Concepts and Beliefs of the Alliance.....

--Economics & Society--

Communism attempts to offer an alternative to the problems with the capitalist market economy and the legacy of imperialism and nationalism. Marx states that the only way to solve these problems is for the working class (proletariat), who according to Marx are the main producers of wealth in society and are exploited by the Capitalist-class (bourgeoisie), to replace the bourgeoisie as the ruling class in order to establish a free society, without class or racial divisions

--The World Revolution--

World revolution is the Marxist concept of overthrowing capitalism in all countries through communist revolution. These revolutions would not necessarily occur simultaneously, but where local conditions allowed a communist party to successfully agitate for revolution, and install a communist state.

--Proletarian Internationalism--

Proletarian internationalism is a marxist social class concept based on the view that capitalism is now a global system, and therefore the working class must act as a global class if it is to defeat it. Workers should struggle in solidarity with their fellow workers in other countries on the basis of a common class interest.

Second, we are not a "communist nation". We are a nation with a democratically-elected communist government which could be voted out at any time. It doesn't make much sense to align ourselves with communist nations when we might have a centrist government ourselves next week.

Third, we do not support worldwide revolution. We believe in the right of every people to choose their own path.

Fourth, we don't associate with racists, sexists or supremacists of any stripe.

Finally, I have to ask the usual questions:

• What are we expected to contribute to the alliance?
• What do we get out of the alliance?

And one more question: Why doesn't anybody answer these questions before they ask people to join an alliance?
