[ Red July ]
On July 3rd 1973, the Communist revolutionary force Kizilordu, the principal successor to the Communist faction of the 1921 Revolution, launched a naval invasion of the Republic of Nzyghistan. Despite quick takeovers of the three states of Izmiresmi, Ilcehir and Yuvasi, the Defence Forces of Nzyghistan destroyed the invasion force within a month of the initial Battle of Izmir and disbanded the Kizilordu. Reconstruction of affected areas commenced immediately, and a multilateral humanitarian and peacekeeping effort assured the success of these efforts.
