Everyone has diffrent requirements, but its really simple: a MT alliance wants to be MT. There is legit no other way to make that happeb unless you add barriers.

I don't know I guess people think their are just too many alliances that are similar, and from what I have been hearing some very large alliances are becoming belligerent, though I don't know for sure since I have been to busy to pay attention to many things on the NS RP forums

That is not true, large alliances like the UL are totally peaceful!

There's a nice little trick in ehich the UL calls political isolation. Basically, if you overlap in other allinces, it uses a multitude of tricks to make the other overlapping alliances neutral. Such as the Monarchists would loose a big chunk of membership, and get the IFA upset by dragging it into it. UAS signed a treaty requiring no overlap... dead.

Supporting alliances of thd icolated one commonly die by starving themselves, go inactive, or fight in the war when both are super weak.
