Operation Sovereign Right II, the mop-up operation to clear Cauja, was having quite some success. Despite missiles from IYFs forces, the clean-up was going as planned. Despite the supposed Ontorisan resurgence, the Ontorisans were small in number, barely holding on to regimental organization. Estimates put total Ontorisan strength, including untrained insurgents, at 30.000 men, or which only about 15.000 would be regulars from the Army. Cauja was largely secure, save for the occasional car bomb. Ethnic Ontorisans were arrested, then stuffed onto military cargo planes and sent towards Ruolnik, were the government would purchase them tickets to Calvisburg. The operation was going successfully: 355.000 had already been deported to Ruolnik, and a further 485.000 were arrested and would not be able to join the insurgency. This left a very small pool of about 200.000 Ontorisans, of which only about 150.000 would be able to fight, from which insurgents could be drawn, and the government was already working on arresting those people, while Lollohian militia units patrolled the streets.

Over Lolloh
Hundreds of cargo planes were now conducting daily airlifts, sending millions of tonnes of supplies into Dekkar and other cities. The famine was easing.

Election Results Announced!
Dekkar, Lolloh - Today, LPC officials disclosed election results for Parliament in a press conference. Voter turnout was 97%, the highest ever. Almost everyone in the country who could voted. The election results have been confirmed as accurate, and the new MPs will be sworn in to Parliament within one week to resume normal functions. The Social Democratic victory will likely result in continued fighting against foreign occupiers, though many believe that the Neutralist Party will filibuster a vote for continued fighting. The Neutralists believe that a "peace with honor" can be reached between all the powers involved, including a withdrawal from Lolloh and an open border.

Clean up operations around Minx continued unabated, the 24/7 curfew enforced to the maximum. There were some street extrajudicial executions, but none video tapped. The losses increased to 26,708 civilians along with 4 dead Firmadores peacekeepers.

President-for-Life Amar has recently declared a unilateral transfer of yearly aid into a "Lollohian Food Fund" at 56,000,000 dollars. Urban agricultural programs were flourishing as a mass of imported Firmadores hydrophonic equipment has been distributed among most of the population of Dekkar. Supplementary engineer groups and experienced agricultural advisers are now going door-to-door in Dekkar and teaching people how to use their small property, sometimes as little as a window shed, to boost their total agriculture output. Stations around Dekkar have been set up to hand guns out to the Lollohians, after a review of their citizenship card, and their family members. The purchase of domestic producing hydroponic equipment factories by the government from contracted private enterprises has created an estimated 56,000 jobs and buoyed the cost of said equipment which was on the rise, and eventually shrunk its costs considerably. This has helped ameliorate the Commonwealth-at-Arms' own micro-famine since the embargo of food stuffs from the traitorous Ruol pretender state.

The Lollohian Food Fund will be managed by workers of the Workers' Vault (the central bank of Firmador) and will mostly have to do with finding global food sellers willing to partially subsidize their grain exports to Lolloh in an effort to end the Ruol-created famine. This transfer is in no way constructed a loan, but as a small pension to the member of the global New Progressive Order. There is some talk of an international delegation being attempted to be brought together and officially adjudicate on the Elescu dispute, hopefully calming down much of the chagrin each nation feels against each other. A small section of the Fund, 1,000,000 yearly, will be conducting an international campaign to raise awareness of the jingoist policies of Ruolnik and their jactitation on the bread basket of Elescu which has caused this nation's and our brothers in Lolloh such invidious crises. They will be mostly targeting Romberg and Mitheldaland wholesale population, known semi-sympathizers to the cause of the New Progressive Order and fighters against the despotic regimes like Inyourfacistan and the Lost peoples.

Worry had come over the AFL troopers in Minx. Apparently, they had found out about the tapings. Actually, those tapings had been made on cellphones, but fortunately hadn't been sent. Mock-executions were performed, and civilian bodies, dressed up in Lollohian uniforms, were handed over to the peacekeepers in the city. Meanwhile, the actual soldiers were simply told not to discuss the matter, while the recordings were digitally transmitted into the LIS central database.

A twenty ship long convoy stuffed to the brim with hydroponics equipment and technical personnel was heading towards the coast of northern Lolloh. The value of their cargo was immense, it could possibly end the famine itself, but there were worries among the crew and captaincies of whether the Inyourfaceistanis would turn them back. None of them were using a nuclear engine, just old diesel of which they didn't have enough to make a return voyage, even if they dumped all of the precious capital into the ocean. As well, they were lucky themselves to have made the trip without being confiscated by pirates and even if they could make the return trip it'd be an every present threat. Firmador couldn't have sent an escort, relations between the Iffies (parlance) were past the point of deteriorated and that would likely had instigated an outright military conflict. The effective "admiral" of the convoy hailed whomever was the shore authority just 20 kilometres out from shore, "This is Hydropaniks, contractor for the export of our agricultural equipment to Lolloh. We also have men on board trained to teach how to install and work the equipment."

New Elescu

Ever since the invasion into Lolloh had stopped due to an Inyourfaceistani victory, the I.L forces had remained in control of New Elescu. It soon became clear that the corrupt Lollohian Government would not meet the demands required to have New Elescu returned to them, so acts were quickly taken to solve rapidly growing problems.

First off martial law was declared and upheld by several companies. This, although not perfered, had to occur due to the LPC's idiotic acts against the I.L invasion. Seeing as the LPC was no longer fit uphold the law, let alone their own lives, all remaining LPC officers that had been captured were declared Unfit for Service and promptly deported to Ruolnikian POW camps.

The next act was quiet simple. Economic and political experts were brought in from Isle of Lost to fix the problem that New Elescu was being run solely by the military. After several days of discussions on the "Socialist or Not-Socialist" topic of government style for New Elescu, the experts (now called the Commitee of Government ((CoG)) delcared their first act. The "Opt" Act would come to create the greatest middle ground government yet.

This government, named the "New Elescuian Provincial Government" or (NEPG). Although the name was based of of Elescu's EPG, it's government style was not. The "Opt" act allowed for both far-left and far-right policies to exist. It did this by effectively allowing the people to "Opt" for what kind over government style THEY perfered.

The new "Opt" forums gave the citizens of the NEPG a choice on what they wanted their money to go too. The forums included government taxing profiles that could be checked on and off to create a personalized tax and benifit style. For example: People who want their children to go to Public Schools can check the option. Their taxes will increase, but they will recieve the right to use the public schools. People who want to us private schools can put an "X" in the box and have lower taxes. At the cost that they have to pay for private schools ofcourse.

All in all, there were 5 catagories to check or X. Welfare, Education, Public Transport, Health Care, Enviroment and Admininstration. Defense and Law Enforcement are considered "un-Opt-able" although the NEPG is deciding whether or not an "invasion" zone should be created to send people if they opt out of Defense.

New Elescu
In fact, the New Elescuan LPC detachment was still composed of roughly 30.000 officers, more than enough to successfully govern the province. However, they now went in plain clothes, concealing their guns, though everyone knew who they are. People ignored the supposed NEPG, considering it too choked up in red tape, and instead continued to rely on the federal government, which had for long asserted direct federal control over all the provinces.

Dekkar
The 3rd Tyvar Group had finally reached Dekkar, and began to surround the city. It would be easy, considering that they only had to occupy it on three sides, then blockade the rivers by sinking a few ships. SAM sites were built, including underground bunkers into which they could move into once they had fired their missiles. The decision was to wait for an IYF response, then react in turn.

Dekkar
Hydroponics equipment had been distributed, and the famine had largely subsided. Protests had also subsided, so that only 20 million were still protesting. However, the Firmadores had given Lolloh 10.000 military advisers, 500 tanks, and 300 planes, which were quickly sent to the 3rd Tyvar Group.

Kulgis Isles
The Isles were now being handed over to Isle of Lost. Most of the personnel on the islands had left, though 10.000 men and 8 destroyers remained, along with the 115-strong Embassy staff. The IL flag was raised over the island, while people in New Elescu rejoiced at being finally free.

Kulgis Isles in General

A layer of morning mist hung heavy above the Kuglis Islands. The previous night the Isle of Lost flag had been raised over the islands by Lollohian forces and officals. The morning fog, however, did not concile the roar of aircraft as they flew in.

I.L marine C-142s coming off from naval assets in the Ruol Sea flew into the mist and landed at designated landing zones. The intial marine forces were being landed to secure the area and Lollohian forces while the acctual naval taskforce landed at their own designated locations.

Vertissal, Jakkar Island

Once again it appeared Lolloh believed they should be allowed to have an Embassy... with a nation they are at war with. This did not settle well for the I.L marine command who first landed in the Kulgis. The surrender of the Lollohian navy in the Kulgis had gone remarkably well, so it was hoped that the idoitic Lollohian diplomats would surrender with ease too.

When the Kulgis offically came under I.L control when the marines arrived, the embassy was surrounded, but no demands were made or listed. It wasn't until 2 hours later when LAV-25s and APC-05s arrived from one of the now landed fleets that the marines listed their demands.

New Elescu

With their demands now met, the I.L 8th Infantry Division began it's treck back over the DMZ. Armored cores stayed behind and protected the columns of soldiers and supplies as they went back over the DMZ. The move back to Elescu was swift, but not as fast as it would have been if the Lollohian goverment would have met their demands earlier.

Kulgis
The people hated the ILs, due to their arrogant nature. Protestors surrounded the Lollohian Embassy, refusing to let IL troopers come towards the Embassy. The people of the Kulgis's had a very Lollohian culture, and hated the surrender to IL in the first place, and began mass demonstrations for independence, including occupying resorts, hotels, and port facilities to deny them to the ILs for their use.

The troops in Dekkar now set in for a long seige. Roadblocks could be found on almost every street, and troops with shoulder-launched anti-tank and anti-air missiles had moved into the upper stories and rooftops of certain buildings. Scouts and snipers were identifying targets of priority for latter airstrike from a short distance. Smart mines were rampant, and the combat engineers had planned ways to cut off all major choke points if needed. M-6 Linebackers and 9K22 Tungskas patrolled the streets, while tanks kept ready for deployment at a moments notice.

Paratroopers were busy being loaded into their respective cargo planes. Another large-scale paradrop was about to take place, and this one would be a lot hotter than the last. Reports were that a massive concentration of Lollohian troops were headed for Dekkar, and now it was time to crush the enemy once and for all. If the enemy could be crushed here and now, it would effectively be a major blow to both their national ego and physical ability, and a final end to the war would be one step closer...

Already, a massive wave of B-2 bombers had departed for the conflict, ready to make the night a living hell for all enemy forces.

The flight of F-16's and their escorts were fast approaching the Heratorian fleet. They had been in predictable enemy long-range SAM proximity for some time now, but no shots had been fired as of yet.

The aircraft pushed for the 67nmi (124km) mark, ready to launch their anti-ship missiles at the Heratorian fleet threatening both Cauja and Ruolnik...

The mid-sized armada had finished its final preparations, and began the process of departing from the deep-water port in southern Ruolnik. In a few days time, they would be within striking distance of the enemy...

Dekkar
The 3rd Tyvar Group had completely surrounded Dekkar on three sides, the last one being a blockaded river. 3rd General Harruki had ordered all mobile SAMs to build underground tunnels where they could go after firing their loads. Most had been completed. Radar had spotted a wave of bombers approaching the area, about 80 or so. A total of 400 missiles were fired from 40 SAM batteries, which quickly retreated into their underground layer. Crews were equipped with oxygen masks, in case enemy fire sucked out the air in the tunnels. The decision was to wait the IYFs out, Dekkar being too densely populated to be the target of a direct military assault. The idea was to attrition the IYFs to impotence, or force their hand in a major battle outside the city. Lollohian forces outnumbered IYFs forces almost 10 to 1.

Unfortunatly for the Lollohians, more people hated them than they did the Merickians. The Merickians had made it clear they simply wanted a military base or two in the Kulgis to allow prevent Lollohian operations RUOL Sea, and that besides that the people would get their own government and live their own lives.

It was because of this, that riots broke out in the streets as angry mods threw rocks and held up signs in anger against the Lollohian regime. The biggest fact that brought all the people that were "On-the-fence" over to the Merickian's side is that they realized if Lolloh stayed war would come to the Kulgis. Even the twisted Lolloh Gazette showed the spoils of war in Lolloh, and the people of Kulgis didn't want that to happen to them.

All in all the Anti-I.L protests were outnumbered 3 to 1 on the streets of Jakkar. Each Island tended to think slightly differently, but the over-all consenuse was either "No Lollohian", or the most population "Neither!".

Although the riots slightly disturbed the Marines, it didn't effect the operation at all. The LAV-25s fired 25mm shots around the embassy as a warning. On the ground, the marines readied themselves to bust into the embassy. A final demand was made.

Kulgis
Thousands came out to protest the IL conquest, demanding independence in the thousands, clogging the streets and preventing military operations. Protestors also began to clash, more than the country's 300 police officers could handle. The Lollohian military offered 800 men to support the police, and they were accepted. IL was also allowed to deploy troops to supervise the uprising. The Kulgisian flag, a coconut on a blue backround, began flying from flagposts, while the recently-raised IL flag was burned.

The Embassy staff was nervous. They had every right to an Embassy, as well as military bases, of which there were 3 in the Kulgis Chain. The islands of the chain were spread far apart, so, it would take some time for the ILs to capture all of them, if they got past the Kulgisian military, that is. The Embassy called in support from the 3.000-man army, which deployed 100 men to defend it, assisting the 15 security officers already staffing the premises.

OOC @Ontorisa: So? They actually have about 36 months of combat/training, which is pretty good. That, and they outnumber you 4 to 1. You seem to be forgetting that. And you never gave me casualties for my first assault.

Yes, but I RESPECT the local cultures. It's called ACCEPTANCE and INTEGRATION, something you don't seem to bother with. I also give my colonies a large amount of autonomy, largely because I can't micromanage everything that happens in them.

Jakkar, Kulgis Isles

The riots slowly clamed down and moved around town. The Embassy was once again quiet except for the I.L marines surronding it.

Major Winston constantly watched his watch. Finally, the second the 30 minute mark passed he motioned towards the building. 10 marine squads (12 people each) detnated a minut amount of C4 that blew down both entrance ways. Next, technicians that had snuck onto the roof shut off the power, and destroyed the nesseary wires needed to run the back-up generators

Under the over of the 25mm cannons from the LAV-25s and APC-05s the marines, who had now readied their night-vision googles, stormed into the building. Everyone who was armed was under "shoot to kill" and everyone un-armed was "subdue and arrest".

Winston watched with a small smile on his face as the operation went off. He had great plans for the Former Lollohian Embassy. A doggie-daycare center was the foremost idea agreed upon by his officers.

Kulgis in General

Each island was now being occupied by I.L marines that had landed with the navy. F-35s and F-25 Bulldogs flew above the sky in mass. Once the islands were secure they would be held for several days until Lollohian influence could be rooted out and killed. Then the transition to Independance would occur for the Kulgis Isles.

The 64 B-2 stealth bombers approached their targets in the dead of night. Using their black radar-absorbant paint to its full advantage against the night sky they were almost impossible to see with the naked eye. Flying at least eight miles apart, sometimes more, they were less detectable and could cover a larger target radius.

Once within range of their targets, each began selecting targets of importance surrounding Dekkar, primarily command outposts and areas of heavy troop concentrations. They then dropped 16 GBU-31 2000lb guided bombs each, resulting in a total of 1024 large bombs falling with pinpoint precision over their targets. However, this made them ever so slightly more vulnerable to radar, and they quickly closed their bomb bays and turned around and headed for home...

The wave of cargo planes were now approaching their targets, a little less than an hour out. They were about to cross the narrow mountain chain that separated Ruolnik proper from Elescu. Meanwhile, a huge wave of 40 F-16 multirole aircraft were taking off from Fort Cross and Calamion Airfield, as well as a small runway at Dergerine.

Taking the lead, the F-16's were armed with AGM-88 HARM anti-radiation missiles, designed to lock onto enemy SAM's were who in turn trying to get a lock on them.

Kulgis'
Protests were still going strong, and people refused to let IL take over. They essentially blocked everything, so that IL couldn't move around. They were demanding immediate independence under the Provisional Government, which vowed it would repulse the invaders. The attack on the Embassy was mired by civilians, of which 7 where killed in the door-breaking blast. However, the marines didn't seem to take into account that almost 300 armed men, mainly police officers, were supervising the event, and quickly began clamping down on the Marines. In the rest of the Kulgis', civilians prevented Marines from reaching Lol bases, and all fighters, a total of 8, got up into the air before the ILs attacked the international airport, which was filled with civilians that would block any aerial resupply attempt. Already, the Kuglisian military had deployed 1.800 men and 3 tanks to quell the IL attacks, followed up shortly afterward by 100 Lollohians in the fire-support role.

Skies Over Wessel
Some stealth bombers were found, a total of 7, by total luck. From Shaluach, a total of 400 fighters was sent into the night skies to track the planes. While they APPEARED to be only 7, chances were it would be more. Civilian air traffic, or what remained of it, was grounded, and the planes were ordered to shoot at anything they thought to be a hostile aircraft.

SAM Sites, Dekkar
The plan worked like clockwork: The SAMs locked on, firing a volley of missiles to attack some F-16s over Ruolnik. They then quickly ran into tunnels, where they were relatively safe. Of the the 20 SAMs the fired, 3 were hit and exploded, killing the 8-man crew.
