With the power vested in my by the Board of Minister's and as the King of Danatha, I herby declare war on Syvorji.

The Grand Duchy of San Monteriano, in accord with the terms of the Commonwealth of Crowns (CoC) constitution, declares its allegiance to the Bristish Empire and declares war on the nation of Syvorji. This nation - Syvorji - has troubled our region and its member-nations for far too long now and we shall not stand by as its government becomes more unstable. We shall aid our allies - fellow members Danatha and Osthia - with military support. The government of the Grand Duchy of San Monteriano pledges 250,000 active military personnel, excluding non-military personnel and/or naval and air force personnel. With the permission of the government of Bristain, we shall begin the immediate dispatch of our forces. Please give us coordinates or directions of important enemy targets for our initial air strikes, named Operation: Eagle. Please write back as soon as possible regarding this crucial matter.

Meanwhile, the San Monterrean armies began to assemble for the immediate assistance of Bristain and its colonies. Nations, such as Syvorji, needed to be stopped, and the Grand Duchy would aid their allies.

"200,000 men," the commander told his generals, "shouldn't be a problem for our 850,000 land units, plus our aircraft will be able to deal a massive blow. But still, a strategy is needed, gentlemen." Nods of consent came from all three of the generals present. "Alright then. We'll start with a naval bombardment of the coast, a light one. Then, we'll have the bombers take off from their designated aircraft carriers and bomb the shit out of the place. We'll have our fighters escort the bombers just in case they run into some opposition. During the second bombardment, I'll give the order for our land units to mobilise onto the Syvorjian coast. The Syvorjians will be demoralised, devastated, and they may either retreat or surrender. If they don't, then obviously our troops will follow the Code of Conduct and take prisoners. POWs will be taken with us so that they will be under constant surveillance. From there, we'll wait for the British to come on over so that we can form a single, united front against the Syvorjians-" a sailor then came over to the Commander and handed him a note. OOC: How is it godmod? My nation can field such an army, it has an Imperial population of 3.5 billion people. Plus, I don't RP with my NS Defense Spending, so scratch that accusation. A nation that has, say, 10 million or 50 million as its population could not field such an army.

OOC: Depending how large the country's role play population is. If it is 850,000,000, then that would only be one percent. I'm pretty sure Osthia's population is lower then that, but it can be possible, I've seen more units dispatched on NS.

Hrmm. Maybe Chadacian is right, I personally think more than 500,000 men in one war theater is a godmod, no matter how big your nation is in MT it will take you a few weeks and maybe month to field every single soldier. Plus think about the extra manpower your going to need for logistics.

The United City-States pledges allegiance to Bristain in this war. It is our duty, fellow Crown member, member of the CoC, to help them when they are in need. As of now, 12:46 PM Katonston Time, The United City-States and the United Socialist Republics of Syvorji are now at WAR. Syvorji has been a menace to the Commonwealth, trying to forcibly take it over. We pledge 400,000 troops to help Bristain, and if needed, another 500,000. That is just Army personnel, Our total troops will be over 500,000. We would request that the Bristain Government give Inkarzi personnel where to land, and also enemy target locations. Many troops in Inkarzikan-Sardonia started to mobilize for the defense of Bristain, with vehicles being loaded into ships, and planes going on to aircraft carriers, soon the first Troop Carrier and Aircraft Carrier left the docks, heading for battle.

While, yes, we admit that we tried to start a war to restore King William V, he then turned against us, and claimed lies that we were violating human rights. And yes, the British Ambassador cheated on her exams again, but that is beside the point. The point is that we have NOT violated human rights." He then shouted, "So, why listen to those lies?" He then quieted down, "Ever since 1967, the late Empress Sadako genuinely worked for the people. Like, in 1970, near Islamabad, there was drought, and many were thirsty. What did they do? She expanded pipelines to wells, of which the pipelines came from Islamabad. In 1986, she began bringing Marxism, and people supported her, via her own Sozialistweg, in German meaning Socialist Way. She made communism, but without corruption. Finally, in 2018, her death was met by mourning. Did the state force it? N-O! And sure, Amji Kei made mistakes, but he brought Marxism. IC: After the United Kingdom had assembled the air squadron, which eventually amounted to nearly 4,000 aircraft, a meeting of the Imperial General Staff was convened. General Rawalson (the commander of the British Grand Air Squadron, to bombard Syvorji), Sir Peter Wall (the Chief of the Imperial General Staff), Lord Chesterfield (the commander of the Royal Navy fleet at Queen's Atoll), and Robert Wellington (the Minister of Defense) attended. The Staff then devised a final, firm strategy against the Syvorjians. The Royal Navy would impose a naval blockade of Syvorji, preventing any commerce or trade circulating to or from Syvorji and thus depressing and weakening the Syvorjian economy. Meanwhile, the Royal Air Force would launch extensive bombing campaigns against Syvorjian cities. Finally, after the Staff formally made their plans, the squadron then set off from Chancellors' Base on the Atoll, heading for Syvorji.

A furor erupted, and immediately, in major Syvorjin cities (Tiraspol, Syvori, Yerevan, Thimphu, etc) east of the Smog Line, 25 anti-aircraft guns were installed, 5 at the border, 5 in the suburbs, and 10 in the city center. The Syvorjins devised a firm defensive strategy, to defend behind the Smog Line, and then force them to rout, and then leaving the country, and even if there is war, it would not be Syvorji's business.

At the Smog Line, each mountain peak became a potential observation outpost, as gun emplacements were put in place. Machine guns were aimed 275 degrees, pointing down the slopes, to be fired in case if the "Coalition" force, consisting of British and allies manage to EVEN cross the mountains. In the mountains, sandbags were used, to create trenches, on the Coalition side to be ridiculously inconvienient, and on the Syvorjin side, to be convienient.

Meanwhile, many elements from the San Monterriani air force were already air-bound and readied for a combat air strike behind Syvorjin enemy lines; this action would be the first of police action by San Monteriano before ground forces and naval units can position themselves in locations of relevance to the mission. The 4th Air Wing, "Mercutio" was speeding towards the "Smog Line" in Syvorji, preparing all their systems for anti-air resistance along the border. Seventy-eight fighters made up the Wing, and flew in almost-flawless air formation. Before conflict erupted, the pilots of the Wing were carrying out pre-contact checks. "All Counter-Electronic systems online, weapons at the ready. Hostiles suspected 2.8 miles from current position, over." Spoke the pilot-navigator over the communications radio. "This is Mercutio-1, all units check booster engines...prepare for initial combat...all units, be advised, anti-aircraft resistance is expected, be alert, over."

"We are bearing in on the Syvorjin border, 2.5 miles remaining, all pre-contact checks should be finished. We're expecting air defences along the border. Remember, this is a hit and run attack on the border defences to allow any allied ground forces access into the country, over" Mercutio-1 spoke over the radio. seeing the Syvorjin border coming out of the horizon.

General Rawalson, who himself piloted the RAFA Hermione, the leading aircraft of the squadron, said through the radio communications to the pilots of the other planes, as they were flying towards Syvorji "Gentlemen, let us hope this mission is successfully, for the glory of His Majesty the King and for the United Kingdom and her dominions!" The other men then agreed. Upon reaching the coast, the squadron then broke down into groups, as planned.

Of the 2,000 fighters and 2,000 bombers in the squadron, they divided as follows: 500 fighters and 500 bombers to attack Tiraspol, 500 fighters and 500 bombers to attack Syvori, 300 fighters and 400 bombers to attack Yerevan, and the remainder to attack Thimphu and the Syvorjian army on the coast. The British aircraft planned to use blast-bombs (bombs which cause massive damage in a area of up to 3 square miles), firebombs (causes moderate damage up to 1 square mile), incendiary bombs (bombs which cause massive fires on impact), explosive bombs (which cause massive explosions up to 2 and a half square miles on impact), and penetration bombs (bombs which can penetrate shelters and underground buildings).

In order to avoid Syvorjian anti-aircraft fire, the air squadron would fly very high in the sky, and then go lower at the maximum distance where bombs could be dropped effectively. Anyways, British aircraft roared in the high skies over Syvorji. At the same time as the aircraft appeared in Syvorjian airspace, the massive British fleet (which all total consisted of 400 destroyers, 390 battleships, 120 cruisers, 420 submarines, 90 patrol boats, 9 hospital ships, 4 aircraft carriers, and 5,000 carrier aircraft), established a naval blockade of the Syvorjian coast. The Royal Navy stopped all commerical and tourist traffic coming to or from Syvorji, hoping to depress Syvorjian trade. British naval vessels were stationed right outside of Syvorjian ports and prevented any vessels from entering or living. Meanwhile, British aircraft, which dominated the skies off the Syvorjian coast, prevented any commerical or other travel by air into or from Syvorji, except those of British and Commonwealth military aircraft.

IC: Meanwhile, in the Catalan ASR, a man, Alexander declared allegiance to Osthia and Bristain, and vowed for a campaign to exterminate the Syvorjins, their culture and history until there were none left remaining on Earth, arguing they were subhmuan, and were not worthy of existing.

Meanwhile, the total damage was 20 cities damaged, 491,090 people killed, and already, the economy plummetted, with the stock exchanges entering a recession. Tourism was an important source and with the British and Osthians being accused of killing the Syvorjins, damaging their modern economy and committing war crimes, anti-British sentiment rapidly rose.

The Inkarzi Air Force Squadron 5, was nearing the Smog Line. This was the first attack by Inkarzikan on Syvorji, and they were determined to let it be a success, while also planning to do this secretly, for the Syvorjin government not to know Inkarzikan participated in an attack. Of course, they now that they are at War, and such, but they wanted the government to think that Inkarzikan has not yet attacked.
This is Eaglebird to Squadron 5, we are nearing Smog Line, prepare for bombing, make it discreet. Prepare to mobilize, AA is expected. Over.
The pilot of Eaglebird, the leader of the squadron, soon found some planes on his radar (OOC: San Monteriano planes), and sent a message to them.

We are 'friendlies', I repeat, do not engage, we are 'friendlies', over." The reply was sent back on the same frequency the Inkarzi pilots had sent to them. Meanwhile, the Wing neared the so-called Smog Line, preparing for heavy anti-aircraft resistance by the Syvorjin army. "Be advised, unmanned aerial vehicles have spotted several anti-aircraft positions along the Syvorjin border, over." Said a female voice from the High Command.

Of course, the Syvorjins began to shoot the planes down, after noticing the radar that enemy planes are crossing the Smog Line, a defence line, intended for a land based invasion. Meanwhile, Alexander attempted to send a message to the allies by radio, on Allied frequencies, demanding that they nuke the entire nation of Syvorji, to cleanse the land of ethnic Syvorjins, arguing they were subhumans. He even encouraged them to execute them in their nations if there were any.

Meanwhile, in Ganuli's study, he took out War and Peace, and began to read it, wondering whether the United Socialist Republics of Syvorji would even recover from the war. Soon, he issued martial law, and immediately decreed that every citizen of the United Socialist Republics of Syvorji are required to wear a porcealin badge, and if they don't, they can be legally killed, but at the same time, banned the badges to be worn by anyone who was either British, Osthian, and their allies unless if their great-grandparents had passed on, meaning the people of Syvorji have a right to execute them, and not be charged with murder.

However, in the British-Junta War, all British living in the country had left Syvorji, having returned to Bristain, so no person with British descent lived in Syvorji. Anyways, the Royal Intelligence Agency gathered evidence about these cruel policies, and persuaded the British Government to intensify the bombing campaign against Syvorji. As such, for every single day and night, for nine hours at a time, British aircraft (bombers and fighters) roared over Syvorjian cities, pounding them with blastbombs, firebombs, incendiary bombs, explosive bombs, and penetrative bombs, not stopping for even one day. Bristain also intensified her naval blockade of Syvorji. The Imperial General Staff and the Privy Council began making more plans for the continuing war against Syvorji.

Squadron 5, get your bombs at the ready, ETA to Smog Line 2 minutes. Expecting heavy AA, so fly your planes higher. Of course, then our bombs have less accuracy, but less planes are shot down. Kay? Bristain however was not using any paratroopers against the Syvorjians, only aircraft in their bombing campaigns. The Royal Air Force further intensified their bombing campaigns, using all manner of bombs. The British strategy of weakening Syvorjian morale, crashing the Syvorjian economy, and causing social disruption within Syvorji was working, as intelligence reports and eye-witness reports from pilots of the aircraft were testifying. As such, the RAF decided to continue their bombing campaign, and focused greatly on Syvorjian shipyards, military factories, and military bases. The Smog Line was also heavily bombarded. Meanwhile, the Imperial General Staff decided to adopt a new strategy: alongside the naval blockade and bombing campaigns, the Royal Navy and Royal Marines would launch a series of "descents" or joint amphibious operations on the Syvorjian coast, especially near Syvorjian ports, factories, and military outposts. In these descents, up to 70,000 marines would land on the coast, and, supported by the firepower of Royal Navy vessels off the coast, would burn down Syvorjian ports, cause devastation in the countryside, and capture hundreds, perhaps thousands, of unarmed civilians. Then the marines would disembark from the coast with their loot and hostages to the ships, which would then further bombard the coast and then disembark. Three of these operations would occur every day. It was meant to further weaken Syvorjian morale and demonstrate Bristain's superior naval power. The Royal Marines and Royal Navy then prepared, and began assembling the force for the operations.
