Latonos:
One of the last remaining communist strongholds in the world now faces a dire crisis...
Supreme Leader Ian D. Hawke and the Communist Party are disagreeing on most social issues, and it is clearly obvious to the public that there is a split between the two.

While the Communist Party is in power, Ian is the Supreme leader of the party. He does not want to leave power, and wants to take total control of the country - totally demolishing the Communist party in favour of a father~knows~best dictatorship.
If the Communist party were to gain control of the situation, they would have to throw the Supreme leader out of the party which could have dire consequences.
Many people feel loyal to either Ian or the Communist party. If either one was to be removed from power, their supporters would revolt.
To makes things worse, the Communist party realises it needs to remove Ian from leadership in order to keep pursuing the dream of total Communism, while Ian wants to dissolve the Communist party for his own dictatorial needs.
The military will split, however most of the military will follow the Supreme leader in the case of civil war.

If Supreme Leader takes control, he will reform the economy to be free market, and lessen restrictions on Personal freedoms, but Political freedoms will stay low. - +Personal Freedoms : +Economy : -Political Freedoms
If the Communist Party takes control, they will reform the government and allow freedom of speech, press, etc, but Economic and personal freedoms will take quite a bashing. -Personal Freedoms : -Economy : +Political Freedoms

The Prince sat at his desk, enjoying a snifter of brandy and a cigar when his secretary, Jhane, knocked and entered the room.

"M'lord, something that might interest you." She handed him a short note about the situation in Latonos. He glanced at it idly.

"Hmmm, yes, alright. So what would I care about these people, Jhane?"

"It's a power grab, M'lord. You could choose sides and protect those who are true to their cause."

"Hmmm, politicians who are true to their cause. A rarity. Which side is more to our way of life?"

"That would be Mr. Hawke. He wants total control over his nation and the Communists are in his way."

"Ah, yes. A good, old-fashioned dictatorship." He paused. "Alright, let's send a message of support to this Hawkes fellow and find out what level of aid he would need. Get hold of High Lord General Stratham and see how long it would take to put together a package of military and financial aid to Hawke."

"Yes, M'lord, at once."

The nation began moving their supplies. Both fleets began moving out to sea, getting closer and closer to their new land. On board was 600,000 soldiers ready for battle, and many tanks and other vehicles. To secure their arrival, 300 D-5 drone bombs, moving at Mach 25, too fast for anti missile defenses, were shot into the ships at port. Only two nations have the same technology.

The fleet arrived, and instant fortification began. All around, trenches were built, Dart Missile Pods were set up, and a fortress built. Hundreds of AAA guns were trained to the skies, and five airfields were set up. Of the most massive defenses was the 16 inch guns, located in bunkers. They began firing at the shores away from them, propelled by high velocity barrels. Some of the more devastating artillery was the Prototype Tanks, loaded with the 220mm Railgun Projectile Missile Launcher, which fired a 220mm missile. It acted like a shell, with the gunpowder and casing, and was a high velocity Railgun. In midair, the missile fired its rockets, and flew farther than any round on earth.

The battleships near the enemy shore just north of them began firing shells into the land. The super heavy bombers began the destruction of nearby cities and ports, while the light and medium bombers worked on military instillations. A paratrooper assault of 10,000 men was deemed nessecary for the operation to be successful.

As the planes dropped the soldiers into enemy territory, the landing crafts, guarded by ships, began their movement into enemy territory. They were numbered 150,000 soldiers, across three fronts.

Oh. Figures. Guess that would happen. Aw well. I'll just get to you through my army.

Ic: the troops hit the beaches, and seeing no defenses, began setting up artillery, and moving inwards to the rally point. More and more bombers and dive bombers and strafing planes flew overhead, obviously going for the enemy men. At the Paratrooper's front, they began setting up trenches and field guns, all pointing towards varolograd. The Battleships began heading that way, guns pointed. To begin the attack, the artillery began firing day and night, all of them.

A Grand Spearhead assault, composed of 200 medium tanks, 100 heavy tanks, 300 light tanks, 300 troop transports, 50 AI/ATanks, 300 Hydra FLaK, 1,000 Field Guns, and 100 missile tanks began assaulting the city with a full force of 100,000 soldiers. The paratroopers began firing their artillery at the enemy city.

Over 120 Super Heavy bombers began dropping their payload of 100,000 pounds, and light bombers targeted the airfields. Dive bombers and Strafers targeted military points, and civilians.

The invasion had started.

Jinwoy, seeing how fast things turned for the worse in Latonos, has expressed dismay towards the invading countries.
While Jinwoy has not officially denounced the invading powers, it appears that the President of Jinwoy will soon address the problem publicly.

And you both WILL escort me to him IMMEDIATELY, or someone is loosing a limb, and it isnt me."

The Supreme leader was tired of pleading with the dictatorship, and upon hearing the invasion at Varolograd, Ian issued the following...

People of Latonos, we are at a crisis between the godlessness of the failed communists, and the pressure of the invading powers.
We call upon you, the people of Latonos, to fight back all evils!

And all their supporters!

Thus, officially riling up all supporters of the supreme leader, and the military is now ready to deploy to counter the armed rebellion.
Riots against the communists rise across the nation shortly after the address.
Riots against Ian D. Hawke rise across the Communist-Held territories.

It was Varolograd.

"Dar leadar is busy. You will wait your turn harlot, or I will be forced to fire upon you." said one of the High Guards.

Annalisse turns toward the gaurds. Slapping the first she furiously replies " Next time you call me a harlot I hope you dont want kids. And YOU..." pointing to the other gaurd..."If you want the entire nation to fall due to a bomb attached to my chest and bombers ordered to attack after it goes off, then shoot. And you both WILL escort me to him IMMEDIATELY, or someone is loosing a limb, and it isnt me."

You can hear the Leader in the other room, screaming angrily at military advisors.
"You may see him now." calmly said one of the guards, opening the doors to you.

Quite a sight beholds you: The leader is whacking military advisors with documents, pushing them around, hurrying them for response against the traitors and invaders.

5 Knots North of Vorograd

Captain Foret looked out his forward view port, watching for a defensive fleet of some kind. He was put in command of a small scouting vehicle in the ten knots ahead of the fleet. Still he was watching, these were his orders. He was beginning to realize he was on 'termination watch'. Termination is the same as a 'section eight', in many other countries. At one time, over 100 knots away from Vorograd, he almost triggered the alarm when he saw an unmanned barge. Now he was nearing the cost, in a vessel that looked like a fishing boat.

15 Knots North of Vorograd

Admiral Cascrow sat aboard the carrier, waiting for the signal to begin the invasion. He was now entirely dependent on Foret, he would be the one to give the all clear. Until he received the signal, the invasion would be postponed.
