As soon as Kalumba gets the time, we'll start it up again. I have never known him to forget about an RP and am fully confident that he will return as soon as able, even if that means a month from now. I've maintained an otherwise-inactive storyline longer than that.

The smaller and shorter it is, the better. We won't escalate. Honestly, Vatan and Nalaya were both hoping the Kalumbans wouldn't react like they did. No one likes sending their kith and kin off to their deaths.
Additionally, I don't use WMDs ever. They're a recipe for mutually assured destruction. So it's not going to happen, no worries. Expect diplomatic and economic sanctions way before war.

Glad to hear it. To be honest, the Norvenians watching the situation were hoping for a more diplomatic resolution too. And even if Norvenians and Nalayans do end up in combat, I won't escalate either. This thing stays localized, even if it does explode.

Might be worth it to have Nalaya and Norvenia talk. Someone needs to convince Kalumba not to keep poking Vatan in the eye with a sharp stick, and Norvenia is the only one with sway over them.

However i will still be willing to look for a diplomatic solution but it will need less hostility towards the Kalumbans and much reduced demands. You cannot expect Kalumba to remove all sanctions because Vatan has finally started to stop BAPLs free reign with the nation.
On another note as vaguely mentioned in my last post severe weather is beggining to interrupt all communications with the outside world. While it is not now serious the weather will become progressively worse until such communications are nigh on impossible, but i will post when that happens so carry on as if there are no major issues. This will only last a short time but could lead to some diplomatic misunderstandings and make the IC a little more lively without going beyond the brink and starting an all out war.

I know, Mr Limbani may be playing a part in a coup attempt in the near future and has more to gain from an unstable region than one at peace. He also lost his wife to BAPL insurgents so doesn't hold anyone who harbours them with much respect. However President Omeru is always willing to talk if he has better information on the talks than that he recieved from his deputy.
