Finally, the natives would execute the Governor of the Colony. Indeed, Yungi Imamina and Senah Lomu personally executed them, by firing a a shotgun at him. When he finally was executed, they both declared the independence of the Worker's State of Mashariki, with Yungi becoming General Secretary, and Senah becoming the President. The Quirines now send surveyors to the continent to look for a suitable land for their harbors to be built. They seemed to send the location of borders to the Government and allowed the surveyors to go and mark the borders themselves. After an hour, news came about that Quirina is going is establish a new autonomous state, which was first a speculation. They said that the government will name it "Elburgshire". The announcement will come be said after a day, government says.

The Britannians also heard the news of expansion of Quirina upon the continent. Minutes after they heard about it, they send 5 naval squadrons, on board with 3 War Marine divisions to mark the border and occupy their claim of land there. The King-Emperor was half-pleased and disappointed when he heard the news. He was pleased because a new state could be incorporated to their Empire, but he was disappointed to see nations in the continent, making inevitable wars. He wants to name the new state, "Saint-Albans-Glory" for reverence to Saint Alban.

The Viktorikans had heard the news, too. The Supreme Generalissimo called a short meeting of what will be the resolve of VMSS in the growing powers of their neighbors. But thus, their cold war never ended. Although no stiff relations exist between his neighbors, he also sent civilian ships loaded with soldiers with 5 wings of escort biplanes to grab the claim that was marked by satellite surveying team in the Command bases. Their drives of socialist expansion shall not end here. They named their colony from a class of a vessel they made, "Karkamov".

The people of Mashariki were, in general, happy with the new government.

Indeed, by July 1913, Mashariki finally opened its borders to immigration, but it had quotas to ensure that Harapan and Swahili combined would hold 80% of the seats in Congress. By then, the Communist Party of Mashariki won all the 500 seats in Congress, and adopted the Internationale as the anthem.

Within Angelorum, two more cities, Sierra, with 20,194 people and Los Agrestos, with 21,493 people were granted by the President, and now, with 214,925 people, the President proposed of creating the Dominion of Angelorum, with the highest position being President, whilst the President of Luziyca would be the Chief Administrator of the Dominion of Angelorum.

The First Armada turned around, having been somewhat useless in defending their allies. The naval infantry re-boarded and would be shipped to the PHU. Up in the Watershed State rumours said that 'civilised' natives were roaming around with rifles like the soldiers. The men had not run into any battles or ambushes, so a camp was constructed on a hill. The woods leading up were used to make the earthworks. The native population in New Amburgh was jubilant, their economy booming with new services and native-owned businesses propping up. Foreign direct investment was low but the King insisted that his coffer open a bank, best yet his military would act as debt collectors.

Numbering only several thousand, with the naval infantry soon arriving, the defences were sparse and mostly focused on keeping the prisoners inside. Thus a more jingoist outfit needed to be formed. The governor made the decision to begin enlisting natives into their ranks. The sign-up sheets were filled within a week for a brigade. Young men who've never seen guns before and seeing the superiority to the bow knew this is how they could become the ultimate warriors. The respect earned by treating the natives with gear and diligence aided in this endeavour too.

A small stone palisade has been built around the edges of our central settlement, Port Grand (Ju Daoma), as a result of a frightening letter that was received from the Russo German Colonies.
Jinwoy doesn't have much access to things like gunpowder, because other colonists nearby our homeland tend to not want to trade it with us.
This gives the other colonial powers a significant advantage over us, but that is not to say we can take them by surprise...

A defence force recruitment programme is under way in Ju Daoma, in a attempt to raise defence force numbers.
The mines have begun digging up Gold and Silver, and they are being stored in a secret location that not even the town planners know of.

Anti Sentiment towards the Russo German Colonies grows in the general population of Ni Augustia, causing a public outcry for the defence forces to 'strike first', however, these cries are being ignored to try and avoid tensions with the Russo German Empire.

January 28th, 1913

After dozens of diplomatic talks and concessions, mostly the rally of continuous Russo-German expansion, the King had finally fallen to pleas and demands of his nobles. In the end it was decided that trade would be opened, and gunpowder would flow into the hands of Ni Augustia peoples. The gunpowder was subsidised from the mainland. However a food-gold/silver system of barter soon grew between the two nations. Cheap Ni Augustia goods, like dolls or furniture, were purchased at a discount in mainland Amburgh which would boost their exports. The King offered to send a cohort of two hundred military advisors to the nation in return for translators of the Southern Augustus tongues.

A Letter to the Russo-German Empire, People of Augustus and Colonisers:
To continue your belligerence [Russo-Germany] is a slap to our faces. Either concede the coastal lands of your nearest northern colony to Ni Augustia or redact your two most recent claims. War is not necessary and can easily be averted, there simply requires the maintenance of a balance of power. It is with the acknowledgement that the Kingdom of Amburgh declares the "Saint Peters Doctrine" where no nation shall ever be the sole pre-eminent power in the continent, re-assuring a stable and equal threat to each other that would be inclusively destructive.

On the homeland, Itanica's interests had grown greatly in this continent which had been found to be rich in certain resources. A telegram came to the governor of New Itanica from the President asking for the "immediate expansion of Itanica's holdings on the continent". The Governor decided it would be best to secure a colony next to the major river that flowed through the continent and a colony on the west coast. More colonists were brought to the continent as well as more military equipment.

June 21, 1913. 1200 hours. The Occupied Lands.
"After controlling these lands for months, we have discovered that this region, and all those surrounding, belong to the Kingdom of Amburgh as The Watershed State. We are prepared to give these lands back to their rightful owners, and return all forces to the original colony of Northern Augustus in an attempt to avoid conflict. We ask the Holy Kingdom of Britannia Augusta to do the same. I also announce, on behalf of the colony of Northern Augustus, that an alliance has been drawn up between The Incorporated States of Blastera and the Kingdom of Amburgh. We are prepared to offer military and political assistance in the case of war between the Kingdom of Amburgh and another nation. The last annoucement I have for you today is the revealing of the new leader of the Augustus colonies. After much deliberation, I have chosen Michael Atkins as the colony leader while I am away. Thank you, I will be sure to return soon." President Dale Wennel concluded his speech with a wave and a stiff march off the podium. Tensions were rising between the Russo-German Empire and several other nations, and he would have to take a stance on the dispute one of these days.

June 25th, 1913

Express lanes had been opened with Blastera, almost all of their fish was readily imported and other manufactured goods were gobbled up. New Amburgh was proving to be filled with wild consumers, eating up anything and everything fashionable. How the natives transitioned so quickly was unknown, but in a year the shoreline was unrecognisable. One long mega-city formed, Ocean's Path, and seated the government which made it the capital recently. Wood was becoming a majour export of New Amburgh. Meanwhile in the Watershed State had completed Fort Peter. Several hundred natives had moved into the fort, a market place just down the hill was where the soldiers purchased food. Ten thousand new colonists arrived to New Amburgh.

Due to the overpopulation of Tropical Amland, a new island has been founded, taking the name of "South West Islands". This island is isolated at the middle of a sea, but is still a very nice place to be. It was practically empty when we found it, apart from the beautiful nature inside it.

Michael Atkins was a amazingly calm, for a new politician. He was preparing to give his first speech to the people of Northern Augustus. He began, "As our honorable leader, President Dale Wennel, has returned The Occupied Lands to the Kingdom of Amburgh, we have had less land. This is quite alarming, seeing how fast other nations are growing while we have not grown for over two years. Because of this, we have decided to expand our lands further into unclaimed territory. Settlement can begin immediately. We have also requested that a fleet of troop transports, carrying a total of 15,000 soldiers, be sent to our colony. They will be stationed at a new fort that will be built within our new territory, Fort Atkins. I hope to lead this colony into wealth and power, thank you for giving me the opportunity." With that, he walked off the stage. The crowd's applause was an uproar.

In Angelorum, the President gave it Dominion status, creating the Dominion of Angelorum. While Luziyca will provide military protection and represent Angelorum in Foreign Affairs, it would otherwise be sovereign in all other respects. Luziycan, Latin and Swedish became official languages, while Japanese was a regionally recognized language, amongst the border region with a colony of Japan. Immediately, the flag of the Dominion was raised outside the Government Building in Aeris and gave it a Congress, led by a Prime Minister. The people supported the establishment of the Dominion, and encouraged immigration.
