Type of RP: War Game RP/ Map based/ Large Scale Conflict / "Tactic's II" based guidelines

Basic Plot Information

1. Large Scale Conflict between two equally matched opponents on a large island nation.
2. Modern Tech/ War Game Genre.

"Tactics II" is a board game that was released in 1961 by the Avalon Hill company. It depicted two factions; Red and Blue, fighting over a large island for total dominance. Operation Overbrook was a scenario that came with the game. Incidentally based off of real world tactics used back then in front line combat. (Army Group maneuvers) These army Group Maneuvers are... "Common in the Nation States" universe yet its usually done with a series on one liners and such. Which I directly oppose. I hope that this RP will attract a certain quality in writing, that posts would be long a descriptive (and as such I won't expect people to post every day: however I do expect people to post bi-weekly]

Researchers are also working on genetic modifications to introduce a less conspicuous skin tone and for further reductions of radar and heat signatures.

All of the Reich celebrates the crushing and inevitable victory of modern arms over medieval creatures that lack the true strength and discipline of a proper, well-equipped military. Medals are doled out to the victorious commanders and men who successfully slew the dragons and the commanders are hailed as national heroes and worthy heirs of the legacy of Scharnhorst, Claustwitz and Moltke.

Successive analyses and studies by the German General Staff vindicate the correctness of MT weapons and equipment as being superior to cumbersome beasts of prey that, despite their supposedly fearsome image, are no match for SAMs and AA artillery. Greater emphasis is placed on better integration of current SAM and SPAAG platforms from regimental to divisional and corps level, while mass production of portable MANPADS, mobile and fixed SAM and SPAAG systems, as well as tanks and various assorted AFVs, is accelerated. Research is further devoted towards the concept and use of sonic weapons such as the Long Range Acoustic Device, for the purpose of incapacitating and possibly killing any dragons caught in the sound wave. Soon, all army regiments and naval ships will begin sporting LRADs capable of being deployed at a moment's notice against any successive dragon attacks.

With medical research on the dragon remains underway, it is hoped that a better understanding of the anatomy of dragons will be made apparent for the consumption of the Wehrmacht, thereby allowing defence Scientists and planners to pinpoint and identify critical weak-points of dragons for the Wehrmacht to exploit.

I am in dire need for someone to RP the central government here, since last player resigned and two candidates I had refused. This person has to be a good and active RPer.

" Breakup of Kastavania " is an innovative war RP, which will include concept of "mass interaction" between II and a region - based conflict, incorporating both military realism and development of a story of a struggle between several ethnic groups. The aim of the RP is to focus as much of II as possible into one story arc.

Besides that, I invite everybody on II who can write decently to involve themselves diplomatically, by writing news from the conflict ( separate news threads are possible). Countless options like investigation of war crimes or mediation attempts are also possible.
