My family comes for Iran, and so I based my nation on a progressive middle eastern monarchy. My families biggest pastime is talking about memories of Iran. It all interests me so much. My mother used to go to the same school as Princess Leila, and would obsess over the dolls that she brought to school. My father, Jason( his real name is Jamshid) lived in Iran until 1974, after his older brother, Farzan, was killed in an accidental hunting accident. My grandfather, Bahram, worked under In Iranian intelligence, and my grandmothers family spread rumors that his job led to his sons death. After Farzan died, my father and his family moved to America, and lived in Washington D.C. Up until the Revolution, then they moved to California, and settled in San Francisco. My dad was the youngest child, and the moment he got married and left the house, my grandparents divorced. I'm sorry for rambling, but when I think of the era of the Shah, I get excited. I was always think of what Iran would look like today if the shah hadn't fled, but instead just democratized the country.

No,seriously,I too think the shah was a better ruler than the current regime.

I'm a constitutional-ceremonial monarchist. I support the Queen and her current, mainly ceremonial role and few, very limited powers as an excellent figurehead of continuity and tradition.

It was mainly MT, with 1 aircraft which was PMT which was actually rejected by the rest of the role players. I only had one offer of aid from one other nation. At the very least I expected aid to be given even if military assistance wasn't an option and it wasn't done.

Hey, in the opinion of us absolutists, thy systems of democratic rule our far more tyrannical. Democratic governance is much more likely to tend towards bloody warfare and economic distress. 'Twas not until the Great War (in which ideological democracy tore down ideological monarchism) that we saw massive civilian casualties. Viewing civilians as targets, in my own opinion, is treating them as dirt. =|:}P

Absolute monarchies can do good for their citizens I am sure, but without the democratic consent and legitimacy of their people they can easily become corruptible.
