[Gernonai]

The nation of Gernonai has been involved in many conflicts, this one, however, is on home soil. A new faction has risen in Gernonai, they call themselves the Reformists. They wish to remove the Gernonaise Senate from power, and install an Autocratic leader to run the country. The old Gernonaise Senate wishes to remain in power, and to destroy the Reformists before they gain more support.

Specifics about both sides-

The Reformists-
Mainly civilians unhappy with the "oppression" of the democratically elected Senate. Consists of 5 million civilians fighting against the Senate forces, and also 100,000 soldiers that defected from the Army. Most of the Police force has joined the Reformists, a total of 2 million men. They have limited air and naval power, but do have control of one Nuclear Facility in the North, along with a Gernonaise Island off to the West. They are based in the Northern parts of Gernonai, and have proclaimed it "The Kingdom of Gernonai." They do not want international aid, simply because they are mainly isolationist.

The Senate-
The democratically elected Senate wishes to remain in power because the current system is working and prospering. Consists of 900,000 professional soldiers from the Gernonaise Armed forces, and about 2 million civilian supporters. some policemen didn't follow their superiors, and went to the Senate, a total of 1 million men. They have most of the air and naval power of Gernonai, as well as most of the nuclear capability. They are based in the Capital of Gernonai (Skovi) and in the southern parts of Gernonai. 100,000 soldiers are still returning from foreign wars, and should be back in Senatorial control within 4 days. They are asking for international support against the Reformists because they are outnumbered and losing ground fast.

After your aid to us in our civil war and our recently struck pacts we feel obliged to help you maintain your power. In order to assist you we are sending 300 Inquisitorial Vanguards to perform sabotage, assasination etc. We also wish to assist you with sending 80,000 Soldiers to maintain order.

Having heard news of the civil war in Gernonai, Chancellor Hajek called an emergency meeting with the senate. The senate room was large and modeled off of the Galactic Senate. 30 senators stood waiting for their beloved Chancellor to come in. The Chancellor stood on a platform below the senate hall, she was wearing a light blue dress, similar to the one she wore in the Zammoran conference.
"Your excellency, are you ready?" asked Premier Pavel Dimidov
"Yes, I'm ready, lets go" She responded. The two were joined by two Red Guards, elite soldiers who wore bright red full-body Kevlar armor with a yellow hammer and sickle painted on the front, and Senior Warrant Officer Andrei Makarov. The party walked onto the platform and began its ascent to the main room after about 30 seconds the platform was in place. The senators shouted "Raduĭsya Haĭek (Hail Hajek)" and saluted in the Nazi fashion.

"Ladies and Gentlemen of the Senate" She started like usual "A long time ally of the Socialist States, Gernonai, has slipped into the abyss of a civil war" She continued "I propose that we move to support the Senate" She stated
"We cannot get involved in another intervention" said a Senator from the Slovak Socialist State "If we get involved then we are going to have less troops fighting on the front" He continued
"Gernonai has been a long time ally of the Socialist States. It is our obligation to support as they would do the same in our situation" a Senator from the Hungarian Socialist State said "Even if we do not support militarily, we need to at least send them supplies"
The Senator erupted into an applause
"Order! Keep the order!" Makarov yelled
"Let the voting start now" the Chancellor said
After roughly 8 minutes, the Senator voted 29-1 in favor of supporting the Gernonaise Senate

The Vanguards had sat for quite some time now in their Stealth-Parattrooper aircraft. The aircraft was clsoe to Gernonai. Many soldiers had written somethign on their rifle. "Peace and Unity" or "Time to return the favor" And all sorts of references to the Zammoran Revolution. Inquisitorial Vanguards were always the best of the best. Able to make headshots on the run with one arm and their eyes closed. Or so those who saw them fight said. Equipped with the ZA-2 Kevlar Flak jacket paitned in black. They always wore a red eagle on their shoulder. Wore gas masks and carried silenced Rifles. Always prepared for the worst these men were ready to kill for Zammora. It wouldn't take long for them to reach Gernonai. Those Reformists won't know whats coming to them!

[Gernonai]

General Kran was organizing the 7th Armored Corps into positions around a Senatorial Command post when a Colonel came running through the ranks.
"Sir! The Reformists have begun an attack aimed at the capital! They are attacking with half a million troops!" Colonel Markus said
"Ok, come into my tent, and show me where the attack is concentrated."
They rushed into the tent "Right here sir, and here." as he was pointing to the map.
"Call for air support and zero in the artillery. Get the men into defensive positions in sectors one and two. We cannot let them take the capital!" said General Kran
"Yes Sir!" and he ran out of the command tent.
"Captain!" the General said as he walked out of the tent.
"Yes sir?"
"I need your men to reinforce the 2nd Army near the city of Hamn."
"But sir..."
"I don't want to hear it, in case you didn't notice, there's a war on!"
"Yes sir."
The Reformists are launching an offensive with 500,000 men aimed at seizing the capital. They need to take Hamn first, so it is of vital importance that we defend it too the furthest extent of our ability. The Senate will be moved South to protect them from the fighting. They will be moved to Fort Alan, just south of the capital. The Gernonaise forces have about 150,000 troops in the immediate vicinity, with another 10,000 very close (1st Armored Corps). We have sent an additional 200,000 reinforcements up from the south.

[Zammora]

The Vanguards still waited inside their aircraft. Suddenly a green light blinked. the Pilot could be heard over the intercom "Stand ready!" The Vanguars stood up and waited for the signal. The loading door opened. And a small timer on a screen counted down. When it reached zero the Vanguards dropped. They felt the preasure of the wind. After a time they unpacked their parachutes. As they landed they saw they landed on target. Next to the command tent of the Gernonaise camp. Their leader. Colonel Far'se Kah'r Saluted the Commander. "Hello, sir. We're here to return the favor"

[Gernonai]

"Welcome to Gernonai Colonel, we are very grateful of your assistance here."
As he said this an artillery shell landed just outside the camp.
"If you want to get in the fight, feel free. We need reinforcements up north, near Hamn. There's a very large Reformist offensive in progress, and we need to hold our own until reinforcements come from down south."

[Zammora]

"Welcome to Gernonai Colonel, we are very grateful of your assistance here."
As he said this an artillery shell landed just outside the camp.

"on it" The Vanguards went off. Off to show what Zammorans were made off. They would be at Hamn soon. The Reformists will notice a crater were their men once stood. And all they would know was that the Vanguards payed a visit.

Port City-East Coast of Gernonai

Things started to go wrong for the 10,000 man garrison of the city when they realized the growing mass of people gathering 2 miles away from the city. They soon found out that this was a Reformist attack. The Captain of the garrison sent out an urgent message to the capital, where the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces was stationed.

The siege of Livron had begun.

The Vanguards took their position in the shadows of trees, ruins and craters. Waiting silently. After a while a group of Reformists walked past them before they were killed in a series of proffesional headshots. The Colonel immediatly got a call on his radio, "We have confirmed that the Main force has landed, you are to divert to Livron to provide intel for Gernonaise and Zammoran Soldiers." The Colonel gave sign to his team and spoke into the comm. "Roger, divert to Livron to provide intel, we copy"

Vanguards had excelent condition, able to run miles with their armour on. They were the brainchild of the High-Councilor. They had been tested on many occasions. Though many lacked the experience as most were recruited post-Revolution, they did had a undying loyalty to Zammora and the best training availible. They would soon arrive at Livron

[Premislyd]

Off the Coast of Northern Gernonai

The fleet moved into position as it prepared to bombard 3 beaches that were deemed land-able by the Soviet Chief of Staff. It was a gloomy day, and it appeared as if a storm was rolling in. The aircraft carrier launched 14 MiG-35's to assist in softening the landing zone. On the battleship "Rodina", flagship of the Premislydan fleet, Admiral Oleg Pushkov was on the bridge looking for the best way to bombard the coastal towns while minimizing civilian casualties, a loudspeaker could be heard calling people to their stations.
"Cruiser Group 56, commence firing on target Sector Charlie 9-9" Pushkov spoke on the radio. A few minutes later artillery fire could be heard and several explosions could be seen on the coast. The destroyers were doing Anti-Air and Anti-Submarine Patrols around the main fleet. The battleship moved into position as the MiG's dropped their napalm over the coastal defenses. After a few more minutes, the battleship released her salvo of 255mm shells all off hitting their target on the beach.
The landing won't take place until tomorrow, when the weather was expected to clear up, until then the fleet was barraging the shoreline.
"3....2....1.... Firing" a loudspeaker said. A salvo of rockets could be seen arching back down on the shoreline
"Theres going to be hardly any resistance" Pushkov thought to himself

He could take the purged land held by the Reformists the second the war was won.

The Pyhrric curled his lips and started to speak.

"Hello, Gernonaians. If we did not enjoy the Art of War, we would have not felt obliged to aid such low-life creatures such as Humans. But we do. We love the Art of War. We hate reformists that seek to liberate the liberated. Thusfor, The Pyhrric will mobilize as many of our warriors as we can to aid you in your striking down of the 'Reformist' Pigs. Requesting orders."

30,000 Stormtroopers were on their way assisted by a Hellhammer Armoured brigade. They were eager to show the Reformists not to mess with a friend of Zammora.

The storm they had been expecting rolled to the south of the fleet's position and it began to clear up. Deep in the bowels of the Battleship "Rodina" Admiral Oleg Pushkov was looking at a holographic map of the nation. He had toyed with the map, thinking of different landing techniques. The Reformists' artillery had began firing at the fleet, although most landed short a few landed lucky hits which resulted in a destroyer sinking.

"3....2....1.... Firing" a loudspeaker on a Cruiser said followed by a rocket salvo that landed on the beach.
"Vice Admiral Kirilenko, prepare the troops for landing" Pushkov said on the radio
"Da eer" Kirilenko replied
On the 6 transport ships that were in the fleet, the troops began loading into their BMP-3 Amphibious Infantry Fighting Vehicles. In about 30 minutes 6 BMP-3's began lurching through the water towards their targets.

"Vanguards! Be advised that we are under immense pressure from the Reformist forces, and have lost about half of our forces! We may have to start evacuating via boat if help doesnt arrive within the half-hour!"
