The Second LAN Civil War [LAN Only]

[Austiana]

The League of Allied Nations had finally recovered from a disastrous war, first internally against The Equa Alliance, then against rival region The Independent State Allied Forces. However, tensions were high once again in the war-mongering region. The Acro-Austiana border was guarded heavily, and The LANAP Treaty had fallen apart, which had once united Austiana, Acro, Corn and Rackenshan.



King Vincent of Austiana, a decorated general, now a grand monarch, shook hands with his Cornese counterpart. Henry I, infamous leader of Corn had formed an alliance between the two nations. The Grand Treaty was now formed, uniting the people of Austiana and Corn. This treaty would unite the militaries of both nations. However, this treaty was disliked in Acro and Rackenshan, and they were forming their own alliance.

The San-Arican oil pipeline transports thousands of litres of fuel into Austiana and Corn, from just south of the Austiana-Acro border, in Acronese territory. However, today Acro has declared that that supply will no longer run into Austiana/Corn as a result of the military spending increase and the formation of an alliance. Tensions are rising highed, and another LAN civil war looks inevitable.



Will this war end diplomatically, or end as a nuclear holocaust?

[Acro]

President Maxmillian sits in his Pricate jet. His mind cluttered with matters. The alliance had detirerated quicker than he could have believed, the Anti-Acro Alliance, the military build up everything got so bad so fast.

Are you alright sir? A flight attendant look inquiringly at Maxmillian he holds a wine glass in his hand Do you want some sir?

Maxmillian shakes his head and looks down at his notes. He had to act fast or war would come once more. His father was commanding the affairs at home. He was nearly 60 years old and still had the fire.

Cedric, how much longer until we arrive in Vegetable City? A man steps from the pilot room and looks at Maxmillian

About an hour sir, the Emperor is awaiting you, abit unwillingly Cedric smiles saddly and steps back into the cockpit.
Max frowns, he tosses aside his notes and pulls a book from his briefcase "The Rise and Fall of Gundam".

Always a good read this is, I must see how to prevent this disastor from happening here. He turns to chapter 17 The Austianan Missile Crisis

When the Nation of Austiana aimed nuclear missiles on it border with Horashama, Acro sprang into action to defend its ally.
Maxmillian begins immersed in the book and barely realizes when they land in Corn

Sir we are here, the Emperor awaits you. Cedric grabs the book and places it on the table and follows Maxmillian from the plane

Emperor Henry, a pleasure as always. Maxmillian bows low, as is Corn custom. I hope we resolve this incident without bloodshed, heaven knows we don't need another Civil war. He grabs his briefcase from Cedric and gazes intently at Henry.

The same to you. Henry doesn't even attempt a smile.

[CORN]

The Emperor quickly dove in to the topic of the conversation.
Emperor Henry I: My good friend Max. I am loved by many, and hated by few. I do not want you to be that small percentage of people. Will you end this nonsense and just lets us have the petroleum??

[Acro]

Max frowns, Henry always to the point,

As I stated before I will allow the oil to go to you when you break this silly alliance and help me recreate the LAPAN. I am still shocked how quickly you betrayed me. He tightens his hold on his briefcase.I will not back down Henry.

[CORN]

Henry I: And neither will I back down, Maximilian. I want that, no, I WILL HAVE that petroleum, whether I break up my allaince or not. And you cannot stop us, you know that very clearly. Now, will you give it to me, or will we have to rip it out of your cold, lifeless hands??

[Acro]

Maxmillian eyes widen. Then his face harden, he had hoped to avoid this.

These negotiations are over. I am returning to Acro. he turns to the driver Driver back to the airport. His hands close into fists.

I had wished we could recreate the Alliance that we so unfortunatly lost. I am sorry Corn He steps from the car at the Airport I'm sorry Henry, I hope that this doesn't end badly

[CORN]

As the president left, Emperor Henry shouted at him!!
Don't deny the inevitable, Max!!!!!!!!! Would you care to surrender to me now, or will you delay the inevitable??

[Austiana]

President Vincent spoke with his senior ministers. Word had quickly passed around, that Henry and Maxmillian had an argument, further tarnishing the diminished alliance between the four nations. However, that was not why they were meeting. They were there to discuss the oil crisis.
"We can't support everyone," Minister Rowan said, "The Acronese/Rackenshan military may strike at any moment! We must give all remaining oil to the military!"
"Are you crazy!" Sir Cufftat yelled, "There would be riots everywhere!! The military is the last of our priorities!!"
President Vincent stood, silencing the room. He was a great leader, and everyone, even his enemies, respected him.
"Now, now, we do not need to raison our oil supplies. Our.... friends, in Emirasia have plenty," Vincent stunned the ministers, surely Austiana would not ally with Emirasia?
"Our enemies, for over 500 years, and we ask them for support?" Minister Penny Wong questioned.
"Yes," Vincent said simply, "Henry I and I will speak to the Great Emir, and do a little deal,"

[Acro]

Maxmillian sits despondently in his office. He stares unseeing at his desk. The door bursts open

Mr. Prsident we have word that Vincent has contacted Emirasia. He intends to have an alliance. The Minister of Defense stammers

Max doesn't react. Only nods slightly.

Sir, it is likely that Corn, Austiana, and the Emir will attack us. General Titus exclaims. Maxmillian turns his head upward and his advisors are surprised to see tears.

How did this happen, it was supposed to be a new dynasty of Democracy and peace. It was my legacy. My contribution to the world. He places his head on the desk Now, Vincent once my closest friend, turns to the Emirs who have always despised Austiana, instead of coming to me. He rises, and walks from his desk. He stares out the window.

Notify Rackenshan and put the military on high alert. We won't attack, only defend.

Tears stream from his face.

And I hope that they see reason

[Emirasia]

The Great Emir of Emirasia, surprisingly sober, sat infront of the camera and projector screen. On the other end of the line, President Vincent and Emporer Henry both sat, staring at him.
"What is it?" The Emir asked, folding his arms and crossing his eyes.
"My holiness, Acro and Rackenshan have stopped supplying oil to Corn and Austiana, we are a little short on oil," Vincent spoke up, The Emir looked at the two, desperate, yet respectable heads of state.
"Whats in it for me?" The Emir asked

[Acro]

Dear the Great and Handsome Emir,
The Nation of Acro begs for your assistance. Austitana and Corn have broken their alliance with Acro. I know that they are begging to you for help. I humbley ask your holiness to den that request. Austiana has always wronged you, look back to the days of Gundam and the Borderland Wars. We only sided with Austiana because we were blinded by their promises of greatness. We ask that you cut off their oil from Emirais and join Acro and rackenshan in this war againgst Austiana and Corn.
Hail the Emir,
Maxmillian Acronese

[CORN]

The Emperor's face turned into a big, wide smile.
Henry I: Power, just power. I know you have not experienced this in large quantities, power feels great. Its like the perfect blend of a drug, and happiness!

[Austiana]

"I also understand, my Emir, that you currently have to pay millions of dollars a year in proliferations for the war crimes your nation committed in the previous civil war," Vincent said, "That will be completely revoked, if you start regularly supplying Austiana and Corn with oil,"]
The Emir, looked unconvinced.

[Acro]

Dearest Emir,
I am willing to grant a full pardon for all war crimes, and half of Austiana and Corn if it comes to war and we win.
Maxmillian A.

[Emirasia]

The Great Emir stared at a note given to him by a humble servant. It was from Maxmillian. He looked at the pleading faces of Henry and Vincent, and had a big think about things.
"Hmmmm.... It seems Acro and Rackenshan can offer me far more than what you two can offer me, the deals off!"The Emir quickly said, but suddenly, President Vincent interrupted

[Austiana]

"...What do you say to, 42 beautiful young virgins?"Vincent suddenly said, surprising the Emir. The Emir looked quite please with the offer.

[Acro]

...."100 virgins and free weqpondry for 15 years." Maxmillian blurts quickly

[Emirasia]

The Great Emir lined up the beautiful women. 100 from Acro, 42 from Corn and Austiana. Now Vincent, Henry and Maxmillian were all in the video conference. One Austianian lady winked at The Emir.
"Aren't you cheeky!" The Emir slapped her arse, he was taking a liking for the Austianian women. He then looked at the video conference. "Vincent, Henry, throw in one tonne of alcohol and cigars and you have yourself a deal!"

[Acro]

[Please Emir look at their history they were always the Agressors. we will give you anything Max face is panicky but strong

[Austiana]

Henry and Vincent sighed as the video call ended. Both their nations would have oil once again. However, the pipeline construction must be under high security as Acro and Rackenshan will attack it and take it down at the first chance they get.
"Prepare a full mobilization of our entire military forces. If a single Acronese or Rackenshanian step across our border, shoot them to pieces!!"Vincent yelled. He was beginning to enjoy his job.

[Emirasia]

Now that the oil pipeline was now under construction, The Emir could retire to his bedroom with his beautiful Austianian virgins. He did not care for anything else, he will not get involved in the military side of things, just as long as he has his virgins, he is happy.

[Acro]

Maxmillian prepares for a last conference.

Hello Vincent, I wish to apoligize for my behavior. I have acted selfish. Austiana and Corn, my two greatest llies leaving me for the dead, it caused a panic attack. However this aggresive action you take, threatening to kill my people is unforgivable. I have terminated our alliance. I'm sorry Vincent thre is no other way. Maxmillian salutes Vincent and signs off

He turns to his cabinent

I hereby resign from my Presidency, i leave Vice President Titus Lilit in my spot. Goodbye my friends Maxmillian bows and walks from the room

[Austiana]

All along the Acronese-Austiana border, and the Corn-Rackenshan border militaries were building up. President Vincent, accompanied with his team of elite guards touched down in New Rome in Acro for a peace conference with Henry and Titus. He had a strong affirmation that this would end in tears.

His car arrived in the centre of the bustling city at the Presidential Palace. At the front door, he shook hands with the new Acronese president. Henry was already there, they sat down at a massive table with exquisite foods and delicious drinks.

"How must we maintain the peace in our region, my friends," Vincent enquired.

[Acro]

Titus had a slow deep voice, it was filled with intelligence.

I must maintain the view that the LANAP must be rebuilt. I would rather not go to war. He stared at Henry who was stuffing his face, not listening,

I would agree to lower the army if everyone did so. I would never leave Acro defenseless.

[Austiana]

"We all have the same interests, peace, and....." Vincent stopped, Henry was becoming a nuisance, "Um.... where was I? Oh yes, peace and economic prosperity is on the minds of us all, so we must achieve that by meeting demands today!"
Vincent stopped, and took a sip of water.
"Both Corn and Austiana believe a nuclear-non proliferation treaty must be adhered to," Vincent said, "In the event of conflict between our nations, the last thing we would want is a complete nuclear fallout!"
Vincent sighed, "What I'm trying to say here, is if you first resupply us with your oil, we shall consider rejoining LANAP and withdrawing all military forces from our borders, only if you do so first!" Vincent stopped. Henry continued eating.
