I'm never sure what PMT means so i'm abit worried by what weapons people can use. Erm what weapons can we use?

Hi there,
I was thinking about making up a map of the conflict, what do you guys think? If you reckon it's a useful idea, let me know. Also, if there are any specific details regarding geography of the island, location of towns and such, just TG me with any thoughts.

I merely included the P/MT tag from habit - essentially it's MT + 3, so anything that can be done now IRL and in the very near future. Also, I had made a (very unlabled) map of Hellena before I made my OP, but I never bothered to upload it. Will do so now.

I like it. Works in with my RP as well, ie, the island widens out behind the front line, making retreating more difficult.

And btw, the quote on your second post annoyed me for ages. I knew it, but couldn't remember from where. Finally remembered this afternoon, General Sosabowksi at the end of A Bridge Too Far. Epic film!

XXIII Mechanised Division (Vinski) - 16,000

XXIV Armoured Division (Rodgers) - 16,000

XI Marine Division (Johnson) - 12,000

XXXV Airborne Division (Davis) - 12,000

Aye, it's probably my favourite war film haha. Now, the above is more or less what is happening in my next post; a combined attack from land, sea and air, in an effort to push through the defensive lines. As before, the bombardment will be massive, and ground forces will be supported by attack helicopters, CAS aircraft and any spare fighters. Most of my fighters will concentrate on wiping out anything that remains of your airforce, and will then move on to target the helicopters that PfM appears to have deployed.

The main part of my small naval force will depart to intercept the PfM task force; therefore, the 80+ aircraft on the carier will be going with them, along with most of the missile crusiers. However, they will still be in range of Hellena for the duration of Operation Blowtorch, so can still provide limited cover.

Oh right. THanks for the explanation on the PMT situation M.

If you read my characters names Strathy I think we can both be accused of making up names on the spot. Also the PFM paratroopers are actually Spetsnaz through and through its just their not a part of the group I deploy as part of the alliance Spetsnaz their my nations own detachment of them but to avoid confusion their called the parachute regiment. Just to explain how both Captain Ford and Colonel Mas are able to refer to Spetsnaz days and have the tabs.

But as most of you know ARIES is committed to stopping Brimstone, so itd make sense that I got involved (That and both of the ARIES threads seem to have stalled.)

Erm can some clarify something for me? I was wondering if my navies going to blocked and have to fight its way to the Strathy harbour of their side of Hellena before i can deploy my whole 200,000 first wave of troops?

Well from earlier conversations with M, as well as seeing the info on the OP, I assumed the island was blockaded, so I was going to bring in a fleet.

I hadn't really thought of a story for the missing arm. The lung wound was from a small war I had ages ago and he lost his eye on Hellena during the first couple of days. I think Hopkinton would seem a resonable time for him to have lost his arm and been discharged from Spetsnaz.

Ah okay then. I was just wondering cause if he was in Hopkinton he might know Kane although Kane was just a major during that conflict and has gained promotion through several small scale Spetsnaz black operations in the recent time since then.
