DMITRA

''I'm Dmitra Sheremyev. And yes, I am a northerner. I come from a town called Ursk in the very far north of the United Regions of Verona, outside the city of Yaktursk where I go to school. This sounds weird, but I decided to pick you of all the bitches here to talk to because, to be honest, you look exactly like a Centro-Southern Veronan!'' said Dmitra, following the group. She looked around at the buildings, before continuing, ''I myself am not Centro-Southern, I am a Northern Veronan, although our actual race is Bastalvan, since Bastalvans came thousands of years ago when Verona & Bastalva were joined,''

She stopped talking for a moment to get her breath and to check a message from her mother she had just got. She then resumed, ''I forgot to ask, what's your name?''

YARA (ATTN. ARMEIA)

Yara swung around to see Jess, albeit she had no clue who this tiny little girl was. ''Um.... Sure!'' was all that came out of Yara. After a moments pause, she continued, ''I'm Yara, and you are?''

Sari
Sari detached from the group briefly noticing that a new student appeared to have just arrived. "Hello there. Have you just arrived here now?", she questioned the girl.

Jess

"I'm Jess, Jess Høljmark. I'm from Armeia," said Jess, approaching Yara. She felt small standing near her, that was for sure, but spending a lot of time in Verona had made her used to that feeling.

Anja

"Yep," replied Anja. She looked the smaller girl up and down twice, something she did to all her opponents in MMA before a fight started, before continuing. "Did everyone already pick rooms?"

"I think so yes. Don't worry though we'll get something sorted for you. I'm Sari by the way. Where are you from?", Sari asked whilst thinking of ways she could find a room for this girl.

Anja

"West Armeia, born and bred," said Anja. The West part of Armeia is where the country's large nuclear arsenal came from, and both of Anja's parents were laborers who'd worked on the Loftus Project, Armeia's nuclear experimentation program. The region's unofficial motto was 'Nuke em' till they glow," which Anja had tattooed on her arm bellow the Plus Ultra one. "I guess I should introduce myself, I'm Anja Gunnarsson. You might have heard of me from the Armeian Fighting Championship. Jess over there is my distant cousin."

I wonder what the gyms are like here, she thought. And I wonder if there's any attractive bi girls or lesbians here...

Zoey walked around a bit, not talking much. She heard that people were starting to choose room mates, or becoming closer with each other. It would not do well for her to be on the sidelines all year. She decided to walk up to a small group of girls talking, but was unsure of what to say, so backed away.

She then walked up to two people, she heard were named Mark and Reijas. "hello." She said shyly, "I'm Zoey Clarke."

Reijas Sarsi

Mark agreed which made the dorm situation a lot easier to work out. Each dorm required at least two people. If two people, they must be of the same gender. From there it could go four people, at which point they all had to be of the same gender or two of each. With Mark he was set. However, new opportunities presented itself. Zoey Clarke, whom Reijas remembered from the school setting in Neuvo, sauntered on up to the pair and introduced herself. Reijas remembered liking her- she seemed rather nice. Reijas smiled and waved slightly, pleased to see she was involved with this program going forward. Familiar faces in foreign lands were always pleasant. “Hello Zoey! I remember you from Neuvo. Would you like to room with Mark and I?” Reijas asked politely, already thinking of how to round it all out should she say yes.

Oh! Zoey completely forgot about her last time in Nuevo. It felt like it was years ago. "Hello Reijas. It is great to see a familiar face again. I would love to room with you." She looked over to Mark, "hello. I'm Zoey." She held out a hand for him.

Reijas Sarsi

“Fantastic!” Now they had three of the four they now needed. The last one needed to b female so it was paired up properly, as per the dorm rules. Reijas eyed many, but he seemed to have found someone relatively easily. The guides had all been rather kind but of the two females one seemed currently unattached or not busy. Reijas wasn't about to go and demand another group split for his benefit, so he found Emily and would make his pitch to her. “Hello! Mark, Zoey, and I wish to room together, but we are in need of a fourth and a second female. Would you be so kind as to room with ius?” He asked politely. Hopefully it would all come together and they could get settled. Failing that he would try and find some others and get this settled soon so they could all move on to the more enriching elements of their new saga in KwaDai.

"I'm Asina von Miamsen from Neu Kisanben Canton, South New Caledonia. I'm a Centro-Northern Nou, ethnically Lia and I come from the city of Neu Kisanben, population 2 350 000." Asina smiled and after quickly checking the time on her phone she continued "The temperature here must be extremely uncomfortable for you, if my country's bid city had won you proably wouldn't have survived. Whilst the temperature here is about 38 degrees C it is roughly 43 degrees in the city I was flying from. What are the temperatures like in Norhtern Verona? Asina asked Dmitra as she stopped to quickly rearrange her hairstyle.

Arias
He had never been on an airplane in fact he had never been out of country so this was all new him. It blew his mind how something as huge and heavy as a plane could actually fly and stay drifting in the Air. Then again he wasn’t extremely knowledgeable about aeronautics. He looked down at the Pamphlet he was holding to think of all the kids to be chosen it was him who got the opportunity to attend school abroad.

International Exchange Student Program 2016
Yafran, KwaDai
Welcome and congratulations Arias Cristián you’ve chosen to participate in the IESP’s study abroad program! You will be attending the Imperial School of Yafran in KwaDai….

Arias, put the paper back in his pocket and looked out the window sighing. He was going to be late he knew this but he hadn’t expected to be this late. The flight had been delayed for quite some time due to a storm that would have made taking off dangerous. So far KwaDai had proved to be an interesting place; the vast golden seas of sand were a huge contrast to Quensatango’s jungles. It seemed like such an inhospitable place. Arias wondered what the city would look like from what he understood KwaDai was a more prosperous country, so his expectations were quite high. As he continued to stare out into the sands he noticed a small spec of green in the distance, Yafran.

Arias already having gathered his luggage, a simply brown suitcase, used the signs to navigate his way towards the information and customs desk main. “Hello…uh where is IESP?” he began trying to remember as much English as he could, in case they didn’t understand Arias just remembered and quickly pulled out his IESP brochure.

DMITRA

Dmitra looked at Asina for a moment. ''It'sforty-nine degrees here, even thirty-eight would be a godsend. I live in the Kurakay Region in Verona, and since we're a federation, our regions may also be known as states in other federations. The average summer temperatures is around fifteen, the average winter is around minus ten to minus fifteen,'' she said, before typing something into her phone.

''The Kurakay Region is made up of two important areas; The Plain of Kurakay, which is a large plain drained the River Vurkosa and the Kurakay Peninsula where a overwhelming majority of Kurakay's population is. On ten million populate the region, of which seven million are on the population, and is rather low for Verona's eighth largest region. Verona is over eighteen million square kilometre's big, for your information, and is home to about eleven billion,'' she added, before pausing and thinking. ''Whats your home like?''

Sari
"Well at least you're here now. So in regards to the dorms would you like to stay with me?", Sari asked Anja nicely. "Seeing as nearly everyone else has got theirs".

Yafran International Airport (ATTN: Quensatango)
The information desk lady was greeted once more by another foreign student. She simply gave him the exact same instructions she had given the others. "You're not the first today. You have to go to the main entrance of this terminal and take a taxi to the school. You won't have to pay for the taxi once they know you are with IESP the school has covered those costs", she explained.

Martin

Aeroplanes.
Fucking Aeroplanes.
These were the first words Martin thought on KwaDainan soil as he was rudely jerked out of the rather pleasant dream in which he was simultaneously in bed with both girls he had serious crushes on. Groggily, he unbuckled his seat belt and stood up, waiting impatiently for the harendously slow foreign ground crew to get the plane ready for disembarkation. Free workers doing menial tasks like that, he thought; even the thought of it made him cringe deep inside.

Out of the plane and into the breathtaking heat of Yafran international airport.

Airport security was one of the things he'd never experienced before. He wandered into the air-conditioned airport, half expecting around half of the individuals on the aircraft to be laughing about 'quaint' local customs and already be citizens of KwaDai by now. But, he reminded himself as he pulled his luggage behind him, this was not the Haven, and here they cared who and what they let in. The Haven was just that: a Haven...for the world's underclasses and terrorists. If you wanted to smuggle guns into the Haven, the Haven would tell you to be its guest. Unfortunately, KwaDai expected you not to have guns and to stand in queues to be poured over like some lab rat. Handing the man behind the desk one of his several passports (another thing in great supply in the Haven), he proceeded to march passed the lines of people taking bags (having his either on his back or behind him) he approached the information desk where another boy was already waiting.

"Hello," he began in his imperius, drawling voice. "I am hear from the Greater Vakolicci Haven, on the internal exchange. Would you happen to know where I might find transport?"

"Well, between Liaki and Neu Graz at the Kisa Peninsula is located Neu Kisanben, a city famous for its' moped and auto manufacturing industries. A home to thousands of businesspeople and investors. It is defenietly not the most beautiful city as it was built to accomodate the oil industry, it is located in the fourth coldest Canton and the third most industrialized Canton. I'm not proud to live in it to be honest, I associate myself with Liaki the most." Asina stopped for a second and glanced at Dmitra "You proably know a lot about Liaki though as it was one of the possible host cities. It is a truly beautiful and rich city located in the Li river estuary, the centre of Nou fashion industry, anime industry and the most important cultural hub."

After a moment Asina admitted "My bad, it is suspiciously hot for 38 degrees. I was looking at the weather in Pyongchang Island Autnomic Republic, an overseeas province of our country. Anyway, let's change the topic, I want to see how you react to Nou fashion. Let me show you some photos on my phone. Here is the first photo, our beloved Chancellor Kimiko Takeda wearing an outfit designed by me. Second photo, this is typical Noumean big-city Fashion, this outfit was also designed by me. And... Here is also one of my previous creations, it was declared the most fashionable women outfit of May 2015 by the "Nou Fashion" magazine. What do you think about these outfits?" Asina glanced at Dmitra with curiosity and smiled gracefully.

DMITRA

Dmitra looked at each photo for some time, before drawing her verdict. ''Nice! Fashion designer, huh? You're actually really good, I bet that style would go down well in our capital. I have the most dull job ever, although its for weekends since I am 17 and I do have to go to school. I work at the Port of Yaktursk, second largest in Verona, behind Scresan and ahead of Luna. I work in the Passenger Terminal selling tickets for ferries, although though the new passenger terminal is nice,'' she said, and showed Asina a photo of the new passenger terminal, ''It's really big because of the huge cruise ships that come in from time to time. Then there's loads of people passing through, and it needs to handle it. But it's usual daily traffic is the ferries, and there's a lot. I can't even count the amount of ferries that come in daily, let alone the cargo ships that go into the port, and for every bloody ferry there's a trillion cargo ships passing through the port proper. Obviously I'm exaggerating, but oh my god! It's real busy, but it pays well!''

Dmitra then decided to talk about something else, ''So what was school like back where you're from?''

YARA

''Verona isn't for everyone either, however barely anyone leaves Verona for a new life, as Verona is a new life for many. The military is very tight, the police are actually simply military soldiers with less armour and less powerful weapons,'' replied Yara, however there was a patriotic vibe simply flowing out of her, ''But we are a grand nation. We lead the way in the Obloskan-Bastalvan Union in economic growth, economy and much more!''

''Although I live in the far north, it's not as nearly busy as Central Verona, where Luna and Scresan are. I'm from a small town called Ursk, near the city of Yaktursk, a city of around three million. Yaktursk has a colossal port, and you'd be stunned at the traffic! It's almost as busy as Scresan's port, and oh my god! I live in Ursk, obviously, with my family, but my village doesn't have a secondary school, so I take, well I took, the morning train into Yaktursk Central, and then the train back in the evening. Ursk is about four thousand people, pretty small. Rail transport is very important up in Yaktursk, with Yaktursk Central handling an average of thirty-two million people daily!''

Jess felt tense, like she usually did when talking to people from smaller towns. They usually looked down on her for her family, thinking she grew up with a silver spoon in her mouth, but that couldn't be farther from the truth. "Our country is like yours too, the military is massive, I think we called up seven fifty K just for the war going on now, and the police are ready to pounce on you if you mess with the big corporations here. I'm actually from Loftus, the city population is seven million and my mom runs Loftus College, the biggest one in our country.
