Even me, I gave Kalosia 24 points, but I do think that was unfair, looking back on it. I know some people (Electrum I think) has this system where the two best acts get the 12 points, the second best two acts get ten and so on so forth. Wouldn't this be a way to stop the problem happening here? The negatives about this really is that it would be harder for a nation to beat Polkopia's record. Oh and it be a harder process.

Oh but I dont regret giving Kalosia that 24.

Probably better off waiting until the new Committee are elected, but yeah, I do agree.

Hey, thank you!

Reminds me of a case where a nation and his puppets (who usually give each other 12) exchanged 10 points and then gave 12 to a same unrelated nation. I gave both my 12 to Rouen last edition because I found it underrated (no points until the last few voters? c'mon). Imo enacting rules for what you proposed should also replace current puppet voting regulations (the 5-point limit).

Or perhaps there are alternative solutions where we can give multiple votes to a same nation to an extent? Maybe introduce a rule where the maximum number of points a user can give any individual nation is 12 (so Kalosia gives 12 to Rouen but Saviera gives none, or both give 6, or 5/7, etc)
But yeah I agree w/ Ekoz let's wait for the new commitee - looking forward to who they are!

Or 16; I think it would be better that way as a nation can give 12 and the puppet can still give points to the same entry, but not too many.

Something like that, we'll figure it out with the committee when it gets revamped. It'll be interesting to see the five-seat arrangement return. yes, manifesto incoming

No, that's too drastic. I enjoy writing 2 songs for the contest. I write my songs very early (Like, I am half way through Estogium's and Britonisea's songs already) and if we only have one main nation, life here is boring. More votes too! Puppets are essential...well, they're not, but you get me.

or a pre-qualifying round for puppets

I've actually been thinking of a "retrovision" contest which is ICly annual but OOCly happens right after each other. We'd send entries that reflect (the music of) our nations in the IC time period of the contest. But I won't actually try to make this a reality, at least without a joint effort.

BNRT informs the WorldVision Committee and all those involved that there has been a change to the planned Normand entry, due to unforseen circumstances. Details are below.

Title: Stranger (Why?)
Language: English
Artist: Marijé Esvent
Tune: https://m.youtube.com/?gl=GB#/watch?v=aNzCDt2eidg

OOC: I already had an idea for the staging and have already done the lyrics for this and couldn't be bothered coming up with the staging or lyrics for the other one. Therefore, the song has changed.
