Cory Schneider nation attacks Evenstar borders.

[The Evenstar]

In response to the sudden end to the Evenstar-USSA war, Cory Schneider nation has decided to attempt an invasion of Evenstar territory, charging with various units, they managed to capture several miles of land, slaughtering civilians, militia, and soldiers alike. General Tiberus, head of the Evenstar Department of War, has little time to rally the armed forces before the hostile army is on the move again. Local governors and mayors are quick to round up and organize their militiamen, and evacuate several subdivisions. Although the militia are able to put up a good fight, it does little more than stall the enemy army.

Although it's unknown how many, and with what, Cory Schneider nation is attacking with. It has been confirmed that they are using both ground and air forces. Thalmor, the dictator of the Evenstar, declares a temporarily state of emergency, and is currently residing in his War Room. He orders for Tiberus to scramble F-16's to further slow down and soften Cory Schneider's soldiers, and watches the armed forces mobilize.

OOC: Storytime! Okay, so in my last thread, ''Evenstar invades the USSA!'' Cory Schneider was one of the nations fighting. By the time ceasefires were signed, people were talking a little in OOC. Well, Cory Schneider attacked me. So, I asked him, and after seeing how the other players (nations, whatever ) wanted to do another RP, I decided to make this thread.

Cory Schneider's 3rd Rank Unit under the command of Christopher Higgins has reportedly been in the process of deterrence by a bevy of F-16s from the Evenstar Military Forces.

Lieutenant Higgins has requested a re-inforcement of 8,000 troops to expedite this invasion process. In the meantime, a 4th rank, under the command of Sergeant Dale Weise, has decided to cut the corners by entering the southwestern border of Evenstar. Sergeant Weise has brought anti-aircraft tanks and rocket launchers, totaling 12,000 troops.

The Chairman gets word of the invasion.
"This is perfect! This is a great time to get back at Evanstar!"
He sends a message to the Field Marshal to begin offensive operations against Evanstar.

Meanwhile, I, Lieutenant David Booth, will be accompanying your other half of the forces staying behind.

In response to this, The supreme court of cross decided to send diplomats to Evenstar in order to promote peace and justice while also closing borders to all citizens.

Following the state of emergency condition, the diplomats are halted at the border, and are not allowed in.

Thalmor is standing, he looks over the various holographic maps and paper charts. He walks to a console, and begins speaking.

''Tiberus, how is it going, what have you mustered so far?'' Thalmor asks.
''Almost 7,000 soldiers, progress is slow, and with every attack, we have to change everything.'' Tiberus says.
''Acknowledged, private security firms and gun stores are having field days right now, at this point, you can slow down a little, militia and hired guns are about to take the fight to them.'' Thalmor says, smiling.
''Glad to hear, Im exhausted from all the calls I've had to make'' Tiberus replied.

As it becomes clear that Cory Schneider's forces are still advancing, the number of attacking F-16's are doubled, and local militia, now armed with military-provided mortars, begin shelling and launching hit-and-run operations against Cory Schneider's forces.

Finally, the reinforcements for Higgin's forces arrive, amounting to 7,952.
Seeing that the number of F-16s have doubled, the soldiers fought with grit and dignity.

Lieutenant Higgins proclaimed, "In the Name of Cory Schneider and his Canuckians(OOC: Name for citizens of Cory Schneider)! Hail the Canuckians! Hail the Canucks!"

Soldiers began to advance slowly but with success.

In the capital city of Cory Schneider, an ailing emeritus high general, former Commander-in-Chief, former Six-star Commander and Duke-in-Chief, Roberto Luongo, lay in bed. He was 109, and the world seemed mostly in darkness in his views, as he knew he did not have much time to live.

He requested to speak with the King.

Cory Schneider, immediately headed to the High General's grand room, and spoke, "High General," He spoke holding his hands, "What is it that you wish to speak to me?"

High General replied, "Your Majesty, I have not many years or even months to live. I just would like to state that you must invest your funds into nuclear facilities and WMDs. Without them, you will never win this battle."

Thalmor watched the holographic projection of Cory Schneider's forces. Militia were fighting hard, but they were severely caught off guard, and a lack of information made it hard to launch effective counter-attacks. It was certain that the number of enemies had increased, but to what degree is uncertain. Thalmor decided to check on Tiberus's progress, hoping enough troops could be gathered to drive back Cory Schneider nation.

''Tiberus, what the hell is going on? They've made it 18 miles inwards, and are nearly a third to Landerest, what have you mustered?'' Thalmor demanded to know.
''I got my command team stationing garrisons and bringing reservists into major cities or very profitable towns, Landerest should have 300,000 troops and hundreds of tanks in it before Cory Schneider nation can reach it. The offensive army is almost complete, 78,000 active and 89,000 reservists, 180 tanks, and 910 jeeps.'' Tiberus says.
''Something doesn't add up, why so few in such a large amount of time?'' Thalmor inquired.
''What's been taking up time is safety, sir, we're been using already active soldiers and reservists as MP's to organize refugees. Along with establishing garrisons, and securing other needed resources that are vital to the nation.'' Tiberus says

Thalmor let out a sigh, and looked back over pile of charts before looking back at the console.

''So, you're telling me you abandoned a large chunk of our borders, just to secure targets on the other side of the conflict?'' Thalmor asks, with a particular tone.
''Yes, sir.'' Tiberus replies.

Thalmor takes another deep breath, before smashing his hand of a metal table, leaving a small dent in it.

''Are you serious? Thousands of Evenstar citizens, innocent men, women, and children, are dead! All just to ''secure'' other entities that weren't even remotely in danger? You're suppose to be my best general, that's why you at where you where! That's it, these fuck ups are done, you're dismissed from further duties, I've done it before, and I'll do it again, I'm taking over military operations from here on out.'' Thalmor says, before rudely cutting off the transmission.

Tiberus looks down at himself, before his own security guards arrest him, and begin to transport him back to Landerest.

Although former foes, Gingeyland has eventually come to be allies with Evenstar, and upon hearing this shocking news, Vladimir Zhlakoub wrote up a dispatch to Evenstar Governmental Headquarters. A copy has been attached below:

Soldiers and civilians alike watch as trucks, loaded with wounded militia soldiers and civilians make their way through Landerest to be dropped off in a refugee camp established in Ozone Stadium. There, several volunteering doctors and nurses will watch over them until they can go back home.

Other oil rigs were found on Cory's coast. over 7 were! They were shot down by ships and this caused the beaches on Cory to be totally ruined. Even whales washed ashore and The cross's navy fired missiles on the shoreline of Cory.

We ask the Cross of God to stop doing this, it's unnecessary, you're killing innocent workers and damaging the environment.

Such attacks are being attempted to be thwarted by Gingeyland, but it seems their nanotechnology far surpasses our pre-installed defense systems. Gingeyland requests permission to back up Evenstar's important documents to one of our remote hard drives, then wiping all such important information.
