John was panicing, he was coming up against a wall. A VR Omni skied up next to John and threw his hammer, destroying the wall. John hit the bottom of the mountain, and a ski jump sent him flying off into The Void.

By now Morgana had finished her race, and she came over to watch John.

[Warhaven]

John was flying through the Void, the darkness visibly oppressing him, slowing him, and gently, John came to rest on the finish line and cheered in victory.

"What do you want to try next?" John asked, enthusiastically.

They weren't the only ones playing games that Saturday, but Erdin wouldn't really be enjoying this one.

"Erdin, it is time to test your order abilities, no Chaos. I have, over the last several days, taught you to play Kalto. Now you will solve a Kalto puzzle on your own. You will sit at this desk, in clear view of your father and I, and solve this puzzle. This puzzle would take a Kalto Master an hour to solve. Just remember, this isn't about Spacial Harmony, this is about finding the seeds of Order in total Chaos." Lily said, setting what looked like a jumbled pile of small metal sticks, about three inches long apiece, infront of Erdin.

"How long would it take Dad?" Erdin asked, unhappily.

"Having had only a few seconds to see it from where he's at, your father has already mentally solved it correctly in his head. Kalto, though a fine logic game for many, holds no challenges for him." Lily replied.

[The Floor Kippers]

"Being that Logic and order are basically my thing," Ordinatio grinned from his armchair.

"How about that one?" Morgana asked pointing at a twin Space figher VR game.

[Warhaven]

John nodded, and got onto one set of controls.

Erdin set about working his puzzle over, stopping to think, and carefully consider the layout before him many times.

Morgana stepped into the other set and the game started.
To begin with it gave them the choice to work together or fight against each other.

Ordinatio watched Erdin out of the corner of his eye as he read his book.

John chose Co-op mode.

A full minute before an hour passed, Erdin solved the puzzle. It generated a sphere of pure order energy as a result.

"Master Rank. Congratulations, this proves that in order for your father to teach you something new, or exceed your ability in Order, he must reach into the higher, more complex levels of Order, for all basic and intermediate skill, is yours. Now you are ready for the things that most pursue over a lifetime." Lily said, congratulating Erdin.

"A present for you then father." Erdin said, handing his father the order energy.

The game began and they were two lone fighters scouting an asteroid field for enemy ships.

"Thank you, Erdin," Ordinatio said, taking the ball of order and examining it, "Like all order it is a finely balanced system, but it is strong and powerful, in spite of its delicateness"

At that very moment, Somnio left Divinity, and entered Harmony, at Animus's request. A certain someone named Tew was going to have a very special dream that night.

John meanwhile played gams with Morgana to keep her nerves calm. Thankfully the wedding wasn't too far off.

The night rolled in and Tew slept in her lavish chambers, ready to dream pleasant dreams and spread te love the following day.

[Warhaven]

At first, Tew would dream of total darkness, then a light blossomed from above, and Animus's masks descended around her in a tower, each mask several times larger than her. They would stop, and a door would open in one, through it Tew would fly, everything going white briefly.

It faded to an incredible wedding, Tew knew where, it was right where she always wanted to get married! Tew was in a wedding gown, one that had been made by the combined talent of Tew and Sara both. Lily stopped Tew.

"Where's your engagement ring Tew? You know you need that to walk down the aisle. Didn't you find it yet?" Lily asked.

"It is not yet time, Tew." Animus said, and Tew was lost in his eyes.

When she returned to her senses, Animus was hiding in the bushes, the sound of someone singing filling the air. It was Tew singing, a memory, of a love song Tew had sang.

"I was there, when you first sang this, and wondered what magic had stirred the melody. Though we spent the night apart, it was still the first night I experienced the magic of romance for myself, the night I knew I loved you.

Animus jumped down and kissed Tew, and when they parted, they were strolling along one of Brother Nature's most awe inspiring vistas.

"Remember the night we walked this path? I wanted to ask you a question, but I could not, for the spell was not ready. But it was this night, I began to craft a ring, for it was this night your kiss first met me, burning my mind with a power more potent than any poison." Animus said.

They stopped, and Tew found herself looking into a lake, but her reflection was unusual. It was more magnificent then she'd ever actually appeared.

"Even when you were at your worst, this was still how I saw you." Animus said.

Their images swirled as a pair of young children, a young animus, and a young tew played Tag. Animus was running from Tew, as she was it. But this time, Tew wore a sash plainly titled "Happiness"

"But such foolishness is behind me, for why should a man run from such a life as happiness?" Animus asked.

And together they walked into the shadows of Death.

"Would there really be any better way, if we had to walk such a path?" Animus asked.

A rocky, dangerous exciting path lay before them.

"There is but one Law to this road, that we walk it together, one element of Chaos, that journeying its length and breadth should change us." Animus said, and together they walked down it, reaching a massive clock that simply read one phrase.

"It's Time."

Color blossomed around Tew, and they were in her garden, the flowers Animus had given her years ago glowing and radiating color, something they'd never done before. One flower remained unopened, and in Tew's dream, she touched it. It opened to reveal a magnificent engagement ring.

"Tew, will you marry me?" Animus asked.

And suddenly, it was no dream anymore. Tew really was in her garden, in a lovely white dress, her flowers really were radiating color, and Animus was holding the last flower, finally opened, with the ring in its center as the sun rose.

Tew looked overwhelmed as she took in what she had been shown and what she was now seeing.

Animus would feel it in the air, a spike in the normal background levels of love that any ordinary person felt around Tew. But it went beyond that, beyond even the levels Animus normally felt around her. If Animus had ever had any doubt if she loved him, they would be cast away permanently.

"Animus," Tew said quietly, "My love. With all my heart, all my love. I will marry you."

[Warhaven]

And with that, Animus kissed Tew, as he slipped the ring on her finger, and Somnio quietly headed home.

"Just in time for that important meeting the Arch-Magi wanted to see us about today." Animus said afterwards.

[The Floor Kippers]

"We can surprise them with this," Tew said, wiggling her ring finger, beaming widely.

[Warhaven]

"I-I don't really think anyone's going to be all that surprised, we couldn't of been more obvious if wewaved giant banners around announcing things." Animus joked.

[The Floor Kippers]

"You mean you weren't?" Tew joked back.

[Warhaven]

"No, I was too busy plotting and scheming this moment." Animus said sadly.

[The Floor Kippers]

"Oh," Tew said, "Well, I can forgive you then."

[Warhaven]

"Well, we should go get some breakfast before the meeting. Also, Erdin's going to be taking a Chaos test either just before, or just after the meeting, it should be entertaining to watch." Animus grinned.

"I'll make us breakfast," Tew said, "After all that work, you deserve a rest."

[Warhaven]

A short while later, after breakfast....

All had gathered at Animus's tower, Erdin working on a complicated crystal structure.

"We have a situation. For the first time, someone is seriously trying to take over, a man named Clash." Col. Merlin said.

"His thoughts are set on the matter. I have discreetly studied his mind, there is no means by which to dissuade him, no power by which to change his course." Chaelice said.

"Which is why we felt this matter should be handled in such a manner as to send a clear message to all who would follow, that this sort of activity is not allowed. Specifically, by letting Clash succeed. See, we know his plans, know what he's going to do. With a bit of planning, we can circumvent his plans to enslave all of you Greater Spirits to his will, and finish by leaving him in the arena, where you can unite your powers and end his plans for conquest, definitively. This would insure such attempts remain rare acts, and allow us to handle future attempts quietly." Warden said.

[The Floor Kippers]

"I would certainly send out a clear message, that we are the power here," Ordinatio agreed.

[Warhaven]

"There are specific measures we've taken to counter Clash, at the appropriate moment. We'll all play along, and toady to the miscreant, until the one person he's overlooked makes his move. And worry though you might, young Erdin is totally impervious to Clash and all his tricks." Warden said.

At that moment, Erdin solved the puzzle and looked up.

"What?" he asked, having been paying more attention to his test.

"You are the key to our victory," Eris said.

[Warhaven]

"Isn't that dangerous?" Erdin asked, eyebrow raised.

"It depends on how creative you get." Lily said.

"Less is better?" Erdin asked.

"There is a certain point of ineffectiveness. Just, follow your instincts, their strong." Paernatio advised.
