My forces are strong for a reason. If not then my nation would have just as much forces as any of guys in this rp group. Remember my nation emphasis technology and logic and quality. Like i said, i am puny compared to everyone else. But my ships are like the Delta force of the galaxy.

Your army dosen't even matter in FT and PFT cause after the arrival of more advanced warfare, everything is fought in space or in the air.

Sometimes if the planet is important enough then a ground battle may ensue, but that is still not very likely. My people have an army just for shits and giggles. And because they damn well please too.

The only time i ever deploy my army is if my navy completly controls the space around that planet.

We would use penetration rounds to take out military strongholds while keeping cities intact and civilians alive in normal nation to nation warfare. In worldship to navy warfare and such, enemy civilians dont matter, cause they are there to simply populate our worlds after they either eat them, or kill all civilians on them.

Well, that depends.
Taking out precise targets will need soldiers.
And, if planet is valuable: orbital bombardment will destroy things on it - so again soldiers are needed.

Plus, what if planet refuses to surrender?
