The year is now 1890. China is the dominant force is Asia, with its borders stretching well into Southeast Asia. Britain is its only regional rival, controlling Australia with an iron grip. The CSA and the Canadian Empire dominate the Americas while Russia and The Nordic Empire face off against other European powers in a tense climate. Distrust and deceit run rampant as each nation vies for increased influence and control.

All rifles are replaced by the Mauser Gewehr 1888, with certain modifications made by the Confederate gunsmiths in Harper's Ferry. A new organizational structure is created, with unit sizes increased for the regular military. Additional changes include the replacement of Men of War with Dreadnoughts, Battleships, Battlecruisers, and Cruisers. Destroyers, Submarines, and Corvettes form the backbone of escorts and commerce raiders. The Confederate Marines regularly use the Caribbean Islands as amphibious assault training grounds.

During the skip of time to 1890 the British Empire, under Queen Victoria's rule, has lost the East India Trading Company and the Indian colonies, built cities in Australia, conquered France and Germany, an Industrial Revolution also occured leading to mass production of lead, copper, steel, gold and iron it also led to rapid growth in the population. The British Empire has also claimed lands in Canada, India, the CSA and New Zealand. With these claims Queen Victoria hopes to bring order to the world by conquering most of it. Queen Victoria has also declared absolute monarchy in the British Empire with support from British Lords and citizens to bring understanding to the world that she and the British people are not to be messed around with.

Now in 1890, Her Majesty Queen Victoria states that any country that goes against the British Empire shall be invaded and any country that stands by the Empire shall be greatly rewarded. Victoria has also sent letters to all rulers stating that anyone that allies with the British Empire shall be enriched with gold, huge plots of land and an unforgettable ally.

Both our nations are large and have colonies and claims around the world. But one thing that interferes with our chances of alliance is your claim on Canada proper. We request for you to revoke your claims on our nations as your dreams of taking our lands shall never be wrought from our hands.

After most of ours are out, yours may enter as a quick transition of control may cause unnecessary bloodshed, so it is necessary for there to be troops in there as the transition takes place. We don't want any bloodbath, so we are taking every precaution necessary.

As Britain ruled Germany with a iron fist, various towns and cities roared in rebellion, driving the Brits out of the respective towns and cities. They chose a brilliant general as their leader. This general was General Karl II, a brilliant strategist in the rebellion. More towns and cities revolted after this. Now, their numbers count to 300,000 - 400,000 men. Small and disorganized, but very hardy and disciplined. Their main base is based at Berlin. They have hijacked ships for their own use, some British soldiers have joined their ranks...

Her Majesty Queen Victoria hears news of the rebellions in France and Germany and commits an action that some would consider strange, she writes a letter to the rebels with an opportunistic offer.

To the Rebel Leaders:

This is a letter of astute proportion. I want to the offer you the chance to be kings under my rule as Empress of the British Empire. I will give you your respective kingdoms and in return you will be vasssals under my rule. If you accept this offer then I graciously ask that you write back, however if you do not accept my offer then I will have to fight you which is something unwanted by me as my troops do not need to take unnecessary casualties.

After hearing news about the letter, the Germans began to wonder, what do they truly want, it was decided upon, that all out rebellion will happen, however, the general did not choose on this. A letter was sent.

Now that our rule in our colonies is now solidified, we can spare more soldiers. 300,000 solderid Weill be en route to your nation from the Congo river basin colony, Niger delta colony, as well as some volunteers from South Africa and New Zealand. Which, by the way, we must meet after the war to finalize the transaction of Canadian rule over south Africa and New Zealand to British. And a simple request is that any Zealanders or south Africans whom with to migrate to Canada or one of its colonies be allowed to.

Big news from the Tanying Empire!
The emperor has died. Emperor Zoumin died this morning of old age. The new emperor, Shounian, will be crowned in three weeks' time. All world leaders are invited. According to Imperial Decree, any country who wants to open diplomatic relations with the empire can arrange for meetings to do so. Also, between now and the coronation, the Forbidden City will be open to all Tanying citizens.

Coronation of a King

Today Empress Victoria hands down the Kingdom of Germany to His Majesty King Karl II of Germany. Also today the new King is coronated as King of Germany. Empress Victoria will be throwing a titanic party, for the next 2 months, in which leaders and citizens alike are invited to meet both royal families (The Empress's and The King's) and to improve their relations with the Empire of Britain and Kingdom of Germany. The Empress has also decided that she will intend the crowning of the Emperor of the Tanying Empire to improve diplomatic relations with the Chinese Empire.

In other news, there is now a train route that travels from Eastern England to Western England constructed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel himself to allow for better access between the East and the West. The Empress has also made it illegal to hunt swans and made it that all swans are owned by the Brtish Empire's royal family.

Declaration of war

The British Empire is making a formal declaration of war against the Confederate States of America. It calls upon anyone who wishes for a great alliance with Britain to join them in declaring war. This marks the beginning of a war that will shake the globe as it is between two of the most powerful nations in the world.

Troop Movement:
-Five battleships, 15 missile cruisers and 2 aircraft carriers (16 aircraft) carrying 15,000,000 soldiers (13,250,000 infantry, 1,500,000 cavalry and 250,000 artillery) sail towards the CSA across the Atlantic Ocean

Change in Law:
-Conscription has been enacted increasing miltary size by 750,000 infantry
-England has been granted its own national anthem called Jerusalem
-The British national anthem is changed to Rule Britannia
-Everyday assemblies in schools require compulsory singing of the national anthem
-Britain has setup a politico-economic union called the European Union which invites all European countries to join in a union of Europe in an attempt to create continental peace
