Socialist can be a good thing, it just depends on how it is handled. It is just like capitalism, it can be good or bad. Norway and Canada's method of capitalism appears to be more healthy then the USA"s right now. Similarly, Sweeden's breed of "socialism" is way more healthy then that of Greece's and the USSR's (which is easily argued not even classify as socialism or communism).

Also, are you referring to my nations' crazy tax rates... Yeah... about that...

Accidental 94% here, and that's after enacting tax cut policies (it used to be 98%). At those tax rates, I'd expect the following things:

Each student's teaching is one-on-one, one teacher to one student...

Everyone has all of their needs (clean water, house, healthcare, transportation, food, recreational areas, waste disposal, internet, and clothes) provided for absolutely free, and all ventures into working is purely for want.

Arts and culture is exceptionally developed.

My defense forces, reaching an accidental 8% of my budget (7.5% of my whole GDP, which puts the USA to shame at 4%) is insanely powerful. This I did not want, but meh. All of the military is in reserve though, meaning that we're just stockpiling in case of an invasion.

And other things as well. This means... well... yeah.

Based on the fact that there is still a 49% private sector, it does speak a lot...

And I just remembered why my military budget is so high. First off, NS groups space research with the military, and to add to that, most of my military budget itself is on space research and space weapons. You're looking at a army of researchers, not a army of soldiers :p .

Only a small portion is devoted to stockpiling weapons and whatnot, so if we do get invaded, we go all guerilla/asymmetrical warfare on them.

Of course, I'm talking for if my nation was MT... FT you get this :)

Species percentage in nation: Above ground: Aius 25% Other species 75%. Underground: Aius 100%

Tech base: My own. while being post scarcity and highly advanced, the method the aius used to reach the milky way resulted in the total loss of all infrastructure. as such they are scrambling to get ground work in place before one of thier hyper advanced machines breaks and becomes totaly useless.

Weapon types: All, but with a preference for hand held devices.

Area controlled: 600ly area of galactic rim and a unknown ammount of a yet unidentified galaxy

Amount of habited planets: 110 systems, all situated in the rim

Amount of claimed planets: Ownership is a out of context idea for the aius

Space Fleet size size; 500,000
Capitol ships: 1200 (600 of wich are retrofitted colony ships)
Frigates: 100,000
Bombers/starfighters: 398800

Superweapons: "Black hole gun" utilises artificial singularity's to bombard targets with directed hawking radiation, actual projectile is for both targeting assistance, and to trick enemy ships into preparing for a physical assault.
"planet cracker" experimental teleportaion device, forces large bodies to attempt to exist in two places at once, with predictable results, is mostly used for mining as it takes a considerable time and energy to take effect.

Past RP's: none on nation states boards

I didn't intend for people in my nation to be relative druggies (slightly more then world average), but I guess that was the price I payed when I simply sided with the guy for more rights and freedoms lol.

Wait: I have another justification for that. There are drugs/herbs which make your brain better/photographic memory, and so due to the extreme emphasis on education, knowledge and etc. my nation places, some people resort to that. That and since we come from Asia, herbal medicines are used very often.

Sweet, a true commie nation :) . While it is still ultimately Hlad- shoot, he left for ten days, I'll see if I can do something- , I like your nation. Of concern is of which time period your nation would be in, and what you mean by that other galaxy you control. You'll have to explain.

Just to end the debate on who has THE Earth once and for all, as well as all other disputes. Of course, you are free to have AN Earth in your country, but it would not be THE Earth.
Call me Reno.
