tapped the Totchkmari's outer impasse. The tap was translated through the impasse and into on of the ship's receptor arrays. The pilot began analysis of the EM burst. It proved impossible. The data was illegible, unlike anything the Totchkmari had ever encountered before. It appeared to be some sort of communication, judging by the patterned nature of the waves, but it was unlike any language in the Kopaz database. It would seem that there was some fundamental difference in the way these beings processed information. How to bypass this problem? The Totchkmari continued to survey the planetary system, watching the oncoming probes. The probes...that was it! The pilot had a breakthrough, and quickly relayed commands to the ship. This pseudo-metallic creature had proves once again the value of independent thought. The Totchkmari was still constrained by protocol and inlaid programming but the pilot was free of any such barriers. And now, it paid off.

The Totchkmari would have seemed oddly still to the outside eye. The invisible cocoon of energy impasses and static barriers masked the ship's massive EM signature, and concealed the Totchkmari's inner workings from the oncoming probes. To them, the ship would have seemed just an unnaturally sleek and intricate piece of dormant metal, floating in lunar orbit. This illusion would be broken very abruptly, when the very space around the probes folded in on them. As it did, they would have caught a miniscule glimpse, a snapshot of the Totchkmari's colossal EM output. Then, they were pulled through the folds towards the foreign vessel. The slipped through the impasse, and were moved in close to the ship. They were deposited in what looked like a fortified pore on the collar section between the ship's budlike head and skirt of long segments. Isolated from the outside, the probes were released from the special fist that had gripped them. Inside their new prison, there was void. Before the probes could make a single move, a long and thin silver needle punctured through the metal husk on one, and another needle did the same with the other. Kopaz nanites flooded the small craft. Their microscopic probing arms clambered all about the probe's computer, scanning and dissecting it. In minutes, the little ships had been consumed by the little machines. With newfound data, Totchkmari directed the nanites to reconstruct the computers. The machines reprinted their data into physical form. Yes, this was perfect. The ship knew their computers now. From this, it might extrapolate linguistic properties, method of cognitive though, etc. It Began work of the encryption immediately.

Orbit:

The area around the VRZ High Island begins to grow less turbulent. Yes, it would seem the two sections of the Kyrenaian fleet have decided to switch their focus. The break in volume-of-fire is taken in stride by the Pords. Already, on many of the ships that have taken damage, their LNS goes to work, repairing itself, and fleshing out any damage. Even on the VRZ High Island, this takes place, although the damage here is... Minuscule

As the Kyrenaian fleet switches focus, the Cholanrüchen gunships from before have finished their rearming. The form up in their attack wings and set a course for the remaining heavy cruisers and battlecruisers.

The captain: "Kyrenaian forces are now focusing on the IKN... How strange."
"Bring the bows around, Captain. We're disengaging from this area and opening a line of fire between us and the new fleet that has arrived."
"Tasinehdao," replies the captain.
"Admiral! Admiral! New sensors readings! Massive object has arrived & taken up residence near the primary satellite here." Sensors Officer.
"On screen?"
"No, we don't have any visuals. Active scanning has also proved unfruitful."
"Alright. Keep me posted on its position and whereabouts. We'll need to keep an eye out," finishes the admiral.

Deep in the hangar bay, the ZJR elements have completed setting themselves up. Their landing craft steam out and away from the Nalydian fleet, setting a course for planetside. One of the remaining rift cruisers - Y-898 - is attached to their formation to escort them through the atmosphere to their landing zones.

This time a larger assault was coming at the IKN forces. "Keep Overlay Shields up. Destroyers, do your thing. Take down the enemy torpedoes. All others, we have a clear path to the Tau Fleet. Give them the storm." The Kyrenaian fleet had dispersed, which was disappointing. Jeska was hoping to board their command craft and capture their leaders.

This was done immediately. The Destroyers began launching their Class H-C AM missiles towards the on coming strike. Detonations of both the EMP and AM missiles took place cancelling the two strikes out. The incoming enemy rounds began hitting the Overlay Shield beyond the dust cloud from the missile detonations. To the surprise of the Tau instead of hitting the carrier they were reporting hitting a barrier hundreds of kilometers from the ship. Something the initial volley did not hit.

Onboard the Iaso Carrier Jeska watched the thin Overlay Shielding take hits. At 25% she ordered it down and for the light ships to recharge while the Iaso would take the hits. The enemy fleet was firing at the 'weak spot' (assuming you mean the area you hit before) began hitting with pretty high degree of accuracy. Again the shells were slowed as they approached and impact after impact did the same thing as the original volley until near the end of that volley a hole in the shield opened up. The Damage to the outer layers of the ship looked gruesome. A crater just about 400m deep had formed revealing a metallic skeletal structure beneath the softer outer hull. A few additonal rounds hit this metal putting cracks in it, but not penetrating all the way through. After the volley ceased and the damage was done the 97km carrier cringed in pain. Almost without hesitation It launched a missile swarm, minus a Class H-A pod that had been where the weapons impacted.

Following suit the Lyssa Battlecruisers and the Gwarm Cruisers launch an all out missile swarm following the 20 wave system of before. The additional missiles would give the Iaso time to finish changing out the Battery for the Havok Energy Cannon. Below the Carrier the rest of the swarm waited, out of sight
