Miyane is a region established upon the ideals of realistic and human-only roleplay; held up by its strong OOC community. A spectacular world filled with the amazing sights of gargantuan oceans, snaking rivers, calm lakes, glowing mountain peaks, shining stars, and a plethora of cities, filled with joyful people. Or, if you prefer the hostile paradigm, Miyane can be a battlefield of opposing armies, duking it out over the lands carved for thousand of years, only to be obliterated in an instant. With the booming noises of distant artillery shattering the peaks which have been gazed upon for so long...
Many will try, and many will fall. There are those who shall stand above their adversaries in glorious victory, and others who are left in the deep hole of loss. This is the way things work, how war and survival operate. There is no such thing as “fair”, when every minute is a battle for your national survival among the competing states of the world. However, one may desire the peaceful solution; a compromise, or the diplomatic way. Resolving differences through treaties signed by the opposing states in order to ensure international tranquility, instead of violently attempting to crush the other.
This is what Miyane focuses on. The choice is yours, and you shan't be swayed by the desires of alliances or coalitions or other states to act in a way that is uncomfortable for one. Hence why nations' actions in Miyane-canon roleplays do not have affect outside of the region, and, furthermore, why alliances and the like do not exist in the Miyane sphere. We do not wish to see nations, who, maintain a high-level of creativity and competence, turned away from acting in their chosen way simply because something they're a member of wants them to do it another way or not at all. It is against that nation's sovereignty, both in-character-wise and overall. Miyane tries to avoid this route, as it corrupts something that makes an RP region special: the ability to stay neutral or isolate themselves entirely from the politics of the alliance atmosphere.
Therefore, it was so established that, in the early days of the month of September, the region of Miyane was to be formed as to achieve the ideals and sentiments laid out and described in the preceding statements. Shortly thereafter, the region was created, and community ready to be constructed. Insofar, Miyane is on the road to a new age. As the region takes its first baby steps the leadership is working to create thorough RPs and a diverse and detailed map; all of which are soon to come.
