Zara smiled as the Vice-President paid them a compliment. She responded with a short "Awww..." and blushed again. As he told them about New Hayesalia, she felt somewhat reminded of Veceria. Raza continued drinking, starting to sing drinking songs together with one of the barkeepers. Zara on the other hand, laughed and smiled, charmed as Bongo said his talking about beauty may extend to the two girls. "I know what you're talking about, Bongo. Veceria itself is a beautiful country, too. Lush forests and jungles, meadows of heaven and the glistening snow in the north, ahh... your description of New Hayesalia brought up my memory of those places..." She looked over her shoulder to see what Raza was doing, but immediately turned his head towards Bongo again as she saw that she was smooching with the same barkeeper she was formerly singing along with. "So... are you currently taken? Is there a Miss Bongo waiting for you in your homeland?" She smiled whimsically, showing her pronounced cuspids. The two females were the first non- Vecerians treated with the so- called 'Gotenir' - serum, changing their human DNA into Vecerian DNA over a period of several months. Due to them, the testing of the serum was finally finished, getting available for other loyal human citizen in Veceria for a price of several thousand wolfpounds.

OOC: Lol, random barkeeper make-out sesh in space.
IC:

"Haha, no, not for me. Animalistoni's don't care for much for marriage, apart from those penguins. No, keep the genepool going to make the system work is how we operate. I belive humans refer to it as a "hump and dump" relationship. Not that I've ever been so fortunate."

He took a sip from the straw. He heard a familiar song come over the system that was somehow playing. He recognised it as a Padre Linger song, the writers of the national anthem, All of the Dreamers. It was their song Burn Your Name. Of course, it wasn't one to enjoy alone.

"Tell me Zara, would you like to dance with a talking chimp in outer space?"

Zara curtsied. "Of course I want to dance with you, Mr. Vice-President." She took his hand as they started dancing. Dancing in the total absence of gravity was a great feeling, as was dancing with a chimp. Raza, on the other side, was enjoying the local menfolk, especially the young barkeeper, which she 'kidnapped' and dragged to the same closet she and Zara used before, even using it the same way as before. And so, another man experienced the 'Hippie' lifestyle of the Vecerians.

The song was both relaxed and energetic; as was dancing in zero-gravity. It erased all thoughts of Free Missouri, Socialist Provinces, the Ingini Affair, everything. He was focused entirely on what was going on. And Hayes floating by, upside down, waving and winking. But that was out of the point. He flipped alongside Zara, with part of Paddy O'Fernature in sight out of the window. It was strange to imagine; but if an alien were to crash land, how would they know which is up and which is down?

"Tell me, Zara... what do you think of this place? Worth the money, the men?"

Zara put up a thoughtful face. "Hmm. To be honest, I wouldn't advise my mas... my King to build such a station. Okay, it may be quite impressive, but... a simple satellite should be enough to spy on your neighbors." She winked at Bongo. "Maybe if we had too much money, we would construct such a monument. But in the meantime, we'll spend it on the welfare of our people and the military, just to make sure it's well-invested." She looked around, but couldn't find Raza, so she continued. "Oh, and I think my female comrade could tell you if it's worth the men, seeing that she's not in the hall anymore." She smiled again, rolling her eyes due to knowing the reason behind the white girl's absence.

"Indeed. I assume you know of the SLAMS system? Quite a creation Hayes' pulled off. Comprehensive reconnaisance and strike packages with an excellent civilian usage. Masterpiece of New Hayesalian engineering. I wouldn't worry about your friend," he said twirling Zara around his hand, "she can probably handle... whatever the bloody hells she's doing."

Bongo then smiled, another cheeky monkey smile.

Mary clung onto Mark's arm, smiling politely.

Cael laughed, correcting Mark politely, "I am not the Supreme Commander, yet. Perhaps when my father announces the succession in the many years to come. Still, I wouldn't presume to claim all the credit for the facility, after all each of the contributing nations took part in this project. I expect this wouldn't be the last time both our nations would work together?"

Grinning, he ran his hand through his silvery-white hair and continued, "What is Yellowapple like? I profess to knowing very little about your nation, not many Drackonisians have visited and knowledge of your country is painfully little. I understand most of your nation lives in the clouds?"

"All of it, actually," Mark clarified. "The entirety of YellowApple is constructed from dirigibles, similar to the two we donated to this project. It was initially a social experiment by Northside Down Technologies, Inc., but eventually developed into Manzanopolis Prime, a fully functional city. Life there is... interesting, to say the least.

"We also must admit a lack of knowledge of Drackonisa. We do understand that there is significant volcanic activity. Has it been a safety issue?"

Cael smiled at the ambassador, nothing pleases him more than discussing about home. "Oh, not at all. The volcanic activity is mostly restricted to the northern part of the island, the number of volcanoes there makes it naturally resource rich. No one except those living in the mining towns sprouted up around the area is in any danger. In fact, more miners die per year to the beasts that roam that place than to actual volcanic activity. " With a derisive snort, he continued, "Most of those that work in the mines are expendable 'permanent contracted workers', with an occasional highly paid Drackonisian supervisor to ensure productivity. Not only that, the volcanic zones also provide the beasts we regularly feature in our gladiator arenas, though not many foreigners can stomach the fights from my experience. You can say the volcanoes are a blessing from gaia to us."

Rubbing his chin in thought, he commented offhandedly, "You know, it might be intriguing to visit Yellowapple someday."

Mark nodded with interest. "If you do visit, I recommend the resorts in Astleyville. They are often overlooked by visitors, as most assume Manzanopolis Prime to have better amenities with its larger size. A logical conclusion, but very much incorrect."

Mary spoke for the first time since they arrived.

"We've never seen a volcano before, though. Perhaps Drackonisa could be the destination of our next hiking trip?"

"Excellent idea, Mary," Mark replied. "How active are the volcanoes? And are foreigners permitted to examine them?"

The black girl nodded as Bongo mentioned the SLAMS system. Of course she had heard of that system, being educated about everything regarding international military technology and warfare. As the chimp talked about Raza, she laughed, knowing that he was totally right about her. She wiped away a few tears of joy, and continued dancing with her new friend. "I just hope that any walls around her are soundproof." She smiled back at Bongo as her hair streamed around her face due to the momentum of their dance. "I hope the general impression of myself also gives you a good impression of Veceria, Bongo. After all, this is a diplomatic party." She winked again, showing the chimp that her interest in him was more than just politically- motivated.

Cael shrugged "Most of the volcanoes are already inactive, with only a couple known active ones. Still, its hard to say, even supposedly inactive volcanoes may have a chance to erupt. Its still relatively safe, if you are worrying about volcanic activity. But if you wish to examine and research them up close i wouldn't recommend it. Given the large monstrosities that live there, most of our researchers go in with a full mechanized division, the nastier critters learnt to avoid an armor column. We do have disclaimers for tourists, any of those who wish to roam the wilds do so at their own risk. If your looking for a tour, most keep to the cities. Besides, much of Drackonisa is covered in megapolises that stretch across the country itself."

Quirking an eyebrow up, he added "If blood sports are to your liking, you might enjoy attending the gladiator games, it is quite the spectacle."

Mary shied away from the thought of such brutal killing, while Mark focused on the volcanoes.

"We normally travel armed. I have my own personal Morita III rifle, while Mary enjoys her slightly lighter carbine-variant Morita MK 1. Fine rifles. They lack standard "iron-sights", however, making marksmanship difficult. The gladiator matches seem interesting as well. Perhaps more so than our aerial jousting competitions."

Mary cringed a bit more before commenting.

nadia had actually arrived at Heaven's Gate 3 days before the party began, deciding on taking a tour of the massive artificially constructed islands before attending the celebrations.

Having her fill of fun scuba diving and picking oysters, she finally decided she had put off going up the orbital elevator long enough. She was here to improve relations with Drackonisa after all. Contacting her escorts, they had managed to get a Drackonisian limousine to take her to the elevator in moments. With that out of the way, the ride to the elevator itself was uneventful and she spent the travel time studying the dossiers once more.

From the distance, she marvelled at the size of the massive tower, it far surpassed anything she had ever seen. It seemed to reach all the way through the sky! Quickly, she corrected herself. It did reach into the sky, no, it surpassed even that. It reached all the way into space. It was mind-bogglingly large. No doubt it had cost an astronomical amount of money and resources to construct. She privately wondered if the member nations were ever going to recoup the resources spent constructing this structure.

Upon reaching the elevator, she thought she spotted some representatives from YaoiFangirlLand busy dealing with some fat bureaucrat. Shrugging, it was none of her concern at any rate. Putting that out of her mind, she got directions from one of the colorfully dressed British Prussian Coldstream guards and submitted herself to the usual checks before boarding the train. The Drackonisian guards seemed the relatively unapproachable sort, with their black armor and full-faced helmets. She didn't like not being able to see the faces of people she was interacting with. The British Prussian guards had seemed more friendly at any rate.

As she went in unarmed, she didn't have to wait long before boarding the train. As she strapped in, a feminine voice, probably that of the Drackonisian AI GLADYS which she had read up upon instructing her on basic zero-g maneuvers as the train accelerated up ramp and ascended vertically up the elevator. The acceleration was more powerful than she expected, forcing her back into the seat from the g-forces. What seemed like the longest minutes in her life passed and the feeling of weightlessness took over after some time. As she peeked out of the window, she could see the stars, with the cloud cover well below. Unstrapping herself from the harness, she started to enjoy the feeling of weightlessness. A girlish grin covered her elegant features, it was such a unique experience. No doubt she was the first ambassador to be in space! She learnt quickly enough that it wasn't like swimming, for one, you kept going unless you had something to grab on. And that moving your hands and legs does nothing. She quickly mastered propelling herself by kicking off any avaliable surface to her desired destination. On a whim, she cracked open a sealed bottle of water and allowed the globules to float freely. Grinning, she propelled herself towards them and hastily gulped down the floating blobs of water. She could learn to like this.

As she checked back the clock on board the train, she sighed. Another twenty minutes to go before they reach Pinnacle. Oh well, she could have some more fun in the meantime. As she eagerly anticipated her arrival, she wondered if there were any lookers in the party. From the dossier she had already identified Cael Nocturne Dracos, apparently the son of the Drackonisian Supreme Commander as one, as well as the two delicious girls from Veceria. She might have some fun with them later. After all, its not often that she gets the chance to try a romp in space. Reading on the orbital elevator's brochures provided, she knew there was a whole deck of luxurious hotel rooms. No doubt they would be allowed to utilize them at the end of the day. Smiling, she wondered what surprises and company awaited her there.

In short order, she arrived in the massive grand hall, floating through the massive hatch and seeing the mass of delegates already there. She sighed, she was horribly late though judging by the YFL representatives on ground level, she wasn't the last one yet. Smoothing her red dress futilely, she cursed herself for wearing it. Zero-g was making it float freely, at the very least she should have chosen a more form fitting and tighter one. With her hair streaming behind her in the weightless environment, she grabbed a sealed vodka bottle from a nearby waiter and wondered if she should approach anyone here for a conversation. Sipping her vodka rather annoyed, she felt rather uneasy drinking it from a straw as she searched for someone to chat with.

Cael nodded at Mark, "Oh, if your interested in watching the games we have an arena here in the Drackonisian District. However, we have yet to ship the beasts over and finish selection of convicts to fight, it will probably be another month or so before the games can officially start."

With a boyish grin, he added, "Small-arms wouldn't do much against the hide of a full grown Akantor, theres a reason we bring armored divisions there to capture the critters. Still, if you stick to the more human frequented areas you shouldn't encounter any of the larger beasts. After years of poaching and capture they have more or less learnt to avoid certain areas. Though accidents do happen now and then. If you wish however, I could probably arrange a special game to take place. We could have the beasties captured straight from Drackonisa and the necessary convicts transported in time for a match by next week."

Mark laughed at the notion of a Morita rifle being considered "small arms".

"There's not much that the built-in grenade launcher can't penetrate. The large explosive canister at supersonic speeds is known to punch through concrete walls. It would certainly be an interesting and exciting experiment if we did indeed encounter something with such thick hide."

Mark then returned to the topic of blood fighting.

"And that would be excellent. However, we do prefer the social aspect of sporting matches as well, and therefore would be more inclined to attend a public match. Wouldn't we, honey?"

Mary nodded unenthusiastically. At least she could read her magazines or play Angry Birds VII to distract herself from the sounds of men and beasts slaughtering each other. Good thing she brought noise-cancelling headphones.

Being "fashionably late" was not a part of Seth Dawnstrider's, the president and prime minister of Kubrath, character. but this was indeed a special occasion, one, which he did not wish to attend with much enthusiasm. With his minister of education, youth and sciences out of commission, due to a serious injury during the regular parachute jumping, he was forced to substitute him.
- The sacrifices I make for my country...darn him and his eccentric hobbies. I could've been doing far more useful things now, like scrapping yet another plan to assassinate my mother-in-law, because it would obviously fail. That devil incarnate, I loathe her existence... - said Kubrath's head of government, narrowing his eyes threateningly.
He wasn't alone, however. Like always, the minister of defence, Bogdan Cheshmyanov, was right beside him. They were like butt and pants - inseparable. They knew each other since childhood and have gone through hell and back together for their ideals and hopes. Both knew each other so well, they could even communicate with eye movement.
- Don't forget the plan - started Seth - we come, we laugh at their stupid jokes and the we leave after a couple of hours due to an "urgent meeting". Understood?
- Yes, sir!
- Good, now let the horror of diplomatic parties begin...

Still, always good to kick back and go overseas, even though you go to another province in New Hayesalia and you're likely to find a whole new country. It's pretty good though, since Unification. The military is always asking for more stuff though." he said, glancing towards his wife- an Air Force MP sergeant. He chuckled. "So, do you think this place was worth the money?"[/quote]
Alben looked around. "Depends if I can get a cut. At least I still have plenty of places to go to relax.....oh crapski!"
I'm BACK after a long absence! New sig to come.

"What's up?" Hayes asked, stunned at the Marcherians change of pace.

Louis McOlpsom finished the conversation he was having with the Kitty Chata and moved around the space station with his bodyguard.

"What do you think of this?" asked Alex to McOlpsom.
"Well, for a start, it is very big. What do you think of it?" answered McOlpson.
"I like it, the problem is that they haven't thought about what would happen if something failed..." answered Alex.
"Which would be?" continued the diplomat, intrigued.
"Well, if this was to break then the problems wouldn't just end up here. It would crush the tower into parts, this would probably fall and looking at the size of this an earthquake could easily be seen." answered Alex.

Louis just nodded as he continued to walk about, waiting for Jimmy Chang to be free for conversation or to start an entirely new one.

Alben slapped his face into his palm. "I nearly forgot. I need to cacel somthing for Sunday as it is [nation]The Grand Duchy of Karditan's[/nation] 'Day of Hate'. We're old rivals, and the final Sunday of every month they bring in several thousand citizens and tourists armed with cartons of eggs to reenact the Duchy's last assault in our final war a century ago. I need to officiate...You wanna join in?"

"I don't see why not. Seems a bit questionably titled though, to me."
