The captain's mouth turned into a hard line when he received the message. "Gentlemen, we have to dispose of this new threat, but first, we must recall the Switchblades." "Yes sir!" the radio operator immediately relayed the order to the fighter pilots, who abort their attack runs and begin their return flight as the captain sends a message to the pack.

Wilkus Drancoki, a Kidlantian Conservative Party senator, takes the podium in the Kidlantian Senate Chamber at the Second Administrative Tower. Many members of his party are still cautious about declaring war on a capitalist nation that could be a potential ally if they won an election someday. He begins to speak:
"All of you in the Kidlantian Senate here know that in the past few hours, a country named Isle of Lost has declared war upon Kidlantis and declared them a threat to all nations that interact with it. Really, Gurage, even Ruskyet? Like we care what you say. I know all of you liberals know me as a conservative, but when a conservative country declares war on us, we must fight back. Like President Lee stated before, if a country wants to run themselves that way, they have a right to that. Yet their aggressive foreign policy has them fight socialist governments, like the one in Kidlantis, just because they're elected that way. I'm the first one here to say I'm not exactly happy with the current government here, I hate it! But when they want to overthrow a country that's democratically elected, I have a problem."

"So I hereby ask the Senate to declare war on the countries known as Isle of Lost and Inyourfaceistan, and place them on our international watch list for supporting terrorism, and declare them a threat to all nations that interact with them. Also, we do not follow the Geneva Convention. We follow WA laws, and according to WA laws, use of chemical weapons is permitted. Although I believe we shall lead an investigation into the bombings of civilians in the unnamed insurgent village. That, according to the WA is a war crime. So rise up, my fellow Kidlantians, and declare war on these scourges of the universe. They are greater villains then those in books! So let us defeat them, and prevent them from aggressively attacking other countries just because they are different!"

A few moments of silence pass, and then the entire Senate gets to its feet and cheered. Communists, Socialists, Liberals, Monarchists, Conservatives, Nationalists, or Fascists together voted 201-0 to declare war on the two countries in a historical unanimous vote. A few minutes late, the Supreme Council declares war 13-0. The Legislative and Executive branches are in agreement. Kidlantis is officially at war.

Armada Naval Base, Kidlantis
"Ladies and gentlemen, boys and- wait the military doesn't employ minors."An announcer says.
There's a short chuckle, then he continues:
"Anyway, here it is! The warship that will crush our enemies is here! Behold!"
High Admiral Phillip Kriegmire looked towards a young lieutenant who had tapped him on the shoulder.
"The admirals have narrowed down the naming for the Longsword. The names are Avenger and Rapier."said the lieutenant
"Well, Rapier is like the name of the class, but Avenger has a nice sound to it. Avenger it is."replied Kriegmire
Seconds later, the newly named KNS Avenger appears over the horizon, ready to pull into the humongous port that was built to house the Armada. He speaks to Admiral Grace Cantrill, who will be commanding the ship.
"The one weakness that thing has is that it gives off the heat signature of... well... a kilometer long ship. Its size could be its downfall" he says to Admiral Cantrill
"Its size also happens to be one of its many advantages. It's going to be nearly impossible to take the thing down in one blow, and it's going to be hard to even get missiles past its defenses if we escort it properly." replied Admiral Cantrill
"I wouldn't be so sure about the latter. According to Grand Admiral Gestroui, this nation called Isle of Lost has missiles that can go at hyper-sonic speed and deploy Seeker missiles."
"I'm not so sure something going hyper-sonic will make it past a couple hundred missiles being fired at it. After all, the Longsword does house thousands of AA missiles along with its thousands of cruise missiles. But I'll make sure to tell the crew to look out for any missiles that are really large and fly at a high speed. And besides, if we even get a chance at a first strike..."
Admiral Karl Hanjun, who will be in command of one of the command vessels of the mighty Armada, finishes
"Then they might not have a chance to strike back." he says.
"Exactly. Now, shall we prepare to board our respective vessels?" said the High Admiral.
They started boarding as the massive Longsword came in to the even bigger port. They knew that the Kidlantian Armada wouldn't be going anywhere fast though. The Navy was currently marshaling its forces into the area, and it grew and grew by the hour, as naval ships from all over the country came in, from supply frigates to cruisers, from battleships to corvettes, from Zeus-class carriers to Kronus-class battle cruisers. Aircraft came too, from the new KF-48 fighters to A-4's.. It was rumored that the president himself was watching events unfold in the base. War was upon them.
25 miles off the coast of Ruskyet
The Kidlantian fighters had lost another 2 Gripens, 2 J-8's, and an F-22 to their cause, but they would not give up. Despite evasive maneuvers and deployment of chaff and flares, those missiles had hit their targets. Ten more Meteors went flying towards the Inyourfaceistanis, along with six PL-2's and four AIM-120's. They would not give up. Meanwhile, the two remaining carriers from the first fleet (Poseidon and Apollo ) launched forty Mig-29's each. Four hundred twenty-five of the Mig-29's remained, as a side note. Or the original Mig-29's, for that matter. Forty went off to support the Krakens in their fight with the incoming F-35's and F-18's. The Mig-29's that were coming in on the Inyourfaceistanis fired a salvo of forty R-77's at the enemy. Back to the naval combat. Gestroui was smiling at the fact that the Inyourfaceistanis hadn't been able to launch a lot of missiles when he heard a gigantic BOOM!The Herahad been hit by several of the Mk.140's and had exploded instantly. Another large BOOM!followed as another one of the missiles slammed into one of the James Brock-class carriers, badly damaging it. Meanwhile, aside from the Mk.140's devastating impact, the Kidlantians were faring rather well. Since only forty of the missiles had been launched, they made good targets for the Kidlantian defenses. That, coupled with the fact that I.L. naval forces had not fired any Tomahawks, made life relatively easy. Only six of the dreaded missiles made it through, destroying a destroyer and a couple of frigates, all from the 1st Fleet. Which left nine destroyers and ten frigates from the original fleet. However, the few Harpoons that made it through finished off the KNS Steven Nosteneven for good, and damaged the remaining Udaloy and AA frigate. The submarines had deployed sonar decoys, however, one of the submarines was destroyed that was facing off against the Type-60's. The Kidlantian submarines fired four torpedoes at the remaining Type-60, each with now one torpedo left. Their crews hoped that those torpedoes would finish off the Type-60's so that they could track down and destroy the Virginia-class submarine. Meanwhile, despite the deployment of sonar decoys against the enemy torpedoes racing towards them, two attack submarines were sunk near the Inyourfaceistani Fleet. They launched twelve torpedoes and began to retreat immediately towards the main fleet. The Kidlantian Hatchet-class frigates launched 12 LY4045 cruise missiles at the enemy submarine carrier. It was a sitting duck, and was completely helpless as the cruise missiles sped towards them. Speaking of missiles, the destroyers launched 90 LRASM's, or ten each. The frigates joined in, launching 70 Tomahawk IV cruise missiles, and thirty-five of them focused on the Wasp-class assault ships. They focused on the Inyourfaceistani Fleet, hoping they could knock it out so they could defeat the I.L.'s Fleet afterwards. Gestoui was getting an e-mail from The High Admiral. It read:
Do not worry, Grand Admiral. Help is on the way, the Armada is gathering the strength of the Kidlantian Navy. Hang in there while until we make it. Also, I highly suggest that you use some of those high explosive missiles on the battleships and the Kamehameha.
Minutes later, the KNS Xerntevis launched ten of its Tomahawks, however, these Tomahawks were loaded with incredibly powerful explosives. Not nuclear, but still incredibly powerful. The Kamehameha and Ravenia launched ten of their own, making thirty high explosive Tomahawks in all heading towards the enemy fleet.

Ocean, 550 Nautical Miles from Ruskyet

The I.L Fleet had been taking the time to reload it's missiles. Although the orders had been to reload all ships, the fleet had still been capable of firing more than 2000 missiles. This was considered a break down in the COC, but the I.L Fleet continued on.

Although, now that all ships were reloaded, they were able to shoot a true volley at the Kidlantians. Some had argued that 3000 Tomahawks should have been shot, but that was shot down because they needed a surplus of atleast 1000 missiles to combat any sneak attacks.

The flight of F-35s and F-18s were now approaching the Kidlantian Aircraft. They loaded their AIM-54 missiles and fired ar the Krakens. Several F-18s in the rear also spotted an AWACs flying around (possibly trying to locate the I.L Fleet), and fired upon it too with AIM-54s and AIM-9s.

Whitesands Naval Shipyard, Isle of Lost

After Kidlantis had declared war on Isle of Lost for second time, I.L Naval Officals decided that an Invasion Armada wasn't large enough, so they decided to send a Main-Line Armada (the 3rd largest in the I.L selection). It was decided that a Proelium-Class Warhead Battleship would accompany the fleet. This was the largest ship every used by the I.L navy. Only 5 were in service, and one had just completed construction at Whitesands Naval Shipyard. This ship was ear-marked for use against a Kyromanian Naval Build-up, but was re-ear-marked at the last minute to fight the Kidlantian Double War.

This ship, was was christened the "Ultima Verbi", which was Latin for "Final Word". It fit the massive ship perfectly, and after the ship's missiles, crew and supplies were loaded, it was sent out to Battle Group Lanceae, which along with Battle Groups
Acinaces and Ballista made up the Main-Line Armada doubted "MLA 8".


Ships were still being moved around and supplies loaded, but I.L command was positive the Armada would launch very soon.

[Inyourfaceistan]

The Kidkantians had deployed a large number of fighters, spelling certain destruction for the aircraft battling above their fleet. Each and every pilot banked hard and deployed flares and chafe, but much of it was in vain. The two remaining F-18's were destroyed, six of the A-6 attackers were destroyed and 4 F-22's; effectively destroying all fighters in the immediate vacinity, save for a single pack of F-22's.

The second submarine-launched squadron of Su-47's was now within range of their own R-77 missiles, and let loose sixteen of their semi-advanced MRAAM's towards the concentration of Kidlantian aircraft.

Ducking and weaving, the four remaining F-22 Raptors held hard on the tail of their counter-parts, blasting their miniguns and deploying Python-5 missiles at point-blank range.

While the Kidlantians had the initial advantage of numbers, the odds would soon be even once again. Having done all they could to stop the onslaught of enemy missiles, the oncoming fighters were now within range of their AIM-54 LRAAM's, and fired off a single missile for each aircraft, resulting in forty-two long-range missiles flying towards the enemy.

Like their late brothers, the six A-6 Intruders unleashed a salvo of AGM-84 Harpoon anti-ship missiles at the enemy ships, taking priority on the enemy carriers.

Just as before, a moderate-sized wave of aircraft had taken off from a doomed carrier. Sixteen IEK-88's, twenty-two A-6 Intruders, and eight F-22's were airborne when the enemy missiles came to wreak havoc on the bellow. Twelve LRASM's and 46 Tomahawks were able to slip by.

Like dedicated dogs the four remaining IC-121 Garuda AA frigates took aim and blasted at the enemy missiles. This time, only CIWS, LaWS and short range SAM's were used. This descesion, while tactical and what was hopefully the best move for the time being, was also costly. Two LRASM's hit a single IC-121 frigate, causing it two explode on either side, with the blasts impacting in the center of the vessel. Another of the AA frigates succumbed to the rain of Tomahawks that could not be shot down. The other surviving ships deployed an array of counter-missiles, CIWS and ECM pods at the oncoming ordinance. All in all a single Bolic'edi, two IC-98's, one supply frigate and one Wasp-class assault ship were destroyed. "Les Wassi" also began to sink beneath the waves like its brother before it...

Meanwhile, the remaining Type-60 combat sub pushed hard on the throttle and deployed its remaining sonar decoy. However, the enemy had only sent five submarines to the initial spot where they believed the capital subs to be, and had taken four losses since then, leaving only one enemy sub with one torpedo left. The sonar decoy was barely effective, causing the enemy projectile to explode right beside the iron sea dragon, damaging it but not stopping its suicide run. At full speed the lone Type-60 rammed head-first into the enemy submarine, destroying itself in the process.

On the reverse side of the enemy fleet, the Velicori was able to launch off six of its last F-22's, as two were destroyed when the enemy LY405 missiles impacted, destroying the entire vessel instantly. A single Type-60 combat sub was destroyed by the enemy fleet defenses as they raced towards the enemy ships.

Now only one Type-60 was left alongside the Virginia class fast attack sub. Both submarines fired all their remaining torpedoes, resulting in eight Mark-48 torpedoes swimming at the enemy ships.

The crews of the Cordoba's watched as the enemy subs began to turn about under water, and attempt to fall back. Again, the small but agile gunboats dropped depth charges under water at the submarines, and watched as the bubbles from the multiple explosions came to the surface. A second salvo of torpedoes was fired from the MH-60 Seahawks as they headed towards the assault ships.

Now only three vessels stood against the superior Kidlantian odds. Their fleet had done well, considering the numerical advantage the enemy held over them. They made a final stand, unleashing the last of their VLS cells, ten from each of the IC-98's and twenty loaded out of thirty total from the Bolic'edi destroyer. A last salvo of forty LRASM's jettisoned towards the enemy fleet.

Like the situation before with the observation task force, it was apparent this battle would also end aircraft vs. fleet. And this was the sole reason the Garuda's had saved their long-range SAMs. One-by-one each of the longer SAM batteries picked a separate target, aiming for the Kidlantian Mig-29's that were flying above the enemy fleet. In a brilliant light show dozens of anti-air missiles launched from the two remaining frigates, eight batteries of four missiles each propelled a volley of thirty-two missiles at the enemy aircraft.

Thirty Ka-50 Hokum attack helicopters set off in the direction of the Kidlantian forces landing in Ruskyet. Unlike their comrades hovering over the remainder of the fleet, these models were fitted for anti-surface operations, mounting AGM-114 Hellfire missiles and S-13 rockets in addition to their 30mm cannons. The formation of helicopters fanned out and moved in low on the surface of the water towards the enemy forces

The three remaining supply frigates reached the shore, riding right up to the beachhead and parking themselves head-first in the temporary shallow trench that had been dug by the Kenburgians. Roughly 25,000 Army regulars dismounted alongside maybe 5,000 or so marines. About 400 M1A2 Abrams, 150 YT-2 Crocodile heavy tanks and roughly 200 FV-101 Scorpion light tanks dismounted from the ramps and began the drive towards the front lines. BTR-80's and LCAC hovercraft began to land, bringing with them lighter support vehicles and about 2,000 or so marines.

The wolfpacks continued past the lone maritime vessel. They were listening in on the chatter from the fleet as ships went down one by one. Admiral Henri DeLenoza slammed his fist in anger aboard his flagship Ohio-class submarine, "Les Korbrali", as he listened to the desperate and fearful yet composed and brave words of his comrades as the murderous Kidlantian worm-rats killed them off in little chunks.

We are fast entering deeper into the combat zone. Our vessels will soon be in position to engage the tyrannical Kidlantian scum that think us inferior to their vile ways. Meanwhile, a few hundred or so miles away from this area the first wave invasion force was pushing full steam towards Ruskyetan waters, as the aerial assault was refueling mid-way through through the journey towards enemy territory. Soon, this conflict would change. No longer would the RNI and it's allies be forced to play defense on foreign terrain, soon, it would be time for offense. And if the accursed Kidlantians tryed anything as dirty and despicable as they had before, perhaps a declaration of war would be in the future...

We have decided to agree with one of your points. Well, semi-agree, for that matter.
-We will lead an investigation containing the Senate Judiciary Committee into the Proploynet B-52 attacks. The investigation could very likely end in potential prosecution, however this is no guarantee. We will also lead an investigation into the use of chemical weapons, however, the investigation will be to find out if the use of chemical weapons was really needed. This could only possibly lead to reprimands, however, not prosecution, as chemical weapons use is permitted under WA law.
I hope that you can accept that, as I don't think any of us here want war. On the issue of Proploynet freedom, I personally believe that they should be allowed semi-independence, as that has worked with us in Pazania. However, that is a decision for the Ruskyetan government to make, not me. If they do not accept semi-independence for Proploynet, I believe I might have to take our military forces out of Ruskyet. Again, the Proploynet issue is for the Ruskyetan government to decide, and we have semi-agreed to the second demand you made. And we might withdraw our forces from Ruskyet if they do not accept semi-self-rule for Proploynet. Thank You.

Kriegmire looked out the window of the Commando, the Kidlantian Navy's Flagship. It was classified as a superdreadnought, not a hyperdreadnought like the Longsword-class Revenge or a plain dreadnought like one of the Warhorse-class dreadnoughts. He looked towards the massive display of power. The Armada was still gathering strength as naval vessels from various Kidlantian ports arrived, along with vessels from various arms manufacturers. He watched as a Galaxy-class battlecruiser named KNS Triangulum pulled in. If that letter Lee had sent to the Inyourfaceistani did not manage to create peace, then the Armada would soon be deployed.

The bodies of the Red Ocean terrorists that were not dismembered by the mob were assembled and identified. 142 of the gunmen were of Inyourfaceistani nationality, 48 were of North Guerrocan nationality, 20 of Pelicyan, and two were of unknown origin.

"Sir, have a look at this." a soldier reported to his captain.
"What is it?" the captain replied.
The man pointed to two dead bodies at the far end of the freezer room. They appeared lighter skinned, with a fair complexion compared to all the local terrorists.
"These two corpses, they don't match any ID scan we have done."
"Hmm, did you check for dog-tags or give-away markings?"
"Yes Sir, but none were found. They appeared to be of Nordic or Scandanavian heritage."
"Strange. I wonder what a pair of icemen were doing down here in the tropics. Probably has something to do with that unknown helicopter that was turned back 2000 nautical miles off the coast when the incident took place. I'll take this one up with command, something smells fishy..."
