To His Imperial Majesty, by the grace of god, Kaiser John I of the Kaiserreich of Felbah; I ask that you think long and hard on the words you use next as they may have far reaching consequences. Her Divine Majesty holds no ill will against you or your lands but She will not allow you to meddle in what she deems Her affairs. You have one chance to recant or war and destruction shall come to Felbah.

First Hand of the God-Empress
Saren sat at her desk holding the parchment in her hand.
"Is this right?" she wondered?
The thought scared her. It was not often that she second guessed the God-Empress's wishes, may she live for ever. But she knew this war would be pointless. Making threats to petty nations over some unknown island she had until last week never heard of. She shook it off. She would do her duty as she had before. Thirty long years she had served the current holder of the crystal throne and creator willing she would serve longer still. She called an aide, a young man named Hafnir, into the room.
"This is to be sent to Felbah right away. Be sure it is sent by an envoy of at least the third level, second would be better yet."
"Yes, Lady First. I will do it right away." Hafnir said as he took the paper from her hand.
She barely noticed him leaving the room, trouble brewing in her mind as she gazed out her large windows over the palace grounds.

Zaranth wrote:"70 ships burned! And all of them carrying food rations or refugees from the conflict in the east. Is this Kaiser of theirs mad?!" Saren almost yelped as she crumpled the page in her hand. " He has no respect for the established rule of war. Bhaaaw, this is not the enemy we thought we were dealing with." It was not the first time today she had wished she was the God-Empress's truth speaker and not just a Hand. To have the ability to speak freely and openly without consequence, though in truth she could be more frank than most. " If they can hit us in our hearts and out stomachs then so can we. Contact Air Marshall Zamire, we will be meeting Her Majesty within the hour. She will have orders and we must be ready."
Arathelle Jaol Colavi a'Zarana sat in her war room surrounded by papers and files cluttered across large tables and shelves. Her generals and aides busily drafting plans or talking strategy. She was a brilliant woman raised from birth to rule. Had she been any other woman her demunitive stature would have beguiled her capable nature but she was not any other woman. She played with her long dark hair held in place by a cap of gold and rubies and thought, 'It is time.' she straightened her plaited skirts and rose. As she rose all activity stopped as everyone turned to face her, shame clear on those who were last to turn. "what have you devised for me?" said Arathelle asking no one in particular. "We must deal them a fatal blow and soon should we wish to not find out own throats cut and our purses missing." A middle aged man in a violet air mans uniform stepped forward and bent to one knee eyes facing the floor.
"Great One, as we speak bombers are destroying essential refineries and power producing facilities. We think they were warned as we had to change targets to avoid detection from their formations. It is not quit the blow you had hoped for but it will cause major logistical problems is the northwestern part of their nation."
Arathelle looked at the supplicated man not really seeing but also not really looking. "So I have been disappointed once today. Will i have reason to be again?" one again asking no one in particular.
A woman in tight fitting leather stepped forward and bowed like the man before her, "Highest, we have intercepted a train carrying the Kaiser's mother and his favorite nephew. They are not out of the country as of yet but in a secure location. His daughters were not on the train as we were led to believe. It is highly unlikely that they were warned and probably just a change in travel plans. Unfortunately because of the nature of the kidnapping increased security make another very improbable."
"Were their any deaths?" Arathelle asked addressing Saren her First Hand and not the woman prostrating on the floor before her.
"None." Replied Saren.
'Well it wasnt a total failure,' thought the empress. 'Had a member of his imperial house been murdered who knows what he would have done.'
"And what of the blockades," Arathelle asked, once again of her first.
"On their Way, with some of the outer islands already under our control. They have met very little resistance and i fear that is an indication of something we are as of yet unaware. Felbah does not lose territory easily."
"Saren you may continue your work." with that the room became an ant hill of activity. men and women returning to tables stacked with papers and communications. small quiet conversations here and there only just inaudible. Arathelle picked up her skirts and walked passed the man and woman still kneeling on the floor. She would not punish them. let their shame do it for her. She may have had a brilliant mind but she was not fool enough to think she could handle it all alone. she strode out of the room and into the corridor with her skirts swishing around her.
Addressed to the Empress of Zaranth,
Subject: about the attacks.
We claim innocence in these attacks! Felbahn forces have nothing to do with the attacks on your sovereign nation. We have reason to believe that you were attacked by the Faelb Union. Did you see any markings? This is not a Felbahn native strategy. You have our word that the Kaiserreich of Felbah would not do such a thing as this.
Also, your spies must be either dreadfully dishonest or absolutely misinformed. The Kaiser has neither a daughter nor a wife with whom he would get one. I would recommend a re-shuffle in the ranks of your intelligence.
Signed,
Daniek Fardoc,
Secretary of the Prime minister.

To: Felbahn leader
ENCRYPTION:VERY HIGHThe Royal Imperial Decree
We have received your plea for help! It is a shame that you had lost your land to evil socialists but afraid not! The shining light dost enter yet again! The Royal Empire knows what it is like to lose colonies to evil and we will not let it happen again to our ally. We are ready to send troops of large masses. As we are ready for deployment, we ask the Felbahn intelligence agency to relay any information as of now to aid us in this venture. We ask you to give us some information to solely attack a colony to ease your efforts. We also ask that you allot us a few military bases that are currently in your control for the large mass of troops we are sending. By looking at the intelligence already given to us, we assume that the green means this is what you've won back. If that is true we'll gladly fight, solely, for the freedom, liberation and reunification of Upper Standar and Cambeltia.

To: Kaiser John Talvarr I
From: The Emperor Ezekiel Eustace II of the Mind Empire
-- It is with great urgency I write to you, our nations in the past had an alliance but this power struggle seems to have occured without much interaction from ourselves. We are sorry we did not partake in it and saving your loss of territory, but the leaders of my nation from that time have passed, and minor instabilities in my homeland go a long way. Now that I have secured my own throne, I desire to travel to Felken and meet with your grace. One monarch to another, Kaiser I implore you to allow me to aid you, in whatever way I can.
- Sincerely, Ezekiel Eustace.

The Anglo-Saxon Empire wrote:Emperor Siegfried XVI was similar to Luthoria personified, old, weary, bitter, cynical man. Slowly lowering himself into his throne he listened to his daily report on the world. Most issues were simple, his fifth daughter would be made Viceroy of the new Luthorian colony, he would soon call for a general ceasefire in Neo-Germania, but one issue stuck out, Felbahn, a nation involved in the war in Neo-Germania was attempting to rebuild their empire, while Luthoria was attempting to build its own. He had decided that the Luthorian Empire should take an active role against Felbahn expansion if an agreement could not be reached. Thus the following ultimatum was sent to the Felbahn government. The Luthorian Empire has recently begun carrying out expansion by forcing nations into subservience or annexing them outright, but has become worried about the idea of a Felbahn reconquest of their old empire. Thus the Luthorian Empire has decided to offer a fair ultimatum that could potentially benefit both states.
The Luthorian Empire is proposing a joint alliance. Both of our states will decides spheres of influence from which we can annex states, will agree to help each other in all military conflicts, offensive and defensive, and will dedicate a small force as part of a joint expeditionary force, which will allow us to easily kick off an invasion of foreign countries and allow our militaries to work more closely together.
Should you turn down our ultimatum, the Luthorian Empire will do what it must to protect its interests abroad, including declaring war on Felbahn to ensure the continued independence of their former colonies.

The Kaiser was pacing madly. Was he convicted of a crime he did not commit? Was the Union responsible? Or even worse, were there renegades in HIS OWN ranks? The Kaiser was furious. Then, he calmed himself.
"Guillaime?"
"You called, sire?"
The Kaiser paused. "Get me some Dröbis wine... Actually no. Not for two years yet. Get me a cup
of Tea."
The Prime minister motioned to a servant, who ran swiftly out of the door.
"So, what do we do, sire?"
The Kaiser paused. "We wait. See how things turn out."
To His Imperial Majesty, while not a Christian nation it is customary for Zaranth to halt all hostilities over the Christmas holiday. As such we are offering a cease fire for the next two days. It would seem to us that there is the possibility that this conflict was entered into in haste. If terms are reasonable then we would be inclined to listen and create an environment of peace and understanding, if not then we stand ready to resume once the holiday has passed.

In golden Armor and crimson cloth the Emperor Ezekiel Eustace II stepped out of the zeppelin. He carefully made his way onto the runway from the blimp, his dirty blonde hair shown with a white streak down the left side. Once on the ground he then turned and extended his hand to the Silver armor and blue clothed woman stepping out. This was the Empress Madeline, her raven hair shown in the midday sun. Other yellow robed squires hopped out after their monarchs as the two began their approach to John.
With stately presence of mind and body they strode up the runway to greet this new Kaiser. Their armor had a form similar to that of the 16th century, but in much lighter design. On the Emperor's golden chest-plate, a Shining Sun was visible, on the Empresses Silver chest-plate, a glowing moon, both celestial bodies had much baroque design to them. Indeed the cloth under the armor was laden in plantlike designs. Behind the monarch a troup of 14 of the Squires followed, 7 behind each monarch who marched equally.
They stood infront of Kaiser John, and to him they bowed their heads, with the squires behind them bowing on one knee. Raising their heads, Ezekiel extended his hand to the Kaiser. "Your grace, John isn't it?"

The Kaiser met their gaze. For the first time since their meeting, he smiled. "Then it would be a pleasure. This man here is my Prime Minister, Guillaime Galliogh."
"How do you do?" The Prime Minister held out his hand. He seemed slightly suspicious in some way, but it was uncertain as to how.

"Fine thank you" they both said shaking the hands of the Kaiser and the Prime Minister. Ezekiel said "So how is this fine nation of yours doing? Obviously much has changed since last Lotrabmeans arrived, but we hope that some manner of stability is currently in place. We shall help you maintain it of course if you desire our aid. This airship is fit for combat and shall be the first of our ships to aid you in defense should it be required." Madeline waited till her husband was done before saying "If we may go inside somewhere, perhaps back to the palace, it would be more comfortable and we could remove our plate armor?"
