Measek, Capital of the Republic of Armedland
James T. Johnson, leader of the Armedlandian Anarchists ducks into a building and waits for the government soldiers to pass by. He waits quietly for several moments and then sprints out of the building and into the street. He hears gunfire in the distance, and wonders if it is military or crime. He neither knows nor cares.
"Hey!" A nearby soldier yells. James turns the corner and doesn't look back.
2 hours later, he waits on the roof of the plaza hotel with 4 armed guards as a transport helicopter comes down for him.
"Let's go to Fort South."

Orchid Island
Midnight
Field Marshal Holmes of the PCLA stares at the map of the city of Rasagal. His army of 200,000 is preparing for sea-drop into the outskirts, followed by a surprise attack on the large southern city. Turmoil has been building up for quite a while in the city, and with the small military presence, it should be a clean enough invasion.

The Ministerial Manor
Cydysa, Ruridova

Far away, in a large, powerful nation, Prime Minister Nathaniel Brixton stared out the windows of the Ministerial Manor towards the Halls of Parliament and Judicial Houses. Yet another matter had been brought to his attention. Armedland.
Ruridova was a large country, led by a Prime Minister, Parliament, and High Court. They did have a monarch, Crown Princess Katharrrine II, but she held little to no power. And since Parliament and the Court hadn't voted on it, he would have to do all the thinking about it.
It was also not a good time to be making big decisions. Why? It was election season. On January 2 in 2001, they would vote for Prime Minister-his position. And big moves like wars and bailouts can raise-or wreck- your chances. Hell, they didn't happen to be close to the election. When Prime Minister la Vellas occupied Mosulistan, he had pulled out of Xai Sun Nam, calling it "a waste" and firmly thinking that Mosulistan needed more defending. He also was unable to find the infamous terrorist Khaled Bashir. Many said this was why he lost in 1986, and it was viciously debated that election as well.
Yet there the analogy fell apart, for one reason. He was simply being handed a piece of paper with all the names of each side. Nicolas la Vellas had had a much tougher time. They had at first been told by General Hossayin of Mosulistan al-Sadria was housing the terrorists that had killed Crown Prince David V. They nearly invaded there until info came in that Mosulistan was lying. They invaded Xai Sun Nam after Rama Emmanuel, a leader of the revolution, killed la Vellas' predecessor, Anton Shiftwell, when he was meeting the soon-to-be-dead President Shihoku Sung of Xai Sun Nam.(Of course it was generally acknowledged that Ruridova's response was overblown- the Ruridovans napalmed the forests, firebombed the capital of Tien Sum, and attempted to assassinate President Deng Yaobang and an unknown Legionican ambassador who was now Chairman Cicero Sanguine of Legionica.) And there had been five intertangled sides in Kandaristan.
Yet here it was relatively easy. The current government. It was capitalist. Yeah, it was authoritarian and corrupt, but Bayern-Cechy was always corrupt, even as a communist state as it was in the 1980s. Besides- you had to make sacrifices like that. He circled the choice labelled "Current(Capitalist)" and sent it off to Parliament. He expected it to pass easily(it did). It was mild, only calling for weapons and technology for the Capitalists- we wouldn't be in a second Kandaristan quite yet.

Meanwhile in The Most Serene Republic of Acerbic, the Minister of Defense and Minister of Foreign Relations met and created a bill to aid the Armedland Rebels. It specifically outlined that nothing was to go to the religious rebels, but both the Communists and Socialists would be getting Acerbician assistance. To be specific, many weapons and How-To-Use-Your-Gun guides were being dropped, with the guide normally tied to the gun with a rope. If the situation got too out of Acerbic's hands, 20 Medium Tanks were currently ready to be brought by ship to Armedland.

The bill:

We must assist the global revolution everywhere it appears, and this includes Armedland. While we cannot give the amount of support Legionica can supply, we can send enough assistance to help root the rebellion in, so that even if they cannot win they will be very hard to defeat. This will wear out the decadent enemy, and allow any remaining or new rebels to overthrow the capitalist dogs more easily. In any case, we can not let the filth of a cult take over. Thus, no support will go towards the religious uprising. Religion must remain peaceful, violent religions are cults.

It was approved by the Ministry, though the Minister of Defense still would have done it if he was refused.

Pamphlets were also dropped reading:
"To the leaders of the Communist and Socialist revolutions; The glorious republic of Acerbic will be giving you what support can be mustered. While we cannot supply the amount of aid that a large nation such as Legionica can send, we have devoted all available assets in the area to your cause. ~ The Supreme Ministry of Acerbic"

Rasagal
Armedland
'

Day 2 of the communist invasion of Rasagal

Lieutenant Johnson leads the first communist batallion into the town hall, the last stronghold of the Capitalists. Of the 25,000 government Soldiers stationed in the city when the invasion began, only 300 remained.
In the battle of western sector, 40% of the Government army here was captured and 20% was killed. The survivors scattered and were picked off.
Johnson would no longer call it a town hall. Now it was a fortress. Turrets and sandbags left no flank open, and Johnson's first battalion, made up of 1,000 men know that the soldiers in the hall would rather die than surrender. It was estimated that the government army would be attacking by nightfall of day 3, so their orders was to take the hall by any means necessary. He waits patiently for exactly 10 minutes, and then takes out his radio.
"Fire at will".

Captain Orca, Captain of his 20-man platoon, opens fire with his Barrett REC7 and the rest of his men follow. It is his job to take out the 6 machine gunners holding the western flank with limited fatalities, and then to rendezvous with two other platoons and raid the massive building quietly.
He falls away from the battle into cover for a few seconds and radios his sniper team.
"Snipers in position?" He yells over gunfire.
"Red team is in position. Requesting permission to fire."
"Granted!"
Sniper rounds catch two of the machine gunners and throw them off of their chairs as Johnson gets back into the battle, assault rifle blazing.

Orchid Island

Prime Minister Armin of the Communist Movement reads over the message from Acerbic:

We must assist the global revolution everywhere it appears, and this includes smaller and less strategic countries like Armedland.
"Interesting. Mitchell, look at this."
Horatio Mitchell, Leader of the PUSA socialist movement, walks over to Armin.
"That could be very very important, eh? Acerbic is a small but strong nation." Mitchell replies.
"So, how are the plans for operation: Island Storm coming?"
"Well so far...It will be a few weeks before we can put together an army of 90,000, however."
"I noticed they gave no mention to the anarchists."
"Irrelevant, like the theocracy. They will never stage a revolution. It is up to us."
"Yes, but I wonder what their opinions are..." (OOC: HINT HINT)

Fort South

By the time James arrived in the city, the uprising had already begun. It had been expected, and the Anarchist people's army of 8,000 had come to aid the civilian uprising. Government helicopters were flying over the town already, hitting the civilians, armed with very little, hard. There were 20,000 soldiers stationed in the city. However, at least 60,000 badly armed civilians had attacked, and the elite force of 8,000 Anarchists were hours away from the city.

James joins the army and gives them a large speech before they head into the battlefield, and 2 days later, by a miracle, the Anarchist army has secured the great city.

After 25,000 civilian fatalities, 2,000 Anarchist Fatalities and 7,000 Government fatalities, the Government surrendered in exchange for a free pass out. The anarchists rejected and the army was taken prisoner. Soon, the Socialists invade Armedlandian island with barely any hindrance.

The victory raises the spirits of the town. but the 27,000 fatalities dampens it. Almost everyone in the city has lost a friend or family member.

Measek

War Council of Armedland

Jorge Armedland, Minister of Defense of the Government, is under heavy pressure to turn the war around before the rebels push deeper into the mainland. Though most of the towns are content with the current rule, some of them are not, and the rebels will take advantage of that...

He looks at a map of current armedland and winces.

"Shit!" Brixton said as his Intelligence Minister, Sylvain Alberti, briefed him on the situation in Armedland and Acerbic. It was obvious that Ruridova would need to do more than give them a few weapons. He turned to Alberti. "I want about a third of what equipment we can spare sent to the Capitalists in Armedland. And I want you to send a few divisions of infantry, armor, artillery, and some of the Mirage 3000s as well." Alberti ran off to the Department of Defense Headquarters, a few streets down. As he showed his ID and entered, he muttered, "Doamne, ce acum?" and went to speak to Defense Minister Joao Borbon, a decorated General and war hero. He entered and went up to Borbon(sporting a freshly grown black mustache and a cigar), calmly sitting in a chair. Borbon looked up and said, "Yes, Minister Alberti?" Alberti simply said, "Brixton wants some supplies and units sent to the Armedland Caps." Borbon raised his eyebrows and signaled for a soldier to come closer. "PM wants the usual sent to the Caps in Armedland, pronto." The soldier gave a crisp salute(putting 2 fingers on his forehead with the otherwise closed palm facing outwards), and a "Yes, sir!" before running off. As the soldier and Alberti walked away, Borbon locked his doors, picked up a phone, and dialed a number. The person on the other end picked up and said, in Aleksian, "Yes, Agent Borbon?" The traitorous defense minister calmly relpied in equaly good Aleksian, "Alert Acerbic and the Armedland Liberators. There will be Ruridovan reinfocements coming. Prepare." He hung up, unlocked the doors, and resumed to puffing on his thick cigar.

Ulaan
Government-controlled Armedland

General James D. Eise of the free capitalist movement loads his rifle. His militia of 2,000 soldiers are not the strongest army in Armedland, but no one would expect an uprising in a landlocked city. There has been a small amount of tension in the city, but the citizenship are mostly happy with the current state. Well, he would show them the new movement.
Only 500 soldiers are stationed in the small city, so the invasion should be fairly clean, he thinks.
A voice crackles over the radio of his bunker in the southern section of the Ulaan.
"Awaiting your order."
"All units in position?"
"Yes sir."
"Fire at will."
He hears from a distance gunfire crackle and civilians yelling and running to their homes. He cocks his rifle and waits.

Three days later

Ulaan has become "The Free City-State of New Armedlandia", and the free army is now one of the primary rebel groups in the land. Consisting of 300 tanks and 10,000 free troopers, they are industrializing the small town and showing the rest of the nation just what a better capitalist system can do.

Measek

After another long and difficult war counsel meeting, it is clear to president Arcturus that it would take almost 400,000 casualties to retake Rasagal at current standards. However, the Socialists are still vulnerable. If the army can crush them now, the war could turn around. Arcturus has made his decision by the end of the day.
He says solemnly "Activate Operation Sealion."

Socialist-Controlled Armedland
2 days later
First Lieutenant Hyatt leads the red army into combat in the battle of Thera

Hyatt leads his force of 60,000 Red Guards into the first river. They are preparing for a surprise attack against a government force of 70,000, hoping to rout the force with limited fatalities. Suddenly Captain River yells and Hyatt sees the maybe 50 soldiers running towards the hill.
"Catch them! They saw our forces! If they make it to their camp, we are forfeited!

His massive army heads for the figures over the horizon, sprinting as fast as they can.

Meanwhile Private Jones, one of the fastest recruits in the army, runs faster than any of the others, taking out two of the fleeing men with his colt. As he reaches the hill, he sees his worst fear realized:

all 70,000 men of the government army, laying in wait. They are surrounded.

The Government army opens fire almost simultaneously on the Red Guards, killing too many to count. Hyatt yells, rifle blazing, but a bullet catches him in the head and he is dead before he hits the ground.

6 hours later

40% of the red army is KIA, and 50% is missing. The remaining 6,000 soldiers managed to break the line, flee and dig in at the small fort town of Alamo. (OOC: remember this is not on earth so they don't know what happened XD)

Under Major Forte, they have managed to create adequate fortifications, and are waiting for the army to finish the battle. However, what they do not know is that the Government army has already passed by and captured the major city of Portville. With only two hundred soldiers there, a surrender was forced.

Visose, Cresilia
Outside Government House
Days after the Armedland uprising

As the large black limousine pulled up to the Government House, home of the State Department, President Hunter sighed at the many reporters gathered on the marble steps. This was probably about that backwater Armedland, they happened to be having themselves a nice little conflict all right in the middle of his goddamned election season. Oh well, he thought, he would act in some way.

As he stepped out into the crisp morning air, the crush of reporters seized the opportunity to ask some quick questions to the President.

"Mr. President, Tom Belanger, Cresilia News Network, how is your government responding to the socialist uprisings in Armedland?"

President Hunter smiled, a broad 1000 watt smile that awed voters back in '96. "Well Tom, I can tell you we aren't sitting on our hands on this one. You have the full assurances of my administration that Cresilia will act in an official and very visible manner. We can not allow free people to be subjugated by a socialist rebellion."

There were mummers amongst the reporters as they mulled over the response, before one more started a question.

"Mr. President, Angela Freeman, Liberty City Times. Would you consider the deployment of troops to stop a socialist uprising?"

President Hunter responded immediately, "Angela, you have my assurance that Cresilian lives and property will not be put to undue risk by this uprising. However, I will not rule out the deployment of military or humanitarian assets for this conflict. Now thank you for your time people, but I really must be going." He flashed his trademark smile, and began to walk up the steps as the assembled media erupted in a cacophony of noise.

1st Marine Division
Camp Risen Hope
Republic of Cresilia

The base was abuzz with activity, men running to a fro, frenziedly preparing for the 1st MEU to be put to sea, destination: Armedland. Although the President had initially ruled out intervention in Armedland, it had become unavoidable. Fears that socialists in Armedland could execute a takeover overrode all fears of public backlash. Besides, all the equipment was just collecting dust anyways.

As the commanding officer of the 1st Marines, General Horace Jameson was one tough son of a bitch. He had seen more deployments in the last ten years than most men saw in their lives. He was also privy to the battle plans laid out by his higher ups in the Joint Chiefs.

It was relatively simple, the three Marine divisions that made up the 1st Marine Expeditionary Unit were to set sail for Armedland. Along the way they would link up with the RoCS Constitution and her battlegroup. From there, they would sail on Armedland, and execute landings on Orchid Island and the mainland, with 3rd MarDiv held in reserve. 1st MarDiv would create beachheads on Orchid, dig in, and let the flyboys pound the Island to dust, while 2nd MarDiv landed on the mainland and tried to link up with capitalist, or government forces. Simple enough plan, which was in the General's opinion, the best kind of plan.

There was the small problem of Acerbic arming people, that was thought to be of minor importance to the overall objectives at hand.

The General smiled. If the socialists can take the shit we are throwing at them, they can have the goddamned country...

Gov't Controlled Armedland
1 day later

Hans Kristina sat in the belly of a bomber that had been converted into a troop carrier. The belly had been filled with him, his fellow troops, motorcycles, tanks, jeeps, and some artillery positions. As they headed down they found a military airfield and touched down(though the men in the control tower sounded hesitant), and they all got out as a group of soldiers approached. One of them, presumably the commander, said "Why are you here, Ruridovans?" The pilot went to the back, pulled out a remote, and pressed a button. Everyone backed up as the area below the tail fin opened up, revealing the massive amount of equipment. The Armedlandian was speechless.

Rasagal outskirts

Gunfire rings out across the Southern line. 2/3 of the PCLA's red guards are holding the line of Rasagal and ensuring that the government does not push through to the great city. After the rebel offensive, the government has used mass supplies provided from Cresilia and Ruridova to massacre badly-supplied rebel troops across the nation. The line is well fortified, but the government will eventually break it...

Southern Gulf,
S.S. Marxl

Admiral Mikhail Shepard, looking to redeem himself after a major failed battle, has taken command of the largest Frigate in the PCLA's Red Navy. six hundred men are on the ship, even though it is on patrol in the gulf of the south off the coast of the mountains. It is simply a normal patrol until he hears a disturbing order.
"Sir!" Captain Arm yells. "I see at least three landing ships over the horizon! Orders?"
Three landing ships. That's suspicious, but they still need to attack them.
"Fire on my command! Battle Stations!"
"Yes sir!"
"Fire!"
One of the ships is hit hard, and it looks sinkable with a few more hits.
"Wait! Sir!" Arm yells.
"What is it, captain?"
"We've got three Government Frigate's closing in on us! We're surrounded!"
Oh my god, he thinks. This is it...
"Redirect all fire to hostile warships! Forget the landing vessels-"

The ship shakes, hit by torpedos, and Arm is almost thrown off the boat.
Mikhail sees planes over the horizon, and plans for a surrender, but it is too late. Air strikes throw soldiers off of the frigate, the men resort to firing at the now nearby ship with machineguns.
And suddenly, Shepard realizes what is happening. He yells to the captain, "Target the landing boats! They're trying to flank our ground troops!"
"Yes sir!"

Torpedos strike the landing boat and it goes down immediately. He grits his teeth and crouches as torpedos disables the ship.
"Evacuate! Evacuate!" He yells down, as government troops parachute down, killing everyone on the deck and wounding the Admiral. As bullets fly, he pulls out a colt and fires a few times before dying, and the ship sinking.

Orchid Island

Gunfire can be heard everywhere on the island, with the Government closing in. Ruridovian and Cresilian supplies have made the invasion possible, and extremely easy.
Horatio Mitchell and Prime minister Armin sit in their bunker. awaiting news about the outside world. Acerbic has offered some support, but nothing compared to the capitalists.
They see a war map and how capitalist troops have captured factories along the coast, and are pushing to their location as they speak. If they do not get foreign support soon, the war will be over in a week...

Ruridova had a knack for ending wars quickly if it was tired of fighting in them- and not always through peace. Many troops would instantly surrender as the tanks & men with Ruridovan markings and uniforms came, remembering the vicious Tien Sum Firebombing and the Assault on Dharat.
Of course, Ruridova had a knack for firebombing and napalm. The incendiary devices had played large roles in the Hungramian War, Second War on the East(or, as Xia Sun Nam called it, The Second War of Western Aggression), and the Mosulistani-Sadrian War. Now a group of 10 to 20 Superfortresses(as well as some Mirage 3000s and V3 Rurifighters) had been dispatched to destroy an army base on Orchid Island, as well as an odd bunker complex nearby. The bombers went below radar altitude and suddenly pulled up as they neared the base. The fighter defense and SAms began wildly firing, but the bombers damaged many runways and hangars before the planes to took off. And while the SAMs took a heavy toll, the Rurifighter had special missiles for getting SAMs. After the base had been hit by the incendiary bombs, the bombers dropped napalm on the nearby forests, setting them ablaze.

Gulf of Rasagal

Horatio and Prime Minister Arnim sit in the transport helicopter, fearing the future. Foreign intervention is what will bring their downfall, so they need to get foreign intervention in their support. Arnim takes out a piece of paper and begins to write a letter to the powers it needs support from.

To the esteemed leaders of Legionica, Salvarity, Xai Sun Nam, and Alekesgrad. We are looking to establish a great and powerful communist state using the resources and hard workers of our nation. If we were given military support, whether by off-the-books funding or sending troops, we could bring this wealth and support to you. The Capitalist Imperialists have pushed us to the edge, and we are stranded in the city of Rasagal. Please help us in any way.
For the glory of Communism!

Port of the south

An eerie silence washes over the port city, as they await the allied attack. The town guard was had already surrendered, and all that remained was the four hundred government soldiers who had barricaded themselves into a nearby church. As the allied forces set upon the town, the mayor welcomes them and agrees to serve under their rule. The army is glad to oblige, and stations at least 40,000 of their own in the port.

Within the time that the government focused on the Socialist/communist Alliance, the AOA (Newly renamed anarchists of Armedland) FCMA (Free capitalist movement of Armedland), and PTA allied together to form "The Alliance" and established a base in Ulaan, the primary industrial zone of the rebels. This allowed them to expand to control central and southern Armedland, and expanding their army to a force of
1.8 million soldiers,
3000 Ulaan A145 Armored Tanks,
30 Nift-83 Assualt Helicopter,
and 12 Ulaan Bombers

While the news of a unification against the government made Brixton uneasy, he had a simple answer to their call: yet more wide-bellied planes would come, loaded with Rurudiovan tanks and men. Several Mirage 3000s, Rurifighters, and a few Superfortresses were now located in Capitalist Armedland.
No matter how hard they tried, the rebels didn't stand a chance.

The war is at the largest point of conflict as two sides finally form for the final battle for rule over the island.
The Theocratic Militia, The Free Capitalists, The Anarchists of Armedland, and the Socialists have finally united into the "United Front". It is the greatest manifestation of people setting aside their differences and fighting for the greater good that the world has seen in a long time, in this day and age.
The United Front, just 4 weeks after it's founding, has already captured it's lost cities and taken the Western cities of Tor and Port of the West.
The United Front
2.9 million soldiers,
7000 Ulaan A145 Armored Tanks,
85 Nift-83 Assualt Helicopter,

Two months pass, with neither side making a move. The Ruridovian supplies are ensuring the government can defend with their air force, but the rebels anticipated air power and built heavy anti-aircraft weaponry with the resources and money provided by international governments.

Soon, the government realizes that if they do not act soon, the rebels, who control the west, will industrialize and defeat the government finally.

Fortville

Much of the government air force offered by Ruridovia, and a ground force of 300,000 men and 200 tanks, advance into the industrialized city. Only 95,000 men were estimated to be stationed in Fortville, so a fairly clean invasion is expected. Jorge Heim, the commander of the 40 bombers preparing to end the siege quickly, head for an early bombing run.

"All units to bomb when ready." He says into his radio.
A chorus of "yes sir"s follow.
Suddenly, the two planes next to him explode and he hears gunfire all over the place blowing up nearby ships.
"What the hell is happening?!" He yells.
"They've got anti-aircra-" One of his pilots yell, but he is cut off by his ship exploding.
"All Units! Come in!" But it's too late. The fleet is down to 20 ships at most, and his radio is down.
"Shit! Shi-" He goes down as well.

OOC: Because they're the existing government. Besides, the Democratic Capitalists are allied with the insane theocrats, the evil anarchists, and the filthy commies.

IC: Meanwhile, a large Ruridovan landing fleet was heading towards a coast controlled by the rebels. They had gotten cocky, and left this area nearly undefended. The ships were escorted by several dozen Superfortresses loaded with napalm and incendiaries as well as many Mirage 3000s and Rurifighters. The Bombers and fighters flew ahead and napalmed the coast ahead. A few minutes later, hundreds of Ruridovan men and tanks, as well as some artillery, motorcycles, and medical units. There had been few casualties outside of about 5 planes that had crashed. The rebels would now have to rush forces back here, and the area still controlled by the capitalists was getting even more reinforcements....

Tirolia, Ruridovia

Josef Armin and 4 others grip their rifles, keeping on the ground of the car as they pull up to a small alley.

"You all ready? We are doing this for the betterment of the nation." He says quietly as he parks.
3 "yes's" assure him.
"Masks on."
He waits as they put on the ski masks.
"Let's go, then."

The three four burst out of the car, brandishing Armedlandian-Made M71H Silenced Automatic Rifles, and quickly begin gunning down the 3 civilians near them. It looks like a family.

They scream, but no one can hear or no one cares. They then proceed into the main street, taking off the silencers and taking the civilians out en masse. People attempt to assault them hand-on-hand, but they are killed quickly.
"This is the first of many!" Josef Screams. "You shall die for your insult to Armedland! Helping the dictators over the holy theocracy!"
Meanwhile, Ruridovian police have arrived and are firing at the men,as they flee and turn the corner, shooting at anything or anyone that is in their way. By this time, only eight police are still pursuing them.

3 hours later

Josef and the one remaining soldier board an transport helicopter, built by Acerbic and head for an undisclosed zone of Ruridovia. As they check the international news, they see the death toll: 60 civilians and 6 police.
But Josef and the man in the cockpit know that this is only the beginning. Until the Ruridovians withdraw, there will be more death in the filthy capitalist nation.

Phase one is over.

The Ruridovan populace was panicked at the first attack on Ruridova itself since 1981- and so many innocent men were killed. Tirolia was an alpine tourist town- 27 of the 66 dead killed weren't Ruridovan- they were tourists. Vetalians, Cresilians, and Altruistic Paladiners had been shot on vacation.
Brixton was understandably pissed. Police, ambulances, and troops rushed into Tirolia- already near Ruridova's military HQ. He had ordered all flights grounded and all flights heading into the country diverted to Vetalia, Legionica, Sakurakoku, and Cresilia. Ruridova's largest air carrier, Ruridovan Airways, practically shut down, and hundreds of ferries turned around to return to the port they had most recently left. Police roamed the streets, and all government officials had been rushed off to hidden bunkers and put under heavy guard. All forces were on high alert, and massive offensives were planned in Armedland, where the mass murderers came from. The Ruridovans knew why they had attacked: involvement in Armedland. Yet the intended goal of the terrorists had been to pull them out. That would never happen now. Now.. now Ruridova would flood troops into Armedland, vanquishing the theocrats and their allies...
The terrorists had doomed the cause they were trying to support.

Sven Iofurson was scrambled into his Mirage 2000 that morning of September 7th. He turned on the throttle and took off in a sea of Rurifighters(technically they were called Typhoons and Rurifighter was the manufacturer, but since the only plane Rurifighter had ever made was the Typhoon, the plane adopted the company's name), Mirages, Rafales, Gripens, and a new addition- F-22s. The fighters also noticed that, nearby, several B1B Lancers, Peacekeepers, and Superfortresses were taking off. The news came in from base radio: 66 had been killed in Tirolia by Armedlandian terrorists. The massive fighter and bomber fleet was told to make Tor burn. The plan(tried and tested on Dharat, Mosulistan during the Mosulistani-Sadrain War with good results) was to surround the city with the napalm, dodging the SAMs in the city- while any that had a chance of hitting the bombers was to be taken out by the massive fighter escort group. They would encase Tor in flame, surrounding it, so that no one could escape as the fire moved in, burning the city- and any forest where troops might be hiding- to the ground.
Iofurson personally didn't think he would like doing this, but there was a reason. These people had killed innocent Ruridovans- and Cresilians, Vetalians, and Altruistic Paladiners as well. He also had been given orders. Orders nullify humanity. That was the policy of militaries everywhere.
He flew off with the group, and eventually a bomber pilot said, "Here's the target, men. Light her up like a candle!" The pilots cheered. The fighters dived down, firing torpedoes at the SAMs while nearly level with the treetops. Behind them, the bombers began to come in, lighting the sides of the city, both on the land, and on the coastline. The city immediately began glowing yellow and red. The bombers reported they had plenty more napalm and incendiaries. With that the fighters took out SAMs in the city, and the bombers moved in and burnt that to the ground. A few more bombers dropped their last few bombs onto some dimly lit highways and into the forests.
When the Ruridovans left, Tor was registered by a USAP imaging satellite as "noticeably brighter, almost abnormally so".
The Ruridovans planned to do similar things with the other cities controlled by the United Fronts(and possibly the Communists) within a week in revenge for the mass-murder in Tirolia.

A large shadow grew upon the water. That shadow grew quickly, consuming almost the sun's light upon the ocean. The shadow was of the First Legionican Airforce, other known as the Flying Eagles. Heading the largest V formation was the infamous bomber, the Red Marauder, followed by assortments of fighters and other, smaller bombers. They had been sent by the Legate personally, on orders directly from the Chairman himself.

Official Letter of Announcement
From the Office of the Chairman of Legionica
To the Leaders of the Socialist Revolutionaries
Concerning Support in Said Revolution

Dear Comrades,

In my searching of the world for a good ally in this ever changing reality, I have stumbled upon your struggles here. I am not one much for defeat, so expect us to use every and all resource we have to help you rise against your suppressors. I have sent over a special Air Team to help soften up defenses first, but I will send more attack forces soon. Now, I must ask that you promise undying devotion to Legionica and her allies for us to actually be able to help you. This is never a bad thing, as our economy is strong and our army brave, and by proving yourself as an ally of the great Legionican Eagle, you also gain relations and the help from her allies as well. Good luck with your revolution.

Signed,
Chairman Cicero Sanguine
Empire of Legionica

Measek
"After the burning of Tor and the mass killing of over 5 million people, the Theocracy is banned from both Government Controlled and Rebel Controlled Armedland. Further Reports say that all fatalities were civilian."

Central Armedland
Senior Airman Mitchell cringes after hearing the news over radio. Without hesitating, he orders his 4-Rurifighter group of native Armedlandians to destroy the 3 Ruridovian bombers they are escorting.

After the news reached the cities in Armedland, uprisings and mutinies raged through the land. Measek had mass riots, uncontrollable by the military which was on the front, and at least 40% of the air force commanded by the government begin shooting down Ruridovian aircraft. Armin city, the primary population center of the north, crumbles, falling into anarchy.

Rasagal
General Hyatt, a war veteran, leads his new Legionican army into the battle of Solaris, aiding the civilian uprisings around the region. With the government only fully controlling Warville and New Mexico, they have been forced to take out massive loans from other nations to keep up their massive army and the Ruridovian forces stationed. The economy is on the edge, and they need hundreds of billions of shells to keep up the nation at the current standard.

Hyatt smiles and begins the siege of New Mexico.

"Sir... the Armedlandians have turned." Joao Borbon said as he entered the office of Nathaniel Brixton. Brixton glanced up(obviously not listening) and muttered, "Wha?" Borbon chewed his cigar to stifle growing frustration. "The Capitalists attacked our bomber fleet," Brixton suddenly realized what Borbon had told him. He flipped his desk over, breaking a lamp and sending papers flying. "WHAT?!" Brixton yelled. Borbon flinched- Brixton never got this angry. "A-after the bombing of Tor... 40% of the fighters- mostly ones under the command of the Armedlandian Government.... the fighter escorts shot them down! 40% of bombers are gone, we've lost most of our fighter defense-" Brixton kicked his chair into a wastebasket and knocked over the Ruridovan flag by his desk, his face purple with rage. "After how we vowed to protect them, after how well we did for them...the bitches turned traitor? They spoon-fed us that...bullshit about being our allies- and I ate it up!" Borbon was terrified. What would happen when Brixton found out he was a traitor, helping Aleksegrad and Acerbic? No, Brixton could never find that out.
Brixton panted with rage, staring at Borbon amid the now messy office. 'You tell Armedland this," he growled to Borbon. "You tell them that they can either fire the traitorous...assholes and return command of all Ruridovan equipment to us so that they can survive, and if they refuse, we're taking our supplies by force and leaving them to suffer." Borbon, a tactical genius said, "But, sir, then they'll-" he paused as Brixton gave him an icy stare. "I've made up my mind. Tell Armedland it has 48 hours to comply or we're leaving them to die."
Borbon rushed out of the office, terrified.
