The Euranian People's Congress today elected the General President as head of state and head of government of the USSE. His name: Mikoyan Systen.

Mr. Syten was elected by the EPC with 75% of the votes. He has yet to transfer his personal items to the General President palace. He as also not issued any policies or orders yet.

Segentova helps refugees and announces military activity in the I.D


The Segentovan government announced today that it would officially accept 10,000 out of the currently unstable Eurania.
Today, press-speaker mr. Rodríguo Martínez announced that the government would officially take in 10,000 refugees and send a small naval-unit to the area to pick up refugees fleeing the area. Consisting of 1 Neustrashimyy-Class frigate, 2 Canberra-Class transports and 5 Espora-Class corvettes for intercepting boats of refugees and treating the sick and wounded.
Furthermore the ministry of defense announced they would officially send around 200 soldiers into the ID to "stabilize the situation, assist the Vancouvian soldiers currently active in the area and capture criminals who've crossed the border and simply thus evaded prosecution in Segentova. As many of these people have committed serious crimes, ranging from robbery, murder and rape are now part of the self-proclaimed "independence-fighters" they will be treated as enemy soldiers, not as Civilians.

Refugees arrive

After the communist takeover by the unfaithful citizens of Eurania, thousands of people have been displaced and have saught asylum overseas. Today the first boatload of refugees has made it in to Bhikkustan, where they were greeted by happy waves from the populace of Samadhi. Khan Surevi had this to say about the occasion. "We in Bhikkustan have a great life, and it is easy for us to become complacent and take this for granted. Over in Eurania, some people have foolishly risen up against the rightful authorities and put in place an evil regime. For those trapped, it has become a death trap. We are proud to help these people settle and repair their lives that have been ruined by revolution. We will send three large planes to bring over refugees. Failure to let these refugees out is a violation of our right to free travel. It will be a crime against humanity."

We hope that the tyrants in Eurania shall do what is right for their people, and that these refugees will find a far better life in Bhikkustan.

EPC declares Bhikkustani act a "violation of international borders"

In the legislative building, the EPC declared Bhikkustani act of sending three planes "a violation of international borders". As the planes were supposedly to land in Eurania, outrage spread across the cities. All airports across the nation were swarmed with soldiers and the skies patrols were doubled.

Mikoyan Systen, the General President, spoke that "Bhikkustan must withdraw these planes immediately, or pay the ultimate price."

At the border about 4,500 refugees were caught. It is unknown for where they are headed.

Today planes from the aid agency red wheel were denied access to Euranian airspace, and were driven off by armed fighter aircraft. Bhikkustan has condemned the incident as a war crime, denying aid and the right to travel and to choose where to live. The red wheel has sent food to the citizens of Eurania, and is demanding access to airspace to save refugees from this oppressive regime. We hope that by the grace of Buddha these vile tyrants shall see sense and let us do the right thing for their people. Our thoughts go out to those unable to leave this oppressive country, and we hope they will be ok.

Today, we are outside the House of Commons, as the Prime Minister asked to Mobilize the Defense Force,
due to the Rising Conflict of the problems outside the nation. Such so, the MP's voted to Mobilize, with 89/7% Yes.
Mobilization is due tomorrow, to bring up the reserves whom are the most skilled, to defend the nation if any threats grow.
In a meeting Today, the PM Said,
"The day Wellington will be invaded will be a sad day, but even worse will be the day we fall."
"We will stop that if this becomes that day, and such, we will mobilize the Reserves, and make sure our country is safe." He continued.

Refugees accepted; more to come

Today ten thousand Euranian refugees arrived in the port city of Ayari. The citizens, reportedly disheveled and relieved, have been set up in apartments and are being organized as we speak. Coryna's economy (booming due to trade and technology, as well as a recent foray into trade agreements) is in need of workers, and it is hoped by both Minister Kyrah Norte and Minister Lukas Cross that the refugees will quickly adapt to the language and conditions. Approximately 1500 of the refugees were children, and the hope is the children will quickly be in the education system. Minister Norte stated just minutes ago that "Coryna has sent three squadron of planes over Euranian territory in an attempt to judge conditions. One of our fleets landed just north of the border and assisted about 500 fleeing citizens. They have been flown into Jhuya Maris and are currently receiving medical attention." The minister would not confirm is the fleet had orders to assist the refugees. "We denounce Eurania for blatant disregard to its citizens," was her only comment on the matter. We will report later as our HS Aziz Cerule addresses the nation from Jhuya Maris.

Defence Minister Worries About Growing Euranian Troubles.

A couple days ago, Silverstom announced that they were going to send in 3 corvettes into Euranian naval space. Here's what defence minister Patrick Hattims had to say;

"I think that this is a particularly situation we are in, especially the leak where Eurania was entering a nuclear missile program. Most, and many nations in our region have either little to no bombs. With most governments in this modern age, they will think you are a warmongering nation if you are going to develope chemical warfare, or are about to strike another country, because you are probraly in a war. Another reason, why this worries me is because of the shrinking amount of civil rights. Take the refugee crisis. You have a number where people are being denied travelling, or seeking refuge in another country, this is, quite frankly, staggering. You must have a good amount of rights, in order to grow, economically and politicaly as a nation."

There is currently a debate in the Stoming whether to increase the amount of ships in the embargo.

Standoff latest

Today the Bhikkustani government has declared unilateral sanctions against Eurania and all of their allies. The sanctions come days after Bhikkustani planes were denied access while on a humanitarian mission. The sanctions will stay in place until Eurania allows the Bhikkustani planes access. They have also expressed interest in joining the coalition that are taking action against Eurania.

ENSS Ascenyion decommissioned and sunk.

The Euranian Navy has officially retired the aircraft carrier ENSS Ascenyion due to budget cuts. She was sent to west of the city of Ksyrtriniat, in the open sea. There she was sunk by a torpedo from a Zylen class submarine.

On land a funeral service was held to those who lost their lives while serving on the ship.

In an emergency conference, HS Aziz Cerule made a prompt public statement. "We are outraged by Eurania's belligerent comments and restrictions on freedom and travel to their citizens," she announced. "Frankly, if we were "spying on a sovereignty," we would have far more subtle ways to do so. We simply were confirming the international reports on humanitarian crises and sent in a humanitarian mission. We are appalled that this is considered an act of war. If Eurania shoots down any jets, it will be declared an act of war; however, we would not want to risk Corynari pilots on the mission. We will protect the 500 refugees airlifted out of the country. I regret to inform all sympathetic Corynaris to this disastrous human rights violation."

Eurania shoots at Coryna

A Euranian interceptor fired shots at a Corynian jet flying over Euranian airspace. The jet started smoking and fled from Euranian airspace


Much of the government, military and people are in outrage, Yuran Poldoskev, the General Commander of the Euranian Military spoke "Eurania has not flown over Corynian airspace. Coryna must stop sending planes to Eurania or they will shot down immediately."

Across the country, especially in remote areas SAM missile stations have been set up.

Prime Minister of Bhumidol Urges International Community to Respect Euranian Sovereignty

23:41 - Kanchenjunga, KMA, Bhumidol - In a public press conference, Prime Minister Pema Choedron expressed the nation's disapproval on the international community's intent to harm the territorial and demographic sovereignty of Eurania, in the form of a strong rebuke.

After a long 8 hours of debating, the new leader of the great nation of Muunilenst finally got to convince the parliment to leave the MSTO. A narrow vote, with only 58% saying yes, leaves the nation open to many new ideas and allies, while maybe burning bridges to others. Right now this leave of Absence of MSTO could potentially leave files of intelligence and key factors against the imperialist group open, where it could fall into the enemies of the groups hands. PRIME MINISTER GELLA TELLS OTHER NATIONS TO STAY OUT OF EURANIA

Two Days ago, Prime Minister Leonardo Gella held a press conference over the Euranian air crisis. He expressed his condolences for any emigrants that have been barred from Eurania. But he also recognized the fact that other nation have disrupted a nation's sovereignty. "What Coryna did was not respectful, they disobeyed the wishes of a sovereign nation. But Coryna is not all at fault here either, Eurania has barred its citizens from leaving, and thus is taking the right of the people away." He also remarked on Nishida's orders, "Nishida's orders are something to take with a grain of salt, the words present were true and left it to probability, but what if they do not respond accordingly?"

Oglassa's military budget was also raised, if war broke out they would be prepared to defend themselves.

Doppler tells nations of TWI to respect the Euranian sovereignty and respect their borders.
In a press conference 2 days ago Prime Minster Jeff Marston disapproved of the international community for "invading their sovereignty."
He had this to say regarding nations disapproval of Euranian not allowing humanitarian missions within their borders.

"It is a Nations choice to allow people in and out of their borders. Respect Eurania's shift to communism and respect their borders. We very much like the effort by nations to get aid to those in need but to break borders with a new hostile government is unacceptable and is foolish. Obey the wishes of a sovereign nation and follow up on their requests."

Along with this the Dopplerian government has stated that they are willing to take in 2,500 refugees by the end of 2015 and may be increasing their number due to the severity. Doppler has sent 1 frigate and one corvette outside Eurania waters to rescue any refugees fleeing by sea.

Camtholia requests international aid

With Camtholia now housing approximately 800,000 Euranian refugees, who recently fled from the country's new communist regime, Camtholia has requested aid in rehoming and rehabilitating the refugees.

The sudden influx of people has put heavy strain on Camtholia's resources, with food becoming scarcer and public transport crowded.

Furthermore, the refugees are often lacking in housing, thousands are now housed in camps near Kingsport.

Finally, the terrorist group "New Dawn" seems to have had an idealogical shift, seeming to now be trying to bring a communist regime to Camtholia, to mimic it's neighbours, but further details are classified.

Stomian Naval Forces to Withdraw

In a moment of an unanimous decision in the Stoming today, every Member voted for the withdrawl of our naval forces and the sending of the

humanitarian volunteers. Political Analyst and Stoming reporter Jon Belushi reports.

"We must not forget that these people are leading the same lives as us. (With limited civil rights) This situation, during the restoration of the government will make it more unstable. It is still a sovereign country, and it has the same rights as any other would unto us. I think, the government is letting us retreat to avoid taking lives. This is something which intrigues me. They go around rounding up persons and send them into gulags, yet they still value lives. If we attack a nation simply for being themselves, then what kind of people are we? For now, this is Jon Belushi reporting from the Stoming.

We expect the boats to dock back onto Stomian land on Friday. The humanitarian mission will arrive in port on Saturday.

Refugee Crisis latest

Bhikkustan has backed down from its stance on Eurania, but still regards the event as a breach of human rights. Bhikkustan has decided to locate three navy ships in international waters near Eurania, to pick up refugees from the nation. Bhikkustan has also decided to help Camtholia in their struggle with the refugees, and will take in 150,000 refugees currently in Camtholia. We hope that this is enough to help them out.

Red Wheel to help Red heart

The international Red Wheel organisation has requested a cooperative mission to help the Red Heart organisation in their help of Euranian refugees. They offer to set up refugee camps on the southern part of the island to protect migrants who have made it out. We hope that this effort will help relieve stress on neighbouring nations, and help these people through a dangerous time. We propose that these camps will be guarded by international soldiers and become almost autonomous, to protect them from rebuke.

National General Election Underway

As of 19:00 local time, polling booths across the nation's schools, community buildings and town halls have opened for this term's General Election.

Like the previous election 5 years ago, voting will last for 24 hours whilst politicians and parties make last attempts to sway votes.

Many political analysts are predicting a close result, as a growing number of the population are becoming less supportive of the current Liberal-Conservative Party, who have been in office since 2000.

There are many predictions suggesting another Liberal-Conservative victory, albeit one by a slim margin.

Tory politicians are hoping that, with last weeks announcement of Ms Thatcher standing down prior to the election, many people continue to vote for a Tory party with fresh blood.

However many polls undertaken these past few months, including one by FABC News, suggest that Labour Party may gain enough seats to challenge the Tories' position.

If the Liberal-Conservatives are unable to secure a majority, Labour have a chance to form a coalition government with the Union Independence Party and Worker's Coalition Party.

A Labour Government, even if a coalition, could dampen spirits with the Unions new found allies; the Labour Party formed the bulk of the "No" vote to join MSTO.

Early exit polls are predicting trouble for the Liberal-Conservatives, as both Labour and the UIP appear to be gaining momentum.

EAF and EN fire at Bhikkustan

In response to the requests Bhikkustan has ignored, a Euranian corvette, with assistance from a MH-400 bomber, fired upon Bhikkustani ships as they approached the border. No ship was damaged on both sides, however.

Immigrants and illegal emigrants were met with armed Euranian soldiers at the southeastern border of the USSE. A riot ensued, causing at least 5000 arrests.

The southeastern border was shut down in an effort to combat illegal emigrant ion from the USSE. However the southwestern, northeast and northwestern borders were not shut down, although in those places armed facilities have been installed, as well as a deployment of at least 155,000 soldiers in total to those places as well.

VS Jefferson Carrier Sold to The Republic of Sowhary

Talks between Vancouvians and Sowhans concluded today at the Vancouvian capital. Although the talks were largely private, the Vancouvian Congress did announce the sale of one of two Vancouvian carriers, a Nimitz-class supercarrier, for an undisclosed price estimated between $5 and 10 billion.

"We have no use for both carriers - a central tenant of our beliefs is an emphasis on efficiency, after all. There was nothing we could do with two carriers that we cannot do with one," said Senator Natalie Geils in a briefing this afternoon.

Skeptics wonder whether it was wise to decrease the power of the Vancouvian military in a time when the country is just beginning to get heavily involved militarily in the region. The occupation of the I.D. has remained bloody and stalemated, and as of yet, even with international assistance, it is unlikely a breakthrough will occur any time shortly. Other controversy stirs with the nature of the buyer; in a nationwide poll 86% of Vancouvians either hadn't heard of Sowhary or had no opinion on the nation.

Eurania's hostility is being taken very divisively by the Corynari public. 76% sympathize with the refugees, while 52% wish for military intervention. The HS announced that, "We have no wish to violate a sovereign nation; however, as a nation formed from refugees of violence and suppression, we stand with the citizens of Eurania. Those who wish to leave will be accepted by Coryna; though our jets have not violated Euranian airspace since Eurania's belligerence, which injured a pilot, we will help outside of borders. We condemn the nation's actions; however, though I have no wish for war, an emergency election has been called prompted by the attack on Bhikustan. If Coryna votes to airlift those who wish out of the country, I must do as Coryna wishes, though I strongly oppose military action. We will see what the results yield tomorrow."
