As we do not recognize the legitimacy of the USSA government, the Federation hereby declares support for the Empire's invasion of the USSA, as well as support for most of the anti-Socialist resistance within the USSA.

At the same time, however, we completely condemn the Empire's nuclear first strike, and as a matter of principle cannot form a multilateral effort with them to eliminate the Socialist regime of Socialist America.

Comrade, I think you should reconsider who you are supporting and the people of the USSA. Socialism isn't something that was forced upon them. They have chosen socialism as their way to achieve a better society. Who are you to decide what they want as a society?

Furthermore, you are indirectly supporting a faction that would rather fire nuclear warheads on CIVILIAN targets rather than seek a peaceful resolution. Even if you do not support socialism, how can you live with supporting a group that wouldn't mind having the USSA consumed in nuclear fire and radiation, killing millions upon millions of men, women, and children who have been forced thanks to the Empire's aggression and imperialism. You are know different than them.

Our own homeland's borders in the United Socialist States of Ryaanistan (USSR) are covered in the remains of fallout from our nuclear war of the 20th century. We know the devastating effects of nuclear war on our lands and we will never commend a nation for siding with the horrible, deadly, and violent scourge that is nuclear weapons.

We plead you to reconsider your choices in this matter. Not for socialism. Not for fascism. But for the people of the USSA. The citizens who have been thrust into this conflict: mercilessly, cruelly and without remorse. For the good of the USSA.

Let us fight to fulfill that promise. Let us fight to free the USSA, to do away with the barriers of oppression, to do away with greed, with hate and intolerance.

They have established a demilitarized zone and will continue to hold the border if the Empire further declares war. It is safe to say that this is officially and unofficial "ceasefire" and hopefully this situation can be turned into a permanent ceasefire.

A DMZ has been established on the Pre- War border. A formal cease-fire is in the works but as of now none have been signed.

Soviet Ruk-Tsan, notorious fighter for communism. When news reached them of the troubles in the USSA, it took little time for General Secretary Viktor Petrenkov to decide to intervene. The nuclear strikes only doubled his fervor. As masses of the red army sailed forward towards the USSA, The Grand World Order made it's announcement. They were a powerful nation, but Viktor wouldn't let them bully them! He wrote to the leader of the USSA, pledging his nation's support.

The Communist Republic of Great Canada, after hearing of their friend, ally and leader of the Union's decision to assist in the USSA, Charles Trotter decided to act also. His nation's military was small, however, as Great Canada was a mostly peaceful nation. Trotter wrote to Viktor Petrenkov of Soviet Ruk-Tsan, a man he had met many times over the years.

I applaud your actions to prevent the destruction of the USSA, and I hope to help. My military is small, but we seek to put 350,000 men under your command, to be sent to help. With news of the Union coming to help the Field Marshal jumped for joy! He immedatly gave Greater Canada and Ruk-Tsan's forces permission to enter the country. He gave a short speech to ease his people

Commrades I have joyous news, our allies in the Union of Red Nations have come to our aid. Now if need be we can defend ourselves against those barbarians to the north and their supporters in The Greater World Order. I swear to you, that if the Empire of America takes one unauthorized step across the DMZ, we will defend with our lives. The insanely huge fleets hurriedly leaving their home shores with little apparent regard for keeping a low profile was being noted by every officer and analyst within at least eight floors. Three million troops and tens of thousands of tanks via sea was -not- going to go unnoticed unless paced out over years of deployment, not when deploying from one shoreline. Plus, it'd take them much longer to mobilize such an ungodly sized fleet compared to the Federation's CSGs and ABGs that constantly prowled the globe's oceans, though these naval formations also lacked anything other than comparatively small Marine detachments with which to conduct ground operations with.

International Waters

Already, however, multiple forward-deployed Orderian Carrier Strike Groups and Arsenal Battle Groups had begun patrolling commonly-traveled commercial routes in international waters outside of Socialist America, blending in among the civilian vessels of hundreds of different nations. To anyone observing on RADAR, they looked like any one other of the myriad merchant vessels. To anyone attempting to visually locate them via satellite, it would be akin to finding a needle in a haystack, and the lack of formations meant that finding one vessel still left the others hidden, and even still, anti-ship munitions aren't guided by spy satellites.

These Naval Groups were to form loose pickets. They were under orders not to fire yet, but to wait. However, the Federal Navy had also deployed Type 212 and even a few SSGN-fitted Akula Typhoons to see if they could stalk these fleets, acquire more intelligence about them, and set up positions from which they could eventually devastate their fleets.

For now though, it was a shuffling of Orderian naval assets as ground and air forces were being called up throughout the country, and the Foreign Affairs Office began working to see if the Empire would grant the Federation use of its airfields.

OOC: Don't assume these fleets are unprotected. It would be beyond ridiculous to send such troops without massive guard forces. My usual tactic for it is having the escorts surrounding the transports, forming a massive ring of protection. Meanwhile, submarines sail under the group, ensuring safety from under the water, and a mix of AA guns, SAM missiles and aircraft deployed from carriers defend the skies. You will have a hard time.
