Crvenagrad Convention on Slavery and Human Trafficking
PREAMBLE: WE, the various nations of the World, holding the right to autonomy of the self to be inviolable by any Power, whether of this Earth or of any other, do hereby freely pledge, affirm, swear and associate ourselves and our duly-governed Nations to the Conventions contained herein, accepting the same by Law and our Sacred Honor:
I. That our State shall deprive no person of their freedom of life, liberty, property or free travel, except as due punishment for a Crime against the State in which they are resident.
II. That our State shall maintain no policy under Law which permits, condones or supports the indefinite incarceration or deprivation of right of any citizen of said State, nor which permits, condones, or supports the use of penal bondage, whether for civil or criminal matters; That in all cases of law, whether civil or criminal in nature, the Condemned shall be given due notice of the term of his or her sentence.
III. That our State shall not undertake the sale or purchase of any human being, nor profit from any labor not duly compensated.
IV. That our State shall not knowingly or intentionally offer or permit its use as a third-party to any slavery or human trafficking.
V. That our State shall maintain a "Free-Soil Doctrine," by which any person enslaved shall be considered lawfully emancipated from the instant they enter the territory thereof, and be afforded the full Right and Protection of our State.
VI. That our State shall permit no person or entity operating therein to undertake any activity proscribed within these Conventions; that said persons shall, upon conviction, be guilty of the most heinous of felonies and afforded the greatest punishments within our Law.
VII. That our State shall provide no quarter, carry no relations, and undertake no actions of any diplomatic nature with States which practice, promote, condone or encourage slavery or human trafficking, whether within their borders or those of a Foreign Land.
VIII. That our State shall provide no quarter, safe passage or right of use to any commercial enterprise, vessel or aircraft, which is registered, flagged or operated under the auspices of any State which practices, promotes, condones or encourages slavery or human trafficking, whether within their borders or those of a Foreign Land.
IX. That our State shall take all appropriate measures, as necessary and feasible, to ensure the emancipation of all those presently held in a condition of unlawful bondage, wherever dispersed throughout the World.
X. That our State shall, within its means and abilities, vigorously defend, support and assist those who operate under these Conventions with the goal of bringing about the total emancipation of Mankind.
In Witness thereof, We the Undersigned, as lawful spokespersons for our Nations, have caused our signatures to be attached to this document in legal acceptance of its terms and conditions, at Crvenagrad, in the Zapadnislav Federated Socialist Republic, upon this Twenty-Fourth (24th) day of August, in the Common Year Two-Thousand Twelve (CE 2012) and the Seventy-Fourth Year of Freedom (AL 74).
