We Need Territory!, screamed the headline of the Patricant Bugle.
Invasion is the solution!, said the St. Waldo Times.
Expansion or bust!, read the Patricant Herald.

The population realized that expansion was the only solution. They held peaceful protests outside the Department of War. The papers bombarded the Ministers and the President, asking to invade another country for the sole purpose of expansion. Finally, the government gave in. The president revealed in a press conference yesterday his plans to invade Belize. We ask the assistance of any other country. If you help us, we will allow you to basically share Belize with us. Long live Patricant!

We plan to capture Belize province-by-province. We are planning to strike against the southern province of Toledo. The first settlement we will try to take is Barranco. If we succeed there, we should have all territory to the Moho River.

To prevent war, We are willing to sell our Island colony off the coast of Haiti to the Patricantians for 10,000,000 Marks. This is a lower amount than such a war would cost.

We shall accept your offer for the island colony off Haiti. The money has been wired and we are grateful for your offer. However, we are invading Belize for two reasons, the need of more land (more than any island colony can offer), as well as tense political relations. We do not mean to disrespect your nation, but shall continue with our invasion of Belize.

The Patricant Herald reports that today, the Ministry of War approved the use of the Navy, Air Force, Army, Marines, Terrain Forces (soldiers that specialize in tough terrain), and the PSS ( the Patricant version of the CIA) in the approaching invasion of political enemy Belize . These reports were confirmed by Minister of War, Pierre Wele.

8 LD class destroyers have set sail for the coastal town of Barranco, carrying 2,500 sailors. 4 Sturgeon class transport ships are also on their way. They are holding:

5,000 Army soldiers w/ 45 Ocelot land-vehicles
4,000 Marines w/ 2,000 freshwater military jet-skis and 25,000 food and medical kits
15 Trug class tanks, 15 Caiman class river/lake submarines, and 25,000 military tents
5,000 Terrain Forces troops w/ 150 Driver class off-road military golf carts and 200 Humvees

Back in Patricant, an Air Force brigade is being assembled...
