About five minutes ago, around 5:48 PM, YST (Yesopalithan Standard Time), Mount Calroan, the volcano of Yesopalitha, erupted rather violently.

The top third is gone now...

The aftermath is grim... Lava flow have decimated the plains of the Southern part of the Island, volcanic ash is everywhere, the tremors have caused power to go out (I am sending this to you via a power generator), a number of cities have been leveled (thankfully no major ones so far), not by the lava anyway. The eruption caused an Earthquake of 9.6 magnitude Stansian Scale (7.2 magnitude Richter Scale), which severely damaged the Capital City of Freedom's Altar as well as the surrounding suburbs. The Death Count stands now at 5,000, but is expected to increase as search parties continue after all the ash stops falling.

Beware both Allies and Foes in Mystria. A tsunami now heads toward the Treefolk Kingdom, and about three tons of Volcanic Ash fill the skies.

This is a tragic day in Yesopalithan history.

Eurarcta has very little in terms of aid that it could offer. One potential thing we could do would be to send our Labyrinth Masons to help repair the damage. If you accept our terms of aid, we shall send it. However, we are artists, and any buildings that we rebuild will be labyrinthine. Unfortunately, given our guild-structures, the Labyrinth Masons are the only organization in any position to offer aid at this point in time. We do not have enough foodstuffs to send aid of that kind, and our 'medical' help is better avoided then used, and they are currently out of traveling funds at the moment. Nevertheless, the Labyrinth Masons are skilled in construction and can offer this aide to you. We are sorry that we cannot offer more at this time.

Nirdasil landed in her island of Yesopalitha, and was shocked by the devastation that was awaiting her.

Denasil walked, no, glided up to her, and bowed low.

"I am sorry about the state of things here, Ma'am," he apologized.

"You've done more than anyone could've asked for..." she replied, "What's the extent of the damage?"

"Freedom's Altar is halfway buried in filth. Thankfully, the Sacred Heart was left untouched, so the Basketball games for the International Basketball Championships can still be played there. Wolvesbane was hit really bad.. And the farms of the south have all been burned by the lava. We are still without power... We're in a bad shape, Ma'am," stated Denasil.

"The d.. Death Count?" stammered Nirdasil.

"15,000 and counting..." sighed Denasil.
