Nevermore, Imperial Republic of America. 19 November 2108

Less than an hour after the announcement had been named, the Minister of Foreign Affairs gave a publicised statement showcasing that the Imperial Republic recognised the Kingdom of Georgia, and that His Imperial Majesty Maximilian would go personally to Tbilisi for the Coronation.

Within hours of the Empire's announcement, France, it's clients, Britain, Persia, Mali, and Greece also made their declarations of support to the new Kingdom, with the Kings of Britain, Greece, Mali, and Persia also announcing their decision to attend the Coronation.

Moscow, Eurasia. 19 November, 2108
*Meanwhile, Rostov announced that Eurasia would not recognize Bagrationi as the King and instead said they would only recognize the old President as the only true leader of the Republic of Georgia. Other nations like Yugoslavia, South America, Azerbaijan, Kurdistan, and China backed Eurasia's claim.*

Tanner: "William Tanner."
Larson: "Anything else? Where were you born? Where do you live? What political party are you a part of? What's your blood type?"
Tanner: "I don't know..."
Larson: *He smiled.* "Good." *He took out a phone and called someone.*

Tbilisi, Georgia. 21 November, 2108

Two days later, the Emperor's personal airship floated down towards the Capital of Georgia. He exited the ramp following the Praetorian, trailed by his Ministers and their Staffs. He was met on the runway with his fellow monarchs. The relatives exchanged greetings before they were led to the place where the Coronation would occur. As the group moves, they are joined by the Presidents of Korea, Burma, and the United Arab Republic. Even with Eurasia and its allies refusing to recognise the Kingdom of Georgia, the Imperial Republic and its allies held enough political clout to at least prevent Eurasia from having the rest of the UN going to its side. At present, it seemed, that it would be a disputed issue that would not be resolved, but that didn't necessarily hurt the Empire.

In any event, the Emperor was already planning for the future as he and his allies waited for the Coronation. In a little over a week many of these same people would be meeting in Versailles to cement an alliance, one that would have great power and clout. His economic policy, soon to be implemented, would secure its position, and with some of the best militaries on Earth, it gave Maximilian power to expand his ambitions into Space.

*Also arriving at the ceremony, a little surprisingly, was the aging Viceroy of Canada, Jack Corrigan. He wanted to see the coronation for himself, and hopefully gain favor with the Emperor for his visit. To perform the Coronation was the Catholicos- Patriarch of All Georgia would be the one to proclaim Bagrationi as the new King. Once all the world leaders and other guests had arrived, the Ceremony began inside the Royal Palace. The Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia presented the crown to Eduard. He placed the crown on Eduard's head.*
Patriarch: "I pronounce you His Majesty, the Most High King Eduard I, King of Kings of the Abkhazis, Kartvelians, Ranians, Kakhetians, and the Armenians, Shirvanshah and Shahanshah and Master of all the East and West."
*The audience applauded King Eduard who stood over all of them in full Royal regalia.*

The Imperial Family and their allies clapped for the new addition to Nobility. Maximilian, for his part, had great expectations for Georgia. When the ceremony was concluded, the Emperor went to speak with the Viceroy of Canada.

"Your Excellency, I am very pleased to see that you could make it. How is your House?"

With a bow, the Emperor left the conversation with the Viceroy and made his way to where the new King was.

"Your Majesty, I must congratulate you. I also invite you to join in my little summit that will be taking place in Versailles soon. Georgia will benefit greatly from entering into a formal alliance with the Imperial Republic."

Versailles, France. 29 November, 2108

The day for the Summit had come. Arriving at Versailles was King Arthur and Prime Minister Henry Roarke, representing the UK, King William representing Mali, King Alexander and Prime Minister Agamenon Lekas, representing Greece, Shah Kambiz of Persia, the Prime Ministers of Italy, Spain, Portugal, Tunisia, the Presidents of Korea, Vietnam, and Burma. They all filed into the Hall of Mirrors where the Emperor, Grand Vizier, and Prime Minister of France were waiting.

His fellow Monarchs bowed in rejoinder. Maximilian then began.

"We have now all assembled, a coalition of forces that encompasses the better part of the world. We stand in opposition to the forces of social Liberalism, Socialism, and Communism, and to give order to what would else be an orderless world. I propose to you today the signing of a new and relevant economic, political, and military treaty and would give our ideology teeth in the United Nations against our opponents. This treaty outlines no member may important goods or resources from any other State but the members of our Pact of Steel, and goods imported by member States will be sold cheaper than to non member States. It also requires member States to come to the aid of any member state subject to an armed attack. The Imperial Republic and French Empire also agree to provide subsidised loans to developing member States to improve their infrastructure and industry."

The Emperor nodded.

"I'm glad you bring that up, Your Majesty. Simply put, the BTO may not agree with everything Eurasia and co does, but they do little to oppose it directly. By us taking a hard stance on all, we show the world we do not need anyone else, that we can become self sufficient on our on. That is the ideal, Eduard, for each member of the Pact to be an economic powerhouse that relies on itself, and sharing in that wealth with the Pact."

"We can only hope that our fellow States in the BTO see the light and join us as well."

With that, the Grand Vizier produced the treaty for the States to sign. Along with the policies Maximilian discussed, it also outlined that each State would send two delegates to form the Pact of Steel Council, a governing body that would help facilitate decisions and propose policies for the leaders to decide upon. The members signed the treaty

Rostov: "So, what do you think of my proposal?"

Jiang: "...When will we meet?"

Imperial Palace, Nevermore, Imperial Republic of America. 30 November 2108

The Emperor was busy since his return trip from Versailles signing into law several new bills that authorised the beginning of his domestic overhaul. Thanks to his perhaps shady deal with the largest tycoons in the Imperial Republic, road, highway, and bullet rail construction would be commencing in his African Prefectures, employing tens of thousands of local worker. Moreover, work was done to build several trans-continental rails in America, connecting every major city in North and Central America in a continuous line of high speed rails.

The Grand Vizier bowed as he entered Maximilian's office, bowing as usual.

"Your Imperial Majesty, we have confirmation Rostov was in Beijing today."

"It matters little, Your Eminence."

He handed his brother an envelope, which he opened and read swiftly. His eyes grew large

*Larson and Tanner arrive at the Building. They were taken to the Director's office. There, they met an older looking man. He was balding and had a short beard. His face was scared. He smiled a bit.*
Man: "Larson, I see your last hunting trip went well."
Larson: "Yes it did. Mr. Tanner, this is Alfred Royce, Director of the FBI. Mr. Royce, I'm pretty sure you know who Tanner is."
Royce: "Of course I do. Mr. Tanner, it's good to see you again."
Tanner: "Have we met?"
Royce: "Yes. Now, from what I've heard, you don't remember anything."
Tanner: "That's correct."
Royce: "Good, we're going to nee you than. You see, President Myers has recently extended our powers. He has given us the authority to assassinate anyone in the Federation of East America who is deemed a threat to National security. Knowing your past, you are going to join us as part of what is being called Operation Mockingbird. As long as assassinating threats to the nation, you will also be a spy and spy on similar people."
Tanner: "...And if I refuse?"
Royce: "They always ask that Ken. I'll never understand their use of such a cliched term. If you refuse, you will be arrested for treason, murder, arson, and attempted assassination. You will be put on trial, found guilty, and executed. Your closest living relatives shall also be arrested for assisting a traitor and we will keep a close watch on anyone else you know and love until they mess up and we swoop in and take them down."
Tanner: "....Alright. Where do I go?"

Palace of the Senate, Nevermore, Imperial Republic of America. 30 November 2108

Later that day, the Senate assembled and voted, officially creating the Ministry of Celestial Affairs. With a budget of $300 Billion Dollars, it would handle the Empire's Colonies on the Moon and the outposts on Mars. Moreover, it was announced that the the Imperial Republic's artificial colony, existing halfway between Mars and Earth, was completed and would be launched early in 2109, full staffed and ready for habitation.

FBI Building, Washington DC, FEA. 30 November, 2108
*The two men walked down into the basement. There was a large training room, they were the only ones there.*
Tanner: "So, I knew that man?"
Larson: "Yes, a long time ago."
Tanner: "Tell me, with this training...will I be able to tell when someone is lying?"
Larson: "Yes, that is part of the training...why?"
Tanner: "Oh, I guess that part of the training isn't that great." *He hit Larson in the back of the head. Larson fell down while Tanner grabbed his gun. He aimed it at Larson.*
Larson: "Smart son of a bitch."
Tanner: "Why Larson? Why did you try to kill me?"
Larson: "It was all part of Mockingbird Bill. You were deemed a threat to National Security. Believe me, I didn't want to kill you, Royce convinced me it had to be done."
Tanner: "So, what if I deem you a threat to Nation Security?"
Larson: "Please Bill...don't kill me."
Tanner: "Sorry...friend. I'm sure Selina will miss you." *He fired the gun.*

Imperial Palace, Nevermore, Imperial Republic of America. 30 November 2108

Back in the Palace, the Emperor met with the Court in the large Throne Room.

"My Court, in a few short months our Empire will extend to the Heavens. At that moment, we will achieve what no other civilisation has done. 20,000 of our Citizens will live and work there to build for us a new future. Soon, Mars will be ours as well. Our outposts there have revealed that with enough encouragement, we can bend the aether to be perfect for human life."

There was conversation at this. Was that even possible?
