Official Message of the Imperial Caliphate of Azurand
To: The Allied States of New Edom
From: The Imperial Caliphate of Azurand

I, Emperor Mahdi on behalf of the Imperial Caliphate of Azurand hereby commend the breakthrough committed by the Allied States. Despite the blatant heresy of homosexuals and adoration to their own lust is almost unforgivable, it is enlightening that there is a nation outside faithfully hold the values of Truth.

We indeed shall offer assistance to the Allied States to help your re-education program, in order to maintain the sanctity of Edomites and the enlightenment for those who corrupted by the spawn of Devil.

Christian Democratic Militia Held Territory, Haran Province

The land was baked hard by the sun. Rocky desert, mountains and areas of broken rock, knife edged volcanic remnants, a salt plain--it was hardly paradise. Some of the inhabitants still lived in stone piled huts in the shade of cliff and mountain outcropping, while others lived in hide tents. The roads, the stream beds were parched and cracked.

However there were larger settlements. Before the fall of the government old Monarchist Provincial Government there had been a growing industry in copper, tin, bauxite mining in the province, with towns to support the mining infrastructure springing up, centered around the small city of Fort Necessity. It was not a spectacular city--175,000 people, with the old city of clay baked flat topped houses spread out around 1950s era buildings that were being gradually rewired and altered to suit the more modern needs.

The Air Force Base was largely focused on the Kometa Radar Complex which was on a base a few km east of the city, surrounded by guarded fences with many warning signs. The Kometa complex consisted of a central building and two main wings and is equipped with two transceiving phased array radars 200 meters long and 20 meters high. The radars were placed on the sloped surface of a building 200 meters long and up to 75 meters high. A total of six radars were deployed at Hypparchia's border areas and covered a 360-degree field of early warning and detection of incoming missiles. It was an old fashioned system bought 20 years before but it still worked; while New Edom now had its own AWACs and UAVs it was a failsafe. The nation across the border, Nalaya, was a long standing ally and of no serious concern on that front, though it also covered possible incursions from the southern coast in case the Naval Air Station at Sterry missed anything.

There was also a refueling flight, a transport flight, an Air Defense Artillery Battery of ABMS-1, and a Tactical Fighter Squadron that was part of a defensive relay system in case the bombers at Gone AFB to the north was activated on duty southwards. The army units at the Base were largely bored unhappy young men (and a few women) who served as base security, logistics, transport, medical and other support duties. Because military resources were stretched thing, the Christian Democratic Militia under Lieutenant-Colonel Daniel Asher were of great importance. Daniel Asher was in fact one of the senior tribal leaders in the area.

The economics of the area were focused on the National Petroleum Company and the National Mining Company's prospecting efforts; other than that Fort Necessity was a dried up town.

This was part of why people were excited about the new Reeducation Center--it meant more jobs, more sales of local goods, more work. Some were upset about it--some felt that the Military Government was too soft on homosexuals. But many were eager to sell their goods and services. 160 'clients' were expected.

It had been built not too far from the railroad, in a neighborhood with a small market, good roads (albeit dusty and dry in the summer as now) and a few new buildings, including the one the Administrator lived in.

The Administrator
Rikhard Holst, an Anglo-German, had been appointed Administrator-General not only by the Ministry of Education but also agreed upon by the Ministers of Culture and Health.

He was a man who had a great deal of energy that was contained in a veneer of calm; even resting he was like a panther, as though his body contained a ferocity and zest for life that was barely contained. He nodded that morning to a pair of servants who placed chilled orange juice, hot cakes, and fruit on the long table facing the screened veranda.

The phone rang as he examined the morning newspaper on his ipad—he spoke briefly with his contact at the Ministry.

As he was talking a lovely fair haired woman, slim but curvaceous, wearing a lavender robe, came walking out into the breakfast room from around a corner. “Mmm…what a lovely night…”

He smiled but continued to talk to the deputy undersecretary until they were done the conversation. The woman’s gracefulness and charm delighted him, but there were many women in the world, and his affair with his PA was not the first he had had. His wife had (of course) disdained to come—she was determined to stay in Gloria Regis no matter what happened, apparently, with their two oldest children in the military and wanting to support them…

Mya was right though—it had been a lovely night. There was something to be said about women who’d had an Intellectual Party education…

They were living in a Plus Energy designed house built by Green Technologies—intended to actually produce rather than merely consume energy. Holst was amazed at it—in a world where you had to look out for number one, it only made sense to not be tied too much to a larger economy. Increasingly big corporations tended to want you to be their utter slaves, but he, like most Gloria Regian Lecks, was a libertarian at heart, believing in a modest socialist government that looked after the collective whole while individuals and families tended to look after their own and form economic communities to their benefit.

The Complex

Naked people painted with tribal paint wearing little more than mantles and sandals watched sitting with impassive faces as sprinklers hissed in an ever continued semi-circle around emerald lawns near the administrative buildings. It was a salmon and cream colored confection of a complex of a gymnasium, dormitories, administration and classrooms. Security, painted with a light blue sunscreen and wearing caps, utility belts and sturdy sandals patrolled with panting dogs.

This message has been sent out to governments who have questioned our policy or our motives behind it, and has been sent out at the behest of all branches and senior leadership of our country.

It is unfortunate that so often in history people who are outside of Christian morality have been ill treated, punished, seen as enemies and treated uncharitably. Part of what Christ teaches us is to love our enemies, and bless those who curse us.

The fact that someone is a victim--even of the circumstances that are beyond their control--does not sanctify their lifestyle or actions; it merely means that they should be treated kindly. People who are homosexuals may certainly emigrate from New Edom to countries where their lifestyle choices are acceptable. While they live in New Edom such legal status as would enable them to become married, adopt children, act in any capacity as a government official from member of the clergy to teacher to military officer to government minster is denied them, this is absolutely true. This is because this is part of our social contract.

What is terribly tragic is that so many societies professing to be Christian have fallen from the sight of the risen Christ to the point where they victimize others. This is not what we are doing. What we are doing is providing the means whereby they can fit within our society better. We are no more obligated to provide for the individualism that runs many nations in the world than those other nations are to officially adopt Christianity. These are our laws, this is our nation.

Honeyed words will not disguise the tyranny that sweeps through your land. You cannot claim you are helping these people integrate into society when you do not let them live their daily lives as they please. You speak of help when all you offer is pain and suffering. We again issue our ultimatum: either stop this program immediately, allow all homosexuals to leave the nation at once and cancel the program, or resist, and action will be taken.

"This is going to be a tricky one."
"Yeah, we can't do no-collateral this time around. Detonation will have to be short-range, too."

The two men who were going to be responsible for this act of terror weren't blending in. It was impossible. Large duffel bags were going to look incredibly odd. They instead favored camouflage, to blend in to the general environment.

As they made their way around back, they saw their first obstacle. Packing homemade crossbows, both men quickly managed to dispatch the two security guards around back. The dogs, confused, didn't react in time for the two to reload and fire two more bolts, slaying both.

They had to act fast. There seemed to be a lot of patrolling men. Luckily for them, this building had a lot of support structuring on the outer walls, in the form of pillars and beam bases. The pounds of C4 were just lazily planted across the entire back of the building, with extra care on key points. They scattered, only just missing the man who'd discover the bodies and bombs.

"Uh, yeah, we have a big problem--"

The bombs beeped three times, then exploded, blasting debris inwards, and collapsing the entire building. Once one side disappeared, the rest of the building buckled.

The two men scattered, but had to be pretty quick, and pretty sloppy. Hopefully the witnesses couldn't send the police their way before they got away.

Fort Necessity, Haran Province

The various people who had been admiring the building were shocked as it collapsed, and began crying out in horror and dismay. However also seeing two people running away from it--with all the concerns about Anarchists and terrorists going on--had some suspicions going, and some of the people began to try to chase them down, some of them stopping to throw bricks and rocks at them, calling out, "Don't let them get away! Assassins! Murderers!" running after them and pointing at them. "Those two there!" People who had stuck their heads out of windows or doorways craning their heads in surprise and dismay to see what had happened, if they saw the two fleeing the scene shouted after them as well. Some of them grabbed heavy sticks, but others, who were part of the militia billeted in homes of family or friends, grabbed their rifles, pistols, machetes and rushed out too.

In the aftermath, a huge cloud of dust hung over the city, and there was a sense of dismay from all who had heard it--even if it was a faint noise in the distance from across town, there was a sense that something terrible had happened. From the train station a few blocks away a phone call was made by a stunned rail official to the police and the fire department of the city. Soon sirens were going off as well.

We would like to draw your attention to this paragraph again, particularly the bolded part of it.

Homosexuals are not required to stay in this country if they don't want to. They are not obliged to change a lifestyle or face criminal charges; they simply are not considered to be acting in such a capacity as to benefit the community in general by maintaining a homosexual 'lifestye'. We hope that this is clear. Having stated that, we ask you to refrain from threats, as the next threatening remarks will result in an appropriate response from the Minister of Defense advising you that we are more than capable of handling any threats your nation might attempt to carry out. Nevertheless, our hope is for peace.

The two just kept running, ducking in to every cover, using free-running to their advantage to weave between alley ways, climb things, trying to put as much distance between them and the forming mob as possible.

While all of the focus was on the two men, a courier slipped up, and placed a new message on the front of the National Legislature building. He was, surprisingly to him, arrested by armed security who responded to this attack with paranoia. The message was confiscated, and he was hauled off.

HOW PROUD YOU HAVE BECOME.

We are willing to accept your conditions. We would also like to make a request: we wish for the emigrants to be allowed to either remain in contact with their families and/or allow their families to have the option to go with them.

In any case, arrangements are being made to send over transportation by land and sea. When asked to identify themselves, they will say the code "born into purple". This is prevent any unfortunate incidents. We are aware that your government has been receiving threats an feel this extra precaution could help prevent a tragedy.

We're also glad we could solve this peacefully. A war between our nations would be fruitless and prove to be nothing but a waste of man young lives.

Fort Necessity

One of the militia NCOs, still with shaving cream on his face from having rushed out of a barber's shop, stood in the street, shouting at people to get out of the way, and fired at the legs of one of the running men. If he could, he also fired at the legs of the other--he wanted them wounded, not dead. While not the greatest marksman in the country, he had served as a regular soldier, was cool under fire and went hunting regularly; he was a good solid shot and had made a swift decision.

Public Address of General Perrin Pahath-Moab

I have just received news that one of our Reeducation Centers was targeted by Anarchists. It was blown up, and eight men and several innocent animals--guard dogs--were killed. Nearby buildings were damaged. Fort Necessity is a poor community but a hardworking and devout one; they have offered no harm to anyone. People waiting nearby for the gates of the facility to open so that they could go in and clean, cook or make beds were injured; people who have to support families.

The Anarchist movement and their supporters, and the supporters of gay rights often speak of the innocent and of fair treatment, yet I see few examples of how they treat others fairly. I will be making sure that an article from the Fineberg Times newspaper is reprinted and refreshed for all to see, but I will sum it up now. Approximately Four hundred and thirty five women and one hundred and sixty five men were held prisoner in a camp north of Shavan, Bara Province, by the Anarchists who claim to be heroes of the people for their own brand of reeducation.

This reeducation however was not done by confronting values with education, rebuilding of community sensibilities and moreover was not one which the the recipients had any choice in. No, they were members of the End Times Church Militia and Edenist Faith, taken from their units or homes and with torture, deprivation and rape forced to receive Anarcho-Syndicalist propaganda.

There has been not one response from any government or entity regarding these tales of horror suffered by ordinary people in this country.

In Glasstower, Anarchists murdered innocent travelers and workers in the name of 'solidarity', and the world said nothing.

And so what I say to the world is this: shame. Shame for being so concerned about the right of homosexuals to marry and hold public office but not having the slightest concern for victims of rape, torture and murder in the same country. Shame for offering not a penny nor a thought for support of a government trying to keep its people safe from murderous ideological fanatics. If you really care about the New Edomite people focus on who the real enemies are.

As for the Anarchists who committed this act of murder: shame as well. If you are honest, you know full well that we did not hesitate to seek compromise and understanding with socialist workers in Gloria Regis Protectorate or in Lookinghaven; if you had come asking to discuss the matter we would have honoured that. It is now my time to warn you: I will not tolerate threats and attacks upon my people. Let the dead Anarchists in Glasstower, at Shavan, at Aran, on the Buann River and in the Silver River Valley be a warning to you.

THE FINEBERG TIMES

Murder Camps in Bara

Image
Liberated Girls from Camp near Shavan

by Timothy Stanton
SHAVAN, Bara Province--"The brave ones are buried in a clearing in the woods." said a young man softly, his voice full of grief but no tears shed, as though the heavens had to weep for him. "We are the ones who sought to survive. The brave ones, the ones who would never give in, who did not go mad, are buried."

These are the words of a young man who prefers to remain unnamed following his liberation by Nalayan soldiers of the Vahan Division who were sent after information from a prisoner who had admitted that Anarchist insurgents had prison camps in the forested areas north of the liberated town of Shavan.

For the past several months, New Edom and her allies have been engaged in a war against determined and ruthless Anarcho-Syndicalist rebels who have used everything from terrorism to hostage takings to guerilla warfare in their effort to control the Province of Bara. The Hooded Man, the elusive leader of the Anarchist rebels, swore that anyone practicing the popular provincial faith of Edenism would be subjected to what was referred to as 'forced intercourse' until they agreed to abandon their religion. The Anarchists made good their threats, up to abducting hundreds of Edenists and subjecting them to torture and rape. Dozens of villages have been burned, in some cases with resisting inhabitants locked into buildings in actions termed "Evacuations" by the Hooded Man.

One such camp was liberated by Nalayan soldiers, some of whom wept to discover a mass grave and quonset huts where captives were held like animals. The capture of the camp was a costly victory and the Anarchists fought hard to protect the area. Brainwashing through torment of captives is a key recruiting strategy in gaining them younger soldiers in their early to mid teens. A deliberately destroyed headquarters suggests that there may be more such 'recruiting camps'.

It is hoped that this revelation will bring to an end the financial and military support that the Anarchist rebels have received from foreign sources. Pictures and lists of the missing still haunt notice boards in the towns and villages of Bara Province. It is hoped by those who liberated the camp as well as by those liberated, and their families that the world will recognize this struggle and will condemn those who have used such tactics against the helpless and innocent.

Carlo read the news article "shit, no this again!" he said as he put his laptop down into his desk. He has been following closely the condemnations, the results of the program, and the terrorist attacks. "One thing is to warn them and receive former declaration of war, another one is terrorism". He created an e-mail for the dignitaries and sent it to their inbox.

To all,

While I am disgusted at the gay reeducation program from New Edom, I also disapprove of this new terrorism going on by the terrorists who blew up the building risking the lives of many civilians who have nothing to do with this affair. I would like to advise the international community to give aid to the victims of this tragedy as well as the homosexuals who are being oppressed in New Edom.

Kindly Yours,

FROM THE MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS and the MINISTRY OF JUSTICE
To Carlo Lupus
President of the Confinian Republic

We are very grateful for your words of support for the victims of the bombing. While it may seem that we are simply oppressing homosexuals, we are in fact not. Our laws have never endorsed nor encouraged homosexuality. We are in fact giving them choices that will help them fit into our culture and society to a greater degree.

At the end of the day it is surely the mandate of a nation to decide how to conduct their internal affairs according to legislation and reasoned decision making. Homosexuals are not denied food and water, shelter, medical assistance, education, or the right to earn a living wage and trade; they are not denied access to information or travel. If any are ill treated it is because of the choices of individuals or groups who have forgotten or chosen to ignore the Christian values with which they were raised.

sincerely,
Benjamin Kent,
Minister of Foreign Affairs

Order Eidos
International Press Statement

The Holy Curia affirms its support for the Allied States' mental health initiative, and commends its commitment to public health and safety. Homosexuality is a condition which has increasingly gone unaddressed, even as its prevalence grows with each passing year. The damage this affliction causes on a regular basis merits serious consideration. It is well-documented that homosexuality spreads venereal disease, destroys families, leads to promiscuous behavior, and otherwise disrupts the lives of too many. It is the duty of the righteous to care for and ultimately redeem those suffering from this heinous illness of the mind.

At the same time, the Imperium takes this opportunity to express its shock and dismay at the international response to New Edom's commendable program. It is their permissive attitudes which dissuade the afflicted from seeking treatment, as they are deceived into believing this is "normal" behavior. It is disturbing how these liberal nations seek to impose their skewed values on New Edom, yet offer not so much as an expression of sympathy over the horrific atrocities perpetrated against the Edomite people by anarchists. Clearly, morality has never been a fixture of such societies.

To: Mr. Benjamin Kent, Minister of Foreign Affairs
From: Duke Damian of Jedoria

Dear Minister,

It has come to my attention in the latest issue of ‘The Fineberg Times’ that the construction and implementation of a homosexual re-education program has been completed with the realm of the Haran Province. In many ways, this is unexpected. You are a nation of Christians, a country founded under God. The wish to implement righteousness in the eyes of the Lord throughout your lands is understandable.

But as a man of conscience, I cannot support such an endeavor. Jedoria may not be the land of high moral standings, nor can we claim we have always ‘taken the high road’. Feelings of regret are commonplace in the Confederation Government, that much is true. But where we do make our stand, we stand firm.

Relations between our two nations are simple. We have no hostilities between us, no source of conflict. We share many of the same ideals and we strive for peace in these troubled times. But the biggest divide between us are our cultural differences. It has been, and most likely will be the primary reason we do not seek to further our comradeship. The relaxation of your nation’s Nudity Laws gave hope that perhaps more would be done in terms of furthering diplomatic exchanges, but alas, this recent news has dashed that hope.

I am, of course, in no position to tell you how to run your nation. Writing a letter for the purpose of chiding you and asking you to cease your actions is undoubtedly futile. New Edom will pursue whatever course of action they feel is necessary, and we in Jedoria understand and respect that. While disappointing, this is certainly not enough to end the trade relations we have, and I’m fairly certain I won’t wake up tomorrow and find that New Edom considers itself an enemy of Jedoria.

The unlikely aside, this revelation does bring to light the reality that our existing divisions are not likely to end any time soon. The Jedorian Government simply cannot partner itself any further up with a nation that seeks to change the identity of a person, based on something as simple as their sexual orientation.

Naturally, with as many troubles as New Edom faces, this may not be at the top of your agenda. Instead, we wish you the best of luck in ending the ongoing conflict in Bara, and hope that the horrors of the death camps once fully revealed will end all assistance to the anarchist forces.

The Jedorian Government, and myself, will continue to hope you will eventually cast off your attempts at ‘normalizing’ homosexuals, but until then, nothing is left to be said.

Kind Regards,
Duke Damian of Jedoria

Official Statement of the Free Republic of Kahanistan
Ministry of Foreign Affairs

The Government of Kahanistan is disgusted by the homophobic and oppressive policies of its ICE ally. We sympathise with the oppressed gay population of New Edom and are disturbed at the notion that their government pressures them to live according to a certain interpretation of Christianity, or any other religion for that matter.

In protest, we will suspend any and all military cooperation with New Edomite forces on the anti-slaver front, lest these despicable views be spread to our troops abroad and our government will suspend trade with New Edomite industries until these vile policies are repealed.

Signed,

Dr. Jacob Lucas,
Acting Foreign Minister

The Republic of Gylias
The People's Will Shall Be Sovereign

To: Ministry of Foreign Affairs of The Allied States of New Edom
From: Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Gylias
Subject: Protest against your "reeducation" policy

Hey there fuckface!

We hereby protest against your government's abominably idiotic decision to persecute your own citizens based on something as insignificant as what their sexual orientation is, and denounce your attempt to use the state in order to force everyone to conform to a certain set of values and lifestyle. Brainwashing your own people because to conform to a single standard of morality and behaviour is an outrageously, monstrously barbaric measure that only reveals how morally bankrupt, backward and unelightened your country actually is. Seriously, who the fuck appointed anyone as the Minister for Declaring What Is Normal and What Isn't, and how dare any of you be so arrogant as to presume that you have a right to that position? Are you all god or something, and who made you that?

Then again, I shouldn't be surprised, given how your government has apparently appointed as education minister an abject idiot and staffed the ministry of health with sadistic, totalitarian psychopaths who would make Weas Erfydh proud. Given that your Ministry of goddamn Health is populated by the kind of close-minded, unintelligent narcissists so unconcerned about helping people and caring more about ordering them about, I'm frankly surprised your country hasn't already passed the event horizon of self-absorbed, sociopathic egotism and collapsed into a black hole to serve as a warning for the rest of the universe. I strongly sympathise with the rational residents of New Edom who have to deal with the fact that they're being governed by the oppressive likes of you, and I eagerly await the day when justice will eventually prevail.

Wake us up when you decide to join the 21st century, you disgusting dictators. (And to think we were actually considering establishing diplomatic relations with you. Thanks for dispelling our illusions!)

Yours from Gylias with hate,
Margarit Vartanian
Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Gylias

GRIFFINDON
FOREIGN MINISTRY

The Foregin Minister the Rt Hon T.Baxter was appalled to say the least, the damn Christian Fundementalists it seemed could not leave well enough alone, he should put in a call to the Ministry of Police and see if things could be done. But for now it was time for action.

FROM: The Rt Hon T.Baxter Foreign Minister of Mcnernia
TO: Who this may concern

 Greetings

His Majesties Government would like to voice the opinion that reeducation programs are not necessary, the Anglo-Catholic Church does not bother with sexual orientation. Yet there are very few open Homosexuals in the Empire owing to a "dont ask and dont tell" sort of thing going on. So perhaps we are not that qualified to comment but we think it would not be the best for stability in New Edom to persecute the population that is homosexual. So as not to cause problems. Parliament will meet to discuss what to do in the regards to the sitiuation.

We are very grateful for your words of support. While it may seem to some unenlightened persons and nations that we are simply oppressing homosexuals, we are in fact not. Our laws have never endorsed nor encouraged homosexuality. We are in fact giving them choices that will help them fit into our culture and society to a greater degree. We are therefore acting with the greatest social responsibility towards those who are ill and suffering from social stigmatization, and trying to help them become useful, productive and accepted members of society.

sincerely,
Benjamin Kent,
Minister of Foreign Affairs

As our ally, it is not of course required that you agree with all of our internal policies, nor is it necessary for us to agree with yours. The proposed alternate views on this matter are received with the courtesy with which they were clearly intended.

sincerely,
Benjamin Kent,
Minister of Foreign Affairs

It is unfortunate that you simply see us as having made a seemingly random decision to 'persecute our own citizens based on something as insignificant as what their sexual orientation is.'

This is an interesting view shows little understanding. Our society was founded upon Christian values based on the Holy Bible in the Sixteenth Century, and this is the mandate under which all laws and decisions are made. You claim in your nation's motto that the people's will shall be sovereign. Has it occurred to you that this is the people's will? Therefore why should we gainsay it?

And they always have the option of peacefully leaving. There are other nations with which we have made such arrangements.

It is interesting that liberal and progressive countries are often quick to judge, and yet where was your nation when our people were starving and genuinely oppressed by civil war? Where is your country now, when Anarchist insurgents kidnap, rape, torture and murder ordinary citizens as a way of trying to hold the citizens hostage to sway the government's decisions? The Anarchist Insurgency has created death camps in Bara Province which our 'reactionary' allies are striving to free people from. Where are your people in this struggle? Apparently very concerned about whether or not we offer the opportunity for our non-heterosexual citizens to change their ways and fit in with our society more.

sincerely,
Benjamin Kent,
Minister of Foreign Affairs

Your response is somewhat disappointing. The Allied States of New Edom's government is simply choosing to provide options to the small segment of our population that is avowedly homosexual.

While it may seem that we are simply oppressing homosexuals, we are in fact not. Our laws have never endorsed nor encouraged homosexuality. We are in fact giving them choices that will help them fit into our culture and society to a greater degree.

Apparently very concerned about whether or not we offer the opportunity for our non-heterosexual citizens to change their ways and fit in with our society more.

Finally: if your country chooses to not work with ours on anti-slavery matters simply out of pique because you do not like the fact that we do not bend over backwards to allow lifestyles we consider deviant be rewarded--then one has to wonder how much your country really cares about freeing people from genuine oppression.

FROM THE MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS and the MINISTRY OF JUSTICE
To The Rt. Hon. T. Baxter, Foreign Minister of McNernia

Lately we have received a number of messages from the McNernian Government on internal matters within New Edom, which we have politely received as advice from an ally while we have tried to get on with the difficult business of government. It seems that your own government's leaders have difficulty with understanding that at the moment our chief focus is making an interim government made up of a coalition of people from the major factions that had divided it, led by military leaders who have only the best interests of the country at heart, work to the best of its ability. We have a deadly insurgency to deal with, have had to deal with threats of invasion and with international Anarchist terrorism as well as the complex problems resulting in emergence from years of civil war.

And they always have the option of peacefully leaving. There are other nations with which we have made such arrangements.

While your nation's help has been appreciated, we ask that you do not presume that simply because certain policies and views implemented in your country have worked that they will work in the same way for our country.

sincerely,
Benjamin Kent,
Minister of Foreign Affairs

Stonehaven Prison

This is what happened to the Anarchist prisoner who tried to put up the poster on the National Legislature Building. (the other two were taken to a secured infirmary for the time being and watched carefully)

He was hooded, taken in a noisy vehicle to an underground parking lot; he was taken into Stonehaven Prison though he did not know it yet. The many doors were often required to be opened by mechanical keys, and he would be forced to face the wall, wrists bound with plastic ties behind and the hood on his face, while doors were opened. It was impossible to know how many Council Police were around him. He was then taken to what appeared to be an infirmary, and his hood removed, his clothing was removed with box cutters and his body completely shaved by two nurses who were wearing full white coveralls, face masks and rubber gloves. Any effort at struggling resulted in hard faced tough men in black uniforms manhandling him, their hands expertly grabbing pressure points. They painted his body a purple stain and used special cameras to take pictures of him, and did a methodical but invasive cavity search. He was not permitted to dress. He was informed that the Compulsory Nudity Act was enforced where matters of security, patriotism or religious zeal were required. He was taken to another room, a sterile blank walled room with a door that had no handle on the inside, with an odd, disturbing machine noise as though some device was in a semi-organic way attempting to breathe. A Council Police officer, a man with a strange scar that gave him a half smile, asked him a number of rather routine sounding questions. Two beefy CP NCOs stood nearby him at arm's length watching him with the dispassionate eyes of desert lizards.

Where were you born? What is your age? What is your full name? Are you married? How many children do you have, legitimate or illegitimate? What is your practicing religion? How long have you been a homosexual? What is your shoe size? What grade of education have you received? Are you a communist? Why do you hate the Allied States of New Edom? What is your favourite colour? How long have you been a communist? Where is the money hidden? Are you married What is your shoe size? Why don't you love the Lord Jesus? Where were you born? What time is it? How long have you been a homosexual? Explain Marx's definition of class struggle! What grade of education have you received? What did you last eat for supper? Are you a communist? Are you married? How many children do you have, legitimate or illegitimate? Where were you born? What is your age? What is your full name?
